After shopping around for a long time and looking at a lot of griddles in the stores, I took a leap of faith and ordered this one on-line, without having seen it in person.I couldn't be happier. It is a heavy design, but without the inconvenience of cast iron.I didn't think I would like the higher sides than most griddles, but it turns out to be really convenient.I bought it to go over an oval center burner in a new gas stove but it is a bit too large to heat up evenly and using it across two side burners actually works better as I can still use the other side. One thing to note, I bought it because I thought it was American made, but it turns out to be yet another item that corporate bean-counters have taken out of the hands of American workers and shipped overseas to China.Picked up this great deal when it was on sale -didn't really need it at the time, but thought it would be nice to have for Sunday mornings.I was VERY impressed with the quality and weight of griddle.I haveelectric burners and while the heat was not PERFECTLY distributed, it was very close.A nice heavy duty griddle with a nice design.I've been looking for a larger griddle for some time. I had no idea they came THIS large without being attached to their own power source, though. I have a gas stove as opposed to the flat top stove recommended, and this griddle fits well and works great. I love being able to cook all of my food in one batch. This is a quality product and I am very happy to own it.Chef's Design Griddle

I really did not know whatto expect of the product. After spaying it on the stove it immediately started to break up the grease. I was really surprised at the speed with which it started working. This thing is amazing. It is a very good product. I really cannot believe how well it worked.will not be disappointed. Will clean things that you gave up on. Made my Brielle toaster oven look brand new and it is the 2nd most used appliance in my house.
Clipper Teflon Platinum Grip Fry Pan
This little 7" pan is heavy duty for sure. I have a commercial 8" that is lighter, but has a slightly better non-stick coating, but this little guy is fine too. Nice balance, great handle and built like a brick. Can't go wrong with this for small jobs. Get one soon..Solid restaurant grade construction, thick aluminum pan distributes heat evenly. Silicon handle won't melt if you throw it in the oven for a bit. I bought the 10" and I like it enough 'm going to get the 12" too. Teflon surface is slick. No teflon pan lasts forever, but this one is cheap enough to replace once the surface wears out.Buy Clipper Teflon Platinum Grip Fry Pan Now

Ecolution Artistry Chicken Fryer with High Dome Glass Lid
Love, love this pan! Great size and feel. The handles are great. Truly nonstick, cleaning is a dream! Eggs, pancakes, anything you cook inside slides right off. My other pans are Martha Stewart brand and are no where near as good. The fact that it is made environmentally safe for the planet and safe for us as well is fantastic. Buying "Green" products is extremely important. After weeks of using, the bottom hasn't turned brown like my other pans. It still has the pretty green leaves design :) Looks brand new.I first discovered the Ecolution Artistry pans in my local grocery store. At that time, I was in need of a griddle pan, so I decided to purchase their Ecolution Artistry 11" Griddle.I was attracted to the eco-friendly non-stick coating on these pans--they use a water-based, Hydrolon non-stick coating rather than traditional Teflon/PFOAs--and I admit, I also loved the cute green flower pattern on the bottom!I wound up loving the griddle, so I was interested in purchasing other pans from the Ecolution Artistry line.
I have found my new Ecolution Artistry Chicken Fryer to be excellent as well.As compared to the previous chicken fryer-type pan I was using, the Artistry is more light-weight, which is convenient for transferring food. However, it is the same size and still a substantial pot for cooking chicken or any top of stove-top one-dish meals. But the BEST part about this pan--and the entire Ecolution Artistry series--is the non-stick quality.Foods slide around in the pan--there is absolutely NO sticking! And the Artistry pans are a dream to clean.Although they are dishwasher-safe, I prefer to hand-wash (to preserve the outer finish as well as the overall life of the pans).I could practically just rinse this pot or wipe it out with a paper towel, it is THAT non-stick.
The only issue that I had with this particular pot is that I did NOT like the included high dome glass lid.Unlike the lids that come with other Ecolution Artistry pots (see Ecolution Artistry 8-Piece Cookware Set), which are relatively lightweight, tempered glass with metal edges, the included glass dome lid for the Chicken Fryer is VERY heavy and does not have the metal edge.It does not match the other pots in this series, and it seemed too bulky to be very functional to me.Since the lid of my old fryer pan was actually more similar to the others in the Artistry series, I wound up putting the knob from the high dome glass lid on my old lid, and now the old one is almost an exact match.I suppose some people may prefer the heavier glass lid, but this was an issue for me, and it was the sole reason that I rated this product 4 stars instead of 5.
Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied with this pan overall!I highly recommend the Ecolution Artistry series, both for their excellent non-stick performance as well as for their eco advantage.

This pan was a delightful surprise.I've had Circulon, Calphalon and I prefer this one.So light (although the cover is somewhat heavy), but the helper handle is really great. Food cooks evenly and it's so easy to clean.I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This is another great Ecolution pan but the lid has some problems in that it's really hard to tighten the handle enough on it to stabilize (you have to assemble the top handle to the lid upon arrival), and because the lid is so freaking heavy, the handle feels a bit loose when you lift it.I'm trying to brainstorm a way to fix this situation. I might try an extra rubber grommet or something to help tighten it better.
Other than that, it cooks great and is VERY non-stick and I don't have to worry about 'fumes'.

I am very pleased with the way this pan cooks evenly. The pan also cleans very easily. I love that it has two handles for heavier food items. The only complaint I have is, the bottom of the pan has begun chipping already, pretty much after first use. AND the thing is, I have babied this pan because the bottom is so beautiful that I was extra careful, to no avail.
Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 9-1/2-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan
I'm not all that crazy about nonstick pans as I've heard there can be some ill health effects from the chemicals used in the nonstick surfaces. However, they are extremely convenient, and I also read that the chemicals are being phased out. This pan is advertised by Le Creuset as having a "forged hard-anodized non stick surface" and the surface seems much "tougher" than the old Teflon skillet we had before... less susceptible to scratches and seems much more durable. The pan itself is quite heavy, substantial and distributes heat well. The non stick surface works well, releasing food with no issues without any need for oil or sprays.Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and can recommend this pan.I replaced a worn-out 10" non-stick with this one by Le Creuset.Having other cooking utensils by Le Creuset made this an easy choice.I've not used it several times and find it of excellent quality and just as the product description describes it.
Highly recommended.

This pan has a very good shape, size, and weight for everyday use.The nonstick surface, however, has a tendency to wear off easily.By that I mean the Teflon coating disappeared with less than 20 uses.Company has been good to replace the pans free of charge under their warranty.Read Best Reviews of Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 9-1/2-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan Here
Scanpan Classic 3-Piece Starter Set
Scanpan cookware is great to use if you don't trust traditional nonstick because you can't use metal utensils or some foods, give Scanpan a try. Since the nonstick properties are part of the cookware alloy, not acoating, you can use anything (metal, wood, etc) and it won't scratch ordamage the surface. You don't have to baby it.It doesn'tscratch.Cleanup is a breeze (with the exception of the grill pan, whichis nice to use, but difficult to clean because of the circularridges).
Scanpan works well in the oven and on the stovetopcasserole-style stewpots such as the one in this set are a typicalexample.
Scanpan is usually fairly expensive, so it's a good idea to buyit in sets, and since the sets change often, be patient if you want aparticular item but you want to save money.
Also, Scanpan tends todiscolor slightly with use it's not ever going to gleam.Thediscoloration is subtle because of the dark gray color.Scanpan is for go,not show.To their credit, these pans cook more evenly than anything else I've used besides the original Scanpan. A big strike against them: They are NOT the original Scanpan! I loved my old indestructible Scanpans. I LOVED that they didn't have a Teflon-type lining, but instead a ceramic film that was sprayed on at umpty-thousand degrees. They cured up better than black iron, and cooked hash browns the same color edge to edge! I could use metal spatulas! My new Scanpans are starting to peel....Man, that aggravates me! This is a great set at a great price. The frying pan takes a while toheat up but it cooks so evenly great pancakes! The low dutch oven isnice because the sides are not so high that you have to stick your arm waydown in the pot but not so low that there's a problem fitting a reasonableamount in.I use it a lot with the steamer insert. The pans are nice and heavy, but I'm very frustrated with my set.I most commonly cook eggs and pancakes in the skillet, and more than half the time I get horrible sticking.I clean the pans well, and oil them, but items still stick and burn. I don't recommend these pans.Granite Ware 509-2 18-Inch Covered Oval Roaster
You'll see "Granite Ware" or "Graniteware" on lots of pans with this look, but they are not all the real thing. Amazon carries some of these fakes, so be aware, because the fakes are junky by comparison they are thinner, the edges are sharp (not rolled,) the handles are also sharp and flimsy, etc.I researched it, and ALL the quality complaints for Granite Ware on Amazon are for imitations made OFFSHORE (Mexico, China, et al.) Thats also the reason for the lower prices sometimes found in storesthe pans are knockoffs. If the label on your pan does NOT say "Made in the USA" you did NOT get real Graniteware! (Also, REAL Granite Ware covered roasters have "USA" EMBOSSED under the handle of the lid.) So try to get the real American Granite Ware it will not disappoint you!
PS Excellent roasting & browning at LOW temps! We use 275 degrees (at most) and always get great results whether roasting Turkey, Chicken, Beef, or Lamb.
I'd been using a stainless steel roaster and couldn't figure out why my turkey always took TWICE as long to cook....so frustrating!
The first time I used this roaster, it was my best turkey ever...perfect color and flavor, and finished on time! Also, it's sturdy and easy to heft in and out of the oven, unlike the back-breaking stainless steel monstrosity. 17 stars!

One thing to keep in mind with this and other Granite Ware roasters is that the dimension given is the outside one, including the handles. The "18-inch" one is just 15 inches inside (long dimension). Be sure to buy the 18-inch one if you want to cook a turkey rather than a chicken. You can fit a turkey up to about 22 lb. in it. (Tip: wrap the turkey completely in foil after stuffing and cook at 400 degrees uncovered; sample time, 4 hours for 17-19 lb. turkey. Peel back the foil for the last 15 minutes to brown. No basting, works every time!) This item does say USA on it, so I hope it will last for years, like our old one.Want Granite Ware 509-2 18-Inch Covered Oval Roaster Discount?

My issue with ordinary oven mitts was that I would accidentally dip the tips of the thumb into food all the time, not sure if it was lack of coordination or incompetence, but the grip on this glove is easy to clean, as well as being great at gripping glass and almost completely heat resistant. I like the way food cooks in these skillets right now, but they are not quite two months old and already they are scratched. The the only utensils ever used in them are the ones that were sold with the set.I love them now, but am waiting to see what they will be like in a few months.Solid construction. The porcelain finish allows the out side to be just as non-stick as the inside. I purchased these pans for my camping kitchen kit....We were headed out on a weekend campout with my 4 girls and my old pans made the food stick. They are wonderful pans, nonstick, right size for coleman stove and cleanup was a breeze. The only minor flaw was they were dented slightly on one side.Only the llinch. But not really noticable unless you really inspected them.I will definately still keep and use for camping.Paula Deen has good quality cookware and I really like her stuff.

Paula Deen Signature Porcelain 9 & 11 inch Nonstick Skillet Set, Butter
I've been looking for an all purpose skillet set that is versitile and can distribute the heat evenly throughout the bottom of the skillet, these Paula Deen skillets are the best that I've tried and nothing sticks to the bottom.
Like most kitchens, mine has pots and pans from various manufactures, an after shot of my trials to find something that approaches the ultimate cooking surface. I must say this: They are the best that I've tried.
These are some of the attributes:
9-inch open skillet and 11-inch open skillet
Aluminum construction for fast, even heating; speckled, porcelain-enamel exterior; nonstick interior
Dual-riveted, rubberized, stay-cool handles; copper-plated rings for convenient hanging
Hand wash only; oven-safe to 350 degrees F
Limited lifetime warranty
But like most good cooks, you want a lid to preserve the heat, to help in the cooking process, and to preserve the nutrients in your prepared meal, sadly these skillets do NOT come with lids.
But do not fear, I found a perfect match to these wonderful skillets. These are Cuisinart lids, and they make a very good seal, fit like they were made for these skillets, and you can find them here at Amazon, Cuisinart 71-2228CG Chef's Classic Stainless 2-Piece Glass Lid Set.
What more would a good cook want, well I'll leave that question opened.
These Paula Deen skillets are a dream to cook with, even heat distribution making your job much easier and the clean up quick and easy as nothing sticks to these skillets.
An epicurean Bon Appetite

In terms of functionality, these pans do the job they're meant to do, which is why I kept the four star review. In all honesty though, people are buying these pans (and the other Paula Deen sets) because of how they look, which unfortunately doesn't last long. I used the set on a gas stove and the pans were discolored after a dozen or so uses, making them a mucky brown on the bottom and sides which were impossible to remove. The warranty states that discoloration is common. If you're getting these for their look, don't be disappointed when it doesn't last.Mauviel M'heritage 150c 6413.22 8.6-Inch Round Fry Pan with Cast Iron Handle
Excellent pan. Usual tiptop mauviel quality. Love the cast iron handle on this one as most of my others are bronze. Great size for small quantities. Also, customer service from amazon.com in getting this to me in time for Christmas was AMAZING.I really enjoy cooking with this little pan, it is the perfect size for the nights that I am cooking for just me.
The pan heats quickly and cooks evenly and is easy to clean. I am thinking about buying many more pieces of the Mauviel copper cookware.

I love this pan.The conductivity of copper with electricity, holds true in heat. This pan can cook meat on one side.It conducts heat through. It's hard to explain, but the handle is cast iron, with a powder-coated handle.the 250c series is just iron. That one can go from the burner, straight to the oven. Both can, but powdercoat was put on with an oven; just a thought. Also, the 250c has a curved lip, mine is straight.Still, the edge feels similar to that of a french sword.Solid, strong; the Mauviel is is a 19th Century company; an so healthy food wasn't the norm. Therefore, in my opinion, the copper needs fat.I like the Mauviel M'Cook2 black anodized series, too.
KitchenAid Gourmet Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-1/2-Inch Skillet
This is a very good product and performs as advertised.Performance is synonymous with the brand name even though not manufactured in the U.S.A.I've been always looking for a skillet that is easy to wash. Aroma AFP-1600S Gourmet Series Stainless Steel Electric Skillet
I decided to try a skillet that didn't have the non-stick coating, as they all just start flaking off, and are very unhealthy. This skillet had no reviews on it yet, so I was very hesitant on purchasing it.I have no regrets, not only is it a nice looking skillet, but it heats up fast and evenly. It is definitely a keeper.Cleaning is a snap. Our Faberware electric skillet after 34 years finally had to be replaced. One of the legs broke off and was unrepairable. We use our electric skillet all the time and I wanted the replacement to be stainless steel, we purchased the Aroma because of that. The choice of stainless steel skillets are so limited. We have used it numerous times. We loved our Faberware skillet. This one is not has deep but was still able to cook a large pot roast. It heats evenly and food sticking is at a minimum. The only drawbacks are that the lid handle conducts heat so you have to use a pot holder to remove it and it cleans easily but there are vents in the bottom of the skillet so water can get inside where the element is, unlike the Faberware that was enclosed.Still pretty pleased with it overall.Buy Aroma AFP-1600S Gourmet Series Stainless Steel Electric Skillet Now
It is very difficult to find a stainless steel electric skillet that isn't coated with something. The power control on the last one I owned finally gave up after over 10 years of almost daily use. This one looks almost exactly like that one even though the brand is different and (in the month I've had it) has performed well. I'm expecting a long relationship.

I purchased the skillet to use at a Demo to cook frozen quick meals. I was impressed with how quickly it cooked the food and the ease of use. You have to try the different temperatures to make sure you don't cook the food to fast or scorch the pan. The pan was easy to clean with my natural green cleaners (baking soda, castille soap and vinegar). The green cleaner keeps the shine in the stainless steel pan and the baking soda provides a non-scouring clean.
I liked the size of the pan as well. I think it is a quality product and affordable. I recommend it!

Beware of this item. It's attractive. It's stainless steel and should be healthy to use.
And it burns everything you try to cook.
I've tried three times and ruined three meals. No matter what you set the control at it goes to full throttle and won't back off.
What a disappointment.
I've owned many electric cooking appliances and this is the worst.
Mine is going to the dumpster.
I'd rate it a minus 5 if available.
Cuisinart FCT33-28H French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless 5-1/2-Quart Saute Pan with Helper Handle and C
I wanted to switch from my 12yr old Circulon nonstick set to stainless, so I bought this to try out the concept.I picked this specific piece because a large sauté pan isn't included in most tri-ply sets.I used one of the 20 percent off coupons at Bed Bath and Beyond to pick up this sample of the mid-priced French Classic line.I also picked up a Cuisinart MCP19-16 MultiClad Pro Stainless-Steel 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with Cover from the lower priced Cuisinart Multiclad Pro line, because I wanted to compare the two lines, and a small pot like this is also not included in most tri-ply sets.Along the way, I was able to side by side compare both Cuisinart lines to All-Clad, Calphalon, and Emeril lines of tri-ply. From what I can tell, the lines are all made from the same basic material. The layers are visible at the top of each pot, and they look the same. The pots sound the same when tapped, and have similar weights. It appears that the only difference is in the details. The French Classic is by far the nicest looking. The mirror polished outside of the pans is like a chrome bumper on a classic car.Interestingly, you can get reproductions of chrome bumpers done in polished stainless steel. They hold up very well, and scratches can be polished out of them.I assume the same can be said for these pots. The French Classic line also has nicer handles. They are cast steel, versus stamped, and are thus more substantial. They are unique, and artistic. They also have a flat spot that extends out a bit from the pot, before the first hole.Others, including the Multi-Clad Pro line have a handle that branches into a Y shape before it attaches to the pot. This Y shape lets spilled food run down the side of the pan and stick in the Y, which is hard to clean. The French Classic's handle is a solid piece for about a half inch out from the pot, forming an easier to clean ledge, instead of a tight, food catching triangle formed by the pot wall and the Y shape. Finally, the French handle is attached with noticeably smaller rivets, which are also smoother, meaning they will be easier to clean. The MCP's rivets look like...well they look like they were made in China, slightly rough and misshapen.
Let's talk lids. They both are non-magnetic polished stainless, as opposed to the pots themselves, which are magnetic. They aren't the same materials, though. The MCP lid is thinner and softer.Heck, a regular kitchen towel left swirl marks on it when I dried it.The same towel did nothing on the French lid.I would say that the Frenchie fits tighter because the rim of the pot isn't rolled like the MCP. Let's talk handles. The MCP handle (and lid) shows finger prints much easier than the French handle (and lid). There is a difference in polishing technique that has somehow resulted in a better surface on the French line. This will pay off as the pots get used.
The MultiClad line has two functional advantages over the French Classic, though.First, the lips of the pots are rolled outward, making it a bit easier to pour from them. I don't do that very often, so it's not a factor for me.Second, the outside is two tone. Most of the pot is brushed stainless, but the top half inch and the lid are mirror polished. The brushed stainless might wear better than the entirely polished (except the bottoms) French Classic outsides, although you can polish a scratch out of a mirror finish, but not a brushed finish.Appearance wise, it's a matter of taste, but I can tell you the unique handles and mirror polish of the Frenchie is striking.
On to cooking performance...they seem the same to me.Both have the same weight, construction and interior material and finish, which are identical to the other brands. So far, I've cooked steaks, taco meat, oatmeal, bacon and eggs in these two pans.A little soaking and a light scrubbing with a dish rag gets them clean. Not much harder to clean than the outgoing Circulon non-stick stuff.I did notice a slight haze developing on the inside that I couldn't clean off with a soapy rag, but a very light with Bar Keepers Friend® Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZ took care of that.Basically, both lines seem to be easy to clean, except for the fingerprints and swirl marks mentioned above. As for heat transfer, well they both worked at least as good as the old Circulon anodised aluminium, and I don't have to worry about non-stick coatings or aluminium leaching. One advantage over the non-stick is that you can get caramelization to form on the food and the pan when you saute a steak or some onions.Deglaze the pan with red wine or liquid of your choice and reduce it down to a nice sauce. The steak I made in this pan with mushrooms and onions in a red wine sauce was one of the best steaks I've ever had.
Ok, so which line is better, the French Classic or the Multi-Clad Pro?Which set will be brought in to replace the Circulon set?Hmmm...performance is the same. The Frenchie price is a bit higher, but not much higher if you shop around.Appearance is definitely different between the two lines, and I feel that the artistic handles and polished look of the Frenchie are a cut above anything else on the market, at any price. The MCP's two toned look is also nice, but side by side they look cheap compared to the French line.
Sounds like the French Classic is the one to get, right?Maybe. The problem with this line is the lack of selection in it.They just don't have many different types of pans in it.They only have one medium sized sauce pan, and it's only two quarts, for example. Where's the 3 and 4 quart sauce pans that are available in the MCP line? They do have a nice 4.5 quart Dutch Oven in the set that you can't get in the MCP.Beyond that, the only other French choices you can get besides this large pan being reviewed is a 6 quart stock pot, a 12 inch skillet, and non-stick versions of the open skillets.I read that this line hasn't been out for a year yet, so maybe more items will become available soon.
Here's what I think I'm going to do...I think I'll use another 20 percent off coupon at BBandB, which will bring the price of the French set down to $240.I'll keep my large 3 and 4 quart Circulon sauce pans for the few times I need one, and wait to see if a large sauce pan comes available in the French line, or maybe I'll stumble across one I like in open stock of another line, maybe even the Cuisinart MCP194-20 MultiClad Pro Stainless-Steel 4-Quart Saucepan with Cover. The deciding factor? They just seem better made. Made in France, not made in China like the MCP line and most other low to mid priced brands out there on the market.Received my Cuisinart French Classic 5.5Qt Saute Pan today, and it seems like a very nice product. However, the product appeared brand new in the package, but there were several burrs (appearing to be tooling marks) in the rim of the pan. They weren't a big deal, but when paying almost $100 for a single pan, I expect the final product to be flawless.Otherwise, the pan looks magnificentpolished stainless on the sides and matte on the cooking surface and the bottom.Very heavy and a nice handle.Just be careful when you receive the product and check it for manufacturing defects.Other than that, I have no doubt this product will provide years and years of faithful service. This is very high quality. They are quite thick, are great conductors of heat, and will hold up well. The exterior finish is gloss, and it will become scratched with time, but it's not on display, it's for cooking. The lip is not rolled, and it may be a bit difficult to pour sauce. That's not a bad thing, just a note. It's much easier to clean with a plain edge anyhow.
This pan is easy to clean, and looks great! I will be buying more in the future!!
Received it very quickly also.We chose this pan for a few reasons, one was that it was stainless steel, but what was really nice was the fact that it was advertised as being light weight. My wife and I have wanted to get a pan or dutch oven that could be put in the oven to cook or use on the stove, but dutch ovens are so heavy. So we got this to do our stir frys or whatever else where having deep sides would be a good benefit.
It works great and we use it frequently. The construction is good too and YES it is NOT made in China!!!! It's made in France!! The handle does not get hot and the extra grip on the side is really helpful.
It's a great piece and worth the price. We expect to keep this cookware for many many years over.
Excelsteel Professional Aluminum Frypan with Ceramic Non-Stick Coating
I originally threw away all my nonstick Revereware because I was frightened by the effects of the various chemicals on the nonstick. It was starting to chip and get into my food. I switched completely to stainless steel and I've been using that. I noticed I was avoiding making simple dishes like eggs and sausage because the food would stick and it was hard to clean. I even got a special cleaner for the stainless steel but it didn't work. I've been seeing all this hype about the "greener" nonsticks. But I've shied away because of the hefty price tag.I was at the supermarket and I saw this pan. It was also expensive but I liked the feel of the nonstick. I also liked the claims that they didn't use chemicals often found in nonstick. I checked out the price of Amazon and was very pleased with that it was about 1/2 the price than what I saw at the store. When I first got it, I immediately put it in the dishwasher. It came out fine so I made some sausage with it. It was slow to heat (apparently it will work on an induction stove-top but I only have a regular glass-top-maybe that slows the process a little) but it cooked the sausage perfectly. When I went to rise out the pan, both my husband and I laughed. Just rising it off appeared to completely clean it! It was amazing. The next night I made eggs. Same-slow to heat but made the eggs perfect! Then it was very easy to clean. I always rise it off then put in it in the dishwasher. I've had no problems. I really like this pan and look forward to ordering more sizes. I will update if I have any issues but so far I would highly recommend! We've been using this skillet for a month and it has performed extremely well.Didn't realize the skillet has small ridges when initially ordered, but discovered they don't hamper cooking or cleaning in any way. This 12" was our "test" skillet, so today we're ordering another along with an 8" and 10".Food is cooked evenly and clean-up could not be easier.

We have gone through many non-stick skillets over the years but this one is the best.We have used it at least 100 times now and it still looks and performs like new.You can cook at low temperatures and the ceramic surface cooks very evenly and the food tastes wonderful. We don't typically wash it in the dishwasher because it is so easy to clean and we don't want to tie it up in the dishwasher until it is ran again.I bought this skillet as a result of researching the best non-stick surface to avoid carcinogens related to cancer.Ceramic was recommended but, being skeptical of non-stick surfaces, I didn't want to spend too much money. We are so pleased with this skillet we added the 12 inch skillet to our Christmas list.

OK.Really , I don't know how this is a 5 star. The bottomof the inside of the pan looks like small chicken wire that's been spraypainted.I WAS going to return it unused. But I figured what the heck, I'll test it out.First I fried an eggwithout oil and it came out no problem.ThenI cooked a slice of "american cheese food product" and it peeled right out...no stickies. So, Iguess I'mkeeping my chicken wire pan:)
