Ragalta 12" Electric Skillet Fryer Red

Ragalta 12' Electric Skillet Fryer Redit is only 2inches deep. it looks as if it is as deep as the whole red part and it would have cost me

$19 to send back. it is packed and in my basement.

I purchased this electric skillet, and to my surprise it has been the very best one I used in a long time.I love cooking with it, it heats, and cooks wonderfully fast.I would purchase another if the need arises, and truly would recommend it to all of my friends.Thank you for a wonderful product.I really like the fact that it is shallow, and does not need very much oil when frying. The maintenance is great, and the weigth is very light, it surprised me when I took it out of the box.

Thanks

Daniel

Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10161 Cast Iron Pie Pan, 12 Inch x 9.5 Inch x 2 Inch

Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10161 Cast Iron Pie Pan, 12 Inch x 9.5 Inch x 2 InchThe 12 inches are outside of handle to handle. The upper band is 9.75 inches. The inside bottom is 7.25 inches, if they had put this last number I don't believe I would have purchased it. The cast is good except for the handle, it could have been filed when released from the mold. The Product quality itself I would give 4.5 stars.

I use these four pans for everything I cook in the toaster oven. They are a great product. I am happy I bought four of them. I'm cooking really good now. I'm cooking better than ever now. No regrets!

I wanted a cast iron pan to make Thick omelets, which I start on the stove and finish under the broiler in my toaster oven. This was just the right pan.

Love this pie pan!!!I have always been a fan of cast iron cookware and this pie pan reminds me why.It provides even cooking and holds heat well. The best part is that I can use it on the stove top for general cooking and for baking a variety of dishes. It is non-stick and easy to clean.

I really like the pans but one handle was broken due to poor packaging. They arrived packed with small plastic pillow air bags in an over sized box. This was not well thought out as the cast iron is heavy and crushed the air bags while sliding around the box. I would recommend wrapping in heavy paper to avoid damage. Any how, one handle broken is no big deal and it's still usable and with the 4 for 3 deal on the pans it was a bargain. Although they are pie pans I use them for yeast and corn bread too. Cast iron is versatile and will last a lifetime if maintained.

Funny Shooting Cowgirl Country Western Gift Raise Aim Fire Refrigerator Magnet

Funny Shooting Cowgirl Country Western Gift Raise Aim Fire Refrigerator MagnetThis magnet is cheaply made, low quality materials, etc. It is literally an image that is printed off a cheap home printer, glued to some cardboard, and has plastic over it with brown twine hot glued around the edges. I wouldn't spend more than 1 or 2 dollars on this.

This magnet is light weight compared to most refrigerator magnets but overall, I am pleased. Shipping was fast and it made for a cute stocking stuffer

Earth Pan 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set

Earth Pan 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware SetMy wife and I have spent a lot of money in our life time buying pots and pans. Some even claims "life Time Warranty" and cost triple the price, but nothing last a life time, not even close. When it was time to purchase another set, I did a lot of research (for days). Consumers Report, Amazon.com, etc. Earth Pan received very good reviews over all and it was safe (no PTFEs or PFOAs)we have young children.

The first few days, everything was fine. We read the instructions twice to make sure we followed everything to the letter.

Cons:

1. Non-stick: It still sticks, and depends on what you are cooking, cleaning up afterwards could still be time consuming.

2. Stainless steel handles gets very hot, so be careful, or get the plastic/rubber handle set.

3. Somehow when you get stains on the outside of the pots or pans, NO WAY of cleaning it off. I have research the internet and tried everything, and the stains are still there.

4. Like many other complaints about this set, yes, the pots are too small for everyday use. I agreed.

Pro:

1. Earth pan is well made and attractive.

2. Price is right.

If oneday the non-stick coating comes off (and they will, like all the other non sticks cookwares we ever own), I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals getting into our bodies (espically our kid's).

Update: 11/30/09

These pans are just as bad as the others. It sticks really bad after 3 months. I am so disappointed! Days of research and the "Consumers Report Rating" has not provided me with any satisfactions. Don't buy this. Really.

My husband is very cautious to read reviews before making 'major' purchases. He was very impressed with the reviews and the eco-friendly aspect of these pans therefore he bought the set for me for Christmas (on my request for new pans).I absolutely loved these at first.I made sure everyone in the hhouse knew how they were to be used and cared for so we could keep them like new as long as possible.About 6 months into owning them, one pan got ruined i think my teen-aged son sprayed cooking spray in it.There was absolutely nothing i could do to get it clean and have things not stick. Now its about 1 year later and the pan i use the most is sticking horribly.I am very dissappointed in these pans and hope that anyone who buys them doesnt get their expectations up too high.We are going with cast iron...tried and true easier to maintain, clean and more durable.

My inlaws got these for us because Consumer Reports gave them an excellent rating. We liked the weight and overall quality, and loved the fact that they were made without hazardous chemicals. However, after less than 1 month of proper use, the smallest fry pan had lost its nonstick quality and the next size up was wearing too.We returned the pans and got the similarly priced Rachel Ray set instead. It's been 6 months and the Rachel Ray pans are still in perfect condition.

We purchased these after a great deal of research. The pans arrived quickly and were packaged well. They are heavy and seem well-made. As for appearance they are very nice. The handles seem solid and the lids are tight fitting and heavy. I've read complaints about the pans being too heavy, but that's not something I feel is a bad thing. The non-stick coating works very well. Eggs, sauces, even oatmeal has not been a problem at all. I have not had any problems with denting or problems with the coating (although we follow directions quite closely, lest we ruin something because of our ineptitude). The conduct heat very well and you need to use a lower heat setting because of this. The use of vegetable oil is not recommended, so we haven't used it! My only problem with the set (and it was my own fault for not thinking) is the size of the saute pans. They are perfect for two, perhaps three people. But in our family of 4 they tend to be a bit small. The sizes were clearly stated and I should have paid more attention to them. The 8 qt stockpot is wonderful though and like the other saucepans tapers in towards the middle slightly which makes emptying them much easier. For an experienced chef these would probably not suffice, (but what chef would use non-stick?!?) but for home-style cooking with easy clean-up and an affordable price I don't really think you could go wrong with these.

Want Earth Pan 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set Discount?

I purchased this product after reading positive reviews on Consumer Reports. The set showed up in looked beautiful (hence the 1 star). As for cooking with it, that is another matter.

EVERYTHING sticks to this cookware(except water). No matter what is applied to the surface, whether it be PAM, olive oil, peanut oil, what ever, the eggs, mac and cheese, rice, oatmeal, vegetables, ground beef, (I did say everything) sticks and then burns to the bottom.

We cook a lot at my home.Every day.And now each of these pans can only be used 2 or maybe three times a week as they have to soak for over a day to loosen the burnt material!

I have owned this cook ware for 6 months and now my options are simple.Live with this terrible product or call it quites and spend another $100+ bucks on something else.I am getting sick of hearing it from my family that also uses this product.

I would highly recommend looking at another product unless scraping burnt material off new cookware(all night long) is a celebrated hobby.

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 9-1/2-Inch Fry Pan

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 9-1/2-Inch Fry PanI've had a handful of pieces of LeCreuset Stainless Steel Cookware for about two months, cooking roughly 19 meals per week. They're all great performers and very attractive. This line is basically All-Clad Stainless for 30% less. They are made in China, which is a sticking point for some people, but I am convinced that quality has not suffered. The origin is clearly marked on the box, and on the bottom of the pan--it's not hidden at all. It's simply an incredible pan for a better price. Other reviews state that this line approaches or equals All-Clad Stainless, and surpasses Calphalon Stainless.

These pans are fully clad, meaning the aluminum core extends up the sides; it's not only in the bottom. They are incredibly responsive on my gas stovetop. I actually thought they were too fast when I first got them, but now it's just another quality I appreciate. They heat quickly and extremely evenly. You often use a lower heat to achieve the same results. America's Test Kitchen faulted the Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 3-Quart Saute Pan (recommended with reservations, but still well-liked) for running a little hot, and I don't have that pan, but I have no trouble simply using a lower heat with all the pans I do have.

The handles are comfortable, a good length, and rarely get too hot (obviously, they get hot during oven use). They are made to fit through the handles of the lids, which is a convenient storing option. And incidentally, the lids are great, since they're stainless, too, instead of glass. This means no crud build-up around the edge, and they seal great. The same lid from my Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 3-1/2-Quart Covered Chef's Pan works on this skillet.

The bottoms are curved just right, so whisks and utensils fit in easily, allowing you to stir thoroughly and clean easily. The rolled edge truly does make pours a no-drip affair. The pan is balanced and light, but with enough heft to feel substantial and well-made. Because of the curve of the sides, this pan's flat cooking area is about 8-1/2 inches. That's fine for a lot of home cooking, but if you're a family of four, you might consider the Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 11-Inch Fry Pan, and if you regularly cook for more, or expect leftovers, you should probably just get the Le Creuset Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 12-1/2-Inch Fry Pan. (I personally want both ethe 9-1/2 and the 12, to cover pretty much any task.)

It has an excellent lifetime warranty. Thankfully I haven't had to use that, but I did use it with a Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 15-3/4-Inch Oval Fish Skillet, Flame, and was very pleased. (It was a lengthy process at nearly a month, but given that I got a brand new replacement for a $200 pan that was 4 years old, it seemed quite generous.)

Quality cookware like this makes a big difference if you cook frequently. It gets to temperature faster, heats evenly without burning in spots, recovers quicker and keeps its temperature easier. Since it handles well, it's more pleasant to cook with, moving easily around the kitchen, and holding still on the cooktop.

It cleans easily. I use regular dish soap most of the time. Bon Ami 04030 Bon Ami Cleaning Cake and Powder, 12-Ounce is my regular scouring powder, though Bar Keepers Friend® Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZ leaves the pan with a little extra sparkle (powder only, I Strongly dislike the liquid), which is nice since these pans are so pretty. Le Creuset makes a Le Creuset 12-Ounce Stainless Steel Cleaner, but I haven't yet tried it.

I love the LC Stainless cookware I have, and am looking forward to getting a little more.

Le Creuset's reputation rests in part on its history of production in northern France.Advertising materials tells the story of its origins and stress the French connection. However, like so many kitchen items now, this Stainless Steel 9 1/2 pan is made in China, a fact not listed anywhere in the production description on the net, the text on the box, the booklet, or the pan itself. One must search for a very small label stuck to the box. With the numerous discoveries of dangerous production shortcuts in Chinese manufacturing, many people want the origin of a product to be disclosed openly so a fully informed decision about the purchase can be made before receiving delivery. A trusted brand like Le Creuset, that prides itself on the often repeated link to France, should not hide the real origin of its pans.

Silit Passion Deep 9-Inch Frying Pan, Crazy Yellow

Silit Passion Deep 9-Inch Frying Pan, Crazy YellowIn the first Indiana Jones film, Marian whacks a bad guy on the head with a frying pan and he goes down hard (I think he died)...meet that frying pan.Its painted like a sexy Lamborghini and is NOT light. The ceramic coating is NOT Teflon and won't flake off when you decide to boil water in it.I've fried eggs with a littlebutter (this isn't really non-stick), fried fish sticks, and made Chinese noodles ...all with no problems...and cleaned up the pan with water and a sponge.

The only thing that stuck a little (left a "ghost print" which eventually scrubbed off) were Chinese steamed dumplings.I've got this and the 11 inch serving pan and am contemplating the 8 inch model.I live in Germany, so the price isn't so insane!Keep your eyes peeled for Silit Silargan cookware like this...I can't imagine you'll be disappointed! Farberware Millennium Colors 12-Piece Non-Stick Cookware Set

Farberware Millennium Nonstick Aluminum 12-Piece Cookware Set, BronzeI purchased this set after ordering another set that I was not happy with and had to send back. These are great!I love the color! It is a darker red, kind of like maroon.I did not know when I ordered these that they are the same color as my kitchen chairs.Bonus! They look great hanging on my pot rack!

They say that they are metal safe, but I don't think that I would use metal in these. You can kind of see where the plastic untensils have been used, small indentations, which I think that you would be able to see on any nonstick cookware, but nothing down to the metal.

They are hand wash only and that is fine with me, I want to keep them looking new.The silicone handles are nice and the weight of the pans are easy to pick up with one hand and place in the sink. So far I am very pleased with these pans.

I purchased the Farberwear Millennium cook set because of previous experience with individual Millennium fry pans I had purchsed in the past that were heavy alluminum non stick pans. These new cook set pans are nowhere near as heavy as the old ones, and that was a disappointment. But the are very good to cook with.Non stick is excellent.Cleanup is excellent. If treated well they should be good pans for several years.Be very careful about overheating if you use a glass top "pulse" heating stove.Yes, I would recommend them.I purchased from Amazon because of the good price and free shipping. But I wish they were heavier!

I purchased these about a month ago. We use them nightly.

They are hand wash only.

The interior is teflon coated. It is very slick and smooth inside which makes it super easy for your food to come off as well as to clean afterwards. You do not use cooking spray with these pans.

The outside appears more durable than other exteriors in this product category.

The bronze color is a mid to dark brown metallic (visualize mixing milk and dark chocolate together and that is the darkness of the brown color).

I've been wanting a new set of pots and was determined to make sure that anyone that uses these does not use metal utensils on the teflon/nonstick surface! When I finally got them I read the instructions and sternly told my husband never to use a metal spoon or fork and that we don't even need to use Pam cooking spray because it'll ruin the nonstick surface. He had a hard time swallowing that until I showed him the instructions in black and white.A couple of days later I decided to fry a couple eggs for breakfast sans the cooking spray.Well, the eggs stuck so badly to the nonstick surface that I had to throw them right in the garbage when I couldn't even lift them up with my plastic spatula without breaking the yolks. The pots look nice, but nonstick? NOT!

Scanpan Classic 14-inch Fry Pan

Scanpan Classic 14-inch Fry PanI bought my 14 inch Scanpan at a chef supply store more than five years ago. The first year or so I used this pan constantly for everything from fried eggs to fried rice. The non stick surface was excellent, and I was extremely happy with the performance. At first, since it was rated to do so I did use metal utensils on it; I did manage to create two small scratches though so at some point I switched to using wood or nylon utensils in this pan. BTW, since they say metal utensils are okay to use I felt the scratches were a warranty issue and long story short the warranty claim was denied. A little more than five years later I'm not sorry I bought his pan but considering the sum of the reasons below, it's unlikely that I would buy another:

Pros:

Outstanding performance in the nonstick department for about 18 months of heavy use.

This pan is so large I store it in the oven so of course eventually I forgot to check the oven before turning it on and there was no damage to either the handle or pan.

The "lip" across the other side of the handle makes it easier to move the pan if it's loaded; just grab with a potholder and it acts like a second handle.

It cleans up very easily. When new it is effortless but even these days even when stuff is stuck to it, I just put the pan back on the warm stove, add a cup or two of water to the pan and let it sit for a half hour or so, and using a nylon dish brush everything comes off relatively easily.

The surface of my pan has never bubbled or warped and other than the couple of scratches, today, over five years later it might be a shade darker but looks just about as good as the day I bought it.

Cons:

Relatively expensive for the time it remains truly non stick.

For such a large surface it does heat fairly evenly on a gas stove but on an electric I find that it heats quite unevenly.

The non stick nature is long since a memory but I still use this pan. With things that should NOT stick like bacon cooked over low slow heat I find that the surface gets brown bits stuck to it and I have to watch the pan carefully to avoid burning the contents.

Bottom line: As far as non stick choices go, these are especially expensive and since non stick apparently has a finite lifespan no matter what it's made of or who it's made by, maybe there are less expensive, more even heating, better performing choices out there. Some may point out the "lifetime warranty" *IF* they will honor it but returning a 14 inch HEAVY pan at my expense would still mean upwards of $20-25 of additional cost to me *plus* any handling fees. So, with consideration of the cost and performance versus lifespan of this pan, for a little less than two "good" years of non stick service I'd have to say I would not purchase this brand of pans again.

This is my third Scanpan purchase and I love their products.Several years ago I had a problem with 1 pan and was able to return it for a replacement after 2 years of use.I am totally satisfied with their products.

The best fry pan I have ever used. Love the 14 inch size. Using on a induction range with the max. heating element being 12 inchsyet the pan heats evenly out to the fully 14 inchs of pan width. Get great cooking results and never need to heat above medium even for stir-fry.

The non-stick surface of the pan is truly non-stick to this point after 3 months of use. Now have three of these pans: a 10 inch and a 8 inch. I follow the care instructions by hand washing right after use while the pan is still warm and never use metal utensils. Have used other premium fry-pans such as All-Clad and the Scanpan fry-pan out perform on all counts.

Want Scanpan Classic 14-inch Fry Pan Discount?

I wanted a 14 inch frying pan to make cooking for additional guests easier.I have 2 older Scanpans that guaranteed the finish whether metal or non-metal utensils were used.I did have to return one of the older Scanpans that had pitted, but have been happy with this brand overall. My older pans are not truly non-stick and do require some soaking depending upon what has been cooked in them. The new pan does recommend using non-metal utensils to protect the non-stick finish. It cleans beautifully, so you don't need any non-stick spray.Non-stick spray can actually make cleaning non-stick pans much more difficult.Afterall, that's the point of getting a non-stick finish to begin with.I don't use the pan often, but have been very happy with it's performance. It is about 14.5 inches across and 23.5 inches from handle to handle(outside measurements).I also purchased the glass lid and have used it every time I've used the pan. It is somewhat heavy, so having the small extension handle on the pan has been very helpful. The extension handle does get hot so make sure to use a good hot pad when lifting.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend purchasing both the pan and glass lid if you cook for larger groups. It's a good investment.

Cuisinart 630-30 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Round Grill Pan

Cuisinart 630-30 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Round Grill PanI love this pan!As someone who truly enjoys cooking, I have several types of 'skillets;' cast iron, non stick annodized, and enameled cast iron. Each has its particular talents in the kitchen.

I wanted a grill pan. After doing some research, I decided on this Cuisinart for two reasons:reputation and weight.I was also lucky to find it at a time when special pricing was featured.

The weight issue is important for me as I have lung disease that fatigues me rather quickly. This pan is managable! But of course, the object of buying it was grilling. I have done steaks, chicken, pork and salmon in this pan, and it conducts heat beautifully. The initial sear is exquisite. It is the grill pan for which I was hoping, and I could not be more pleased.

My main reason for purchasing a grill pan was for things like tuna steak and grilled vegetables. I don't eat greasy foods, so I'm not so concerned about draining off fat, but more interested in dry-cooking and blackening.Although a big, heavy cast iron pan is best for this purpose, I didn't want to lift anything that heavy all the time.

This pan really works well for what I need. So well that I find I use it for EVERYTHING, EVERY DAY, not just for grilling! It has replaced my other non-stick fry pans for all purposes.

Pros: Incredible cleanup--much better than my Calphalon non-stick pans. Handle is longer and does not get as hot as Calphalon, so you can actually pick it up without a potholder.Pan is very light, considering its size--it's HUGE!(see cons).

Cons: It's light in weight. If you are looking for something heavy this is not it--get a cast iron. For me, this is a plus. Also, I wish I had looked further and gotten the 10-inch.I have an electric stove and my burners are not big enough for the 12-inch pan. I still use it but move it off the burner a little.I recommend the 10-inch to get better use of the heat if you have electric.

Bottom line:I would buy this pan again, but probably the 10-inch.

I've only used this pan a handful of times maybe less than 10 times for steaks and burgers. The nonstick part of one side of the pan is already partially showing the metal part of the pan. It's the outer part of the pan that's coming off which I don't scrub hard when I'm cleaning it. I would even normally soak my pans for a few hours to ease up the cleaning. I would expect the center part to come off if anything from the scrubbing. I just use a regular sponge pad that's normally used for dishes. I must have gotten a defective one.

I'm already beyond amazon's return policy so my only option is to return it to cuisinart. I called cuisinart and they said that I have to ship this pan to them so they can look at the item. I also have to send a $7 check for shipping costs to mail the replacement item if they think it's a manufacturer's defect. Otherwise they'll just return the old pan. I don't know if I want to waste any more time and money with this pan.

All-Clad Stainless 8-Inch Fry Pan

All-Clad Stainless 8-Inch Fry PanAfter getting the 10-inch version of this pan, I found a great deal on the 8-inch pan and picked it up for smaller jobs in the kitchen. This was a great decision.

8 inches *is* small for a lot of cooking and this shouldn't be your primary fry pan but it is great for doing smaller jobs on the side or for cooking up things for one or two people.I use this guy for eggs, meat and more. The pan heats really evenly and feels great in my hand. The handle does a great job of dispersing heat and staying cool, too. And, though it doesn't come with a lid, the medium lid from the All Clad pots fit it well.

When things do stick, I don't worry about attacking it and scratching off the surface.I can use a scraper, sponge, or scouring pad without any problems.Metal can be used but it is more likely to scratch. And it is safe in the dishwasher although I recommend handwashing as much as possible.

Some cooking tips I learned with this type of pan:Use a lower heat, not because you have to (like with non-stick), but because it heats so evenly, you often don't need that higher temperature. Also when you throw something in, whether you are using butter, oil, a spray, or nothing, let it sit and cook a bit before you try to move it around.Hamburger, for example, will adhere to the pan at first and if you try stirring it up right away, small pieces will be stuck and are more likely to burn.Rather, wait until it has a minute or two to cook on that side. The parts that adhere will cook, separate and lift away from the pan so you can stir it easier. And when you are done, if there is any food stuck to the pan, put some water in it and let it boil for a few minutes. This will help lift it off and make cleaning easier.

Again, a great pan, a great brand, and definitely worth the money since it will last you a lifetime with the warranty they give you.

This small frypan is my main item. I cook for myself only (usually) and if anyone out there wants to try out the All-Clad line of cookware, this is the one to start with. Once you do, you, as I, will want to expand your collection of this superior product. You can get messy with it; you can make a mistake & have the heat too high, you can even leave it in the sink uncleaned for a day or two.....it will still clean up easily and look brand new. As stated in the ads, the handles really do stay cool; that's a nice change of pace! Not to mention the fact that the company is still in business; the lifetime guarantee really means something! Did I forget to say that this cookware is simply "beautiful?"

I thoroughly enjoy these 8" frypans. I own TWO.My husband likes 'sunny-side-up' eggs and I prefer lighly scrambled.I prepare both pans by melting very small amounts of equal parts oil (oil keeps the butter from burning & butter (butter gives the eggs a nice flavor) . While his eggs are frying, I am scrambling mine.Clean up is easy. While we have our breakfast the pans are soaking in soapy water, and by the time we are finished and clearing the table the pans are ready for washing.Cooked egg slips off easily, pan is shiny, and I am happy. Preparing a non-stick pan before cooking is key, and when it's done properly the pan behaves as a non-stick.

Clipper 215-00040 4-Cup Measuring Cup

Clipper 215-00040 4-Cup Measuring CupGood looking 4 cup measuring cup. Exactly as described and pictured. Easy to read measuring lines and looks to suit it's purpose. If using other than in the kitchen, not quite certain how durable it may be if you happen to drop on ceramic or cement floors. Nice silicone handle cover to boot. As long as your careful with handling, I'm certain it will hold up just fine. Description indicates freezer and dishwasher safe but, NON MICROWAVABLE(which isn't indicated). Then again, not quite certain if there may be a plastic measuring cup which would withstand a microwave(If intended for microwave use, a glass measuring cup would be a wiser investment). Measuring points appear to be accurate, if not, as close to accurate as possible. Only time will tell if the measuring points will rub off or not(after repeated washings). Nevertheless, I consider these minor details and not worth knocking off a star for. So, IMO this one gets 5 stars. Certainly well worth the price. It will suit my needs for both liquid and dry measure quite well. Would recommend!

Look better than in picture , for the price, it is a good M-Cup , the sturdy acrylic is slight tinted in blue , looks like a glass , really like it , I got 2 of them because of lower budged at this moment and wow , I like to be surprised like that !

Nordic Ware Divided Skillet Omelet Pan & Poacher

Nordic Ware Divided Skillet Omelet Pan & PoacherThe description fails to note a warning contained on the back of the product's label regarding glass/ceramic cooktops; "Use of high or even medium high heat will damage this pan and your stovetop."

The description states, "The pan's heavyweight construction".Actually the pan is made of very thin, lightweight aluminium. This explains how the pan can be damaged by medium high heat I guess.

Yes, I'm aggravated by the omission and false statement. It might show.

I returned mine.

This has proved to be just what I needed. I have an older Antionette Pope Cookbook (1954)which features a recipe for a fluffy omelet. The recipe requires a divided pan. This pan is ideal for that recipe and works perfectly. The egg poaching insert works well too. I bought this pan specifically for this recipe and couldn't be more pleased. My family loves the omelets the pan (and I)are able to produce. E-mail me and I will share the recipe(...). Then you'll be able to appreciate the beauty of this cookware.

The pan worked as advertised. The metal is thin so be careful about over heating. A thin pan helps when cooking an omelet. A heavy pan will overcook.

Love the flip over design... Well made and works great. Be sure to use wooden tools as not to scratch it...

The added bonus of the egg cooker is very nice. As eggs are the best foods you can eat, I eat a lot of eggs...

I hand wash the pan.

I bought this to replace an omelet pan that was at least 30 years old.The handle finally broke off after decades of service and left me in search of a replacement.I found this, bought it, and have been dissatisfied ever since. It is NOT a heavy duty pan (very thin in fact), NOT coated in durable non-stick material (peeling after perhaps 6-10 uses and very sticky even with butter or cooking spray applied liberally) and certainly doesn't cook evenly (burns by the hinge and remains raw at the outside). The search for a suitable replacement for my trusty old pan continues.

This pan is cheaply made and everything sticks.I went to QVC and bought a great omelet pan item #K6518 and what a difference! It's not a divided pan but makes great eggs!

Winware Commercial Grade Aluminum Fry Pans

Winware 14 Inch Aluminum Fry Pan with Silicone SleeveThis is absolutely the best pan I've ever purchased. This is a heavy-duty, restaurant quality fry pan that exceeded my expectations. Scrambled eggs even rolled right out without sticking. I will be ordering the 12" soon.

Bought it in December and I'm still using it about once a week. Love the handle and very easy to clean.

This is a very nice pan The only problem I had with it was under the sticker in the bottom cooking portion of the pan, there was a very small blemish/hole/indent in it. It has not harmed the way the pan cooks. I am sure this is a fluke in the manufacturing. The silicone sleeve is great.

Ok, so most of you will be smart enough to realize that a 14" pan is huge, I however was not as wise.So i have a 12" and i thought "hey a 14" would be nice sometimes when pan frying something larger" and its only a 2 more inches so thats not bad... what I failed to account for was that the 14" is the base, the sloped sides add even more. The handle on this bad boy is huge, not the same scale as in the picture. It is very hard fitting this in standard cabinetry. It is a great pan though, I have transitioned to using it for things that are going under the broiler as it works well in that application and the handle is long enough to extend beyond the oven door and stay cool.I wish the initial had been of the 14" so i could have at least had some warning of how long that handle is.The silicone at the end of the handle is awesome. I would not hesitate to buy the other pans in this line but for me the 14" was a bad fit. Also a quick word on cleaning, this pan is aluminum and will require that you use a little oil/butter to cook and allow it to be cleaned easily, it can get some staining caused by burned oil but this is easily removed using 'Bar Keepers Friend'.
