All-Clad LTD 12-Inch Round Nonstick Grille Pan

I am not a big fan of the All Clad LTD line but I do love this pan.I much prefer the All Clad polished stainless steel line (I have almost every piece and love it). This grill is a perfect size for grilling for 1-4 people.I debated on the grande size, I decided that since I don't grill everyday it didn't make sense to spend the extra money and deal with storing the larger size.Also, I selected the round style over the square, my stove burners are round so I figured that the round style made more sense for me.

I often marinade chicken tenders in Emeril Lagasse's marinade (he has several different marinades that you can find in your local supermarket) a day in advance and heat up this pan and toss on the chicken.I usually make a veggie or two and some rice, it is a very quick and easy dinner and is also very healthy!You can also use this pan for everything from burgers to a tuna steak.

This pan is not dishwasher safe due to the nonstick surface, but don't worry it is a breeze to clean.I have the George Foreman grill that has been sitting in the cabinet collecting dust since I bought this pan.I don't like the George Foreman grill because you can't really wash the grill surface very well.The grill surface should be removable so you can really clean it.This pan is very, very well made and is backed by a lifetime warranty.Sometimes this pan is sold as a special..., if you see it grab it.It is a steal at that price.Once you try All Clad you will be hooked too! Highly recommended! A+!

I've been using grill pans for years and have bought many brands.This is the best one, hands-down.I gave away all five of the others I owned after the first time I used this pan.I love All Clad cookware in general and this is my first non-stick.The results are so superior to any other grill pan I recommend it to everyone.If you want healthy and perfectly prepared grilled food, whether it's fish, meat or vegetables, without a drop of added fat, this pan is for you.Buy it.

I'm a big fan of All-Clad and have a lot of All-Clad LTD and MasterChef pots and pans.I feel All-Clad has a great design methodology and makes great quality gear.Also, their non-stick coating is the best in the business.This grill pan, however, isn't actually clad the secret of its low price.It's made from a single piece of anodized aluminum like a Calphalon pan as a brief examination of the edge reveals.The beefy handle is the most All-Clad thing about it.The nonstick coating isn't the usual All-Clad type either although it certainly is top quality.As a grill pan, this one is very good that's not the problem.

Grill pans make grill marks on your food but are no substitute for actually grilling.There's no smoke flavor or high heat caramelization.The only thing the grill pan gives you is the sear marks.To that end, the nonstick surface fights you.Metal gives much better sear marks than nonstick coatings.In order to get a nonstick pan to give good sear you must really crank the heat up.This makes a lot of smoke which make a good lid a necessity.Sadly, this pan doesn't include a lid.I found that the Calphalon 12" "Everyday" pan's lid is a perfect fit by coincidence so I use it every time.

I have the luxury of a grill outside my kitchen door.I'm the kind of hardy soul who has no problem stepping out in the snow in shirtsleeves to flip the steaks.I find all grill pans to be a very poor substitute to actually grilling.Maybe if I lived in the city and couldn't grill as easily I'd be more enamored of this pan.As it is, I mainly use it under duress (such as during bad rain storms when I reluctantly must grill indoors).

I recently tossed a Calphalon grill pan in the trash after I could not clean it after use. Looking for another grill pan to replace it, I found this gem. I don't know how Amamzon can offer this high quality pan for this price, but grab it. Wonderful heat distribution, very large cook surface and NOTHING sticks!!

I could not believe that I found this pan at this price.I was further astounded when I received it and started cooking on it.It is absolutely fabulous.NY Strip streak comes out truly delicious when you simply sprinkle some salt and cracked pepper on it and then throw it on the grill pan.Also works great for bacon.Also works great for burgers.Also works great for...anything you could think of.For cleaning, I recommend immediately filling it with water after taking the food out, enough to cover all the bottom, and then let it sit til after dinner and you start doing the dishes.If you do this, then I recommend an OXO brush (ASIN B0000CFQOB) with nylon bristles.Gently brush between the grooves to loosen the remaining material and then use a sponge.I recommend the nylon brush because it is hard to get a sponge to get every bit of remaining material along the grooves.But overall this is incredibly easy to clean and even easier to cook on.I still cannot believe I paid only fifty for this item.

I found that tomatoes ruin Teflon frying pans and read about Teflon being bad for you, so I thought I'd give this pan a go.

Looks nice, very durable, very heavy, very good for cooking tomatoes, very not non-stick.

Maybe there is a way of not getting the eggs to stick but I found regardless of how much fat is in the pan, the eggs still stick.

If you only have screws to use for mounting this, you'll have trouble. It comes with none, and the mounting method is the same as a small picture, just a triangular hook. If you put anything of weight on this you'd want to use a decent sized screw which you can't since you'd need a small screw head to get the triangle over it. Personally, I had hercules hooks, which worked fine. The rack itself is perfectly functions and find looking.

Cuisinart GG45-25 GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch by 18-Inch Double-Burner Griddle

This griddle is exactly what I was looking for it heats evenly, it's lightweight, it fits exactly over two burners, and it's got a cutout on one corner to pour out the grease. The ceramic cooking surface is very non-stick and stays that way over time. Do not use non-stick sprays (not that you need them), as they will leave a residue over time that's impossible to clean up. Using only a small amount of butter or oil, all of my Green Gourmet pans are as clean and non-stick as they were when I bought them. Cuisinart says they're dishwasher safe, but I've never seen the need to do so; they've never needed more than a few wipes with a soapy sponge to get completely clean.

Excellent quality griddle and one of few that works well with ceramic stove top...recommend to other ceramic stove top users...these are hard to come by.

No fan of teflon, we got a small saute pan of this brand and loved it. The grill is a bit of an investment, so we wanted to try out the coating first which is amazing. Cuisinart has managed to make a non-stick (truly, it's NO stick) coating that holds up to utensils, higher heat, and the stickiest of foods without missing a beat. Love the coating!! The grill fits across two burners, and because of the base materials, maintains an even heat without significant a gap between them. We've cooked eggs without butter, grilled sandwiches, made pancakes, and even melted grated cheese, and everything slips easily away. The raised edge is nice too, in case you did want to add oil/butter/grease, and the corner spout makes it easy to get rid of.

A+ to Cuisinart!

I had such high hopes for this product after reading the largely positive reviews.I would give it one star, but I'm going to give it two *just* in case I was committing some sort of user error.

I bought the griddle to use with pancakes and little else.I'm on a fat-restricted diet.Having read online that cooking sprays gunked up cooking surfaces due to the lecithin they contain, I used only oil.My technique was to use about 1/4 teaspoon on a hot griddle, then spread it around using a silicone spatula.This worked for about two weeks.During that time I used the griddle on nothing more than medium heat, washed it with a sponge and water (sometimes soapy, sometimes not).Despite this, a residue began to build up.As it did, the non-stick properties deteriorated.The last time I used it the sticking was awful.My attempts to flip a pancake failed completely, with the pancake accordioning as I pushed the spatula against its unyielding underside.

That's not all.The last time this thing failed, I was careful to pour the pancake batter on the two circular surfaces of the griddle that had seen the least buildup.No dice.Accordioned pancakes.

By way of comparison, I have a Calphalon skillet.It stuck some when I used no oil whatsoever; however when I used the technique described above, it performed flawlessly.It's a few months older than the griddle and has to date seen more use than the griddle.But, as I said, it performs flawlessly with just a touch of oil.

And finally, if memory serves, the instructions on the griddle's packing box indicated that one should season it by the common technique of oiling then baking it.I have little experience with these things, but is it really true that you're supposed to seaason non-stick cookware?

In sum, this would have received one star, except I'm doubling the score to two to allow for the possibility that I'm doing something wrong.But inasmuch as I have Calphalon whose performance is vastly superior using the same care and maintenance techniques---well you be the judge.

Garcima 14-Inch All-Purpose Pan Lid, 36cm

The only thing I like about this product is that is fits (barely) the 14" pan I bought it for.Otherwise it was expensive compared to its quality.It easily bends out of shape if not stored flat, and when it's stored flat it takes up a good amount of cabinet space.I do not recommend this product unless you're desperate for a lid to fit a 14" frying pan.

This is one of the cheapest item I have ever seen. It was wrapped so tight that by the time I got it open, the lid was all bent up. Was completely disappointed with this purchase. Should have been in a dollar bin. Should not have cost upward of 10 dollars, no less shipping on top. WOW

This lid is extremely light, to the point that it will bend easily in your fingers.I'd say about 4x as heavy as Reynolds heavy foil. If more, not by much.It also has vents all the way around in a ring about 6" diameter.I'm a little concerned about stuff running down the lid as it vents out and condenses there.It also has no rim inside to allow the majority of drips to fall into the pan.All said, I'm not thrilled.I'm not sure where I'm going to keep this where it will be safe from being bent.I guess the upside to this is that it is so light I'll be able to put my own lip inside it for the drips.

Do not buy this product. It is basically a round piece of aluminum foil costing seventeen dollars. It bends in your fingers. It bends under its own weight. It bends when it bumps against items in your kitchen cupboard. It bends in the dishwasher. It cannot be flattened again without looking like a crumpled piece of foil. It is a single use product. If it cost 99 cents, there would be a market for it I expect: you'd buy them six at a time or something. Well, I wouldn't, but somebody would. As it is, at seventeen dollars, it is a proverbially criminal rip-off.

I bought this lid to cover a large (14 inch diameter) frying pan. The lid is lightweight and works for this size pan as well as for a smaller one. I do have a significant complaint, which is that the lid has too many steam vents. i can't steam an item without adding a lot of liquid, far more than if I were to simply cock the lid, which is my usual method of venting steam while cooking.

There's not much to the Lid Maid just a long plastic box with a divider running down the middle, which slides on a track.For us, however, it was a godsend.I installed the lid organizer alongside a Rubbermaid slide-out plastic bin.Miraculously, I managed to squeeze all but the largest lids into the organizer.Now, instead of digging through a pile of containers looking for the right size and a lid to match, then frantically shoving everything back in and trying to close the door before the avalanche began, we just pull out the container bin, select one, and then pull out the Lid Maid to find its lid.Truly a beautiful thing.

The construction isn't super-sturdy, but it does the job.Installation was simple just a couple of screws.We've been using it for most of a year and haven't had any trouble with the sliding mechanism, nor does it show signs of wear.

I returned this lid rack after discovering that it was too deep for my old school custom cabinets. Seemed like it would work good though for normal depth cabinets. Make sure you verify the depth before you buy!

This looks simple & convenient but it was a nightmare to install & it still doesn't work properly.The instructions are vague & installing the unit in a bottom cupboard took almost an hour (installing in an upper cabinet makes the contents hard to see & retrieve).For us, the unit's capacity (4 lids) and the shipping cost (about 50% of the price) made this purchase a waste of time & money.

I bought this because my teenager wanted me to get the orange cookware, I usually got T-Fal, which never seems to hold up so decided to try something new. We had this for 2 years and I still love them. The inside are still great looking. The grips are very nice and secure and they look great too. The coating is slippery and nothing has stuck to them yet. They clean up very easily. I am very pleased with this set and would buy again!I actually about to buy another set so I can get rid of my old T-Fal. This has been a wonderful purchase and well worth my money. This skillet is quite large and excellent quality materials. The skillet is larger than I expected to be of practical use as it is humongous! One should view this skillet in person before purchasing because it dwarfs the size of the largest burner and will rarely get any use. Consider a 11" skillet as the largest suitable skillet for practical use, even for a family of 8 or 10 people. I will still keep my new 12" skillet because I like the lid which fits fine over my 11" skillet that did not come with a cover. I believe it is a Mirro brand. I would NOT recommend this skillet because it is just TOO BIG to be of practical use for even the largest of families. Just being honest, so please look at this skillet before buying or it will just be sitting on your shelf.

Cuisinart 755-26GD Chef's Classic Stainless 5-1/2-Quart Multi-Purpose Pot with Glass Cover

I could not tell from the product image but the pot is actually very shiny both inside and out. (I thought it had frosted outer surface.) It is also a very light-weight pot.

I am using it to cook soup, rice, stew, etc. and it just works perfect. As it is stated in the product features, this pot heats very quickly and it is easy to clean. To my surprise, the product package had a pitcture of Lidia Bastianich (my favorite Italian cooking show hostess), meaning she recommends it too.

Lastly, the price was good so I am very happy with this pot!

There are tons of wears from 3 years daily use but it is just doing great.

Where has this pan been all my life?Easy to clean (dishwasher safe also) ..heats up quickly and evenly..lid is just the right weight and is glass so you can watch what you are cooking...Great size for just about anything.I have made everything from a potfull of jambalya to corn on the cob and this pan has made me look like I know what I am doing.

Ok, I use this pan to make the most divine goat milk fudge from scratch, on a glass top stove...not an easy feat for sure. A decadently smooth batch with perfect set is all about the pan, even temperatures, and lots of stirring. (Lots and lots of Stirring!)

I have tried quite a few stainless steel pots/pans; some very expensive some mid-range, and none have produced results as nice as this pan.

Firstthis pan's curved sides and attachment angle to the bottom make for easier stirring with less hand fatigue and also eliminates small missed stir area edges like on straight sided pans. This is important because sugar crystal buildup happens where your spoon tip can't reach or get into on every stir swipe and the crystals ruin the smoothness of the fudge.

Secondthe bottom heats completely even (on my stove anyway) and distributes the heat up the sides evenly too. Just as important, once removed from the heating element the pan cools quicker than other pans and this makes for better incorporation of added ingredients with a thicker set up.

This pan is light and has a very smooth bottom. The brand name imprint on the bottom doesn't affect the smoothness, like on other stainless steel pans. As I'm stirring in one direction, I can easily spin the pan in the opposite direction on my glass top. It's balanced well, stays in place while I'm doing this, and glides effortlessly.

Yeah, I know... not supposed to spin or slide pans on glass cook tops and normally I don't.

ThirdBecause of the lighter weight of this pan, as compared to other stainless steel, it's easier to pour the fudge out into the awaiting pans. This is never an easy thing to do, but the pan's lighter weight is helpful, especially with a large batch of fudge. The tapered rim also helps for a smooth pour.

Fourthit cleans up like a dream.

If you're worried about the unusual shape being a problem, forget about it.Any concern I had about the non-vertical sides making this pot tippy proved unfounded.it's as good at boiling pasta as it is simmering soup.I have, however, noticed small spots forming on the bottom (inside) of the pot.These could not be removed with barkeeper's friend.They're very small and I'm not too worried about it.But I know other reviewers have noted it and returned the item.

It looks beautiful sitting on my stovetop and it performs well enough but I was a bit disappointed by how thin the sides are.I had read this criticism from other reviewers but the price was good ($25) so I bought it and I'm happy with it.For the price, a good pot, but if you are used to Calphalon or the other pricier brands, you'll be disappointed. I have a KitchenAid set with gray silicone handles that is much heavier and thicker steel.A reviewer said it would be easy to burn food but, as with all stainless steel, you HAVE to lower the heat.I haven't burnt anything.

UPDATE:it is now March 2010 and I have really enjoyed this pot.I find I use it a lot.because of it's size, it has become my go-to pot.It still looks shiny and new. I have no complaints and will even add another star making it 4 stars.

Cuisinart 719-16 Chef's Classic Stainless 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with Cover

This is a good-sized pan.It comes with a nice lid that seals if desired (using steam to form the seal).

It heats evenly, and stays very warm even after sitting away from the burner for a while.

The quality of the stainless steel is great and the pot is easy to clean in that it is stainless steel.

But, it does have its flaws.The negatives have to do with the rivets, especially on the lid, which are large to the point of absurdity, especially for a pan of this size.I was raised with riveted pots and pans, and the rivets were never an intrusion back then.

The lid's rivets make it more difficult to clean.The way they're attached on the outside is sloppy, and unnecessarily bulky.They stick up, and catch on sponges and cloths.This irritates me no end.

This is not a cruel and unusual complaint, but a statement of fact.I am surprised that a company like Cuisinart would be so careless in design.I own another item from a different line of theirs, the Everyday line, and it's the best pot I've ever owned, and that includes my Le Creuset ware.

If it were the only pot available in this size and quality of material, I would buy it again...just because it's hard to find a one and a half-quart saucepan with a lid, for some unknown reason.There are myriad one-quart pans available all over the place.

The price is fabulous!Really fabulous!

Postscript to this comment: I use this saucepan nearly daily.I actually have come to like it very much.If I could rate it again, it would get a four.If it weren't for the annoying rivets, it would be a five star item.The overall quality is unquestionably excellent.

Cuisinart Classic Stainless is the next best thing to All-Clad that you can get according to Cook's Illustrated (makers of the PBS show America's Test Kitchen). They're very beautiful, shiny, heavy, and best of all---they perform wonderfully. They hold a simmer very well, and my food doesn't burn.

Most of the Cuisinart Classic Stainless pots and pans go for WELL OVER $100 EACH at stores like Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well as Linens 'n Things. Buy these at Amazon! I was delighted to see most prices from Amazon were between $20-40 instead of $120-150 at the other stores. Then consider no tax, no shipping costs.... what a bargain!

I have just about every piece in this line and I love it..the pans all cook evenly and with less heat than any other cookware I've used. Keeping it shiny and beautiful is easy..just follow the instructions that come with it. A little bit of white vinegar after washing keeps it sparkling. I don't have a dishwasher and it's easy to clean. The ONLY drawback is that you have to use a towel of pot holder to lift the lid when they're on the stovetop because they get hot. I've recommended it to friends and they love it, too. You can go from stove to oventop. It's very versatile. Buy it! You can't beat this price.

I'm really glad to have replaced my non-stick with the Cuisinart pans. I have been increasingly concerned about the safety of non-stick. I was really scared that they would stick and I would have to scrub them, but they've been really good so far. I'm not crazy about the hazy look that the bottoms get inside, but I know it's because I cook on med-high heat and I need to get some Barkeeper's friend. Overall, really pleased with this purchase, and I'm still adding to my set.

Like the Chef's Classic set I'd bought from Cuisinart through amazon.com, this is a BEAUTIFULLY made piece of cookware with a snug-fitting lid. The bottom is thicker than the walls. It's so beautiful out of the box you hate to use it! But when you get around to breaking it in, you'll find that the heat transfer is fast and EVEN. The snug-fitting lid is a genuine delight, after a lifetime of using crappy cookware I realize what I've been missing. If you love to cook, this saucepan will put a BIG smile on your face! I haven't used it yet but your measurements are off you said it was 14 by 7 by 3 1/2 but it is only a 10 in by 3 1/2.I will keep it cause I really like the deeper pan but It is not a 14 inch around pan.

It cooks evenly and is so easy to stir-fry vegetables and everything else because the size is large and the sides of the pan are high so your food doesn't flip out of the pan. Nothing sticks and the food slides around easily.Clean-up is easy because nothing sticks.

I really do love it and want to change all of my cookware to this product.

I wish Wear Ever would also make a much larger fry pan, and I mean very large.I'd buy it immediately.(Would someone please tell Wear Ever for me?)

The quality is fantastic.It's not like the "Green" pans that only have a thin, painted-on coating of ceramic that wears off in two months.There is an actual, full layer of ceramic over the metal.Then another coating over that.

I've used it once, and I'm very pleased.I'm trying to avoid using anything aluminum.I've read that aluminum can cause, or at least contribute to, Alzheimers.So, I tried to find a pan that is NOT aluminum.That is not easy.They all seem to have it, at least the non-stick ones.I found this ceramic coated one, and it is really non-stick.The food slides right off of it. It's very easy to clean.On a side note, I also bought Orgreenic pans, and I am not happy with them.The first few times I used them, they were great.Now, after several uses, the food sticks to them just like any other cheap pans.

Actually, it should be 4 1/2 starts to start.Some things I noticed with the pan.The first time you heat it the pan there was some off-gassing that does affect the flavor of the first couple of things you cook.I performed the seasoning as the as instructed and have only washed via soap and water.I have cooked eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, and various other meals with NO OIL!well the grilled cheese had margarine on the bread ...You do not need oil, and the cooking is odd because things boil/cook because of heat instead of frying because of oil.While odd, still very tasty!Another thing, these pans need very little heat to cook.They distribute heat very evenly and rapidly, if you cook on too high of heat it will burn, possibly stick food to the pan.I cook with gas and the flame is med to med low about 1" from the pan.Cleanup couldn't be easier, no staining evident after cooking multiple tomato sauce dishes as well.I'll update after a few months.

We moved from teflon to stainless and worried that it would be hard to keep food from sticking.Definitely not a problem.

Edit: I should have added that it is extremely important that you pre-heat stainless steel cookware before you add food to the pan.If you toss the food into a cold pan and then heat it, the food WILL stick.You must heat up the pan first.

This saute pan is perfect for making delicious sauces.

The heat is distributed evenly without "hot spots". The handles stay warm. I haven't had the handles get too hot for me yet and I've been using this pan for weeks.

The lid is tempered glass and it's perfect for keeping an eye on your cooking.

It is great, sturdy, durable construction and washes very easily.

I am very, very pleased with it all around.

Berghoff Earthchef Acadian 8-Inch Non-Stick Fry Pan

Make sure that you DO NOT EVER use any non-stick cooking spray on these pans. One use will completely ruin the non-stick qualities. I think that these pans are pretty good but we sprayed the non-stick on one and now it's covered in burnt marks and stains that will not come off and the non-stick doesn't work anymore. But even the one that we did not spray the non-stick on has some sticky stains at the top edges that we can't really get off. Kinda wish I'd just gotten a cheap eco-pan from Bed Bath and Beyond since I'm not sure that these were worth the price. They do work fairly well as a non-stick but like I said one of ours is not washing clean now even though we never used cooking spray on it and it should still wipe clean...

I was getting so frustrated with non stick coatings in the fry pans constantly scratching and becoming unhealthy. I discovered this pan by accident while watching a morniing news show. I love how it washes up so easily. The non stick surface is just that not a coating. And one last thing I love how it cooks eggs whether scrambled or fried. I highly recommend this pan.

This skillet is truly the best.Such great quality.I love it.I would like to purchase a set from this company.I will as soon as I can.Just want to say that it cooks food superbly well and if you leave it on the heat like I have done, it withstands the heat and you can still use it.You just wash it and begin again.Great for small servings if you are trying to watch your weight or serving size.It truly will not let you go over the required amount.
