Universal Housewares Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 3 Piece Skillet Set

Universal Housewares Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 3 Piece Skillet SetThese are great for a single person but would be a waste for a family. I have to get use to these again. My son cooked bacon in one and it was sticking really bad. I know there are tricks to using cast iron, so I'll start doing some research to get back in the old groove. I love cast iron and these smaller pans are good for just me. If you are planning to purchase these, please note they are all really small. The little one would fry one egg, the middle one would do pancakes or tortillas and the largest one is good for bacon or a couple of pork chops. That should give you an idea of how big they are. Hope this helps.

I got these yesterday, and they were what I expected-really small, kinda small and medium. I'm not sure why others have complained about the sizes when they're stated clearly, but you need smaller pans for various reasons and these fit the bill. After rinsing, I used the middle one to saute some ham and cheeses for sandwiches as a testI mean, what doesn't ham stick to? But the pan worked perfectly, nothing stuck, and cleanup was easy with water and a brush.

So these are smaller utensils for special purposes, and from what i've seen are well done. I expect I'll use them for quite a few years, and if cooking doesn't become a thing of the past, my grandkids will still be using them long after. Iron tools are great in general and these are a good addition to my kitchen.

[Two weeks later] Having used these several times, now, I'm still satisfied with the purchase. The seasoning on one turned out to be a little thin and let some of the metal show through on the high spots, but it's not a big deal and hasn't affected the performance of the pan. I've been very pleased with how easy they are to clean, and they're so much better than lighter pans for sauteing and searing-I use an electric range, and the extra mass of these pans stores enough energy that the temperatures are much better controlled, and cooking is a lot more fun as a result. I'd make the purchase again without reservation.

Good quality skillets.I rate them just as good as the Lodge skillets I own.Best bargain for a 3 piece set hands down.

These are very basic skillets. No fancy handles, just simple pre-seasoned skillets.I bought one other cheap skillet (Stansport Cast Iron 8 Inch Fry Pan) that I returned because it was actually crappy. I didn't know that was possible; skillets are so simple.

The sizes on these are good too. I use the small one for small ingredient prep before adding it to soup, the medium one for frying toast, and the large one for small dishes. I also own a 12" which is the size I use the most so I bought it years ago.

Farberware Nonstick Aluminum 3-Piece Skillet Set

Farberware Nonstick Aluminum 3-Piece Nonstick Skillet Set, CharcoalThese pans are not worthy of the Farberware name, unfortunately...They are far too thin -this leads to burnt food, warping, etc. The Teflon coating is the el-cheapo kind, a far cry from the superior coating you find on Farberware's upper-end Millenium models...

These pans do not deserve the Farberware name. The thin metal will torch your food if you are not careful, and the cheap nonstick material will not last long. This gets two stars because of the low, low price.

Do yourself a favor, and instead buy one quality Calphalon Commercial Nonstick pan on sale. They aren't that much more than this set, if you look hard enough, and they last forever.

I ordered the three pack "First Course" set, supposedly a heavyweight Farberware product as I've seen in stores.I received a light weight, flimsy product called "Cook'n Ease" that was so thin you could easily burn food and warp the pan in no time.Very disappointed.

Very lightweight, I don't know if that is good or bad. Judging the product based on its appearance I expected more. My empty 12 cup coffee maker weighs more than these three pans combined.

They do let you cook in them without anything sticking. Simply put, you get three basic fry pans to use without fear of losing major income if they get ruined. As with most nonstick, don't use high heat as the manufacturer indicates.

Very thin..handles get very hot... coating was bubbling and flaking off after the first grilled cheese sandwich. I paid under 3$ after a rebate... and you get what you pay for. These shouldn't have the farberware name on them. they are to good a brand to put out such a shabby product.

Jamie Oliver by T-fal C9423364 Nonstick Hard Anodized Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator 4.45-Quart Deep Saute Pan / Fry Pan Cookware, BlackI'm really enjoying using this pan.I love how it cooks so well and evenly, even with a medium setting.I cooked salmon the other evening and it turned out beautifully.I look forward to cooking plenty of meals in this pan. It's sturdy and it is easy to clean.I also love having a clear glass cover for it and extra handle on the pan so it can be lifted with both hands. That is very helpful for us cooks who have arthritis.

Bought a setplus this and another for my daughter in law. Love them. Absolutely nothing bad to say. I wish they made another fry pan just a little larger than this one, I'd buy it too

Purchased the T-Fal pan to replace an older T-Fal pan. I wanted a pan which had smaller diameter that would fit/cover the large burner on our electric cooktop. The pan fits perfectly. Heats up rapidly and maintains constant heat. The large handle and auxilliary front handle are great when cooking/serving large dishes such as beef stew, cabbage and sausage and preparing any large dish. The glass dome cover contains moisture from cooking while venting enough steam to prevent overcooking. My only negative comment would be that the cover handle is small and you can burn yourself . Other than this the oan is a winner!

I bought this to go with a set of 12 I believe of almost identical pans. I thought this was about the only thing I thought the set needed to make it complete for my kitchen. I cook a lot of large meals so there's leftovers to make other nights easy. And what can I say except this pan is perfect! I couldn't be happier. The size is great for my needs. The second handle is very useful because of course if I'm cooking a lot of food in it it will be heavy so using both handles to pick it up adds more stability. Nothing sticks in it and it's very easy to clean. I think this pan would make a great addition to anyone's kitchen.

Be warned...the flat cooking surface is only 8 inches...too small for making pancakes and grilled cheese for the kids as had hoped.Good size if you are only cooking for one.Nice skillet otherwise.

The shape of this pan is excellent. I had been looking for square flat bottom pan to replace an older Wenger that has been in the family. This one seemed like a winner. It is not a bad pan, but has two issues.

1. It does not hold seasoning well.Even after high heat lard seasoning the seasoning did not last very long.I only cook breakfast foods and sandwiches in it, nothing acidic.

2. The size is deceptive in a bad way.It does not hold four sandwiches at once like the smaller, less flared pan I used to use.It also has trouble with full strips of bacon.

I really wanted to give this pan more stars as it performs very well, but the above items are annoying enough to merit the loss of stars.

I like the product very much and it is basically as described.I will say that I didn't realize it would require more seasoning. That is probably reasonable; I just didn't know it.It arrived quickly and am really enjoying using it, but I think it will take time to achieve the slick patina a well-seasoned skillet has.

Paula Deen Signature Porcelain Nonstick 8-Inch Skillet, Red Speckle

Paula Deen Signature Porcelain Nonstick 8-Inch Skillet, Red SpeckleThis is my third purchase from this line... they are all beautiully crafted and truly non-stick. My only complaint on this one is that it was smaller than I expected. Yes, the diameter is 8" rim to rim... actual cooking surface is closer to 6". I just wish that info would be listed in the online description.

Bought this pan a year ago. I am not the brightest bulb so I cleaned the pan in the dishwasher. Use it almost every day and nothing has ever stuck to this puppy! When I got this pan I also got a cheaper no name pan from Target. That pan lasted all of 3 months before we had to throw it out.

This was a replacement pan for a pretty beat up one I'd had for years.I chose this purchase because I have her Tea Kettle in the same finish and color and have been extremely happy with it.I find that the pan heats evenly, does not scratch smooth top stove surfaces and is a breeze to clean.I really like that the handle is contoured and is coated in silicone. As I suffered from strength lose in my left hand, itmakes it easy to hold and its lightweight too.I plan on continuing to purchase as I replace my set, pan at a time!

Berndes Coquere Induction Skillets

Berndes Coquere Induction 8-Inch Open SkilletWow, this is so handy to fry an egg in, saute small amounts of ingredients in etc.It just wipes out with a damp cloth and ready to cook something else in that is small of course.I would definitely buy it again that is for certain.I also picked up a Berndes glass lid with stainless steel knob which is handy to use with it also.

We have a coupld of other Berndes Coquere Induction pans and they are great. The cheapo pan from IKEA wore out (the non-stick).The non-stick on these pans is TOUGH and comes with a five year no-excuses warranty against chiping or scratching.

As for cooking, it heats very evenly, has a perfectly flat bottom (important with induction) and is a breeze to clean up.

Highly recommended.

It rocks back and forth and spins around! The pan looks flat on the bottom, but must not be.I used it in the oven to warm a ham over Christmas and it worked fine for that.To use it on top of the stove, as it is, you really have to turn up the heat.Wish I could figure out what is wrong with the design. Oster 3874 Flip Nonstick Belgian Waffle Maker, Chrome/Black

Oster 3874 Flip Nonstick Belgian Waffle Maker, Chrome/BlackI agree with reviewer Reuben that this is a very good product at a very good price.I was never able to make waffles consistently until I stayed at a motel that had a flip-style wafflemaker at the breakfast buffet.I have been on the lookout for a consumer-grade model and this one suits just fine.

The Oster Flip is sturdy, the non-stick griddles are non-stick and thick, it cooks thoroughly, the operation is straigthforward, and the waffles are thick, light and crisp on the outside.I made a batch of waffle mix using the standard recipe on Hungry Jack Complete Pancake mix, which adds oil and an egg to the "complete" mix, poured it into the Oster, flipped and watched for the Ready light to come back on and Voila! perfect Belgian waffle. It came out whole with no gymnastics (or fork) and it was ready for the next one. Much less stress than making pancakes!

Note: if you are on the market and want to spend more money, two features to look for are an audible alarm when it's time to open (so you can safely wander around the kitchen) and clip-in removable griddles that can go into the dishwasher.Neither interfere with making perfect waffles on the Oster, but would improve the experience further.

At $30 this is as good as any other waffle maker you can find for triple the price or more. It has three temperature levels (low, medium, high). You plug in the device and it automatically turns on (with a red power light to let you know), it takes 2 or so minutes to heat up from a cold start. You then let it heat up until the green light turns on (there is a green light on each side of the device) and then add your waffle mix. Immediately after adding the mix you close the device and flip it over. The green light then goes off and comes back on when your perfect waffle is ready. If need be you can leave it in a few extra seconds to darken up. It takes about 2 minutes to cook.

I have found that the best heat setting is about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way up between the medium and high dots. They truly are perfect waffles every time. It is amazing. Just as good as the hotel breakfast bar where I first used a waffle maker. If you like waffles you need this device. I chose this device over the Presto 03510 Flip-side because this one had adjustable heat and didn't require a separate battery to operate the timer. Plus it is made by Oster (I'm sure you have their blenders in your kitchen like I do) and the flip function seemed more durable. You can't go wrong with this waffle maker. You will be very happy with it. One tip is to use tinfoil underneath for an easy clean up and be sure to oil the inside waffle plates before the first use. Other than that the rest is all self explanatory. Stay tuned for durability updates.

We tried a pair of other similarly priced waffle makers out before settling on this particular model. The first brand we tried had poor construction quality -the lid clip snapped while we unpacked it!The other device we tried made shallow waffles and didn't seem to cook all the way through. We had to let them sit for double the recommended time just to get something edible.

The Oster flip allows us to make Belgian waffles just like the ones we've enjoyed at restaurants. These aren't like the tiny Kellogg waffles you buy at Walmart, these are deep large waffles that you can make a meal of. The flip allows the batter to settle evenly, flowing into the deep grooves to make perfect waffles every time. The construction is solid and the cook time is accurate. As a bonus, you can turn the flip sideways so the waffle maker requires less storage space!

Looked at 6 or 8 waffle makers and bought this one just to try it.It was an affordable flip style, and had better temperature control and monitoring lights than some similar priced, like the Presto.I really preferred the simplicity of the Presto flip mechanism, but wanted more control over the cooking temperature for different batters.Besides, no one had a Presto for the same price locally to try.

Based just on performance this waffle iron would get 5 stars, but the quality is only 3-stars, so I'm giving it a 4 overall. It feels light and has some loose fittings, but it does the job very well.Time will tell if the reliability matches the performance. The 1000 watt element is nice for quick heating and getting the waffle cooked in 3 to 4 minutes.I have not timed it, so it could be faster.Speed was not an issue for the me and the wife.

Based on the construction this is not a unit that can be roughly handled.I think it could be easy to break if you are prone to force things or don't take your time. There is plenty of leverage in the handle to force the flip in the wrong direction and break the plastic fittings. The temperature control knob does feel loose or flimsy, but the control works well for regulating browning and how done the waffle is.The lights are very helpful for guiding the cooking time.Red light indicates unit is plugged in.Green light indicates unit has reached cooking temperature.Normal cooking cycle is to heat unit till green light comes on, open waffle iron, hit the grids with some oil spray if first waffle, lay on the batter, close and flip, green light will go out as iron starts to heat and cook. When the green light comes on again the waffle is done.If not, close and let cook longer, and turn up the heat for the next one. There is a whole wheat recipe in the owner's guide that is very good.I substitute apple sauce for the oil (still don't understand why that works!) but still can cook 2 or 3 waffles with one spritz of oil.Yummy guilt-free food, if you lay off the whipped cream, butter, and chocolate sauce (those were the days).Don't overdo the amount of batter; less is more.So I can't tell you how easy it is to clean up an overflow, and hope I never can.

Also looked at the $80 flip brands and found they were no better at twice the price, and less convenient to store due to their size.Turn the Oster sideways and it slips into the cabinet with no problem.

So it is good so far.If it is still working a year from now will be the real test.

UPDATE 12/8/2009:Still performing very well.Does not get a lot of use, but very consistent and prompt waffle making. The sideways storage option is an unexpected benefit.Really wish I had a second one for large breakfast crowds. The recipes that come with it are great.Would buy again, and might actually do so if I can get the second one for a good discount :).

The lid seemed a little loose when it arrived but we used it and it works just fine. Our first waffles turned out perfectly. We didn't have a non-stick spray to use so we just applied cooking oil with a cloth the best we could and it worked. The appliance does seem a little "cheap" but if we take care of it, it should last a while. I would prefer if the plates were removable to clean, but honestly, there was little to clean anyway.

I probably shouldn't review this, as I have never made a cake. But I used to watch my mom make cakes, and she had stainless steel pans, which she would have to make several extra layers, she made great cakes, and often would make them for the church to sell or auction off.So they had to be pretty.Of course this meant I got to eat the ones that broke when they wouldn't come out of the pan.Fortunately for me, this happened quite often, but the downside was she hated to make cakes because of this problem, had to do a lot of extra work making extra batter that would not end up in one piece after cooking. So if she had some of these, i might have actually gotten more homemade cake.

I bought myself one of these, I have a lot of Circulon and really like it, but also have some clad pans I inherited from my mom.

But so far, I have mostly used it for cornbread.Since I live by myself, I cut the recipe down and it comes out pretty thin, so I did find that when making a regular size recipe, the cornbread falls right out, but when it is very thin, I butter the pan.It cleans up really easily, but I cook my cornbread at 450 degrees, so it will stick a bit.But the thick ones still just fall out.The pans are very thick and pretty heavy and coated with the hard anodized coating which stays put, and is all over the pan, top and bottom. The inside bottom edges are rounded which helps the stuff pop out.My son is the big cook in the family and I bought him a set of these, in order to encourage him to make cakes.Of course he can use them for brownies as well. And cornbread! But a high quality product, should last for a long time.

Bayou Classic 7434, 14" Cast Iron Skillet

Bayou Classic 7434, 14' Cast Iron SkilletFirst off, the packaging was horrible. It came in a box not much bigger than the pan with NO packing at all.The handle was sticking out the side of the box when I got it!!No biggie though.I opened the box and found the pan to be of poor quality, the handle was barely long enough for me to hold in my hand and with no handle opposite, it would be a chore to move this baby around when you had a few pounds of food in it!!The casting was REALLY rough and you could see that there was about a 3 inch spot in the middle where the casting was very thin. This thing was junk and I sent it back to be replaced by a Lodge.Bayou Classics are cast in China and they look like it!!Wish I knew that before I ordered it!!

First, I would say this pan should be Ok for outdoor, campfire type use.I had hoped to use this as an indoor stove top frying pan, and so I was disappointed with some features of this cast iron skillet.First the good: price was low (about $16, free shipping), compared to other brands similar size skillets (at $40 -$65). It is very heavy, it has pouring spouts on the sides and a short lifting assist handle on the side opposite the big straight handle. The handle has a hole for hanging. (It is NOT the pan shown in the picture for this item.) The not-so good: The reason for the low price, it seems, is barely adequate manufacturing and design. The skillet, manufactured in China, is rather roughly cast and the sand mold used apparently had some minor slumping so there are uneven thicker areas on the inside walls of the pan.As mentioned, the pan surface is fairly rough and porous, indicating a poorly prepared sand casting mold. The pan is usable nonetheless, but might be difficult to keep clean or have a good "nonstick" quality even if well seasoned. The bottom of the pan that would sit on the burner is not flat, as I expected a frying pan bottom to be.It has a large raised "Bayou Classic" logo cast into the bottom center, and a thin raised ring around the bottom edge, to allow the pan to sit flat on a flat surface without rocking around on the raised logo in the middle.Unfortunately, the ring is very uneven and the pan I received rocks quite a bit. Also, this is a very poor design for use on an electric stove, or induction electric stove because very little of the pan bottom would be in contact with the heating element. This design might be fine however, for cooking over a campfire, hot coals, or a gas burner stove if the burner grate will fit and support correctly on the raised ring/logo casting on the bottom of the pan. The pan arrives grey cast iron, (poorly packed in a flimsy torn cardboard box) thickly coated with paraffin to prevent rusting. This must be removed and the pan seasoned (like all cast iron pans) before use.Instructions included with the pan explain this process. They also warn you not to use the pan while drinking, intoxicated, or on prescription medication....!?I have several other cast iron pans (made by a US manufacturer) which I use frequently, and they are of MUCH better quality than this Bayou Classic pan.I would only recommend this pan for outdoor campfire type use, or if your budget requires the cheapest possible pan you can find. You will be much better off spending a little more to get a quality cast iron pan that will last a lifetime and be a pleasure to use.

Buy Bayou Classic 7434, 14" Cast Iron Skillet Now

The pan size is 14" from pouring lip to pouring lip.The actual inside measurments are 12.75" at top, 11+" inside bottom of skillet and 2.375" deep.Quality is good but not Lodge. At price w/free shipping it was a deal.

This is a solid piece of cookware. It retains heat, cooks evenly, and cleans up easily.I use for everything from hash to steaks (when it's too cold to want to use the grill). The only cautionary note for some would be on upper body strength...it is a substantial hunk of cast iron, rather like cooking with something carved out of an engine block, or a manhole cover with sides.

George Foreman GRP4EMB Black Evolve Grill with 2 Grill Plates, 1 Deep-Dish Bake Pan and 1 Cupcake a

George Foreman GRP4EMB Black Evolve Grill with 2 Grill Plates, 1 Deep-Dish Bake Pan and 1 Cupcake and Muffin Pan InsertThis is, in my opinion, the best of the George Foreman grills.

It functions perfectly. The removable plates lock into place fairly well and do not slide around very much. It is incredibly easy to clean even without removing the plates.

The adjustable temperature and timers make cooking a lot easier when you don't have to guess at the actual temperature, like you do with so many of the other George Foreman grills.

It is sturdy, well built, and is designed to last. It fits easily onto a countertop, and I have had no problems with it whatsoever.

The one quibble I have is that the Bistro Grill does not actually shut off after it has been turned on for use, even if you press the power button again. You have to unplug it to get it to stop heating, and this is apparently by design according to the manual. This is counter-intuitive, and definitely not the way it should work. Pressing the power button should be a toggle. Press once, it turns on. Press a second time, it should turn *off*.

I bought this grill as a replacement for a "Ready-Set-Go" that was a piece of junk that fell apart after only a couple of uses. I really liked having a counter-top grill though, so i thought I'd give this Foreman a try! WoW! Am I glad I did! Grilled some Maple/Dijon/BBQ Glazed Salmon the first night, and it came out better than when I use my professional outdoor grill. I love the interchangable grill, deepdish, and muffin grill plates. The kids loved the deep dish pizza too! Now, if I can get George to offer an omlet and tiny muffins plate like I had with the "Ready-set-Go" this thing would be perfect. It's easy to use, quick and easy to clean with the removable plates, and versatile. Bottom line: buy it!...and enjoy!

First offI'm convinced many of these reviews are fake.Any time someone writes an unsavory review some person comes along the day after to click "unhelpful" on it even though it has way more information on it than the 2 -3 sentance reviews that have no information but only say "It's great, I love it"the end.Yet those useless 5 star reviews that say absolutely nothing about the product get thumbs up as helpful.I would come to read the reviews on this product for months before purchasing because I was on the fence before buying it and I'm not kidding when I tell you that virtually any review that had 3 stars or less almost IMMEDIATELY had been clicked unhelpful by someone as if this was being monitored in some way.there are a few too many reviews where this is the only product the reviewer has ever reviewed here on amazon too which is fishy to me.Anyhow, I just don't understand why what I'm about to mention here was only mentioned by a few of the reviewers so far.I'll sum this up with pros and cons.

Pros Removable plates.Size is good. That's all.

If it weren't for the fact that the plates could be removed and put in the dishwasher... and like someone else's review noted, the fact that this grill is sized long enough for cooking bacon, I would've just spent 20 bucks on the much more superior cooking machine I once hadthe GF champ.

Cons:

Takes significantly longer to heat up than previous gf grill models. It takes 15 minutes on the evolve to cook something that used to take me 6 minutes on the champ.

Croshatch grill plate much harder to clean. The previous models have a standard top and bottom grill plate that is easy to clean because they have standard straight grill markings. This model has a top grill that is cross-hatched which makes it 5 times harder to clean.Even after putting it in the dishwasher on high there is still so much residue left in between the crosshatches I have to handwash it for an extra 3 minutes.

-Bad experience in getting replacement parts. So the manual says you can get the regular type of straight top plate if you want.Well I tried ordering it from the replacement part company and they told me they don't have them.I was dissapointed but I thought to myselfok... I might as well just get extra grill plates so that I can have an extra on hand if the teflon scratches or just to not have to run the dishwasher every night I can have an extra clean pair of grill plates.Well that didn't work out either.I was told they didn't have any more replacement grill plates and that I'd have to wait 6 weeks.8 weeks later they still didn't have them... 16 weeks later still nothing...so basically if you scratch the teflon on these grill plates, you're stuck having to buy a new entire grill because they don't have replacement grill plates and haven't had them for months.customer service is virtually non-existant.

No where in the manual does it explain to you what it means when the temperature display is blinking and what it means when it stops blinking.Probably because they don't want you to realize how long this thing takes to actually heat up to the right temperature.the manual says to preheat the grill to the desired temperature for at least 5 minutes before placing food on it.But the blinking indicates that it is still heating.Once it stops blinking the desired temperature has been reached. It takes WAY more than 5 minutes to preheat the grill to the set temperature.I put bacon on the rack and it took almost 15 minutes to cook. It would've been faster on the stove! On the champ it took me 8 minutes to get perfect crispy bacon.

If you go traveling outdoors a lot like rv camping the other plates like the muffin and cake plate might work for you.Otherwise I don't see the point of using this to make muffins or cakes or pizza because the oven makes pizzas, cakes and muffins 50 times better than this grill does and in the same amount of time.I don't have the waffle plates so I can't comment on those.

One reviewer below wrote"What did this "evolve" from anyway?A bic lighter?"I couldn't agree more.

This grill is quick and versatile.Temperature and time controls are very simple. All grilling/baking plates are very easy to remove and pop in the dishwasher. Thus no greasy cleanup after burgers, etc. At this price a more complete cookbook should be included, since cooking is done on both sides and cooking time is much shorter than other methods.

For $95 I was expecting a lot more. You can cook pretty well with the thing, but I have two main issues

1)Not easy to clean.

The bottom pan is pretty easy to clean, and that is the one they show in various pictures, but the top pan isn't.The top pan has lines to make cool grill marks, but frankly, its hard to clean.its so big I can't soak it in my sink or my giant plastic tub, so I have to hand clean it with paper towels and rags.Stuff gets stuck in the corners of the grill-line area so easily.Frankly, I just rinse it and re-use without cleaning the top just because its such a pain.

2)Heating

It says it preheats in 5 minutes, but that is just flat out wrong. If you want to preheat on 300 (lowest) it takes about 8-10 minutes, and if you want to preheat to 425 (highest) it takes around 15 minutes.Even if you get it that hot, once you put the food on it won't be able to maintain the temperature. If you have any intention of covering the entire surface with food, you will be disappointed.I can get 2 burgers on this thing and it still has trouble maintaining them.I put 8 strips of bacon on and the 'sizzle' sound fades after 20-30 seconds. It just cant maintain the heat.

I like the deep-dish pan it has though.I put a lot of food in there, set to 300 and let it slowly cook for 30-40 minutes. It barely reaches a boil after 15 minutes, but after that it is a slow boil that can maintain.Even if I set it to 425 like this, it only boils a little faster.

Frankly, though, for almost $100 I think it is junk.

7-Inch ECLIPSE Nonstick Aluminum Frying Pan, Fry Pan, Saute Omelette Pan, Commercial Grade - NSF Ce

7-Inch ECLIPSE Nonstick Aluminum Frying Pan, Fry Pan, Saute Omelette Pan, Commercial Grade - NSF CertifiedHeavy Duty thick gauge. Easy to clean. Egg slides out when done cooking. Made for one egg. Tight fit for two eggs. Difficult to gauge pan capacity size from illustration without Amazon having a egg in each photo for comparison. If this is your size skillet, this is the pan for you!

These pans lasted a couple years, but I had to buy slide on handle grips to make them easy to use.So the money I thought I was saving went toward the cost of buying the grips.Would not buy them again, unless I could not find the ones I have now from Betty Crocker by METRO.However the slanted sides on these pans were more desirable.

Paula Deen Signature Cast Iron Single Burner 12-Inch Reversible Grill and Griddle

Paula Deen Signature Cast Iron Single Burner 12-Inch Reversible Grill and GriddleI purchased this as a gift for my stepdad who has an obsession with cast iron and has been using cast iron since he was a child. He pulled this out to cook some steaks and after about 10 minutes on the burner over medium heat, it burst in half. It sounded like a bomb going off. I attempted to get a refund (after the 30 day window offered by Amazon because I didn't gift it within 30 days of purchase) and it was refused. I would absolutely not purchase again. Cast iron bursting in half while on the stovetop could be potentially fatal.

Just got this a few days ago and am loving it. I use it on my induction burner and it works great. I was a little concerned when I saw the construction that it wouldn't work with my induction burners but it's great.

Heavy cast iron, fits well over a single burner but has plenty of room for steak, chicken, whatever for 3-4 people. Clens up as a seasoned cast iron grill should. Love it! Highly recommend.

I bought this griddle for my daughter for Christmas 2012.The first use caused a frighteningly loud noise and cracked side to center. We have submitted requested pics of defective product; awaiting decision (?) of mfg. whether refund or replacement can be expected. Will never order online again...too much hassle trying to get anything accomplished if product is of poor quality.

Revere 1400 Line 3-Quart Covered Saucepan

Revere 1400 Line 3-Quart Covered SaucepanThe other reviewer is right about old Revere Ware; its great stuff that'll last forever. However, newer Revere Ware, like what's being advertised here, is total junk. I own an old 2qt saucepan and a brand new 4.5qt Dutch oven. The Dutch oven isflimsy and the lid doesn't fit well. If you want good Revere Ware make sure it's from the USA (not Indonesia, like the new stuff) and OLD. Try yard sales or ebay. The only thing to recommend new Revere ware is the 25 year warranty. That is the only way the old and new products are comparable.

I bought one of these recently. The bottom warped after the first couple of uses, making it useless on my glass top stove. I tried to contact Revere about it with no response.

I ordered this pan beacuse I liked the old RevereWare pan I have had and wanted another.I received this pan and could not believe how much lighter and of less quality it was as compared to the original RevereWare pan I have had for years. I looked on the botom of the new pan and it is made in China.IS IS A PIECE OF JUNK.I returned the pan.I would not recommend this pan to anyone.

I received the 3 Quart Saucepan as a gift and was eager to compare it to the one I have had for almost 20 years.I have read other reviews that complain that the pan is "light weight" and "made in China." I found this pan to be of the same weight as my old pan with the same rivet construction and copper-clad base. The copper bottom is stamped "Indonesia" unlike my old version which is stamped "Rome, NY." While I'm disappointed it is no longer manufactured in the United States, I will say that it still seems to be the same trusted Revere "recipe."Of course, if I discover any problems I will update this review.

The quality of this pot is complete junk.I made a mistake of throwing out the packaging and now I am stuck with this POS.The worst part about this pot is that the interior surface is very rough and covered with dangerous metal residue from poor manufacturing process.

I spent 35 minutes scrubbing it off AFTER the pot was put through a dishwasher.I am still not comfortable using this for food preparation. They should pull this terrible product off the market immediately -it's simply irresponsible for this company to sell this crap to it's customers.

See attached picture -the paper towel on the left shows how much metallic residue was on the pot AFTER it came from the dishwasher. The paper towel on the right is the amount of residue that was still there after I scrubbed the pot with a dish washing sponge for over 10 minutes!
