The 12" Green Earth Wok by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick Coating (100% PTFE and PFOA Free)
First off I washed the wok with a clean cloth.I then coated it with oil, which is preconditioning it.I do this with my Green Earth Pan too, at least once a month.
The first time I used it was to do a stir fry.I put a tablespoon of olive oil into the wok, turned the heat to 5, (medium) and let it heat up a little.I then added my onions so that they would go translucent, followed by the rest of my vegetable.I turned them every few minutes, but didn't need to watch them all the time.I then added my already cooked meat, and seasoning. The food was delicious, and all I had was a single pan to wash.
I waited for it to cool down, and then had warm soapy water, and a sponge.I wiped the interior, and nothing had stuck on it.I then carefully dried it.
My next creation was a Shepherd's pie, which is onions, ground chuck, and English OXO (beef cubes).I added a little water to the pan, and then cooked everything in the Wok.When this part of the Shepherd's pie was cooked, it just slid into the huge pie dish, and I added the mashed potato to the top, and browned it.
The Ozeri Green Earth Wok cooks food evenly, and it seems like half the normal time.I love that it has a shiny black natural coating, and is totally non-stick in my opinion.I guess that is does stick if someone doesn't read the instructions, has it on a too high a heat, or uses metal spoons in it.
It is also much healthier to cook in this wok as it is free of PTFE, PFOA, and other harmful chemicals.
When I have finished cooking, if Len isn't ready for his food, I can put the wok in the oven to keep the food warm.It is oven safe up to 180 degs C or 356 F.
Ozeri think so much of their product that it has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This is for their workmanship under normal use and service.Anyone not taking care of the product loses this warranty.
I have put the Green Earth Wok to so many uses, that I am now thinking about getting a lid for it.I don't need several of my small kitchen appliances, as this does so much.
I was sent The Green Earth Wok by Ozeri for my personal use. I was under no contract, or obligation to write a review, or to write a favorable one if I chose to write one.Do NOT expect any warrenty or customer service from Ozeri/Amazon when the "non-stick" coating ceases to be non-stick as internet feedback will tell you happens.
You are buying expensive cookware from a company that does no business with Sears, Target, Macy's, Wal-Mart because they don't want to follow the Return policies of major retailers.
TERRIBLE customer "service" from OzeriThis is quite simply the best wok (the best PAN of any sort for that matter)I have ever used. The ceramic surface is amazing great heat conduction, awesome non-stick cooking, super easy clean up.I'm going to replace many of my traditional pans with additional Ozeri pans.
14" COMMERCIAL STAINLESS STEEL FRY FRYING PAN - NSF
The description said 14", but it is more like 15&1/4", but as far as I concern, the more the better, saves time by frying in larger batches.Very large pan and is made well. This pan will last a very long time.Sometimes we have company and I need a large fry pan to cook the morning eggs. This pan is very heavy, but the quality outweighs the weight of the pan.
Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 12" Skillet
I also have the 8 and 10 inch skillets, they all cook great.I wanted lids for the pans, and found that the glass lids from the Anolon "Advanced" cookware line fit very well, and look great. But as far as I can see, you can only buy a 10-12 inch set.Not individually, and not for the 8 inch.Anolon Advanced Glass Lids 10-Inch and 12-Inch Glass Lids Twin PackNice pans but the bottoms tend to want to delaminate when used on induction stove...Avoid overheating these at all costs..

I bought my set of Anolon Nouvelle copper cookware set elsewhere online because of the price difference between what Amazon had offered. The 12-inch pan did not come with the set, and wanted to get it to "complete the set". (Also bought the glass 10 and 12 inch glass lids thru Amazon). After reading every review I could, spending what seem weeks comparing this set to other cookware, ie., stainless clad, enamel, stoneware, price, ect., I decided on this set. Depending on what you cook, how you cook it are the deciding factors. Staub and Le Creuset are great sets, but not what I needed. Stainless and copper are also a nice cookware, but I don't have the time to polish them after using then every time.I decided on Anolon Copper because of its design and price. Heats evenly and retains the heat after turning off your stove. Oven safe to 500(?) degrees, dishwasher safe, although I hand wash them. Meyer makes this set and Rachael Rays cookware. I was torn between Rachaels and Anolon sets. But Anolon had all the features plus a few more that tipped the scales toward Anolon. I think Anolons was a better deal overall.
Go to Meyers website and compare the two. Their pricing was great!

I own several Anolon pans in various sizes. The non-stick performance is the equal of any. Anolon is the only pan that has non-stick, flush rivets securing the handle. This makes these pans easy to clean.

I do alot of cooking and have tried a half dozen pans. This one is one of the best so far. It heats evenly and cleans very easily. I have since had to stop using this pan because of build-up. I think either spray oil or marinade caused the build-up. I tried boiling water in it and scrubbing with no luck removing. I have since discovered that you have to at least wipe oil in non stick pans to keep in good shape.
Farberware Restaurant Pro Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Commercial Skillet
Now I've used the so-called "high end" stuff. I even own expensive pans. But none can even begin to compare to this one. I recently gave away my Calap... one because the non-stick was the worst surface ever!!! There is almost a "grip" to the surface. It is rougher than this Farberware one. This one is very smooth. It even out performs other Farberware pans! If I were you, I'd buy this one in every size you think you could use. They are getting harder and harder to find!
I would suggest a few things to keep the nice non-stick thing going well:
1. HAND WASH only!! use a washcloth... really that is all you will need. (um, yeah soap too but that should go w/o saying) Don't put it in the dishwasher... even when stuff states "dishwasher safe" there is something about the chemicals that turns the good cookware into dollar store garbage in a matter of just a couple of cycles...sometimes just one!
2. To keep the back nice and shiny, I do use the steel wool pads... but ONLY for the silver/aluminum part. Don't let it touch the non-stick part.
(this pan hangs on my pan wall, so I like to keep all my pans nice and shiny)
3. Use cooking spray or a very small amout of oil/butter/etc. I know. I know. It's "non-stick". Right. I've seen the infomercials on non-stick. They all work the first few times and then all of a sudden they stop. I use very very little on this pan...Really I do. But I believe it has made it last that much longer.
3. When you are done cooking, DON'T put the very hot pan right in water. I set mine on a burner that was not used and I let it cool. There is something about warping and putting hot pans in water... wives tale? I'm not testing the waters. :) If you used your spray/oil/etc, it really will clean for you. You can, however, take a spatula/scraper (plastic/slicone) and clear out the debris first. It really does clean nicely!
This has become a hard to find item. I am so happy with this pan that I am going to purchase extras to store for my kids use some day.
Works great; I mostly only use it for eggs (prefer stainless coated aluminum for everything else), and it's vastly better than the cheap nonstick skillet I had before, easy to make great omelettes.

This skillet is fantastic. It is very well balanced and the bottom sits flat against the burner, thereby providing uniform heating.Scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast.....all cook great in this pan.No sticking and very easy clean-up.Highly recommended. Now I plan to order the next larger size too.Read Best Reviews of Farberware Restaurant Pro Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Commercial Skillet Here
This is "the best" non-stick pan EVER!!!It really does not stick. On all "non-stick" I do use some kind of spray as most pans for me still are hard to clean despite using non-stick AND a spray...not this one!You don't need much and your eggs will thank you!Now I've used the so-called "high end" stuff.I even own expensive pans. But none can even begin to compare to this one.I recently gave away my Calap... one because the non-stick was the worst surface ever!!!There is almost a "grip" to the surface. It is rougher than this Farberware one. This one is very smooth. It even out performs other Farberware pans!If I were you, I'd buy this one in every size you think you could use. They are getting harder and harder to find!

Calphalon Single Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 2
Buy Calphalon Single Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 2 Now
The Calphalon Racks come with different numbers of hooks. For example, the 12 x 24-inch wall rack comes with 4 hooks. You may need a total of 12 or more single hooks if you want to hang utensils with pots and pans. Also you may want to add some antique or decorative items to your rack. So plan ahead, measure a bit, be creative, and order extra pot rack hooks along with your Calphalon rack.Read Best Reviews of Calphalon Single Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 2 Here
I recently installed a wall-mounted Calphalon pot rack, which I like a lot.Unfortunately, the two hooks I just ordered both fail to work properply with the potrack. One is simply too small to fit onto the rack; the other one fits on but is too large, and comes off when removing pans.Additionally, these hooks are either made from a different material and/or finsihed differently from the ones that shipped with pot rack originally.Calphalon would be better off charging more money for hooks that actually work than continuing to ship these things.Whatever company Calphalon has contracted to make these things is doing a terrible job.

The reviewer that said they do not match is correct-they look cheap and although likely as functional as any other, I donated mine unopened to Goodwill.
Earth Pan Stainless Steel 9" and 11" Skillet Twin Pack
These are great for a few uses & then the non stick just isn't there. High heat cooking seems to speed up the loss of the non-stick surface. They stain easily & are just a major disappointment. The instructions tell you not to use oil or butter... who cooks without oil or butter? I was thrilled for the first few uses... than sadly let down. Don't waste your money, like me. I thought after my first purchase of one pan they were great & ordered 4 more, only to realize they were not worth the money after several uses.

Well originally I loved this pan but with time(not to long) I noticed everyone was right about this pan! It stinks! As time went on the eggs stuck more and more, etc. So glad I didn't buy the set! My advice is to anyone who still wants to try it-make sure you use a small pan for a WHILE(MANY MONTHS)cook a variety of things in it and make sure to only use medium to low setting always..There are some new green pans at bed bath I think they sell them here also, supposed to be good.

Save your money folks! This is piece of junk. I bought this only after consumer reports' smart shop recommended this product as the best overall. What a joke! They certainly need to do that research again.Like everyone else I was thrilled to use this the first three times or so but after that the food seemed to get stuck more and more to a point even a heavy coat of oil didn't help from food sticking. I couldn't fry eggs even with 1/4" oil without sticking. I mean come on that's not what I call non stick by any means. I bought 10 and 12 inch pans and I am regretting it heavily. What a total disappointment and waste of money!Want Earth Pan Stainless Steel 9" and 11" Skillet Twin Pack Discount?
These pans were great when I first bought them. However, now that I've had them for less than a year, everything sticks to them. The only thing reliable about them is that every time I clean them, more of the finish disappears.Do not buy these pans.I sadly got an entire set last year for Christmas and now I will need to reinvest this year.A wasteof a couple of hundred dollars.
