After about 20 years, our old (when they still made high quality) copper bottom, Revere non-stick skillet was worm out.With some sadness we searched for a replacement.We did a lot of research and settled on this one.Boy am I glad we did!!It heats even more evenly than the old one!And so far we have cooked nearly every dish with no oil at all.Clean up is a snap!We have had this for about a month.If you are looking for a great non stick skillet, I think you will be very pleased.

We like to have people over for dinner and this pan fit the bill for cooking. Clean up was easy since it is non stick. I would recommend this pan.

This is a good heavy skillet and I would love it if it had a good slip on rubber or vinyl handle cover. Even at low heat you have to use a pot holder to handle the pan. This is hands down the best non-stick skillet I've ever used. It does not use any of the toxic materials, has a superb heat distribution, requires very little oil, very easy to clean and you will have a perfect sear every time you use it.

I am so very happy with these skillets and highly recommend them.The non-stick surface really and truly doesn't stick, the pans cook beautifully, and it only takes about 30 seconds to wash them.As for the cushy orange handles, they're comfortable, practical and easy to see. I was surprised that the cushy feature makes it a little easier to carry the pan when there's food in it.My husband isn't too keen on the orange color, but I actually like it.I have a set of pricey caphalon and Swiss diamond skillets in my pantry, and they're headed straight for the trash because they aged poorly and don't perform anywhere near as well as these products.I ended up trying Rachel Ray's cookware because it got high review scores from Cooks Magazine. I bought this because we needed some new nonstick frying pans and I wanted some that had a coating which did not chip off. It doesn't. However, the pans are delicate and cannot stand up to higher heat. This means that you can only cook food in them on low heat. What good is a frying pan that you can only use on low heat? This means no cooking meat in them as you cannot sear the outside to keep the inside juicy. No cooking anything that needs higher heat. So far we have only used our smaller frying pan and that only a few times and already the outside is black from the electric burner and the inside has food charred to it. I am already searching for another brand of cookware that is both nonstick and more sturdy, yet does not cost an arm and a leg. I would never buy any more frying pans in this brand.

We have been using these pans daily for almost two months. So far we are extremely satisfied. The pans are more lightweight than our more expensive stainless steel set, but that's a good thing for our older wrists. They are so easy to clean that it's almost fun.

I purchased 3 of these from Amazon at the beginning of the school year for my 4H Foods Group which consists of 22 kids. These hot plates have been used twice a week, every week, and at competition.

They work great and have been very reliable. The only complaint I have is that they take a while to get hot, and then after you're done cooking it takes equally as long for it to cool off.....but those are small prices to pay to get a hot plate that works every time you need it too.

These are holding up well to the abuse the kids dish out and they still look and act just like they did out of the box!

I like that the burners are sealed, and it cooks very well. The one thing I didn't like was that the crome surround gets very hot to the touch.Keep this away from small children.Other than that it is a good product.

I purchased this to add to my outdoor kitchen as I needed some additional cook tops.

We use this outside, store it indoors.

It arrived very well packed. Is easy to use and it looks good.

The burnes are a bit slow getting hot, but that is to be expected with the cast iron. However it does a good job.

If you set it up to 5 it shuts itself off when it reaches the appropiate temp. At max it keeps going. We have used it for deep frying, boiling water etc. Pretty much all regular cooking is being done on it.

It runs about 1400 watts I believe, I am running it on a 20 amp circuit and it is fine.

We love these non-stick pans, and the price for three of them -and the variety of sizes -is great. Given that most non-stick pans have a fairly short life of several years, when these wear out, it will be easy to replace them without a lot of regret, as we experienced when the high-priced pan we got for our wedding started to rust and flake.

We bought this set over one year ago. The cushioned handles are comfortable for small or large hands, and clean well. This brand of pans has held up better than any other set we have used in the past. We mostly use the small pan for our eggs in the morning, and use very little (if any at all) non-stick spray. A previous reviewer mentioned seasoning the pans per America's Test Kitchen. That sounds like a good idea that could not hurt anything. Maybe it will make these pans even better. These pans were not made in a Communist (China) country, the set I have was made by my friends and neighbors. I would buy this set again for sure.

These pans are a very good product, made in our own country.I've had mine for about two years of daily use (often breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the non-stick coating has shown no signs of degradation.This is in contrast to my Calphalon pans, which were much more expensive and barely last a year.I do not baby these pans.I use them and toss them in the dishwasher.The only Issue I've had is that the handles on the smaller pans get a little loose from time to time, but I just tighten the screw.One of these days I'll apply some Loctite to make it a permanent fix.I think my big pan has the handle riveted, and no issues with that one.

When these wear out (no idea when that will be), I will certainly buy some more.

There are several levels of this cook wear so you will have to decide what is best for you.I cook every day and sometimes all day to prepare for the week. I bought this to replace a favorite old veteran egg skillet that needed to be retired.

This nonstick pan exceeded my expectations; yes, it was a great value, but it's also a terrific little saute pan.

I'm using it primarily for cooking my husband's usual 2-egg breakfasts & it's just the right pan for the job.A little butter prevents sticking and gives the eggs just the right consistency (don't try to cook "over-easy" eggs in any nonstick pan without a little fat or you'll "crisp" them).

The nonstick coating on the pan is dense and slick, not thin, and the pan heats very evenly.I even like the exaggerated angle of the handle--it keeps your hand further away from the heat.And the handle is soft and easy on the hands.

A winner; I'm going to look into other sizes from this manufacturer (who also makes commercial cookware)---this is a great value for good quality everyday cookware.I'm going to put it to work for sautees, small omelettes, sandwiches and more.A favorite find : )

For a Cheap Set of Frying pans this set can't be beat.I have been using them for a few weeks now and am quite happy. The metal that forms the pans is noticeably thinner than the more expensive stuff, however the teflon coating is done extremely well and the pans cook and clean easily.

For $20, you get less than you expect, but you expected that anyway. It's a nice, simple set of skillets that you'll use till the nonstick surface eventually fails...they all do. What I didn't expect is that the sidewalls are too shallow. The pictures in the listing misrepresent the skillets and aren't accurate. The actual skillets should have another 1/2" or so to their height to match the pictures. The pictures in the listing show much deeper walls, but in the actual skillets, they're pathetically shallow and it left me feeling cheated about the purchase.

On the plus side, I chose them because I liked the riveted steel handles. I'm sick & tired of the cheap plastic handles that always break, degrade, shatter or snap off. Riveted steel handles are always the way to go.

In the end, I kept this set because I just wanted a cheap set for now. I'm tired of spending good money on name brand, nice nonstick sets from stores that never last. I've bought nonstick skillets, ranging from expensive, cheap, and average over the years...and no matter what, the nonstick always fails within a few months or a year, depending on your care & feeding of them. They'll always get scratched, too high a heat used, have low quality, whatever and etc...and they'll always have a short lifespan.

For a cheap skillet set made in China...just expect to run these till the wheels fall off, then replace them.

It's a shame that almost nothing is quality made anymore...and instead we're left with dismal quality on almost everything we buy now, most made in China or other third world countries. It's become the norm and we just accept it. It's so hard finding anything made in the U.S.A. anymore, and made of quality...and we're all disgusted with this.

Calphalon Simply Calphalon Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 3-Quart Chef's Skillet

This is the best skillet we have ever used for high heat usage.It conducts heat evenly in all areas, is heavy, substantal fry pan (similar to cast iron) without the downside rusting, sticking etc.Even though it is not advertised as non-stick, we have had no problem with sticking, without the problems of tefelon scratching and flakes coming off the surface during high heat use.We plan to replace other pans with Calphalon in the future if this one continues to provide the service indicated. Review based on 1 month of hard usage.

The description for this item suggests that its interior is hard anodized. It is, in fact, NON-STICK. As a non-stick pan, it's halfway decent, but I bought it presuming that it was a steal-of-a-deal hard anodized interior like the other Calphalon I own.

Considering what I paid, I will keep it, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't what I ordered.

I got this as a gift. I own regular Calphalon, which is made heavier, this is called Simply Calphalon, a little less heavy, but just as good. Thats why it is priced less. Well worth buying more.

Corning Vision Visions Amber 10 3/4" Skillet with Lid

I prefer a non-toxic pan for cooking which is why I purchased this glass cookware.

For cooking vegetables and items that don't stick really badly, the Visionware has been great. I use this particular pan mainly to sautee or steam vegetables and to fry bacon.

It cleans up nicely when you soak it and scrub it out with a plastic scrubber. I then place it in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.

I have used Visionware for about 22 years, including this frying pan.I don't know why Visions made a 10" and a 10 3/4" skillet but I have both sizes andI have several of each due to my tendancy to batch cook.

The frying pan has never failed or exploded on me.

However, there have been some complaints about exploding Visionware (Google is your friend).

Some incidents can be attributed to thermal shock such as running cool water in a hot pot, or placing the hot item on a cool surface, or putting the cookware on a heat source with no water in it.

Also, if you have chipped, cracked, or scratched cookware, it is recommended that you discard it.

I would recommend carefully checking your cookware and discarding it if it is damaged.

You will want to avoid scratching it with metal utensils.

Bakers & Chefs 10" Nonstick Restaurant Fry Pan (2 Pack)

wife says that it is an excellent nonstick fry pan; uses it every day and is happy, happy, happy with item.

I've had one of these skillets for several months, now, got it from Amazon. Before buying, I did some research on the Eclipse non-stick coating. Standard industry Lab tests indicate that Eclipse is orders of magnitude better than previous non-stick coatings. I have to agree; this is the best skillet I've ever used; nothing sticks to it, it cooks evenly, eggs slide around as if they were on ice skates. It cleans up like new. I wipe it out with a paper towel, then rinse it out with hot water, and a dishrag (no soap, ever), even the raw aluminum outside surface. The pan is a good weight, good balance, it feels good in your hands, you can flip things easily, even things, like pancakes, that stick to some other pans.

I bought these two, one for each of my daughters; they tell me that they love the pans...and me. I give Bakers & Chefs an A+ for the design (sides are sloped, so you can easily flip the contents), construction (three burly rivets hold the cast Stainless Steel handle in place, and the slide on / off silicone handle cover ensures that you won't burn your hands. This is my favorite skillet.
