Cuisinart GG33-30H GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 5-1/2-Quart Saute Pan with Helper Handle and

Cuisinart GG33-30H GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 5-1/2-Quart Saute Pan with Helper Handle and CoverThe non-stick surface of this pan is great and it looks like the construction is excellent too. The only problem I have is that the pan warps very slightly when heated which makes it rock on a flat top electric stove. It would be perfect for a gas stove or a stove with electric coils, but not a glass/ceramic flat top. I sent the first pan back because of this and the second one seemed better, but still warps enough to rock slightly. I use it at the lowest heat I can to try to minimize this effect. Too bad I have two flat top stoves.

This cookware does the job providing even heat throughout your cooking process. The surface is super slick but gives you a nice foundation for searing, braising and pan frying and lends itself to a variety of sauce making applications. A simply pan reduction sauce is a snap and cleanup is a breeze, with paper towel no less. The nicest features are the stay cool recycled stainless steel handle mirrored with the ability to finish your meal preparation in the oven or broiler.

The deep rich browning created by this pan is uniform and flavorful.Don't let the competition sway you, cooking till black is not the new brown! So, if you are going green, get this cookware, it's certainly your next step!If you wish to look at one up close and feel the quality for yourself then head on over to your nearest Le Gourmet Chef outlet store, you will not be disappointed.

I recently prepared Chicken Marsala utilizing this pan and a Simply Calphalon Saute Pan.Both pans performed well but the golden brown searing and coloration was more developed in the Cuisinart pan.I also was able to adjust the gas at a lower flame under the Cuisinart pan.The Calphalon pan was searing at 8 out of 10 on the cook-top range whereas the Cuisinart pan was searing at 4 out of 10. The fond left on the pan from the searing in the Cuisinart pan was also more developed and added to the Marsala recipe quite nicely.

I will post a comment and update the link when I test the new Calphalon Unison searing pan against the Cuisinart GreenGourmet Saute pan.

Buy Cuisinart GG33-30H GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 5-1/2-Quart Saute Pan with Helper Handle and Now

I bought this pan after owning the Cuisinart GreenGourmet 12 inch skillet (Hard Anodized). I used to use stainless steel only and was very apprehensive about any non-stick surface, especially after the news of health concerns linked to Tephlon coated pans. I received my first Cuisinart GreenGourmet pan from a friend who wanted to convert me to a non-stick pan user. After learning about the safety of hard-anodized and ceramica, I became comfortable using this pan. It very quickly became my favorie pan. I added this 5.5 Quart Saute pan to my collection and it functions as my work horse for those larger quantity recipies such as chili. The pan is not only BEAUTIFUL, it is quite versatile.I have used it for a variety of applications from stove, to high broiler, to flambe. It does it all. It is oven and broiler safe. The ceramica finish is easy to clean and is heats up quickly and evenly. As per the instructions, I have never had to turn the stove past medium/high, even to boil water in this pan ... yes boil water. The cooking area is great for making noodles, especially lasagna noodles without having to break them to fit into the pot. This pan also comes with a lid that can be used on the Cuisinart 12-inch Skillet (which does not come with a lid).

Amazon offers a VERY good price for the GreenGourmet line. The GreenGourmet line is hard to find (Target, Walmart don't carry them). Bed Bath and Beyond charges full price, and even with a coupon you are not getting it for the everyday price offered by Amazon. A real bargain.

Thanks for reading :-)

As with most Cuisinart products, this pan is outstanding. When compared to products of similar quality (AllClad, etc) this pan is quite affordable, and somewhat better to use. Its heat distribution is superb & uses lower temperatures, its non-stick surface is excellent & durable, its stovetop-to-oven feature is as good as any ordinary pan BETTER actually, since it is a non-stick. The cover fits quite well and seals in moisture & heat. Its rounded lip allows pouring more neatly & more quickly than other high end lines a very welcomed feature, as is the helper handle which not all pans of this size have. As an extremely active amateur chef and avid foodie, I cook a GREAT deal and the Cuisinart GreenGourmet line this pan in particular has become the principal cooking implement in our kitchen. The additional health safety features are a plus which must not be overlooked.

At first this pan looked like the perfect alternative to teflon, but unfortunately after a few uses it started to warp. We never used it over anything higher then medium heat.

Concord 7 Pc Eco Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set

Concord 7 Pc Eco Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Cookware SetI have had these pans for about 6 months and loved them at first.I have to say that the ceramic coating has held up much better than the more expensive pans and they do a good job of being non-stick and cleaning easily. But now my handles are cracking and falling off!I am so disappointed!I can only assume that the plastic handles cannot handle heat long term.I have had to discard both the skillet and the dutch oven, the pieces I use the most. The two saucepans are still fine.

I've been looking for ceramic cookware for a long time. Price was always the issue. These were a great price so I at first was apprehensive. I love these pots. I find the nonstick of the ceramic amazing and the fact that it's non-toxic awesome. The only bad part was the silly stickers on the lid, which I soaked and scraped off. The pots seemed kind of flimsy but after cooking with them for a month I only get happier with them as they cook fast and clean very easily. The exterior also still has the same bright hue as the first day I used it. Love everything but the lids. Love these pots!!!

I love the way they cook but poor quality. I am very careful with my cookware.. I use only wooden spoons. If you are cooking meat with bones the bone actually cuts through the ceramic. The paint is coming off and the handles are coming loose.

After reading of the hazards of regular cookware i decided to buy this safe eco-friendly set.The others i looked at through Amazon all had bad reviews or cost an arm and a leg.I have owned them for 4 months and they are the greatest cooking discoveryin years.your foods cook faster and foods don't stick to the pans.I use to spend a half hour cleaning up burnt on rice and beans from my regular pots, not with these,2 or 3 minutes of wiping them and all food particles come off.The ceramics so far are staying in place after using these pots dailey for 4 months.I will be buying another set soon.My only complaint is i wish they had a 3 quart handled pot for making mash potatoes.after owning for 4 months i findsome stains don't come off the pan,i made toasted chees sandwiches and the bread burned into the pan and can't be washed off.Ground meat is starting to coat my big pan and leaving little stains

Great product for great price. I was looking around for ceramic cookware because I hate Teflon and it's propensity to fall apart after a few months. The ceramic coating on these pots are the best non-stick that I have had in a long time!! Very impressed here, my only suggestion is for the CONCORD stickers not to be put on every lid, they are annoying to take off.

Cooks Standard Multi-Ply Clad Stainless-Steel 10-Inch Fry Pan

Cooks Standard Multi-Ply Clad Stainless-Steel 10-Inch Fry PanFirst off, I think it's worth noting that I have never used any high end pans before.I made a switch from good ole Farberware that cost me $69 for like a 12-piece set. On the flip side, I do cook A LOT though and have my whole life.

That being said, I am still pretty happy with these pans.I bought both the 8' and the 10" mainly because of the design and the price.I wanted a good quality pan that would last and I have to say these blow my crap Farberware out of the water.I notice they cook a lot faster and they heat evenly. Things don't stick to them even with minimal butter or oil including eggs. This is definitely a solid pan with great construction.I find the hand to be very comfortable and it doesn't get hot even a little.

However, I have only had these a month now though and I already notice discoloration in the bottom of the inside. The outside looks good still though and again, I am not sure if this is normal or not.I wash them in the dishwasher but they are stated as dishwasher safe.I'm a little nervous on how they will hold up.I will update this in a few months.

****************************************************************************************************************

UPDATE: I've had these pans for almost two year now and I still love them. I give every pan a 5-star review but I will have to admit that I have managed to warp both of my 10" skillets. They still cook pretty evenly and I will admit that I am terribly hard on my pans and have probably overheated them on many occasions. The 8" skillets and the sauce pans have zero issues. I still recommend this set.

This pan is actually described as 10.5" by Cooks Standard's website. The box was also labeled 10.5".I measured it at 10-13/16" outer diameter. With the way the top edges curve out, I'd say 10.5" is a legit claim. The flat part (i.e. cooking surface) is about 8".The sides curve out from the base like a quarter-circle; I don't feel cheated out of space with this design. If you're like me and feel like 10" is a bit too small, but 12" is a bit too big, then this is the pan to get. There's not a lot of options for stainless tri-ply pans inside of 10"-12", and at this price, rarer still.

Yes, it's made in China (says "made in China" on the bottom).

Heats fast, cooks great, no issues.Working as hoped/expected!

Despite its apparent solid construction and advertised quality the stainless steel apparently is of inferior quality(Made in China)...After one use frying with oil the interior and exterior developed black spotting or pitting; and also, became stained a brownish color which I could not remove after repeated attempts at normal cleaning, even finally using "Barkeeper's Friend". Returning item and ordering a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet as a replacement...Still the best for long term durability, easy cleanup, and USA made!!

T-fal Banquet Non-Stick Fry Pans

T-fal Banquet Non-Stick 10.25 Inch Fry Pan, GreyI bought the 3 piece set because the way it is portrayed, gives the impression that the following are what is included:

8 Inch, 10.25 Inch, and 12.25 Inch

It isn't. They are 8 inch, 9.5 inch and 11 inch Saute Pans, NOT Frying pans. There IS a difference! I wouldn't have bought them if I'd known they were Saute pans and not the larger sizes.

The only con is that I actually don't need all 3 in everyday life. I use the smallest one for eggs or simple cooking. The largest one for fried rice and etc. I haven't used the middle one, yet, but the quality of these pans are very good, which is not surprising for t-fal. The design is a lot better than in the picture they show here. I think $27 for three pans is a wonderful deal!

Oh, by the way, you need to boil some water in them before you use them for the first time. They kinda smell bad in the beginning.

I am very satisfied with these pans. Everything is soooo much easier to cook. You don't need to use any nonstick stuff such as PAM or oil and everything seems to float on the surface. I've had them about 1 month now and use them often and they work great. I only wish they came with lids.

This item says it is induction compatible, but not really. Our high-end Bosch induction cook top has worked with EVERY SINGLE PAN we have used on it (that is induction friendly) EXCEPT this one.Even the $10 Walmart generic pans work better. This pan only works on a single "burner", the smallest of those on the stove which is also closest to the wall. That means the over-sized pan has two major problems for us:

1) The pan cannot be easily manipulated because it is too close to the back wall.

2) The pan does not get nearly hot enough.Even on 8-of-10 (which is normally VERY HOT for most pans) this thing barely gets warm other than dead-center in the bottom of the pan, a 6" diameter area. The sidesof the pan, which is the whole reason to get a pan of this style, stay cool enough that nothing cooks if it is not touching the middle center of the pan.

Maybe this pan works on other induction tops but definitely not ours.Sadly I cannot find the cardboard logo wrapper that was around the pan, so we dropped $40 on something that is useless to us.Maybe I can send it to my mother's place and it will work better on a standard electric range.

Sadly disappointed. It looks great, but I don't but pans to look at them... in fact they hide in the cabinets under the cook top, so this really serves zero purpose for us.

Cast Iron Sizzling Steak Plate Medium #tbsp2

Cast Iron Sizzling Steak Plate Medium #tbsp2The plates work fine.My only beef if their size.If you grill up a 12 oz steak, that is the only thing that will fit on the plate. If I could do it over again, I would have bought bigger ones.Oh well. The wooden base works well with the plate. One other thing, and it is probably obvious. If you eat your steak from this plate, the knife will scratch the black off the plate fairly quickly.

This product was very cheaply made. The wood tray was already cracked upon opening the box.The product clearly lacks quality materials.

Rachael Ray Stainless Steel II 6-Quart Covered Chef Pan with Helper Handle, Orange

Rachael Ray Stainless Steel II 6-Quart Covered Chef Pan with Helper Handle, Orangeawesome for the induction cook top! Like a slow cooker. Rachael Ray is the best! Love her show and food ideas!

I had bought the set that this matches but it did not come with this pan so I decided that I would pick this one up separately and after looking everywhere locally found that I could buy it here competitively priced.

I love this set but as anyone that has ever cooked with stainless steel will tell you; it's not the same as cooking on something non stick and requires more attention to heat etc…

I love the handles; they have a silicone or similar material covering the stainless handle and are angled in a way that makes pouring much more comfortable than most department store pots and pans. The clear lids are great and have similar handles so you can see what your cooking and not burn your fingers when removing the lids.

Swissmar KF-77043 8-Person Classic Raclette Party Grill, Red Enamel

Swissmar KF-77043 8-Person Classic Raclette Party Grill, Red EnamelThis raclette grill is authentic and functional. For the little space it takes, you can cook a delicious dinner without using other pans. The grilled food tastes like it was cooked at a barbecue grill. The grill on top has slightly higher edges to catch any sauce or liquid from spilling.Cleans very easily. The temperature knob is great.Highly recommended.

We just had our first day with this item... the family loved it! We had a big lunch (the traditional potatoes with cheeses & lunchmeats) then later, used it to make melty desserts like crepes, s'mores & mini tarte flambes (pre-cut toasted tortilla squares with sliced bananas & dark chocolate).

The recipe possibilities are endless. Mini-pizzas, sliders, baked pasta, etc., + the temp control is a good feature.

The product is light and pretty portable. Easy to clean and stow. Best feature I noticed right away; my family was having fun together! We're gonna keep this to ourselves awhile before we share with guests.I highly recommend!!!

We were introduced to raclette by our good friends who threw a great raclette dinner party. She was using this particular one and it was so easy to use and fun that we had to get one ourselves. All of the cooking surfaces are non-stick and easy to clean, and we love the fact that you can adjust the heat on the grill--we usually keep it high early on and then turn it down later.

I was worried that we would use it a couple of times and then it would get put in the closet like so many other kitchen appliances, but we actually use it often. It's great not just for entertaining, but also if we want to make a quick meal at home more special.

WearEver A834S974 Cook and Strain Stainless Steel Dishwasher Safe 10-Piece Cookware Set, Silver

WearEver A834S974 Cook and Strain Stainless Steel Dishwasher Safe 10-Piece Cookware Set, SilverI received this set as a gift three years ago, and I really love the set.At the time, I was not much of a cook and just out of college, but I am now married and we cook all the time with these pans. They are super sturdy and feel hefty without too much weight.I appreciate the "strain" feature and use it regularly.

The company also stands behind its products and responds to customers via email.I was missing one of the lids to the pans after a move.I contacted them about it, and they helped me to replace the piece. It was great service on their part, and although I know these pans are going to last me for years and years, I will probably buy WearEver again.

I recently upgraded my range from a gas model to an electric smooth surface cooktop (which I LOVE). I soon realized that a lot of my old (cheaper) cookware which had worked just fine on my old stove didn't work as well on my new one. Because of the nature of the design of this type of cooktop, the heat "transfers" to the cookware instead of the "direct" heat of conventional cooking. Bottom line is that your cookware needs to sit flat in order to perform well. Mine didn't. I bought this set because I wanted 4 things: 1)heavy-duty cookware to work with my new cooktop, 2)a non-stick finish in the fry pan only (but stainless steel in the pots); 3)a strainer built into the lids and 4)see-through clear lids. This is the only cookware I've found that met ALL of my criteria. I can tell a big difference between the new cookware and the old.

I have had a few occasions where I burned food on a pan and if you soak it, it cleans up very easily with steel wool. Many people have commented that they really like how they look. The double spouts on the pans make for very easy pouring, and I really love the strain feature in the cover. They also heat very evenly.

Progressive International Stainless Steel Splatter Screen

Progressive International Stainless Steel Splatter ScreenThis thing is exactly what I was looking for.Sturdy and durable (doesnt bend) with an ultra fine mesh screen.I think this is the 13 inch size (use for 12 inch skillets). It may seem that it is easy to find a splatter screen, but most of the ones out there are crap so people end up breaking them or not using them.I was looking for a good one for months, and this is the best out of the dozen or so that I looked at (including the ridiculous $50 All Clad model).Although not absolutely necessary for me, I like the added feet so that you can set this down without making a mess.

I did not originally intend to purchase this screen.Rather, I fancied a dome-shaped model which I saw in a store, twice as expensive as this one, until I read a Cook's Illustrated review which slammed the domed screen as working 'equally poorly on both small and large pans' (!).Their recommendation was an AMCO model with fine mesh, similar to this one but a bit flimsier, without the little feet, and a bit more expensive. They didn't test this model, but I wish they had, as it's the best I've seen.

This screen improves upon others with its fine mesh (more effective at catching spat oil), its heavier-gauge frame, and its little feet that keep the screen off the counter top, reinforce the screen's mesh, and serve as a trivet. Not just for light duty, either -my wife and I made a pork-loin fricassee in our big copper saute pan, which weighs about 9 pounds empty, and then plopped it down on top of the screen-as-trivet for table service.Impressively sturdy for a nine-dollar item!

The only irritation was that the half-inch feet prevented me from storing the screen between our microwave and the shelf above it, as we'd previously done with the drugstore model.(Which melted, hence this fine replacement)The solution became obvious after dinner -store it under the heavy pan.

If you need a good splatter screen, buy this one.All the others we saw have some detail or other that falls short. This one is cheap, elegant, sturdy, and big enough for a 12.5" (32cm) frying pan.Save yourself the trouble of fooling around with the lesser models, I've seen none that can stack up, let alone at the price point which Amazon is offering this one.

Buy Progressive International Stainless Steel Splatter Screen Now

Progressive International Deluxe Splatter Screen A pleasant surprise, it does what it was suppose to and does it well! The additional bracing across the screen area helps keep the screen not only flat on the cooking pan but the additional weight holds it there, unlike the competitions lighter weight models where the screen tends to tip towards the handle. The three little feet let you set in on the counter when removed and while they don't stop it from dripping a little, it's a lot less than putting the competitions screen down.It cleans up easily and is dishwasher safe!A "Thumbs Up" winner at a great price!Oh yes, it really does stop the grease and oil splatter!

This biggist advantage of this product is the very small holes in the screen.I have used other screens but they do not stop splatters nearly as well.I use mine almost every week and it has performed well for almost a year.I hand wash only. Also, the screen has changed colors from use but that has not affected its performance.

I was a little hesitant to spend over $10 for a splatter screen as most of them really aren't worth more than a few bucks. However, I am VERY glad that I spent the extra money on this one.

The quality of this item is top notch. It's much more sturdy than any others that I've seen.I've been using this splatter screen for a few months now and still love it.The feet on the bottom are very helpful in controlling messes. The handle is terrific (some screens only have either a D ring on the top or a thin handle) and seems to stay cool while in use.

This even got raves from my mother.

Universal N180 cast iron skillet set.

Universal N180 cast iron skillet set.I bought this set after the recent issues with Teflon. I did my research on all non-Teflon items and decided upon iron cast pans as the Aluminum pans do give off some aluminum into the food and may (key word here is may) contribute to Alzheimer's (according to some), and the Stainless steel gives off chromium and nickel into the foods, both of which I am allergic too. Pure copper with no aluminum is extremely expensive; a good set of a few items are $600+. There are also ceramic glass pots and pants made by Corning/Pyrex called Visionware (also known as Visions) that can be found on eBay (and a few are left here on Amazon) as they are no longer in production. Finally, there are also items made of ceramics and clay that should be safe alternatives

The items have been great so far, however, you will really want to do some research in google (or any other search engine) on how to care for them as there are some things that you really shouldn't do such as rinse a very hot pan in cold water (it will crack or break) etc. In addition, you will also want to so some research on how to "season" them which makes them very close to being non-stick (you basically smear them with an oil than can take high temperatures and "bake" the pans for an hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit). I did this and I just made eggs from eggbeaters without any oil which always used to stick in my nonstick Teflon pan, but very little stuck in my seasoned cast iron pan.

The downsides are that the handle can get hot when it is left on the stove for long period of time and that you cannot stick the pan into the dishwasher (and I tried....it will come out a little bit rustier-but the little rust does come off very easily). The sizes are also a little bit on the smaller side for me. So I think I will buy one more in a larger size.

The upsides are price, no chemicals (except for some iron) in your food, easy to care for, and very non stick when seasoned. This is a great starter set.

So I have a set of cast iron pots inherited from my grandmother need I tell u there from the 1900's so the best way I can tell you is to Use vegetable or corn oil to rub down your pots and pans down. With the new pots and pans this may take several times to do before u get the shine that I have on my pots keep in mind my grandmother had them from along time ago so it's prob the original. When washing them do not use SOS pads for this will scratch your pots .after washing and drying just take a Lil oil and rub the pans down and this will help season and keep from rusting. I'm 40 and my mother is 60 and the pots are still in good use and I hope to pass down to my kids as my mother still has several sets my grandmother sure did love her cast iron pots

I hope this helps but all in all they are the best. Did I mention that my pots are black oh and if you wash your dishes in bleach like u do please make sure you run it down with oil

I purchased this set of pans based on the product description which described them as natural cast iron and that they need to be seasoned.Well this is not the case. The pans arrived and in big bold letters read "pre-seasoned". I was very disappointed.I do not wish to have a sprayed on chemical on my pans.I am not sure what pans the one reviewer received because she stated that they need to be seasoned.Obviously she received different pans from the ones I received.I spoke with Goodmans and they said they would send me an RA label to return the pans.I will get back to everyone as to what kind of credit I am issued and the time it takes to receive the credit.

I bought these pans because I thought they were unseasoned. They all came pre-seasoned.I called the company and they did not even know the difference.I asked for a refund, because they did not have any unseasned pans to sell and they assured me I would be reimburse for shipping and the price of the pans. When my reimbursement notification came in the mail I was only refunded for the price of the pans.Really dissapointed.

Emeril Stainless Steel Saute Pan

Emeril Stainless Steel with Copper Dishwasher Safe 5-Quart Saute Pan with Lid, SilverI did quite a bit of research about pan types prior to getting this one.It came highly rated from CR and .I've only ever owned nonstick (anodized) before this and of course as with many, the non-stick coating gives up the ghost within about 3 yr.The promise here is that stainless will last nearly as long as cast iron without all of the worries about how to clean it.As recommended, I've used only low to med-heat and only cooked foods that generate their own non-stick (meats, poultry).I've never been able to deglaze before with non-stick this is pretty cool!Yes, if you're used to non-stick there is quite a bit more that gets stuck to the bottom of the pan (but I've been pretty good about letting it preheat 5 min before putting anything in). But, if you follow the included cleaning instructions (although they appear to be generically written, not just for stainless) it comes mostly clean.I can always make out where the meat was sitting. Then I toss a little barkeeper's friend in there, and BAM (sorry Emeril!) as good as new. Plus, I can cut food up while it's in the pan... try that with non-stick!I've only had it about a month and noted a little discoloration on the bit of copper that is visible on the bottom. But I'm not too worried about discoloration, just performance, and it works great.Of course, if it still works a year from now, I'll get back on here and put another review in.

Since I already own several pans from Emeril's stainless steel collection, I knew I would be satisfied with the performance of this one as well.

I chose the 2 qt. size because it's the optimum size for a small family. The sides are 3 inches high (the height of a regular l qt. saucepan) and the diameter is 8 1/4 inches (which is wider than a regular 2 qt. saucepan).Because of the way this pan is sized, it can be used for sauces, sauteing, browning or just heating leftovers. It's very well made and very versatile.

NOTE:While the 5 qt. size of this pan may have two handles, the 2 qt. size does not. This isn't a problem for me, but it might be for someone who is looking for a pan with 2 handles.

I highly recommend this product.

I bought this pan because the standard pans that come with sets are not large enough to prevent spills when handling large amounts of food. This 5 quart pan with its high sides is perfect for sauteing big volumes like a pound of spinach for example.

Fit and finish is perfect. Its bottom is very thick and has a very uniform heat distribution.Handle stays cool.See through cover is very helpful for adjusting the intensity of the heat. I'm using it even for stir fry dishes in place of a wok.It has turned into one of the most useful items in the kitchen.

Make sure to turn off the heat long before the cooking is over since it stays hot for a long long time because of its thick bottom.

I ordered the 5 quart. Despite other people's comments that they had issues with Amazon sending the wrong pan, I had no problems, thankfully! 5 quart Pan has a glass lid with a handle and the 5 quart pan itself has two handles (one long and one small on side).

I've had no issues and I'm very happy with my 5 quart Emeril Pan and Lid. I would recommend.

Swiss Diamond Pressure Cast Aluminum Non Stick Induction Fry Pan, Grey

Swiss Diamond Pressure Cast Aluminum Non Stick Induction Fry Pan, Grey, 12-1/2-InchWe have had our Swiss Diamond Induction Fry pan for almost a year and LOVE it.It is truly a non stick fry pan that is perfect for omelets, frying eggs, pancakes, rewarming, etc. I can use metal in it without worry. We can even flip our food in the air as it slides so easily.I just wish that I had a lid for it. Now we are saving for a large Swiss Diamond Induction skillet to fry golden brown potatoes without sticking.I am also looking to buy a small skillet for a wedding present.I would like to share something that will be useful for years to come.

I have looked for and used several non-stick pans. I am frustrated how after a year all of myprevious pans would lose their surface, and no longer be non-stick. I was hoping that I had found the holy grail, and paid well for it. Unfortunately, this pan still sticks, and does not keep up to expectations. Eggs still stick. The pan does wash up well, and is of solid construction. Yet after only using it for a month, the $100 plus price tag was not worth it.

I love cooking with this pan.The cooking surface area is larger than most pans of this type. However I'm disappointed in how easily It scratches. It works on induction cooktop which is the main reason I bought it.Nothing sticks to it and that is a huge plus.I have tried numerous types and done a lot of research and so far this is the best one I have found!

I purchased this fry pan because I moved to a new house that has an induction cooktop. It works perfectly on the cooktop with no issues. The pan is quite heavy for it's size. Not as heavy as cast iron but definitely heavier than our old non-stick skillet.Clean up is as easy as can be.Seems to be of top quality and I would no doubt recommend it.

If you like to have steady, even, and precise heating this is your pan. I was skeptical about paying so much for one stinking pan but wow, it just cooks so predictably and consistently. Perfect pancakes, perfect eggs, perfect fried veggies, perfect bacon even heating across the pan. No wobbles. No weird heat distribution.

I am using this on a Thermador induction cooktop. I also use the Emeril All-Clad pans they work ok but I only use now when the Swiss Diamond fry pan doesn't match what I'm cooking (like soup!).

Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch Open French Skillet

Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch Open French SkilletVery nice pan.I've been using it for a bout a week.Got the Farberware lid Farberware 10-Inch Glass Lid for it which fits nicely.Nonstick is great -I've cooked eggs and cheese and fried hamburgers without using any oil.

My only complaint is that they came with a "blah blah blah Nonstick" label stuck to the middle of the inside surface with some kind of adhesive. Now this is a stupid, stupid thing to do for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that it puts a chemical adhesive on your food surface.

But that notwithstanding, the adhesive is a permanent-stick adhesive!I tried to peel it off and the paper label separated and left the adhesive with a think layer of paper.I called the company and they said to use olive oil (didn't work) or creamy peanut butter to remove the adhesive.Well, the peanut butter worked pretty well, and I finally got it off.But what a headache!I get a nice new product and I have to spend 10 or 15 minutes struggling with it to get a stupid label off without damaging a sensitive surface.Makes you wonder just how "nonstick" that surface is... how ironic!

They have no business putting an adhesive label on your food surface at all.

This skillet warms up evenly, cooks beautifully , and the cleaning is a dream.

I own already the collection ofAnolon pots and pans and I adore every one of them.

I, without hesitation, recommend it highly.THE BEST.

Cuisinart French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless Non-Stick Skillets

Cuisinart FCT22-20NS French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless 8-Inch Nonstick SkilletI wrote this review on another product page Calphalon Unison Nonstick 8-Inch and 10-Inch Omelette Pan Set as I purchased them both specifically to compare them:

Nearly 10 months ago I purchased this item at the same time as another product, Cuisinart FCT22-20NS French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless 8-Inch Nonstick Skillet, specifically to compare them and guide my future purchases. After extensive daily usage of both products I can share my perspective and hope it helps others. I will be comparing only the 8 inch Calphalon pan to the 8 inch Cuisinart.

The Cuisinart product is a classic pro-style pan that seemed perfect for what I was after. That said, I was drawn to the Calphalon product by the attractive pricing and decent product reviews I found here on Amazon and elsewhere on the web. I am an avid appreciator of omelettes and there is no better task to test the sticky-factor of a pan than with omelettes especially as I am a flipper, not a folder.

I found both the Cuisinart and Calphalon pans to have good feel to them. The handle design and the weight of the pans is slightly different. The Cuisinart handle arcs higher which I preferred a bit more. The slope of the sides of the pan on the Calphalon is steeper leaving a larger cooking surface area on the bottom. For an omelette flipper the Cuisinart's less dramatic slope made it easier. That said, after a couple weeks of use I could achieve the same results with either.

Both pans perform well as a non-stick surface product. Very little effort to keep things from sticking and it required little to no butter or oil to get that result from both. These surfaces on both pans seemed to perform better once "broken in" even though that's not generally a characteristic of this material.

Now for durability. I invest way too much in cooking gear to use sharp tools on them. So I stick with just plastic tipped tongs or a silicone spatulas. Period. Regardless of my efforts, both pans are showing signs of scratches on the cooking surface a very disappointing finding. The Cuisinart looks to have held off scratches much better than the Calphalon. I expect that to start affecting the non-stick capabilities in a couple years as the scratches worsen. Both items are labeled as dishwasher safe and I did take advantage of that and it worked out well. The external surface of the Calphalon is easier to care for than the stainless surface on the Cuisinart.

So, it would seem that for half the price the Calphalon performed very well against the Cuisinart. The longevity of the Cuisinart will likely be the differenciator in the long run. But since I received two pans for pretty close to the same price in the Calphalon offering it really does win my vote in the end.

I just love it. Doing eggs mixed with cheese is a breeze. The price can't be beat for the quality you get.I highly recomend it for anyone expert or not. It heats up and holds the heat at a lower temp. Clean up is no prob. since nothing sticks.

Cuisinart Professional Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware (12 Piece Set)

Cuisinart Professional Tri-Ply Stainless Steel CookwareBought this very same set from Costco a few months ago. They sold out quickly and no longer sell it.I felt I had hit the jackpot because it was something like $179!It was an impulse buy since I had been looking at higher end cookware ($500 or more) and had decided it wasn't in the budget at that time.Did a few quick searches on my smartphone before buying.Reviews on a similar Cuisinart multiclad set were stellar. One of the reviews said this set was only slightly different than the other.I could tell from the demo pieces in the store that it was very good quality. They are solid and look to be very well made -with the possible exception of the basket part of the steamer insert...it is a bit thinner than others I have seen, but seems that it will hold up well if you don't do something impulsive like sit or stand on it.

And it IS very good quality for the price.Even with the power gas burner, I find that it can take a while to bring a boil compared to the regular pots we had before.Cuisinart instructs you not to use these pieces on high heat because the superior heat conduction will cause food to be prone to burn easily and therefore may be hard to clean.I have not had that issue at all.We find ourselves using high heat to achieve a boil or browning, and then turning down the heat to low or medium and using the lid and that works quite well.

Cleans up easily. I used the steamer insert on the stockpot to corral all of the debris used to make chicken stock, and it served the purpose very well.Nothing stuck or burned at the bottom of the pot despite cooking the stock for 2 days (boiling/simmering at various times). I initially overfilled the pot so there were spillovers between the pot and steamer insert early on that I didn't bother to clean until the stock was finished today (with the insert I was able to make 4 quarts -and could have made 5 or 6 without the insert). The residue was was baked-on and dark brown so I expected it to be hard to clean.Just wiped right off with a nylon abrasive sponge.

We fried some sausage links in the covered 4 QT saute pan.The residue was a bit baked on but that washed right off with a sponge in hot soapy water.

I like the glass lids. They are attractive, and being able to look in without opening the lid is nice, though with any condensation you will have to lift the lid anyway to really see what's going on.Other reviewers have noted you have to be extra careful with glass lids because they can shatter if dropped, so I try to be sure to put them only in safe places on the counter.

I'm a big fan of tri-ply now and will never buy anything else. We've had multiclad bottoms only and they don't compare to fully tri-ply.I can't give a long-term report on this cookware, but so far we have really liked it.I have never had All-Clad or anything else high-end so I really can't compare. One of the reviews I had seen on Amazon before purchasing this set said that it is in the same league in terms of how it cooks.

A few notes from the box:

* all-range capable (if I remember correctly from the brochure it is oven-safe but not sure about the lids)

* stay-cool handles...

* dishwasher safe (we hand-wash to preserve the finish)

* tapered rims for drip-free pouring

An aside:you can occasionally find single pieces of Calphalon tri-ply on deep discount at Macy's -less than half price if you avail yourself of the discounts and coupons. That's one way to add to your tri-ply collection.Calphalon appears to be a notch higher than this set -though I would wager it cooks the same. The workmanship/styling on Calphalon just looks better.I'm on the hunt for tri-ply pieces at an affordable price now! Mix 'n match is fine with me as long as the quality and price are there!

Hope this helps.Get a set if you can!Even at $200-300, knowing what I know now, I would definitely purchase this set even at those prices, because I have never seen a tri-ply set even close to being in that price range. If you do, snap it up!

Very sturdy pots and pans. No issues with them at all. For sure would recommend to others if asked about.

Presto 12" Electric Stainless Steel Covered Skillet

Presto 12' Electric Stainless Steel Covered SkilletPurchased this pan because it was the only one we could find without nonstick coating at the time.Leg design is very poor and the legs break off very easily. The handle sticks out and is in the way all the time.I have only had this a few months and am ready to throw in the gargage.Previous to this I had a Revere Way stainless electric frypan that was well over 20 years old before it died; we will be lucky if this pan makes it to one year.

The thermostate of this fry pan does not work. The pan is either on or off. There is NO temperature control. Save your money and buy something else. The Presto electric fry pan is just another example of Chinese Crap!

We bought this stainless steel frying pan for the same reason as previously mentioned. It was without a plastic coating. We found that the heat distribution was very poor, too hot over the coil and too cold in the middle. This made the thermostat useless. After a few months, the legs broke off, and we had to scrap it.
