Rachael Ray 3-pc. Nonstick Porcelain Enamel II Skillet Set, Orange.

Rachael Ray 3-pc. Nonstick Porcelain Enamel II Skillet Set, Orange. ()I haven't had nice quality skillets beforeThese are so awesomeThey make cleaning up so easy and cook eggs like art ( with only a little bit of spray ) Very happy when them! The only issue is the orange color under can get black due to stove flamesTake some extra scouring to make them bright and orange underneathOtherwise very happy

()I was so thrilled to receive this three pan hard enamel gift set from the Rachel Ray collection. The littlest pan is great great for caramelizing onions, sautéing small veggies for casseroles. The second is a perfect omelet pan as the size is perfect and your omelets coming away looking scrumptious. The third pan can handle larger projects. Each one is coated and nothing sticks.

Great gift idea and if you have Rachel Ray's orange dishware this makes a lovely addition.

()This 3-pan set (7.5", 9.25", and 11") is attractive and appears to be well-made, albeit not very heavy-duty.The outside is "hard enamel" and is two-toned orange in color (light orange approaching yellow near the rim down to almost burnt orange on bottom), including orange rubber handles. Here what the packaging says next to rachael ray's super-cute smiling mug: "Beautiful and Functional: stylish two-tone gradient exterior adds color and style to any kitchen. Plus, this cookware heats quickly and evenly, reducing "hot spots" that can burn foods."

These are advertised as non-stick pans that are "oven-safe to 350 degrees".They include a "Lifetime Limited Warranty."

Will have to take their word for it on most of the above.Time will tell how these pans respond to frequent use.So far, so good, however, the no-stick surfaces on pans have responded well.I would recommend to anyone never to blast these kinds of pans on high, as you're likely to scorch the bottom (no big deal) and start to destroy the no-stick surface (a bigger deal).

The smallest pan is one of those 'scramble an egg or two' pans that's good for very small jobs... this would make an awesome pan set for a college student or single person.

()Pretty simple: exactly as advertised...and I like the handles much better than the typical plastic-covered ones I don't have to worry about losing my grip for any reason.

I don't usually like the color orange, but it does brighten up the kitchen while I am cooking.

My mom likes my set so much, I think I'm going to have to get my mom her own set for Christmas.

Clipper Teflon Extra Grip Fry Pan

Clipper 215-00025 14-Inch Teflon Extra Grip Fry PanI was bit skeptic when i ordered this Pan as I wasnt sure if the teflon coating will be good. But now I'm glad i bought this..It is a small wonder in itself..the coating is really good & the food doesnt stick even if I put very less or no oil. The handle is good and has a rubbery grip. The size is good enough to cook for 1 or 2 people. I'll definitely recommend this to my friends & family.

Very well constructed, Heats quickly and evenly. So far no bubbling or peeling of non-stick surface. I would only like for clipper to add an opptional lid.

Winware 3-Ply Stainless Steel Fry Pans

Winware 3-Ply Stainless Steel 12 Inch Fry Pan with Silicone SleeveGot fed up with teflon coated pans, the coating is just too fragile so they wear out quickly and the food ends up sticking anyway. Plus, I'm sure they're not the best for your health. So, I went for a plain old stainless pan instead and I don't regret it! This pan is well made, it has a nice weight to it, and the silicone grip makes it easy to handle. It heats evenly, and retains that heat beautifully. I find I don't have to turn my burner up nearly as high as I did with my old pan. I've mainly used it for cooking eggs and bacon in the morning, so I can't really comment on cooking anything else. But for those items, it's been a dream.

There's a bit of a learning curve with stainless though, you can't just turn the heat on, throw some oil and food in and expect things not to stick. You have to heat the pan for a couple minutes before you put the oil in, then let the oil heat up for a bit. The goal is to get the pan and oil hot enough to cause the water in the food to vaporize, creating a cushion between the food and the pan (or at least, that's what google told me). You'll have to experiment with different temperatures; you don't want it too cold, but you don't want it too hot either. Too much heat will break the oil down and cause things to burn and stick anyway. It takes a few tries to get the balance just right, but you'll figure it out. Once you do, it's better than non-stick! I can slide a serving of scrambled eggs out onto a plate without leaving a trace in the pan. I simply wipe the remaining oil residue out with a paper towel and it's ready for next time! And yes, you have to use oil for EVERYTHING. Even greasy things like bacon, or else it'll stick. The cold fat will adhere like glue. You don't need to use more than a teaspoon though, so it's probably not going to kill you.

By the way, if things do start to stick badly (and if you're anything like me, it will happen in the beginning... a lot), simply pour a bit of hot tap water into the hot pan on the stove (not cold water, you don't want to warp the metal!) and scrape around with a spatula. You'll easily get most of the gunk out that way. Then take it to the sink and use a scrubber pad (you can do that with stainless, yay!) and some soap to clean out the rest. Good as new, no big deal.

So, if you're willing to do a little experimenting and develop the skills required to use it, buy this pan! The ladies dig guys who know how to use a stainless steel pan correctly. At least, that's what I like to believe...

This skillet is one of the very best I have ever used. It is very easy to clean, not to heavy and the silicone handle really helps.I would highly recommend it.

Buy Winware 3-Ply Stainless Steel Fry Pans Now

Nice heavy pan. The weight is a real pleasure. (Yes it is heavy, it's supposed to be, say thank you, don't complain.) Takes longer to heat up on my crappy electric stove than a thinner non-stick pan. But it's supposed to. I can also cook with almost exactly half the heat that my Calphalon non-stick pans require. I haven't cooked with All-Clad or any of the high end pans, I specifically tried this hoping I wouldn't have to pay the premium price for those. (Though I do have a few pieces of Le Creuset cast iron. The big dutch oven and an 11.5 inch skillet. So I do know what good performance is.)

My only complaint is the color of the red/pink silicone handle cover. This is commercial cookware, so I get it. Bright colors in a fast and busy kitchen. The color doesn't look bad, it's just not a color I especially like.

Another reviewer complained that the silicone handle cover was too short. It is a heavy pan, I suppose I can understand the point if you wanted to use two hands or if you didn't have a lot of strength in your wrists. But once again, this is commercial cookware. Anyone working as a cook is going to be able to manage a pan one handed. The cover is certainly long enough and with some to spare, to grip safely with one hand and even two if you're careful and need to move a full pan across the room.

All in all, it cooks a lot like my Le Creuset 11.5 inch cast iron in terms of heat distribution. Not quite as good, but it cost 25% as much too. And it's a lot easier to take care of.

Finally this really is a 3-ply pan, layers go all the way up the sides. Very uniformly made. I almost didn't try this because it has so few reviews. I'm glad I did. Pick up some barkeepers friend and you're set.

This is a good quality pan and is heavy and sturdy. My only complaint is that the silicone sleeve isn't long enough over the handle. My hand has to hold the metal part also, to balance the heavy pan, and it is not comfortable at all. The handle is very thin and rough to the touch. Otherwise, the pan cooks food very quickly and cleans up well.

Swiss Diamond Saute Pans

Swiss Diamond Nonstick 3.8-Qt. Cast Aluminum Open Sauté PanI've been cooking for over thirty years and can recommend this product without reservation. If you're in the market for a non-stick pan that isn't teflon, this is the pan for you.Even heating, a nice heft without being too heavy and easy cleanup these are some of the qualities of Swiss Diamond.I own a lot of expensive cookware. This brand is rapidly becoming my favorite.

The description for this product does say that it is virtually indestructible, but it does pit and scratch. However, even after the pits and scratches, still nothing sticks while cooking or cleaning! I have used the grill most, and this pan the third most, and I still love it. I also like that its bottom fits perfectly onto my large electric burner. I do wonder of whatever is pitting is coming off and into my food, but my guess is that, yes, it is. I am also guessing that it is diamonds coming out (I wish I could find some and sell themlol). Just like little kids eat rocks all day and nothing comes of it, I am not worried about my health the way I worry about using Teflon.

I've bought several of the Swiss Diamond pans in the past six months. They are holding up beautifully, almost a joy to wash them, and they are a good weight, very stable but not heavy like some ceramic or wrought iron pans. I just used my 10" frying pan in the oven after browning a pork roast in it on the stove top; almost no clean up afterwards. Now to see if they hold up year after year; fingers crossed.

I've had this 4.3 qt. saute pan now for a few months and it's the best skillet I've ever owned. It heats hotter than any other pan I've owned and everything cooks evenly and consistently on the cooking surface of the pan (and a little quicker too).I've not burned anything in it but, have made some things that are a little sticky and the clean up is extremely effortless.

I have not used metal utensils in my pan (and don't plan on doing so); I hope this will be the last skillet I ever have to buy.

I also own the 8" covered skillet and I love that pan as well; it's especially good for cooking eggs, omelets or any small portions of food. I bought this particular pan because it's one of the very few 8" pans I've found that come with a lid (clear, at that).

The lids for these pans are the best because you can see what's going on inside without having to lift the lid.

All in all, nothing sticks to these pans and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Wish I knew about Swiss Diamond a long time ago.

KitchenAid Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Skillet, Red

KitchenAid Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Skillet, RedThis is my second KitchenAid nonstick pan. It really is nonstick. I think pans like this have a lifespan since cleaning them eventually diminishes the nonstick-ed-ness -as was the case with KitchenAid pan #1. However, for the small investment, this pan really lets you slip out the food with ease and allows you to cook with no fat -or just a whisper of PAM.

This is a well-designed product. It looks very nice on the range, heats quickly and evenly, and cleans up very easily. The handle is comfortable as well.It is a pleasure to use.

This pan has been going strong for well over a year of daily use. I cook oil-free, no problems. My other new 8" ceramic coated pan does not work without oil, and eggs stick so sits in the cabinet unused so guess need to give away or return one day.

This KitchenAid pan is used to daily to make my egg white omelette and my daughter's pancakes. We never use above 6 on the electric coil stove, 10 being the highest, since no reason ever to go that high. We use with AMCO nylon cooking utensils with stainless handles, which we like better than OXO because handles thinner, take up less storage space in our drawers and utensil bucket.

No one has gotten sick here, like one reviewer mentioned, but always good to throw out first batches of anything cooked in new pan. I always do that. Soap and water not enough. Some people boil water in their new pans after cleaning as well before first use.

Think we bought this in a set from Target, not Amazon, though. Anything we can not find locally, we head straight to Amazon.

Just received the KitchenAid Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Skillet in gorgeous Red, washed it, put in a copious quantity of high grade olive oil, put it on a small burner at medium (4) temperature and when the oil got hot, I slipped in two large eggs and in a very short time I had the most beautiful pair of the best looking and tasting eggs I have ever eaten. The whites were done all the way through and the yolks cooked just right. The pan did most of it, helped out by the burner and olive oil.The heat was so even that I didn't have to touch the eggs except to slide them out of the pan onto a plate.I have been using the bargain basement pans that warp out of shape after a few usages, but never again.KitchenAid will get all my business from this day on.It is of heavy, high quality aluminum and has a great heft to it...TRY IT, YOU'LL BUY IT!

It's very easy to use. Trick to flip the pancake: get one of those cute tiny mini spatula that is about the size of each pancake or even smaller so that it won't touch the adjacent one while flipping. Use it to lift the pancake slightly, then with help of a butter knife or spreader or little fork, flip it over...easy without problem. But the pattern shows well only one side of the pancakes, unless you use a batter that doesn't bubble too easily, then you sometimes could have a slight pattern on the other side after flipped.

New Heavy Large 13" Cast Iron Fry Frying/Sautee Pan

New Heavy Large 13' Cast Iron Fry Frying/Sautee PanThere is a ridge around the outer edge of the bottom on this pan. This lifts most of the pan about 1/8" off a smooth cook top. Contact with the cook top is important for efficient, even and effective heating! Don't order this for a smooth top. However, the overall quality seems very good--no voids or sharp edges. It would probably be fine for a gas range or campfire...and I love cast iron cookware.

2 Corning Visions Vision Ware / Visionware Amber 7 inch & 10 inch Frying Pan / Skillet Set

2 Corning Visions Vision Ware / Visionware Amber 7 inch & 10 inch Frying Pan / Skillet SetI prefer a non-toxic pan for cooking which is why I purchased this glass cookware.

For cooking vegetables and items that don't stick really badly, the Visionware has been great. I use the 10" pan mainly to sautee or steam vegetables and to fry bacon and I use the 7" to scramble or fry eggs.

I tend to batch cook, so I have several of each (I picked them up along the way from eBay).

They clean up nicely when you soak them and scrub them out with a plastic scrubber. I then place them in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.

I have used Visionware for about 22 years, including this frying pan.

These frying pans have never failed or exploded on me.

However, there have been some complaints about exploding Visionware (Google is your friend).

Some incidents can be attributed to thermal shock such as running cool water in a hot pot, or placing the hot item on a cool surface, or putting the cookware on a heat source with no water in it.

Also, if you have chipped, cracked, or scratched cookware, it is recommended that you discard it.

I would recommend carefully checking your cookware and discarding it if it is damaged.

You will want to avoid scratching it with metal utensils.

Corning no longer manufactures this product.

I have used visions vision ware for years.Pieces got broken and I thought that was the end of my set but yeah! found it on Amazon!

Nordic Ware French Crepes & Wraps Pan and Dipping Dish

Nordic Ware French Crepes & Wraps Pan and Dipping DishThis is the best crepe maker I have ever used, I and I have been making crepes for about 25 years!Anyone who creates a mess on the counter using this product needs to work on their technique.

The main secret is to dip the crepe maker uniformly straight into the pan and hold it therefor no longer than about a second. Then immediately lift straight up and hold it there for another 1-2 seconds BEFORE turning it over. This will make the batter cook just enough so that it will not run when you turn it back over (no mess).

Another secret is to LIGHTLY oil the pan often. It takes some practice to find the right amount of oil, as too much oil will cause crepes to fall off into the pan and too little will allow the batter to burn.

One last bit of advice:the batter must be exactly the right consistency; not too thick and not too thin.Again, this takes practice. But with all these things in place, you will make beautiful, perfect crepes every time.I hope this helps.

My only (tiny) complaint about this product is that the batter pan should be heavier. When the batter gets very, VERY low, the pan must be held down to the counter so that the final few crepes do not stick to the pan.Other than that, this product is perfect!

***UPDATE***

Just like the other reviewer, my dipping pan also started to peel after about 3 uses. However, I called the manufacturer and they promptly sent a new one.So if that happens, call them and they will take care of you!

***NEW UPDATE 1/14/11***

I am happy to report that after a year my new dipping pan is still perfect no flaking!I suppose there was a bad batch at one point and that they fixed the issue. Also, don't be afraid to use it with an electric stove. That's what I have and it continues to work great! This is the third crepe maker I have had in 25 years and it is by leaps and bounds my favorite.I continue to give it an enthusiastic thumbs up!

Sizzling Iron Steak Platter w/ Wooden Base

Sizzling Iron Steak Platter w/ Wooden BaseVery disappointing !! The wooden tray looks like a 1st year Wood Shop student made the tray. There are so many tool marks in the wood and the varnish is of very poor quality! The cast iron handle which one would use to pick up the hot steel tray is of very poor workmanship! This is a casting and the company did not bother to remove the flash from casting. If I were to keep this I would have to take a file and do major filing to repair to the cast iron handle to make it work on the tray. The handle would not fit on the tray to lift the tray properly. As for the cast iron steel tray, the tray appeared to me as though it was PAINTED BLACK. I for one am not real keen on eating on black paint !!Bottom line, The product is over priced and I would NEVER recommend this product!

Product is great for steaks.I ordered one then another after using the first.Pros: Keeps steak hot and juices on plate, great for reheating on grill also.Cons: Pretty pricey and I hope the wooden base holds up as long as the cast iron plate. If it does, it was well worth the extra money.

This is a very shoddy piece of merchandise.Beside the fact that the wooden platter has a finish that wouldn't hold up for 2 washings, the very thin cast iron tray does not fit into the hole securely.I can see the whole thing slipping off and hitting the floor on the way back to the serving table. It is so difficult to determine quality from a small picture on the web and this item was the perfect example. It looked reasonably substantial in the photo, but when it arrived It looked like it should be offered for sale at the dollar store.

Ecolution Heavy Weight 11 Inch Griddle

Ecolution Heavy Weight 11 Inch GriddleI replaced an old Calphalon that had lost its finish and I like this pan more. The Ecolution's corners are more rounded which makes it better for cooking round fried eggs or round pancakes. It's a heavy -but not at all too heavy -pan.And the cool silicone handles are much better than the chrome handles on the old Calphalon. The guarantee of the finish is what sold me on this product. I would recommend it to anyone.

I haven't used it much, but so far the non-stick is working just fine and the pan is of a good solid weight. The "enamel" back of the pan is already really scratched up and bare metal is showing.I can't figure out how or why. I put padding btw my pans when I stack them. I don't put them in the dishwasher. The outside finish just isn't durable. Don't think it affects function, just appearance.

I don't use it often but it's solid, light, and heats evenly. The solid rubbery handle has a nice feel. My experiment with a cast iron pancake pan didn't end well as far as producing a product that looked round and edible.

Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 14-inch Carbon Steel Flat Bottom Lidded Wok Set

Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 14-inch Carbon Steel Flat Bottom Lidded Wok SetThis is a great wok. The carbon steel is easy to season, making it virtually non-stick (without the chemicals), the flat bottom means it is stable while sitting on a burner, and the heft keeps it from slipping around. The domed lid is great for steaming, and there is ample space inside for a bamboo steamer.

I priced these in retail stores in the area, as well as other outlets online, and this sells for at least a competitive price.

I have this wok and was surprised at the number of negative reviews...especially as regards rusting. I treat this wok in the same manner that I treat my cast-iron. Living in the South, everyone has a cast-iron skillet and knowledge of how to properly treat one, so maybe that give me an advantage, who knows? The fact is that you should dry this wok immediately after use and cleaning. I like to clean mine as soon as I'm done cooking b/c the residual heat makes it very easy to remove any leftover bits of food or sauce. To clean, I don't use any soap, so as not to disturb the seasoning...merely run hot water over it and scrub away any food particles with a stiff bristle brush. A bit of manuevering is needed b/c of the size of this wok and the small sink in my house, but all in all it takes no more than a minute or two to get it clean. Afterwards, I use a single paper towel to get the water off and wipe the inside with a bit of oil. In the two years I've owned this wok, I never had a bit of rust show up. I do, however, concede that the seasoning instructions that came with the wok aren't as good as what you can find online. I used the onion method (found a great vid on Youtube), and my wok developed a nice, brown seasoning that has, over the last couple of years, developed into a pitch black, non-stick area. The only down side to this is that I'd really love to start steaming some meals, and I worry that repeated use of boililng water would degrade the seasoning over time. In that respect, I suppose a non-stick variety, which didn't require an outside process, would be better suited.

Yes, the lid is thin and easy to ding, but the wok is heavy enough that I already need two hands to move it from point A to B, I don't want a heavy lid to contend with either. That's just personal preference; however, having Chinese friends whose woks (some actually brought over from the mainland) have lids just as thin and look like they've been through meteor shower, I believe this trait is actually motivated by functionality and authenticity than just the company trying cut corners.

My favorite part of this wok is how it cooks. I have a little 10 inch nonstick model that I love because it's so light and easy to work with, however, the nonstick never gets hot enough to add that bit of char that I find so tasty in stirfries. I recently made some shrimp with vegetables and white sauce, and (when done right) the shrimp have these wonderful little singed edges that add such a wonderful nuance to the dish. The trick to to stirfry each group separately and then join them together at the end so as not to disperse the heat too much. Will post pictures soon. I've cooked squid stirfry, fried rice, shrimp stirfry, bitter melon with pork, and a host of other things that turned out really well.

I honestly felt like I was stealing from somebody when I clicked the "purchase" button. After researching the best equipment for Asian cooking, the experts concluded that the carbon steel flat bottom wok scored top marks with professional chefs. This wok seems to be a pretty decent wok. I treated it according to instructions found on internet, and we used it once so far. I expect it to last for a long time if I keep it oiled well and dry after use. No complaints about the product itself. HOWEVER, the shipping of this item needs to be improved. The handle (a hollow, wooden piece with a bolt through it) was shipped inside the aluminum lid. The lid arrived with numerous dents since the handle is thrown around during shipping and the steel parts smack into the inside of the soft aluminum lid every time the box tumbles over during shipping (my best theory for the damage). Those bumps are easily visible on the outside of the otherwise great looking lid. I would say there are about 20 dents on the inside of the lid. It looks like someone took a little hammer and went to work on the inside. I decided to not care (and did notwant to send back the item), but the lid looked worse when it arrived than the lid of the wok we had in use for many years. Just so you know.

Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Nonstick Stainless Steel Skillet

Cuisinart MCP22-30HNSN MultiClad Pro Nonstick Stainless Steel 12-Inch SkilletI have owned three different nonstick skillets from Cuisinart over the last 10 years. I have replaced each one after the coating began to decompose from wear and tear. Please note that my first two skillets lasted for what I consider a reasonable and appropriate useful life. I was very happy with both of them. I recently received my third and latest version of this pan. The coating seems excellent and cooking with it is easy and cleanup is a breeze. I am deducting one star in this review because the quality of the handles has decreased from my previous purchases. The handle is now shorter and flimsier. I don't think it will break but it does not afford as solid a grip as the previous handle. The square accessory handle is also now a lighter gauge metal and the finish work on both handles seems of a lesser quality. I would still recommend this pan. It is a good value. Most of my cookware is all-clad or Le Creuset but I can't justify spending the requisite price for all-clad in non-stick when inevitably the coating degenerates. I don't think anyone would be unhappy with this skillet but also wanted to note my concerns with the latest construction.

This is a great pan for a ceramic top range. It's heavy, perfectly flat on the bottom, cooks evenly, cleans like a dream.

I have several pieces of All Clad cookware and needed to purchase a few more when I bought a new Induction cook top.Didn't want to spend the big bucks for the All Clad so tried the Cuisinart MultiClad at a much more reasonable price. The cookware is very well made, heats evenly on my cooktop and cleans up very nicely.I have since purchased a few additional Cuisinart MultiClad pieces and will do so in the future if I need other sizes.

Heats evenly. Nonstick surface does not scratch. Handle is useful in lifting the pan. Have used for about six months and am satisfied with the purchase.

We recently bought a new set worth of Cuisinart pots and pans, but did not get non-stick. After using them for a while we decided having some non-stick pans would be helpful for some things. We bought both the 10in and 12in versions of this pan, and both are excellent. Very heavy duty, and the non-stick surface is easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Raclette Party Grill

Raclette Party GrillAlthough I expected the unit to have a heat regulating dial, I decided to try the grill out anyway.

Well, it performed as expected. I bought two since I have a family of five.

My kids love Raclette night because they get to cook their own food.

We have used it twice now and has been a great addition to our family fun night. The only wish is that it came with tongs and spatulas.

Other than that, great grill for the money!

I am giving this product 3 stars because I can't speak to its functionality. Before I even thought about firing it up, I noticed that it was lacking the all-important heating dial that is shown in the images in the product description and that is also normally included with a traditional raclette anyway. I utilized amazon's awesomely easy and speedy return procedure, and it will be out of here on Monday. I hope to find a replacement at a later time, but my New Year's party plans will now have to be modified a bit.

The quality is not good, but if at least it works!!!

Now I have to send it to fix here, spend more money cause to send it back to the States will cost me more that a $100 dollars.

So bad.

Good value for the money. We use it for raclette and it fulfills its job. We'd wish a bit more power in the heater, on the other hand you do raclette with friends and the waiting is then acceptable.

We have not tried the grill option.
