Zwilling J.A. Henckels TruClad Thermolon Frypan

TruClad Non-Stick Skillet Size: 12-in.This is hands down the best non-stick skillet I've ever used. It does not use any of the toxic materials, has a superb heat distribution, requires very little oil, very easy to clean and you will have a perfect sear every time you use it.

Awesome!! Great addition to my cuisinart multiclad set. Use it mostly for eggs. I am going to purchase the 12" now as well

This is a remarkable pan. I have used the Calphalon's for years and the finish has all but burnt away.

I plan on purchasing the larger skillet as well to complete my set.

If your in the market for a great non-stick pan that wipes clean with a paper towel, this is it!

Stoneline 11" Eco-friendly Stone Coated Non-stick 2pc Frying Pan Set /Glass Lid

Stoneline 11' Eco-friendly Stone Coated Non-stick 2pc Frying Pan Set /Glass LidAfter many months of watching the infomercials on these sets, we finally dug into the savings and purchased them. What a mistake! After using them for about a month, the handle snapped off of the medium frying pan.Luckily, nobody was scalded as the pan crashed to the floor. The culprit was defective steel. It was totally crystalized at the handle.Upsetting to say the least, but the real nightmare began when we contacted them. They requested photographs which were promptly sent.Their response was no less than 4 promises of a replacement being "on its way".

After almost an entire year, a supervisor finally proposed sending a replacement BUT ONLY IN A DIFFERENT SIZE.It seems he didn't want to be bothered pulling the correct pan for us.The fact that there were so many broken promises from them over a year, he still didn't see fit to make sure we had the complete set which we paid for.

They do work as the infomercials show. But given the inferior quality of the cookware, as well as the absolutely deplorable customer service, we consider the set to be a waste. We're scared to use it and have never had a worse buying experience in 60 years.

A one star review is much more than the manufacturer deserves.

We sent a pan back six months and after calling them twice, we are still awaiting a replacement pan (they keep saying it's on back order.) Very unhappy.

I have been researching this product. Always check the BBB before you buy anything. Here is the link for this company's BBB profile: . This product has not lasted anyone longer than 8 months, and most are less than that! I don't know about anyone else but I cannot afford to pay $300 for this kind of cookware or $100 per piece every few months because the product does not perform the way it is advertised. Also there are many billing issues and consumers are not being refunded when over charged! Strongly caution!

When I bought this, it was as advertised. but after while food cooked started hanging on to the surface. unfortunate, lots of money for a pan. Won't buy any more. Still not a bad pan, use it a lot but not worth the price.

Mirro Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Fry Pan / Saute Pan Cookware

Mirro A7960274 Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Fry Pan / Saute Pan Cookware, RedI like this as a light-weight alternative to my existing pans, it's cheaper too. But the coating doesn't look as good as the other alternative pan I've tried from SilverStone2. Well, it's cheap enough that once I see anything bad like potential peeling off on the coating I can just throw it away. No one says those expensive pans several times this cost will last much longer.

Mirro Get A Grip 8-Inch Saute Pan is a solid, non stick, very light, with a soft easy grip handle.Works very well with my electric stove, with good contact to the heat element.

Starfrit Die-Cast Aluminum Nonstick 10-Inch Square Grill Pan with Foldable Handle

Starfrit Die-Cast Aluminum Nonstick 10-Inch Square Grill Pan with Foldable HandleI have only used this over a stove, not a fire, but it heats up really well.I heat it for 3-4 minutes first, then slap on the meat and it gets a really nice sizzle and broiler marks.the pan is clever too because it has grease spill indents on both sides to pour off grease.Only negative is the same that all these fold up pans have ... they fold up too easily. There needs to be a locking mechanism so they don't fold up when you are trying to cook with them. Therefore you cannot flip with this pan because the handle will not lock in place.but that is minor. It's also very light which is what I need since I'll be backpacking.

George Foreman GR10WSP1 36-Inch Grill, White

George Foreman GR10WSP1 36-Inch Grill, WhiteAs a diagnosed diabetic I finally caved in and got my first George Foreman grill to see if it could help with my meal planning. This model is tailor-made for single person useperfect for that bachelor pad or college dorm where space is a priority and you need to cook up something quick and easy.It comes with a plastic grease catcher, a plastic blunt tine spatula (which you might not need) and a cheap dual-sided scrubbing sponge.

It's small enough to fit on a corner of the counter or wherever you might want to place it, though the short power cord may inhibit your choice of location.I have a small place so mine sits on a corner of the kitchen table tapped into my universal power strip.

Like other GF grills there's no on/off switch, only an indicator light that lets you know both when the unit's properly heated to cook and when the food's done.Once plugged in it heats up pretty quicklyfive minutes or so.Teflon surface or nowhich I'm not a fan ofI suggest coating it with some cooking spray before putting the meat on.I've gone through turkey burgers, chicken breasts, tuna steaks, fish filletsyou name it; it all cooked up well-done without a hitch (if you're not into well-done you'll have to keep an eye on it).Depending upon whether you've marinated your meats or not, the grill doesn't get too messy but the grease catcher is always up to the task.

Cleaning up goes pretty easily, too.Your best bet is not to wait too long: unplug the unit, douse both surfaces with water after it's cooled off a little then scrub off the residue. The dual-sided sponge is pretty cheap and fell apart on me after too long so now I use a vegetable brush with a dab of liquid soap.

Overall, other than the short cord and cheap sponge I like my George. It does what it says, and definitely helps trim a lot of fat and oils out of my meals.Nice job.

I've had a several variations on the small George Foreman grills. I have literally worn most of them out, and they last when cared for! I use my GF a LOT. They are great when making a meal in the summer. It doesn't noticeably heat the room like the broiler in my oven and I think it uses much less power all year round. They are just the right size for one or two people.

I cooked steak, lamb, pork, chicken, salmon, tuna, cod, haddock, bluefish, trout, and a bunch of stuff that just isn't coming immediately to mind. It was all great. The biggest danger is over-cooking because it's so fast and cooks from both sides at once.

When cooking for one and there is space behind a steak or pork chop, I put slices of veggies like bell pepper and onions back there to cook with the steak. Behind the steak is a steamy spot on the grill and these veggies cook to perfection in the same time as the steak. Sometimes I rub them with olive oil for a nice taste.

The tilted design is great to get rid of grease and the hot plates sear the surface to seal in juices and flavor. With fish I like to use a very light coating of Mayo which seems to help make pink and white fish even more detectibly moist and tasty. With steak and meats the grill works great with rubs and spices. I really like the Paul Prudome "magic" line of spices. Yum! Even cooking a whole trout is great, albeit I needed to slice it in two at the ribs so it all fit at once. About 6 minutes between the plates and done to yummy perfection.

If you freeze steaks, a 6 oz 3/4" thick steak frozen solid and dropped on the hot plates will be done to medium in just about 10 minutes, in my experience steak cold out of the fridge of the same size/thickness is done to medium in about 5 to 6 minutes. The timing is just about second nature now.

The non-stick surface isn't perfect, though pretty good. Be careful with forks/knives and use a plastic spatula to remove fish as it has a greater tendency to stick than anything else.

Cleanup is oh so easy. While one must not put their little GF in the dishwasher or immerse it (I wish the plates were removable!) it's still pretty easy to clean.

First, just after the food comes off I give it a quick hot wipe with a paper towel to get the bulk off. Just takes a second to do this. After the meal I finish the clean-up by hanging the front of the GF over the sink and using a soapy wet sponge. I thoroughly wash the plates and clean the catch tray. Then I use the clean catch tray to rinse the plates of soap, then drain it and both air dry. Water all flows into the sink and it's really clean. It all takes a minute or two.

This white model is what I think of as the "classic" edition and I've owned and worn out 2 of this one. I think I can say it's my favorite!

This is a great tool. If it wasn't so great why would I keep buying them? :-) I even keep a spare on the shelf in case my current 4 year old one fails. I love my GF and its saved so much of my time while giving me great food to enjoy.

Zojirushi EA-TAC35TK Gourmet Sizzler Electric Griddle

Zojirushi EA-TAC35TK Gourmet Sizzler Electric GriddleThis seems to be a great unit. So far it cleans well without chipping, which was my biggest concern when ordering. One small problem is that there is a space between the cooking unit and the base unit which allows food to spill through.

The biggest concern I have to pass on is that this unit is really BIG. The description mentions that the cooking surface is 13.7", but does not mention that the base unit is 18.5" wide, so make sure you have a space to store it. I had to store mine in my oven.

In my experience, the manufacturer, Zojirushi, makes well-designed products with one or more innovative features that set their products apart from others. In this case the safety features stand out.

This large skillet comes in five pieces. The glass lid, the durable skillet with its titanium ceramic coating, the hot plate base, the plastic base in which everything else fits, and the temperature control plug. Everything comes apart for easy cleaning, so even though there is a large gap between the skillet and the base (otherwise it would melt) spills clean easily.

Because there is a large insulating base, you don't need to worry about damaging your counter tops even though the skillet heats up to 480 degrees. The plug cannot be inserted into the hot plate base unless the skillet is in position on top of the hot plate, and once it is plugged in the skillet locks in place. In other words, it is impossible to expose the hot plate while hot unless you specifically circumvent the safety features.

The unit comes with a little metal spatula, so yes, you can use metal utensils on the non-stick surface. The temperature gauge takes a little algebra to figure out, but the dots are set at 40 degree intervals starting from 280 up to 480 with a somewhat vague area labeled WARM.

The surface is large enough to cook and entire breakfast for one. Three medium sized pancakes... a batch of french toast... hash browns on one side and scrabbled tofu on the other. Just make sure your coffee pot isn't plugged into the same outlet or your could trip a fuse.

I also use the skillet for dinners, stir-fries and such. Because of the two-handle design and flat surface, two utensils and a little patience are required to scoop loose food out. I also fry up batches of chickpea cutlets, eight at a time, so I imagine one could fit quite a few cuts of meat together.

When I'm done, I let the unit cool, wash it up and store it in a large space underneath my counters. A full kitchen might have trouble accommodating the skillet, so a few pots and pans might need to be thrown out. Who needs them, anyway?

All in all, this skillet has alienated my electric stove. I use the stove for baking and for sauces but everything else goes into my sizzler.

Well, I needed to replace my old skillet that died. After hearing about the horrors of Teflon and other non-stick coatings that can come off and toxify foods, I conducted research into alternatives. I could not be happier with the titanium ceramic surface of this skillet! I use it all the time and with metal utensils, and it looks just like new. It is soooo easy to just wipe clean. It all disassembles easily so cleaning is not a problem. I saw in another review that there was a crevice food could fall into and not be reachable and I'm thinking that person must not realize it all comes apart. I love the size -just a little larger than most others. I highly recommend this skillet!!!

After just a few uses the surface started to flake off.I contacxted Zojirushi, and was told to return it to Zojirushi (I paid the shipping, $28.40), it was "repaired" and again after just a few uses, it PEELED off.I followed all the instructions and was very particular with it, but... I have several other Zojirushi products that I am happy with, but this one was a big disappointment.

Ditto to all of the raves on here!I use it for one-dish meals, desserts, breakfasts, everything. My child in college heats frozen pizzas in it, having no oven!

Calphalon Simply Calphalon Enamel Cast Iron Panini Pan, Red

Calphalon Simply Calphalon Enamel Cast Iron Panini Pan, RedTried the same prime rib eye from Costco at two different friends houses.Once was grilled on an outdoor grill, and once on a pan. Both tasted bad and looked bad.I decided to try the same steak myself so I went out and got this pan.Unbelievable pan.Followed the instruction to heat up the pan by letting it sit on medium heat for few minutes, then laid down the steak. The wonderful sound of sizzling started to pop. After 5 minutes, I turned the steak.OMG!!Beautiful grill mark, and the steak looked unbelievably tasty.I grilled the steak for about 20 minutes.5 minutes on each side, then 2 minutes each side twice.Sat it for another two minutes. It was a perfect medium well, and it was my first time grilling!!Never realized the prime rib eye from Costco can taste this good.

The couple down side for this pan is the weight and cleaning. It must weigh at least 15 lb.Cleaning is quite a hassle, but it helps if soak in water.

Over all, I am very satisfy with the pan.

Island Dogs 54677 Gun Egg Fryer, Silver

Island Dogs 54677 Gun Egg Fryer, SilverI got this as a gift for my brother that is into guns and eggs.He told me that the handle broke off of it the 3rd or 4th time he used it.other than that he loves it.I would recommend buying one but be careful.

I dont actually believe the title of this applies to the revolver shaped egg fryer, but its still pretty rad. The first thing that struck me when I saw it was the shape. It was clearly shaped like a gun, how sweet is that! I have been trying to think of ways to casually weaponize breakfast for sometime, and was delighted to find that this bad boy does the job. My eggs are so dangerous now, that I get lady babes visiting me just to have some of these bad ass gun shaped eggs i throw down breakfast steezy! Nothing goes better with my morning glass of Tuscan milk than eggs, and pancakes (I use that thing for pancakes too) shaped like guns. Often times, in the mornings I am reminded of how bad ass I am because of the gun shaped eggs I am eating. Every morning, before I go sells shoes and underwear at work, I think, "jesus I am dangerous and all because of my revolver fried eggs... ...and the three wolf moon shirt I wear on the daily." If you do your research you will find other gun shaped egg awesome makers too, I like the one with silencer.I cant wait to spend 8 dollars on this fantastic product...

As a rural South Texas bed and breakfast owner, I get a lot of liberal yahoos stopping in without a gun on their hip. When I ask 'em why they ain't packin', they usually say "I just don't believe people should have guns" or some other sissy boy mantra, I can't help but wonder how long we'll be free.

In the mornin' I make em some sunny side up eggs and tell 'em "Guess it's kill or be killed time, Streisand. NOW GET OUT!"

WearEver Pure Living Nonstick Ceramic Coating PTFE-PFOA-Cadmium Free Dishwasher Safe Cookware Set,

WearEver C944SA64 Pure Living Nonstick Ceramic Coating PTFE-PFOA-Cadmium Free Dishwasher Safe 10-Piece Cookware Set, Champagne GoldWhen I decided I wanted this set it was "temporarily unavailable" on Amazon, and I did not want to wait. So, I found it locally at a store that is taking over the world. They had it in red, and just a few bucks less. This was perfect, because it matches my red and white ceramic baking set.

What isn't shown in the picture is the 2 pans shown uncovered are actually a perfect fit for the 2 smallest lids. So all 5 pans in this set can be covered, just not at the same time.

I do really enjoy cooking in these pans. All of the lids have steam-holes. I like cooking rice in the saucepan because I don't have the problems of boiling over or sticking to the bottom like my old ones. So far, nothing has stuck to these pans. They have been easy to cook with and easy to clean.

I had been researching and shopping around for a new pan set for a while and decided on the wearever pure living set for several reasons. I wanted to stop using teflon. I like my cast iron, but it's not always convenient, nor is it truly non-stick. I considered hard anodized aluminum, but learned that cooking in those pans added aluminum to food, especially when cooking acidic foods such as lemon or tomato sauce. Also many such pans are still coated with teflon.

Once I decided on ceramic coated pans, this pan set was an easy choice. I found significantly lower reviews on other similarly priced pans. I did find some sets that were reviewed just as highly, but they were far more expensive. And not all of them were cadmium-free. Plus this wearever set has silicone handles, so they can safely go in the oven. I really like that.

In summary, I'm quite happy with my choice. I feel like I bought the best pans I could have in my price range.

I have a 7 year old WearEver Stainless cookware set that I've enjoyed, but it hasn't been the easiest set to fry certain foods in (sticking issues).Looking for healthier alternatives to non-stick I stumbled across the reviews for this set and took a gamble.

With WearEver brand sets it is hit or miss some are robust and very well built, others seem thin and flimsy, but this set is truly fantastic. The gold tone is very pretty, the white ceramic interior is amazing. We had accidently left a near empty pot of gravy on a lit element for over an hour, and nothing burned, warped, or melted -in fact, the pot wiped clean, no scrubbing needed. We have cooked spaghetti sauce and indian sauces in the pans no stains have resulted. The ceramic is more non-stick than any teflon pan I have ever had.I like this set over the other set available because of the pan sizes included.I wish amazon would stock this more readily -I have sent several friends over to buy a set but it always shows 'out of stock'

***Note: I purchased the 10 piece set, although my review is popping up under the 5 piece set.I don't know why they can't keep the 10 pc in stock, it is a much more user-friendly donfiguration of pans.

Pros:

healthier than most non-stick ones on the market (I wouldn't touch Teflon with a 9 foot pole)

the price is reasonable

the pieces are just the right shape and size

sturdy, not too light, heats pretty evenly

not nearly as heavy as enameled cast iron (which supposed to be THE healthiest cookware), which is great for the wrists

they do not slide around on my gas burner as some of my other pots.

cleans up really nicely and without effort. Seriously, no other cookware I owned before cleaned up as easily as this one, inside and out. A wipe of a sponge with a drop of dishsoap is all it takes, rinse, done. For this reason, I havent even felt the need to put it in the dishwasher saving energy.

it is husband-proof, even when he overboiled or burnt something, it cleaned up just as easily.

the handles stay cool and they are comfortable, I especially like the larger lid handles

the lids fit well and the tiny vent hole in the lid allows some steam to escape, preventing pressure from lifting the lid. No need to prop up the lid with a wooden spoon.

the lids are also heat proof and can be used in the oven as well

looks nice, the color goes with just about anything

I like the white interior, I can actually see how clean it is

made in USA, YAY, I'd like more manufacturing to return home. Sick of seeing contaminated Asian junk flooding our stores. (sorry, I couldn't resist adding that)

Cons:

can't think of any at this point.

don't care for the utensil set that came with it. I prefer silicone utensils.

We have been heavily using the set daily for 2 months now and it is still perfect, inside and out. I like it so much that I ordered a second set. That never happened before with a cookware set.

Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Inch Covered Wok with Combo Stainless Steel & Glass Lid

Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Inch Covered Wok with Combo Stainless Steel & Glass LidI have done about a dozen meals in this wok now.It cleans very easily, and has cooked some wonderful meals.I have read the manual, which is fine.I use an electric stove, and have found that I need to use a higher temperature than the manufacturer recommends in order to get the wok to perform as desired.I use a medium-high heat.

In general, the wok heats nicely and keeps food warm if you have to wait. The non-stick surface works very well. The food does not stay on the sides and has the tendency to slide down, but the cleaning of the wok afterwards is a snap.I don't believe you will find a nicer wok in this price range. To get a nicer wok you will have to go to china town, etc...

I have big hands and I find the handles a tiny bit small.I am 6'5" tall. The lid keeps the steam in, but be careful when tilting the lid as it will let all the water drop at once. The glass at the top of the lid is nice in theory, but it fogs with water droplets, so you really can't view once the lid is on.I use a hot pad when removing the lid because the metal part of the handle does get hot.

This wok is so far the best one that I have ever had.It is truly non-stick easy to clean & the glass-domed lid is a really nice touch, which gives the wok a very classy look.

I am addicted to cooking most of my meals in this wok from salmon fillets to one-pot family meals.

I highly recommend this wok with no doubt!

I highly recommend this wok to everyone! This is one of the most valuable items in my kitchen. My family uses this wok frequently and for a variety of dishes. This wok is the perfect size where it fits well on the stove with other pots and pans cooking at the same time. It is also wide and deep enough to make large amounts. I have used this wok to make large batches of Pad Thai and sauteed veggies with pasta and sauce. These dishes require the multi-tasking abilities of this amazing wok. The non-stick surface is one of the best I've ever experienced! The wok heats very evenly and easily washes clean when you're done. In the winter we make several different delicious Indian dishes and sauces using this wok. All of our friends who have had dinner at our home have commented on how versatile and amazing this wok is. Several of them have even purchased it for themselves. This wok is a great value for all the money you will save making restaurant quality meals at home!!
