BergHOFF Copper Clad 8-Inch Stainless Steel Fry Pan Non-Stick

BergHOFF Copper Clad 8-Inch Stainless Steel Fry Pan Non-Stick! am loving this... so perfect for my induction cooker and is so well built... the other brand that I purchased which was a so called ceramic thing were nothing but a bunch of junk, it got scrached with a plastic laddle and does not work on my induction cooker ???.... This is the best for the buck....

Small by diameter (exactly what I was looking for to cook for 2), but deep enough which allows for a variety of recipes to cook.

Perfect quality

Well, I was a little surprised at how small it was.I have an 8 inch pan at home and it's a little bigger but I guess it has to do with how it's shaped? Not sure.Anyway, I do like it...I hope that I can afford the whole set one day.

All-Clad Stainless 14-Inch Fry Pan

All-Clad Stainless 14-Inch Fry PanI was very hesitant to spend close to $160 on a single fry pan, but I had heard so many good things about All-Clad and thought it would be a wise investment. For the first 6 months, the pan was great.I loved the large size and used it often.I was just about ready to invest in an entire set of All-Clad cookware when my pan warped.I was using it on an electric stove as usual, and the pan just simply warped.I was thoroughly disappointed that a $160 pan would warp during normal use.I won't be spending this kind of money again.

****Follow-up.I contacted All-Clad regarding the warped pan-they had me send it in for evaluation, and yesterday a brand new one showed up at my door.I'm impressed at their customer service and the fact that they stand behind their product.

I got this pan a month ago, mainly to round out my collection (wow, it looks great hanging on my rack!)To be honest, I was a bit worried about how much use I'd actually get out of it.

How wrong I was! It's absolutely spectacular for recipies that require large amounts of sauted vegatables.I love being able to saute several large onions, peppers, etc. at the same time.

Where it really shines is searing meat in prepartion for roasting.I love to roast, particularly pork and lamb.Only a pan like this lets you sear an entire pork tenderloin without any acrobatics.

It's definitely not for everyone, but I really enjoy using it.

Yes, it's a REALLY big pan!A perfect cookware addition for the serious cook.Surprisingly, the pan isn't as heavy as I expected and is a manageable size.It will easily saute 6 to 8 chicken breasts at once without crowding and is perfect for large batches. It heats evenly and lives up to the All-Clad quality I expected.Easy cleanup, too!Highly recommended.

Lodge Logic LMP3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Melting Pot, 14-Ounce

Lodge Logic LMP3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Melting Pot, 14-OunceI'm replacing all my cookware with Lodge Logic. This little pot seemed like a luxury item, since I expected to use it to melt chocolate and butter or scald milk. But I cook and bake a lot so decided to treat myself to a specialty item.

It was delivered a few minutes ago, and I can immediately see a lot of uses for it, including: reheating gravy, heating a single serving of vegetables or other side dish, warming a 14 oz. serving of soup. And of course, melting chocolate and butter.

It has a pleasing shape, and the handle is a good length.Spouts on either side will make pouring easy and neat.Another winner, Lodge!

I bought this thinking it would get used once in a while to melt some butter or heat up some syrup.I find that it is the most used cast iron tool in my arsenal. It has almost eliminated the use of my microwave which is a good thing.Left over soups, chili, and just about anything else that is liquid or semi-solid gets heated in this thing. It is the perfect size for leftovers and being quite small it heats up quick for cast iron.It keeps your syrup warm on the table until your last pancake and you can pour it from the pot without a mess.It cleans easy, nothing sticks to it and doesn't take up space. This is a must have for any collector of fine cast iron cookware or anyone that cooks for that matter.

I really love this little pot.It is a perfect size for so many uses.It is very impressively made, as are all the US-made Lodge products.

I also enjoy the gentle pour spouts on each side.I'm left-handed so chances are if there was only a spout on one side it would be the wrong one.

I agree with P. Callen that it was not packed well, however.Mine was just tossed into the bottom of a much larger box with some of those air bags so it was jostling around.I was lucky that it came from the amazon warehouse that is only 30 miles from my house but I imagine if I had to travel, and be handled, more it would have been at peril.Just going from my UPS hub (the same one for the amazon warehouse) to delivery the box was already showing wear.

I own lots of Lodge items, but won't bore you with the merits of using cast iron especially since I don't think a pot of this size really demonstrates all the strengths of cast iron cookware.

I purchased this little guy for 1 main reason and I have not been disappointed. I cook a lot of Indian dishes things like dal and meat/veg curries. A common technique in Indian cooking is to heat some fat in a little pot and quickly add spices, chilies, ginger, garlic, etc. for a minute or so. Then you dump the mix into another pot which has cooked the main ingredient things like lentils, beans, etc. The technique is called "tarka" and is an easy way to add a lot of flavor to a dish. This little pot is the perfect size for this not too big, not too small.

I have since discovered another use for the pot. It is perfect for cooking one egg! You need very little water to poach and the small size keeps the egg compact. It's great for frying too since the egg doesn't stick to the properly seasoned cast iron.

The only problem I have with the pot is that the bottom diameter is a bit too small. I have a hard time keeping it stable on my gas burners. I fix that problem by placing a small cast iron trivet between the pot and the burner.

Want Lodge Logic LMP3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Melting Pot, 14-Ounce Discount?

I have been using a lodge logic skillet and 5 quart pot and love them. However, I live by myself and eggs are my main source of protein.I love soft-poached eggs and it was bothering me every morning and night when I boiled two inches of water in the 5 quart pot because it was so wasteful of water, natural gas, and vegetable oil.So I took a chance and ordered this to poach my eggs.

I am not disappointed. It only takes a few minutes for the water to boil and a minute later I am eating, as opposed to the length of time it took before, about four times the time to boiling. Not only that, but after the eggs come out I drop in a broth cube and have some "egg drop" soup before I eat my eggs.I plan on using it to make a single serving eggnog (I drink the good kind that risks salmonella but it's worth it completely different from the carton in the dairy section!)

I do have to say that the bottom is not wide enough to intercept direct flame from a regular gas burner no doubt if it was the time to boiling would be cut even further. But I am still saving 3/4 of the gas and water, which is no longer dumped down the drain since it is the right amount for a cup of broth.

I think I also like the flexibility of cast iron.If I suddenly have a whim I can put it on the grill or over a wood based campfire. My non-cast iron has been retired.

Calphalon Unison Nonstick Saute Pans

Calphalon Unison Nonstick 6 Quart Saute Pan with LidI learned how to cook at the tender age of ten, thanks to 4-H Home Economics back in the day. From even back then, the need for quality cookware was drilled into me.I've always had the best I could afford (which, for many years, wasn't much especially during the negative-income days of the college years) and for a long time that meant having one stainless-steel saute pan and one nonstick saute pan.I'd use the stainless when I wanted to create a lovely browned meat and then deglaze the pan with wine or broth. The nonstick pan got pulled out when I was making something more delicate, such as a fish fillet.

This year, my ten-year-old nonstick saute bit the dust.I noted the coating starting to bubble a bit, and I wasn't willing to risk using it any longer.I began my search for a replacement and was led to the Calphalon Unison line. After much research and hemming and hawing, I decided to go with the reasonably-priced 3-qt. saute the exact size match to my old pan would have been the 4-qt, but I wasn't quite ready to shell out over $200 for a pan yet untried. Now, of course, I wish I had sprung for the slightly larger size.

In short, not only has this pan replaced my trashed nonstick, I have no problem using it in place of my traditional tri-ply stainless much of the time.

It browns meats, but releases foods (and mess!) easily. It goes in the oven.It goes in the dishwasher. The handle is sturdy. There's a helper handle (one reason I vetoed a similar pan during my search) for when you need the extra stability. For dinner tonight, I seared a pork tenderloin on all sides and then put it in the oven to finish. After a quick rinse, the pan went into the dishwasher. Is it any wonder this is my new favorite pan?

I am upgrading my original Caphalon to the Unison line.It is everything that the original was and is non-stick and can go in the dishwasher.A great investment.

I got the covered 3 qt SEAR pan just before xmas.I have all clad, seasoned cast iron, grill pans etc. This one leaves them all in the dust.I made steaks with a beautiful CRUST--not just browned, and the insides were beautiful tender med. rare, juicy and lovely pan sauce.I did rub a bit of olive oil on the one side of steak to get them going. (Would have been no problem to cook further but we like med. rare).I did not put the pan in the dishwasher because I use Finish detergent with bleach and instructions say don't use bleach additive detergent. But it cleans up so effortlessly it would be a waste to dishwasher it.I have browned meatballs in it, beautiful browning, nice fond in pan not burnt like in my all-clad stainless, again it just about cleans on its own.Browned pork ribs and chicken last couple of nights--perfect!The only thing I would change is to get a larger size---which I will do very soon!Costly, but worth every penny to me.

Great item, does what it says, but don't buy from Amazon thinking you're getting a deal.

Amazon advertises this product as listing for $200, and claims to be selling it for 50% off, but, actually they are selling it at the MSRP price of $99.99.

I have used Calphalon Nonstick cookware for years, but have mixed up my original set with different lines because I have found that several pan surfaces have peeled quite a bit or have deep scratches. I had to return a 12" skillet twice before (in quick succession) due to bad peeling.Mind you, I only use Calphalon nylon utensils, hand wash and gently handle them and am always mindful of the heat while cooking. So, when I saw the Unison line, I was really encouraged by all the positive reviews all 5 stars here! I bought the 3-qt saute pan today (to replace an older Professional Nonstick II one because it was peeling badly in the center). The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was that my glass lid had a short, deep scratch. I thought about going back to the store to replace the lid since I paid over $100 with tax for this pan. But then I wondered if I was being silly, it was about half an inch long...I guess I could live with it, I thought. But it nagged at me the rest of the evening. I tried to put it out of my mind once I started to cook and was very excited to use this pan for the first time. I browned hamburger meat for tacos following all the directions before use, including wiping the pan first with a paper towel soaked with olive oil. The food turned out great. Later, after the pan had fully cooled, I wiped it out with a paper towel and then gently washed it with warm, soapy water. As I was drying the pan, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only were there scratch marks on the surface, but there was a small chip already forming. I was horrified and thought maybe it was a water mark. So, I wiped the spot with my cloth, only to make the peeling grow a bit more. UNBELIEVABLE. Needless to say, I'm returning this pan tomorrow for a full refund. I recently purchased the 12" Unison Slide omelette pan with lid, but have yet to use it. I wonder if I should even bother now...maybe just bring it back to the store tomorrow, too. Ugh. Buyer beware.

Colourworks 24 cm Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan

Colourworks Ceramic Non-Stick 24cm Frying Pan - PinkWho could ask for more. I love his pan.Not only is it a cheery color but I have been using mine for months and it still looks like new. It's not going to be on the Iron Chef list of greatest culinary tools but I wouldn't swap mine out because it IS pink!

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 13-Inch Deep Skillet

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 13-Inch Deep SkilletI bought this item to replace an aging skillet. The old one used to be nonstick but has become scratched over the years.I bought the Calphalon to replace it and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.Deep enough to make a good quantity of pasta sauce, but with sides that slope somewhat, making pouring easier. So far nothing has stuck to it.I've cooked meat, sauce, even eggs and dishes containing cheese. No sticking, no issues at all.Washes out easily in the sink.Heed the warnings that come with this pan.Don't wash it in your dishwasher. You may use soft plastic or high temperature rubber or even wooden utensils in this pan.Avoid metal, since it can scratch the nonstick surface off.Absolutely awesome pan, I highly recommend it!

I didn't get this pot here found it at TJ Maxx for 60% less. This pot is heavy, and very heavy when you get it full of food, but it is sturdy and heats very evenly. I have the whole collection of Calphalon Contemporary now and have been very happy with them. I've had some of the pots for 2+ years and they still look brand new.

Wish I bought this item from Amazon, now I'll have to pay for shipping to get it returned. We primarily used it for eggs and quesadillas (not high temperatures) and the pan sunk in the middle somehow...it doesn't sit flat against my glass cooktop and therefore doesn't heat evenly. I had the same problem that I had with my $25 discount store pans!

T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Expert Interior Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Anti-Warp Base Dis

T-fal E9180764 Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Expert Interior Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Anti-Warp Base Dishwasher Safe 12-Inch Saute / Fry Pan Cookware, GrayI am no chef or cook.I only cook eggs in this pan in the morning, and I have been looking the world over for a decent well made nonstick pan.I bought those green ones you see on tv and they require prepping like wiping oil on the inside and then cooking them until they reach a certain temp.I returned it immediately.Another brand I looked at were the stone pans you see on tv.Mixed reviews there (I did not purchase the stone pans because they were expensive and the reviewers stated that returning these pans were difficult).

The T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized pan is solid and well made.It is about 10 inches on the inner dimension even though is it is advertized as 12 inch. This pan is huge however, and holds a lot of eggs.

This pan is truly nonstick.I mean I do not put any butter or spray Pam or silicone spray inside the pan and my eggs always slip right out onto the plate. They are easy to clean.I now do not use butter, oil, or Pam when I cook my eggs.I love this pan.I wished my entire set was T-Fal.I have stainless.

The heading say's it all for me..the pan still warps out in the middle after a few uses..it was perfect the first time i used

it..and this pan is very heavy i figured that it wouldn't warp like all the rest i got from t-fal..but it did and i'm stuck with it

for atleast a year while the NON-STICK surface lasts..

Then it's time to buy another one i just don't understand it,i don't put it on high heat..i wash it by handjust like it says

to do..i mean i treat this pan with respect and this is how it rewards me..so in conclusion it's just like the rest of t-fals

crap..so my advice is if i had to do it again i think i wouldn't but your not me..

This product not is warp-resistant. It lasted me approx. a half year and then warped at the bottom. It says it can handle the dishwasher. I had always hand-washed it up until a month ago. Then it warped. I suspect this has to do with the dishwasher. Either way, it doesn't cook evenly anymore due to the warping. For something that costs almost $40 for a single piece of cookware, I feel it should last at least a year or there should bewarning that it cannot really handle the dishwasher. Also, when I explained this to the seller, I was ignored.

Country of Origin: China

Price Paid: $30.36 (excluding CA Tax....)

I been on the fence about purchasing non stick for the longest due to all the health concerns about peeling and chipped non stick coating...

I researched for many years on non stick pans and were still unsure.

Finally, It came down to a set of four pans at $140 of another brand and T Fal, a stand alone pan at about $30.

I read the review on the other highly praised T Fal non stick pan but I read all the one star reviews regarding the "pop up" or warp issue.

This T Fal model was to address that issue and boy DID it answer it....positively.

We used it last night, no pop up!

Pros.

No lead, no cadmium, no PFOA means it's safe non stick...according to T-Fal.

The non stick coating on this pan is PTFE which according to T Fal is inert.

It's supposedly metal utensil friendly but I wouldn't take that chance.I bought OXO silicone spatula just for this pan.

At 12", The pan's lot bigger than I thought it would be.

However, It's also lot lighter then it looks,so it wasn't at all hard to handle.

It's solidly built with a non slip and comfortable handle. The handle didn't get hot while we're using it.

Cons:

No cons ...yet.

Only thing I can nit pick is that after first real world use, the water's not completely rolling off the non stick surface, but instead beading. When I first got the pan and washed it, the water would just....rolled off the non stick surface and only beaded on the outer surface of the pan.

This can be my winner of 2012 P.O.T.Y. award if it stayed non stick for next five years.

It might get there if i FOLLOW their very important tips of "not using higher then medium heat."

which I had no idea ........seems like a great product,so far.

Want T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Expert Interior Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Anti-Warp Base Dis Discount?

I ordered this frying pan since the old one from Costco lost its non-stick layer.

Pros:

The pan was built in good quality. It gets heated quickly and it is light to handle.

Cons:

A bit too shallow and it is not good for saute veggie. But it works well with Fish, Steak, and eggs.

LODGE L8SQ3 SQUARE SKILLET 10-1/21"

LODGE L8SQ3 SQUARE SKILLET 10-1/21'I have a huge collection of Lodge cookware and this is the pan I use most.It is a great, convenient size and works superbly.I highly recommend any of Lodge's products.

I received this pan as a gift about 2 years ago.I wasn't familiar with the seasoning process or how to care for cast-iron, so it wasn't effective and it sat in the bottom of the pan drawer.About a year ago, I learned about the seasoning process and how to care for cast iron, so I figured I'd give it another go.

This has now become the go-to pan for me, and I use it to cook everything. My Calphalon stainless set sits idle most days now.

It's a little frustrating at first (like any cast-iron), but once you have a good season, you can cook pretty much anything and clean-up takes literally one minute with hot water and a plastic scotch-brite pad.

My only complaint about the square pan is not having a cover that fits, but I think it makes up for it by having almost 30% more cooking area than a circle pan of the same dimensions.

It cooks evenly and is so easy to stir-fry vegetables and everything else because the size is large and the sides of the pan are high so your food doesn't flip out of the pan. Nothing sticks and the food slides around easily.Clean-up is easy because nothing sticks.

I really do love it and want to change all of my cookware to this product.

Heats up very quickly (do not go above medium).

So easy to clean it is ridiculous.

The cover fits the frying pan as well.

The quality is fantastic. It's not like the "Green" pans that only have a thin, painted-on coating of ceramic that wears off in two months. There is an actual, full layer of ceramic over the metal. Then another coating over that.

I've used it once, and I'm very pleased.I'm trying to avoid using anything aluminum.I've read that aluminum can cause, or at least contribute to, Alzheimers. So, I tried to find a pan that is NOT aluminum. That is not easy. They all seem to have it, at least the non-stick ones.I found this ceramic coated one, and it is really non-stick.The food slides right off of it. Actually, it should be 4 1/2 starts to start. Some things I noticed with the pan.The first time you heat it the pan there was some off-gassing that does affect the flavor of the first couple of things you cook.I performed the seasoning as the as instructed and have only washed via soap and water.I have cooked eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, and various other meals with NO OIL!well the grilled cheese had margarine on the bread ...You do not need oil, and the cooking is odd because things boil/cook because of heat instead of frying because of oil. While odd, still very tasty!Another thing, these pans need very little heat to cook. They distribute heat very evenly and rapidly, if you cook on too high of heat it will burn, possibly stick food to the pan.I cook with gas and the flame is med to med low about 1" from the pan.Cleanup couldn't be easier, no staining evident after cooking multiple tomato sauce dishes as well.I'll update after a few months.

Stansport Gourmet Castware Fry Pans

Stansport Gourmet Castware 10 1/2 Inch Fry Pan, RedIt is easy to clean and cooks evenly and quickly. It is a heavy and very attractive pan. I would diffently recommend this product.

the size is larger than one can imagine, heavy solid, takes two hands and arms to lift it so this is not for the weak. It arrived with the box slightly opened, but th einner box from the factory was intact. Th lid had a few chips won't affect usage but looks defective from the start. I have a induction cermatic top stove and I have not tried to use it as of yet will have to season this first and give it a go. Kinda concerned because the bottom is not completely flat and has a ridge on bottom edge of pan, will this affect heating and cooking? I won't know until I use it on the stove. Anyways it should be an excellent camp pan if the stove top fails. I love the red speckling on the exterior.
