Lodge Logic L6SC3 Cast Iron Lid, 9-inch

Lodge Logic L6SC3 Cast Iron Lid, 9-inchgot rid of the microwave and don't have a toaster oven. This lid makes the pan essentially a little oven of sorts. It also allows for frying up things that splatter while containing the mess, sometimes I use it with the lid ajar so steam escapes and splatters mostly don't.I'm probably going to buy lids for presents for members of my family, cause I like having a lid that much.

Something to keep in mind is that the lid has to be treated the same way as a cast iron pan, for me that involves mostly inverting it over an open flame after use.Failure to do this will result in a rusty lid, you don't really want that.Mostly I don't wash it cause by and large it is covered in either water or oil/fat and I'm ok with baking those out.

Purchased for a 9 inch skillet,; it does not fit properly, however, it fits my chef skillet perfect.; am very happy about that. Need to order a 9.5" lid for the 9" skillet.

REVERSIBLE PRE-SEASONED CAST IRON

REVERSIBLE PRE-SEASONED CAST IRONI love this griddle. I set it on my stovetop over 2 burners and have very even heat distribution. The grooved side is great for steaks, burgers, and chicken, and the flat side makes perfect pancakes, eggs, etc.

Cast iron is a great surface to cook on. For many people they are hesitant to use cast iron because they believe food sticks too much. If the griddle is seasoned properly, and not scrubbed clean with a scouring pad and soap, food rarely sticks. To season the pan simply lightly oil the pan surfaces and bake for half an hour. When I make pancakes I do a quick re-seasoning by making sure the griddle is hot before I put any oil or food on it. Then, prior to making my first pancake, I spread a light coat of batter on the cooking surface and let it brown up good. I then scrape it off with my thinnest steel spatula. Now I'm ready to cook perfect pancakes that turn easily, without sticking. If you still have a sticking problem, try making smaller cakes--they're easier to handle.

Anyway, I highly recommend this product. I also use mine on camping trips and do not hesitate to throw it on top of hot coals. The thing is indestructible, and the more you use it, the better it gets.

I decided to check Target before shelling out $55 plus shipping for this griddle. Glad I did, because ChefMate makes the *exact* same one (complete with same handles and round spot on both sides) for $20.Great griddle, but overpriced here.

Black Replacement Bakelite Handle for Pan Pot Cookware

Black Replacement Bakelite Handle for Pan Pot CookwareIf the pan you want to save is going to pair and work with a handle this cheap then just buy a new pan. This handle will only fit some pans that accept the same size screw and once in place you're going to have a short, flimsy solution. The metal band is very cheap and thin.

This is the type of handle you'll find on a $10 pan.

It comes down to it not being nice enough to be used on pots/pans that are worth saving. We have a nice older double bottom 1.5 quart pan that the handle broke on.I ended up using the pot in my garage because it's not really sturdy enough for kitchen use and looks like a cheap pot handle with mold lines being noticeable and of questionable strength.j

I was hesitant to order from other reviews, but needed the handle and couldn't seem to find one elsewhere. The screw was too short as others mentioned, but fortunately my husband has a stash of screws and a hacksaw to cut it to the desired length.Even the screw from the old handle was too short because the metal neck of the new handle was longer.I will be careful to keep the flame low to avoid weakening the handle.

I read some negative reviews about it but ordered it anyway. It worked perfectly. There was no problem in installing it. The length of the screw was just right. Good idea to have these handles on Amazon. It saved a $15 steel pot from getting thrown away.

Smells horrible anytime I get the pan hot! This usually happens when I am boiling water, about the time the water boils the handle starts stinking! I thought that it would need a "burn" in periodbut it is still smelly.

Calphalon Unison Nonstick Saute Pans

Calphalon Unison Nonstick 6 Quart Saute Pan with LidI learned how to cook at the tender age of ten, thanks to 4-H Home Economics back in the day. From even back then, the need for quality cookware was drilled into me.I've always had the best I could afford (which, for many years, wasn't much especially during the negative-income days of the college years) and for a long time that meant having one stainless-steel saute pan and one nonstick saute pan.I'd use the stainless when I wanted to create a lovely browned meat and then deglaze the pan with wine or broth. The nonstick pan got pulled out when I was making something more delicate, such as a fish fillet.

This year, my ten-year-old nonstick saute bit the dust.I noted the coating starting to bubble a bit, and I wasn't willing to risk using it any longer.I began my search for a replacement and was led to the Calphalon Unison line. After much research and hemming and hawing, I decided to go with the reasonably-priced 3-qt. saute the exact size match to my old pan would have been the 4-qt, but I wasn't quite ready to shell out over $200 for a pan yet untried. Now, of course, I wish I had sprung for the slightly larger size.

In short, not only has this pan replaced my trashed nonstick, I have no problem using it in place of my traditional tri-ply stainless much of the time.

It browns meats, but releases foods (and mess!) easily. It goes in the oven.It goes in the dishwasher. The handle is sturdy. There's a helper handle (one reason I vetoed a similar pan during my search) for when you need the extra stability. For dinner tonight, I seared a pork tenderloin on all sides and then put it in the oven to finish. After a quick rinse, the pan went into the dishwasher. Is it any wonder this is my new favorite pan?

I am upgrading my original Caphalon to the Unison line.It is everything that the original was and is non-stick and can go in the dishwasher.A great investment.

I got the covered 3 qt SEAR pan just before xmas.I have all clad, seasoned cast iron, grill pans etc. This one leaves them all in the dust.I made steaks with a beautiful CRUST--not just browned, and the insides were beautiful tender med. rare, juicy and lovely pan sauce.I did rub a bit of olive oil on the one side of steak to get them going. (Would have been no problem to cook further but we like med. rare).I did not put the pan in the dishwasher because I use Finish detergent with bleach and instructions say don't use bleach additive detergent. But it cleans up so effortlessly it would be a waste to dishwasher it.I have browned meatballs in it, beautiful browning, nice fond in pan not burnt like in my all-clad stainless, again it just about cleans on its own.Browned pork ribs and chicken last couple of nights--perfect!The only thing I would change is to get a larger size---which I will do very soon!Costly, but worth every penny to me.

Great item, does what it says, but don't buy from Amazon thinking you're getting a deal.

Amazon advertises this product as listing for $200, and claims to be selling it for 50% off, but, actually they are selling it at the MSRP price of $99.99.

Want Calphalon Unison Nonstick Saute Pans Discount?

I have used Calphalon Nonstick cookware for years, but have mixed up my original set with different lines because I have found that several pan surfaces have peeled quite a bit or have deep scratches. I had to return a 12" skillet twice before (in quick succession) due to bad peeling.Mind you, I only use Calphalon nylon utensils, hand wash and gently handle them and am always mindful of the heat while cooking. So, when I saw the Unison line, I was really encouraged by all the positive reviews all 5 stars here! I bought the 3-qt saute pan today (to replace an older Professional Nonstick II one because it was peeling badly in the center). The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was that my glass lid had a short, deep scratch. I thought about going back to the store to replace the lid since I paid over $100 with tax for this pan. But then I wondered if I was being silly, it was about half an inch long...I guess I could live with it, I thought. But it nagged at me the rest of the evening. I tried to put it out of my mind once I started to cook and was very excited to use this pan for the first time. I browned hamburger meat for tacos following all the directions before use, including wiping the pan first with a paper towel soaked with olive oil. The food turned out great. Later, after the pan had fully cooled, I wiped it out with a paper towel and then gently washed it with warm, soapy water. As I was drying the pan, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only were there scratch marks on the surface, but there was a small chip already forming. I was horrified and thought maybe it was a water mark. So, I wiped the spot with my cloth, only to make the peeling grow a bit more. UNBELIEVABLE. Needless to say, I'm returning this pan tomorrow for a full refund. I recently purchased the 12" Unison Slide omelette pan with lid, but have yet to use it. I wonder if I should even bother now...maybe just bring it back to the store tomorrow, too. Ugh. Buyer beware.

Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan, 100-Percent PTFE and PFOA Free

The 10' Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick CoatingMy wife bought this thing at Sears for me as a present. She spent around $80 on it. For that amount of money I expected a great pan, but that is not what I got. For a while this pan did what it was supposed to and I was really impressed. After just weeks of heavy use the pan is worthless! To make matters worse, a lot of the 5 star reviews for it on Amazon (even the ones tagged helpful) are fake! These people mysteriously only reviewed this pan or other Ozeri products. More on that later.

Let me explain my experiences with this a bit. I do a lot of weight lifting and thus eat 4 poached eggs a day on the days that I work out. I alternate lower and upper body, and take Saturday and Sunday off. This means that I use this pan at least ten times per week. My wife would also use it a few times/week for quick meals. So no, it is not what an average person would use it for but the end result will still be the same.

The pan lasted a little over two weeks for me. I am very careful not to raise the temperature above medium heat and only use a silicone spatula while cooking. Moreover, my last ceramic pan lasted almost a year, and it was much cheaper! I did not change up my cooking methods at all. The fault lies with the coating, which started to warp and eventually chip. I guess silicone is too rough for it. Or maybe it was the poaching process (that was a joke, you just add water). I ended up returning it to Sears after only 20 days and got a full refund. The sales lady said that she tried this pan and had a similar experience after 4 months of use.

This pan is pretty good looking. It is very pleasing to the eye and looks well built, but that is not what a pan is designed for. A pan is meant for cooking. If you want something that looks good in your kitchen, by all means go for it. If you want a non-stick pan that will last you a while, get something else. I am going back to Vinaroz, since their products are cheaper and actually last. Cuisinart is another good alternative because of their lifetime warranty. I simply prefer Vinaroz because they are cheap and I can toss them out after a year, instead of dealing with Cuisinart for a replacement. As another option you could simply get a stainless steel pan and have that last you a lifetime, but those are not non-stick.

Now let's move on to another problem. The top "helpful" reviews are posted by people that mostly review Ozeri products, or only have one review under their belt (the one for this pan). It's also odd that they are all 5 star reviews. Simply take a look at the top reviews for this pan and check out the reviewer. I am surprised Amazon doesn't do anything about these people.

In my opinion, this pan is worthless. If I could rate it a 0, I would. I am glad that someone makes non-stick PTFE and PFOA free cookware, but there are cheaper and better alternatives out there. Don't be fooled by the hype and all the 5 star reviews. Most of those are not real.

I really hope you, the potential buyer take the time to read all reviews for this product before you purchase it, and stumble upon mine. This kind of shady marketing is despicable and should not be rewarded with your hard earned cash.

Thank you for your time, and good luck.

I loved this pan.I had seen infomercials for a similar ceramic pan and wanted to try it but the reviews for that pan indicated all sorts of shenanigans in the ordering process for that product.Naturally I came to Amazon to look for a comparable product. It is a heavy duty pan. It has an induction friendly base so that you can cook on an induction cooktop.Best of all it's ceramic coating performs as advertised. It is simply the best non-stick pan I have ever owned.

Update: Joy turns to sadness and I'm left wondering why. After several months of happy use, the outstanding non-stick performance suddenly ceased.I have always hand-washed the pan and it NEVER saw the inside of the dishwasher. It was extremely sad to see my favorite pan of all time go bad for no apparent reason! The surface looks fine.I tried to "condition" the pan with oil and heat to no avail.I will be looking for another ECO product that lasts.I guess we'll always have Paris...

I am a classically trained and currently employed sous chef working at a large hotel in down town Seattle.

I deal with pots and pans and kitchen equipment every day, all day. I was looking for a nice "non stick" pan to do light duty at my aspartment. I use cast iron pans for the majority of my domestic cooking, but I really like to stir fry noodles and wanted a pan that would be safe (teflon is no good!!!) and quick to heat and clean. After hours of scouring the internet to find "just the right pan" I settled on this one. Out of the box It looks great and has a pretty decent heft and balance to it. The problem is food sticks to the pan, I mean big time sticking. I could not even flip my noodles in the pan because it sticks. I rarely write reviews, but I always read them before making an internet purchase. I was compeled to today because I have had it. This afternoon I took out my pan, cleaned it in warm water and soap and wiped it clean with a paper towel. I slid my fingers along the inside of the pan and was pleased to encounter a smooth and appealing surface. I heated my pan on medium heat (manufacturer recomends this) I placed a small amount of olive oil in the pan( manufactuter recomends this), I broke open two eggs and planed to eat two eggs sunny side up with a nice flat iron steak((already cooked under the broiler). I slid in my eggs and heard a nice sizzle, yum, I love crispy, gooey eggs, waited about thirty seconds and then becan to manipulate the eggs in the pane...........not gonna happen, they stuck so bad, I had to make scrambled eggs. I removed my disapointing eggs from the pan and was shocked at what was left in, a full 3 to 5 percent of my eggs were stuck completly to the inside surface of the pan. I thought this was supposed to be a non stick pan. My only other course to follow next time would be to spray the pan with vegeline(pan spray) and then try to fry me up some eggs that way. Bottom line I would not buy this pan again and would not give it as a gift, me being a chef and gifting this item would in my opinion lower my credability as a culinarian.

Peace and hair grease!!!

I hate to be the few that give this cute item 1 star.

But it is true that this pan functioned well for only 2 days, 4 meals. After that, it started to stick everything!!

Believe me, i read its user guide more than 10 times before and after i started to use it, so many time that i can even repeat it without looking at it.

i even checked all the reviews on Amazon, making sure i got all the information i need to treat it right.

But sadly, it just sticks.

I'm not green, but this pan is...all over the sides and bottom. It's a nice pan actually. Nothing like all clad level niceness, but it's got a little bit of weight to it. It has a pretty cheap plastic handle. Nothing will stick to this pan. I can barely use butter or oil in it because it beads up and won't coat the pan...lol. I searched for other pan options from them, this is apparently the only thing they sell as a company, this green pan. You should buy it, we use it a lot.

Farberware P08-033 fry & sauce pan handle, long.

Farberware P08-033 fry & sauce pan handle, long.I had been struggling with a cracked handle on my Farberware fry pan for years. Finally, I solved that problem. This handle fit perfectly and was easy to install just a screwdriver.

Oh, but no new screw came with the handle. I had to use the original screw that came with the pan when I bought it. So don't throw the old screw away with the broken part. Just a warning.

This handle works great. My installation was a breeze once I heated the pan on the stove.By doing so the handle receptacle expanded and allowed for a perfect fit.Start by threading the screw through the handle and into the sauce pan until the handle just starts for its way into the receptacle for the handle. Then heat the pan until hot, add a few more turns to the screw, and repeat this process until the handle is completely seated into place.

This is a great way to keep from replacing the entire pan, and at a quarter of the price as well.

Buy Farberware P08-033 fry & sauce pan handle, long. Now

Part does not fit into mating square of pan without filing all four sides of the handle. Also, the screw hole is so far off, the head of the screw does not clear the wall of the pocket. I had to redrill the hole and grind the head of the screw.

If you need to replace the screw, it is a #10-24 x 1-1/2" long. I used a button head hex socket drive as my replacement. I recommend stainless because it will be going into the dishwasher. The new screw fit well into the old (broken) handle, but as I mentioned, the head would not clear the handle's pocket without rework.

I hope this is a knock off and not a Farberware product. Either way it will give them a bad name.

UPDATE: I called Farberware to complain about the quality of the handle and to see if I could get a replacement. They informed me that while it is likely their product, they have not made this handle for two years. Online vendors are working through their existing stock. I did find out that my pan was, remarkably after 25 years, still under warranty. So, I do have the option to return the entire pan.

FYI The Farberware rep informed me this handle was designed to fit their products made from the mid-70's through the late 90's. She gave me the exact years, but I do not recall what they were at this point. Good Luck.

This handle does not fit the opening of my Farberware pan. I have been working on it all afternoon with a file to make it fit. I think I finally have it fairly close. Now, I have to find a screw because the handle did not come with a new screw and my old one is very worn. We'll see how that goes.

West Bend Grill/Griddle

West Bend Grill/GriddleFirst let me say I eat a lot of pancakes. I mean like everyday, sometimes more than once a day. This grill is the best pancake maker I could ever imagine. Except just one thing...for pancakes you need to prop up the back 1/4" (I use a pair of bath tiles) because the grill is designed so fat will run into the rear mounted drip tray, but you don't want your cakes doing that. When propped up, the grill is flat as a pancake (pun intended) and your cakes will be perfectly round every time. The grill heats fast and the heat is uniform. No stick surface takes a few batches to get broke in, then it works good. I leave the thermostat in one position and just plug it in and out. It's super consistent that way. Overall great product. Bought at Target for a few bucks more that Amazon. No big deal...got to see the runner ups in person. Oh yeah, the surface flips over for cooking meat. Now I just hope it lasts a long time.

I purchased this grill/griddle to replace my aging 9 x 15 Teflon-coated Presto griddle.I wanted a larger size, a better nonstick surface, and more even heating.

This product performs the second and third requirements well. However the 11.25 x 18 plate size is misleading; the actual cooking surface is 10 x 16.5.I was able to cook 9 slices of bacon comfortably (perhaps 1 or 2 more crowded), but only 6 slices of French toast (same as my old Presto).

My surface thermometer indicated a temperature of 325° when the griddle was set for 300°, but this amount of inaccuracy is not unusual in griddles and skillets in this price range.

Cuisinart CSK-250 GreenGourmet 14-Inch Nonstick Electric Skillet

Cuisinart CSK-250 GreenGourmet 14-Inch Nonstick Electric SkilletBig,and beautiful with a glass top that lets you see exactly how things are cooking. We are big fans and users of electric frying pans, these things are great, and this one is certainly bigger and perhaps better than the many others we have used to death, BUT there is this one flaw and it is hard to get over.

The vent hole in the glass top is too small. Water vapor stuffs up in this little hole and the lid starts to sputter all around the edge and all over the counter top. Cooking too fast? Well no. The temp control shuts on and off as most of them do, and so when it's in the on mode the pan gets a rush of heat and the top then sputters all over the place.

We have had the pan for about eight months, so perhaps cuisinart has corrected this problem.

My grandma gave us a 12-inch square electric skillet in the 70s, but we hardly ever used it and eventually gave it to Goodwill. It offered no advantage over stovetop cooking.

My wife got the Green skillet for me last month. The 14 inch size makes it very versatile. You can brown a lot of mushrooms without having to batch-cook them.I'm sure it will fry a lot of chicken too.

The heat distribution is good.At 450 F, you can't sear steaks--leave that to 550F+ cast iron or Staub's enameled iron grill pans-but golden-browning is wonderfully easy to achieve.

For open-pan cooking, I would give it 4-5 stars.

I must however, subtract two full stars for the patently inadequate lid design. How many of us use lidded pans without using their lids to cook? It would be nice to use the Green skillet to steam, simmer or boil things, but the condensate on the lid underside flows directly to the pan rim, gathers, then bubbles, spits and drips all over the countertop and onto the temp-control module.I have to put a towel over the latter, not knowing if an electrical short could otherwise occur, and even then I have to wipe up the countertop afterwards.Or I have to "crack" the lid (which lessens dripping and directs it to one area). Not a fatal issue, but indicative of less-than-fully-thoughtful attention to functional detail by Cuisinart.

Two design modifications to the lid would greatly improve things.1) a much larger vent hole with a sliding shutter to adjust the size of the orifice, and 2) a glass or metal circular rim on the underside running maybe a half inch from the lid's edge, to force lid-condensate to dripinto the pan instead of flowing to the lid/pan-edges interface and sputtering out.

All in all, we're using this pan a lot, as it works really well for open-pan cooking, and then using the lid to keep food warm.

Although it initially worked well, this pan was a knock-off, not a Cuisinart item, as stated. The coating began lifting off after a few uses. The recipient contacted Cuisinart, which advised her of the propensity for sales on Amazon often being knock-offs.The parts come from the same source, but there are differences, such as the coating.(Cuisinart was very kind and, since she had the original receipt, allowed her to return the first pan at her cost and then shipped her a genuine cuisinart CSK-250, which definitely had a different coating.)

I have used it twice to make French Cruellers. They are fried in 2" of oil. The first time I set the thermostat for 325F and when the light went out I assumed it was up to Temp. Put my donut in and it just sat there. I tried the 350 setting but that didn't bring the temp up much so I turned it to 450 and was able to get the cruellers done.

Today I decided to try it again. I put the 2 inches of room temp oil in the fry pan. Turned the thermostat to 350F. I checked it with a very trusty Thermo-Pen after 30 minutes and it was barely up to 250F. I finally turned the thermostat up to 450F and ONE hour later it registered 350 on my Thermo-Pen.

I feel there is something wrong with this skillet. I have many many Cuisinart products including all of their stainless steel cookware and I've been very happy with it.I would have written to the seller but haven't a clue who that is or how to find an email link for them.

I have purchased several Cuisinart products in the past, but this electric skillet is just not up to snuff. We have used it for 8 months. It is not easy to clean. The coating is shedding (into our food, yuck!) and I am replacing it with a stainless steel version by another manufacturer. We use our electric skillet every day and curse the day Farberware decided to stop making theirs. This was an expensive experiment for us, and I recommend purchasers think twice before spending this kind of money on a product that does not perform. The one positive is the size. It is quite large, so people with big families might find it useful--as long as they don't mind feeding the coating material to their children.

Silit Passion 11-Inch Fry-and-Serve Pan, Energy Red

Silit Passion 11-Inch Fry-and-Serve Pan, Energy RedWe bought this pan in Germany while living there and brought it back to the states with us it's so solid and heavy it kicked up the baggage weight! But this is my partner's absolutely favorite sautee pan and we have quite a variety of good quality tri-ply and old fashioned cast iron.

The finish and cooking surface are the very definition of German craftsmanship and just a little seasoning goes a long way like the 1st reviewer says it's not "non-stick" and we're happy for that since ALL the non-stick pans are **very** toxic and not a healthy choice -

this is a kind of baked ceramic finish and just the best to cook with and healthy to boot.A piece of cookware that will last for **years** no problem.

In the first Indiana Jones film, Marian whacks a bad guy on the head with a frying pan and he goes down hard (I think he died)...meet that frying pan. Its painted like a sexy Lamborghini and is NOT light. The ceramic coating is NOT Teflon and won't flake off when you decide to boil water in it. I've fried eggs with a little butter (this isn't really non-stick), fried fish sticks, and made Chinese noodles ...all with no problems...and cleaned up the pan with water and a sponge.

The only thing that stuck a little (left a "ghost print" which eventually scrubbed off) were Chinese steamed dumplings. I've got this and the 9.5 inch frying pan and am contemplating the 8 inch model. I live in Germany, so the price isn't so insane! Keep your eyes peeled for Silit Silargan cookware like this...I can't imagine you'll be disappointed!

Biagetti Easy Ceramic Nonstick Saute Pan

Bialetti Aeternum Easy Saute Pan, 10-Inch, SilverI needed a good breakfast pan. I've decided to steer clear of teflon and aluminum pans due to health concerns, didn't get results I wanted with my lovely stainless steel ones when it came to breakfast (I'm not so pro that I can make my omelettes on them without them sticking just yet), and though I love my cast iron pans well, flipping pancakes in one is out of the question. I had that breakfast dilemma and this pan gave me a sense of relief. They are a breeze to cook on and the white interiors are a perk because I can monitor my food while its cooking so I can get it just right (my hash browns were never a more perfect golden color). Another plus is that they are very easy to clean and don't require any special seasoning or maintenance.

My recommendation about these are 1. Do not use HIGH heat. You ''can'' if you want to if you are frying some sausage links and stuff like that but for anything else like omelettes or potatoes, you'll get better results on these with the heat on MEDIUM or MED-HIGH. 2. Don't use metal spatulas or utensils. They WILL damage the surface of the ceramic. 3. Don't use a scouring pad to clean these, you can wipe most cooked on food with a soft sponge and if it's really baked on (take it easy on the heat next time) let it soak for a few minutes and it should wipe right off.

This is my second purchase....the pans are great....best price I have been able to find...not sure if this exact pan is being discontinued for an upgraded version...locally, bed bath and beyond is more for a red color version.Anyway, vendor filled order both times,no tax, and combined order on amazon to qualify for free shipping...

My wife has several Bialetti Aeternum sauce pans and based upon her experience with them, I ordered this sauce pan--the price was right! However, when it arrived she compaired it to her Bialatti Aeternum sauce pans and the quality is not the same. This pan is much lighter, the lip is not reinforced (thickened) and the non-stick surface does not extend over the top of the lip.The color of the ceramic coating on her pans is a yellow white and seems really thick--the coating on this pan is a blue white and doesn't seem as thick (possibly because the coating doesn't extend over the top of the lip).Additionally, her Aeternum sauce pans have the word "Aeternum" embossed on the bottom of each pan.The bottom of this pan has the word Bialetti painted on.Her Bialetti Aeternum pans came with a 5 year warranty, I have been unable to locate any warranty information on this Bialetti EASY sauce pan.

This review only compares this sauce pan with Aeternum sauce pans that we currently have.We did not use it and have returned it to Amazon. Therefore, I cannot comment on how well it works. You will have to make that determination based upon other reviews.

As advertised, this pan needs minimal oil to prevent sticking. It heats rapidly and evenly, handles well, and cleans easily. It is NOT the color I ordered.I chose silver and received PURPLE.Stands out form the other pots, but NOT what I wanted.

This is a good pan, cooks evenly and it heats up fast.My only gripe, is that the way they advertise this product it seems that you don't need oil or butter ,but in reality you do.Read the fine print on the inside of the Packaging.Other than that ,i like this pan,it's a good alternative to Teflon.

Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10105 15 1/4 Inch x 2 1/4 Inch Skillet with Assist Handle

Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10105 15 1/4 Inch x 2 1/4 Inch Skillet with Assist HandleThere's not really a whole lot that you can say about an item like this it's a skillet. You put it on the stove, it gets hot, and then you cook food in it. In that regard my girlfriend and I are extremely satisfied with this product, but I'm writing this review because of our interaction with Old Mountain. We have several Old Mountain skillets of various sizes, and only occasionally need to use this enormous one, so we were well past our Amazon return window when we noticed a crack in the cast iron near the handle, running all the way down to the base. I can't say whether it arrived that way or if it was something we did, and I was resigned to having to purchase a new one, but my girlfriend decided to contact Old Mountain first. I'm glad she did they sent us a brand new skillet, no questions asked, and when we asked for the address to ship the damaged one to, they told us not to bother, and only asked us to recycle it rather than throw it away. I will certainly be purchasing from them again in the future.

The pan is fantastic for making tons of food. It's HUGE! It heats evenly and fits fairly well on two burners (I have a gas stove). The pan I purchased had a crack in it, but after contacting the Old Mountain, they were willing to replace it with no fuss. The pan is great and so is Old Mountain.

I needed a big skillet for when the boys come over and we cook in the shop.Looked around and this seemed to be the best deal going so I ordered one.Was seasoned and while it did have a couple of pits in the bottom it was smooth and has worked well. Will be around long after I am gone.Heavy and takes a bit to warm up but oh those fried potatoes are good and so is the bacon!

If you need a big one this it.....get it and enjoy.

Magefesa Vitalia Aluminum Chicken Fryer with Lid Grey

Magefesa Vitalia Aluminum 2-Quarts Chicken Fryer with Lid GreyI had gotten this to replace another pan that needed to be replaced. When it first came I was very excited. After 5 months, the handle is coming loose(a simple enough fix, but I have to do it once a week).I use this pan frequently and I think that I am already ready to buy another. So if you don't use the pan nearly everyday as I do, I am sure it will hold up nicely for you.It cooks very well and cleans very easily.

Though specified with a 10" diameter, this pan measures no more than 9 1/2" diameter and is smaller than needed. Amazon's simple and convenient ( they pay return postage ) return policy makes our purchase of the larger pan a certainty.

Product/Service Update: Returned faulty pan. Two days later Larger Brand-New and flat-bottomed pan arrived.Excellent Product and Service !

As Seen On TV 8153 Big Boss Grill 15-Piece, 6 in 1 Grill Set

As Seen On TV 8153 Big Boss Grill 15-Piece, 6 in 1 Grill SetI cannot believe that such a reputable place would keep these grills on their sites.I recieved this grill for Christmas and was so excited because I had seen it on TV and it looked perfect for my husband and I.

I used it a few times and it grilled perfectly. However, after about 3 times when I plugged it in nothing happened.I cannot tell you how disappointed I was.I went to the computer to see if anyone else had this problem and lo and behold their were hundreds of customers with similar problems. It seems to me that if a company had recieved numerous complaints about a product they sold (The Big Boss Grill) they would look into what was causing the problems and either fix it or take it off the market.I would have sent it back and I still might, but the shipping charges cost almost as much as the grill.Since most people don't send it back precisely for that reason the company makes out.Amazon I have done a lot of business with you in the past and I have been extremely satisfied with everything I purchased.I know people sell things through your site and if something isn't right it is up to the company that is selling it.However, if I were you after reading all the negative comments about the big boss grill I would not accept the site that was selling that product. It is your name that makes people think everything you sell on your site will be A-Okey.

First off, this is not an expensive kitchen appliance and it is apparent in the design; no on/off switch, plug into outlet equals on, unplug equals off. There is really no frills to this device, which you would expect at this price point.I purchased this device in order to make waffles every now and again at home and liked the fact that it was capable of making other food items. As far as form, it is small and will fit easily in a drawer or cupboard when not in use.The 6 no-stick inserts come with a rack which is also nice for storage in a cupboard. The inserts snap into place and are removed easily. As far as function goes, it cooks really well and will turn out approximately 2 servings at a time with a 3-5 minute warm up and an average of 5 minutes to cook just about anything.I would say that this device is best used for waffles, eggs, grilled pocket sandwiches and panini sandwiches versus more complicated meals such as raw chicken breasts.I feel the price is worth it for the versatility as well as easy clean up and I use it about twice a week for a quick grilled sandwiches or waffles on the weekend. Some may not like the fact that you can only turn out two at a time, but really how many grilled cheese can you make at once in a frying pan? And those don't seal the edges.Good product considering you are not dropping tons of money, the versatility of items you can make and small size for storage. You are basically spending about the same as a toaster oven, so don't expect it to mop your floors too.If your expectations are reasonable, this is a convenient little device.

What was I thinking? This thing would be okay if you are cooking for 1 or 2 people. Any more and everyone would have to eat at separate times.

I only use it to cook omlettes and waffles now. The grilled cheese has the crusty ends which my kids do not like. When I cooked chicken on it, I have to cut the breasts into tenders. It takes closer to 9 minutes for 1 chicken breast cut medium thickness. If you are cooking for four or more, someone is getting a cold piece of chicken.

Also, last night I cooked a breast in it, I noticed that all the juices had nowhere to go. So much of it went under the plate. I DO know that electricity and liquids don't mix.. I hope it isn't damaged now. So now when I cook chicken, I will take out the old frying pan again..

I haven't made a donut, hamburger, or a pannini yet. Donuts look real small though. I do like the way the omlettes come out, but it takes closer to 9 minutes, than 5 minutes as suggested. I feel french toast would probably work, but again, only 2 at a time. 5-6 minutes each.. Good Luck!

Also, I recieved a phone call telling me that since I was such a good customer , that I would be recieving $40 in free gas vouchers in the mail, along with a bunch of other discounts that I could use for a try out period. It would cost me $24, after the first month. If I want to cancel it, just call the number. I did not recieve this envelope, therefore cannot camcel. I called Big Boss Headquarters, and they told me that they have nothing to do with this promo. How dare them give my credit card number to someone else. Now I have to go to my bank and fix this mess.!!

Anyway, if you want to eat waffles or omlettes for one or 2 people, this is for you.I won't use this for chicken or grilled cheese ever again.

I wish I could get my money back.. Maybe I'll stop payment.

I live in a small apartment with a very small kitchen, and I have an even smaller amount of time to clean a grill.I've had contact grills before (the George Foreman line is so far still the best IMHO), but when you need to save both space and time this is a good buy. It's not great, but it does work once you figure out its quirks. The indicator lights are a great touch so I know when it's come up to heat. Also, the dishwasher-safe plates are a definite plus.

Some things I've found:

-The heater does not have the wattage to deal with frozen hamburger patties. It will, however, work great on fresh ones.

-If you're a culinary nitpicker, the omelet plate won't make a true omelet. However, it does make a tasty breakfast "scramble."

-The grill will hold grease away from the meat, but you need to drain it between individual servings. This can be dangerous to say the least.(I use a set of nomex gloves...good luck finding those.)

-The griddle is good, but not great. It might make a good supplemental griddle for, say, when you have a lot of relatives over and you've got all burners going on the cook top.

For a general-purpose all-in-one appliance, this is a good design. However, it is not the best for all tasks.A good starter, say for the college or graduate student, but not for someone who wants a serious contact grill.

I bought this thinking it looked very versatile. Well maybe it is but in minature size. Silly me..I didn't look at dimensions. This unit is quite small. The Dounut pan would make dounuts the size or smaller that Dunkin Holes. I don't know what I was expecting but I'm not sure this is it. haven't used it yet as I'm not sure whether I should bother keeping it.

Smart Planet CDM-1 Corn Dog Maker

Smart Planet CDM-1 Corn Dog MakerThis may sound like an odd review, but we have been looking for something like this device for a long time.Hot dogs are a great kid-friendly dinner, and surprisingly low in calories and fat if you get chicken dogs.Corn dogs are tons of fun, but frying them is not only not good for you, it makes dinner heavy and greasy. We tried many times to make oven-corn-dogs, but the batter always fell off.It looked very unappetizing. This corn dog device is perfect. We mixed the batter according to the recipe, put the corn dogs (along with the batter), and a few minutes later, perfect corn dogs on a stick. The outside is crisp (with a nice texture), and the inside fluffy. As close as you can get to frying without actually frying.

It could be improved.First, while hot dogs do come in various sizes, these molds are too short for almost any hot dog.We ended up cutting off the ends of all of them, and then making a corn dog composed of 3 end pieces. It did such a nice job with cooking the bread that you couldn't tell which one wasn't a single dog.Second, it would be nice if the plates were removeable for easier cleaning.I'm still giving this 5 stars because I had an awesome dinner with it.

Overall, glad I bought it, and I would buy it again.Single use appliances are generally not my favorite, but corn dogs need this type of device, and everybody needs home-made corn dogs.

***Update 5 months later***

Wow.... still loving this corn dog maker.Same comments as above--it's not perfect, but everybody in the family looks forward to corn dog night. We use it about once every 2 weeks. We're still buying standard hot dogs, cutting off the ends, and then making a corn dog of cut-off pieces.Another reviewer suggested buying really long hot dogs and cutting them in half.I like that idea, but not sure if they make long chicken hot-dogs.Go ahead and buy this great device, get some spicy honey mustard, and enjoy!

We just got this and within minutes had to test it out.It worked perfectly and is so quick and easy to use!I personally didn't care for the first batter recipe (haven't tried the second one yet).It was good so long as there was hot dog in with every bite, but at the end where I had just dough left, it's not tasty on it's own, but that's no big deal, it's easy enough to change the recipe or use a different recipe all together.I made the first batch without even using the sticks. This will thrill my daughter who loves corn dogs, but isn't a fan of the stick getting in her way of eating it.I'm so excited to try other things with it too.I have so many ideas of what can be made with this fun gadget.I had some crescent dough in the fridge and wrapped a piece around a cheese stick and cooked that upit turned out perfectly cooked, a bit bland it needed some seasoning or a different type of dough, but you can see the possibilities. You can take any dough or batter and add something to it.Pancake/Sausage dogs, stuffed pizza sticks, put sliced apples in a sweet batter and make a kind of apple fritter on a stick.I have a beer bread recipe, and I think that would be great coating for cheese stuffed jalapenos. You could even just use cake, muffin or pancake batter and make some interesting shaped breakfast or dessert items.I have not tried this yet, but I have an idea for S'mores on a stick, use a sweet batter (like pancake, or maybe someone has an idea how to make batter that tastes like graham crackers) place several mini marshmallows on the stick, place it on the batter in the corn dog maker, sprinkle with chocolate chips, and top off with batter close and let cook. Yum.

I plan to use this for the coming school year to make homemade grab and go breakfast items (like sausage on a stick).I make a bunch up, freeze em, and my husband and daughter can just pop them in the microwave and head off to school. I can make them cheaper and healthier than the store bought ones.

update on the S'more dogs.First attempt at these FAIL.They tasted great, but made a mess. The marshmallow and chocolate melted before the dough could even cook.I'm going to change a few things and try it again.First do not use regular marshmallows cut in half, they are still too big.I was excited to make these, and this is what I had on hand.Next time I will use the mini marshmallows and freeze them on the stick before cooking This should give the batter enough time to set before the marshmallow melts. While I had chocolate chips, I also had a Hersey bar. This works perfect.Break the bar into individual pieces, and two get laid down end to end.One bar has enough pieces to fill all 6 molds. Also be careful that you do not overfill the bottom with batter.Put enough in lay down the chocolate(which would also be ideal to freeze before cooking) lay a marshmallow skewer on top of that and cover with enough batter that does not leave any chocolate or marshmallow exposed.I was a little sloppy in my process, and made a big mess. The machine cleaned up fairly easily, but I think freezing the marshmallow and chocolate before cooking is the key to having the batter set before everything starts melting. For the batter I used the included batter recipe in the book but made some changes.I used 3/4 cup white flour in pace of (instead of) of the 1/4 cup corn meal and 1/2 cup wheat flour.I upped the sugar and used two TBS Brown sugar instead of plain and 1 TBS honey. When they are done cooking use a spatula to remove from machine. Do not attempt to pick them up by the stick until they have cooled for a few minutes, otherwise they just fall apart.

Now that Morningstar has ceased making their veggie corndogs, I was desperate to find something to substitute. My daughters school serves corn dogs a lot and I try to match her menu with similar veggie items. This is perfect.I use veggie dogs instead of hotdogs and then follow the recipe for the batter. She loves them and actually I think they are better than the morningstar ones. plus, I like controlling the ingrediants to reduce sodium and other bad things.I don't feel bad about serving her these between the healthy veggie dog and the baked not fried batter. It took me a few turns to get the batter and dog placement exactly right. And as another review said, you have to cut any dog because they don't fit in the wells, but I did what he did and just used the ends of the veggie dogs to make my last corn dog.

This waffle/corn dog iron is smaller than expected.I am not sure what kind of corn dogs that they are talking about, but it surely is not the ones I grew up on.In order to use this device properly, the hot dogs have to be cut in half.Otherwise they will not fit in molds correctly. It would work better as waffle/corn vienna sausage maker.

Another negative issue that I encountered was that steam and condensation collected behind the upper plate. This area contains the monitoring lights and some wiring, which also eventually filled with condensation.

And lastly, the temperature of the iron plates seem to fluctuate and maintaining a proper cooking temp proves difficult for this unit.

This machine makes it so easy to make corn dogs.Mine were veggie dogs and YUM!I didn't use the recipe included to make the batter made my own (Trader Joe's cornbread mix works well too although it is a bit on the sweeter side).

The reviews on Amazon were so helpful. One guy said 7 minutes of cook time seemed to be the charm boy was he correct 7 minutes is perfect. He also said do not be afraid to make a mess and really slop and cover your dogs again right mine turned out shaped well and browned all around and it was not TOO messy to clean up either.( I like to add some extra batter to in between the hotdogs just before I close the machine that way nothing gushes out the back of the machine just into the wells and my dogs are always well shaped and cooked.)

Also you will have to cut 1/3 off of each dog.Works out well because you use 2 of the pieces left over to make another corndog.4 hotdogs made 6 corndogs. That is the main con of this item it is not full sized...

Another tip I let my machine heat up a full 10 minutes prior to cooking. There ARE heating elements in the top of the machine you just have to use enough batter to plump to reach the top.Plus letting them cool slightly for about one minute (with the machine open and unplugged) before removing them helps keep them whole too.

I also learned a trick to get the corndogs out in one piece.I didn't use sticks, by the way just hot dogs and batter.Anyway after 7 minutes open it up, let them cool slightly, then start at the front using your fingers and carefully wiggle each corndog a bit to help free it then just rock and roll the front one off of the cook surface right onto your plate. For the others roll them forward into each empty well until you can roll them out on your plate. They all turned out perfectly that way.Just make sure you spray your wells with Pam or other cooking spray so they do not stick and come out easy.

I would definitely recommend this item although there could be some improvements (mainly the size) another would be real recipes and better instructions and even easier clean-up.

The only recipe included is 1 for the cornbatter. The description says you can also make "cheese on a stick, pizza on a stick, snickers on a stick and more" that may be but you are on your own. There were no recipes included other than for the corbatter on a teeny tiny safety phamplet.

It is not terribly hard to clean up either but it could be a lot better. If the cooking plates were removable that would be nice especially since there is a small gap between the plates and the machine itself. If you get any of the batter into this space you will have to use a toothpick like I did to get the batter out.Not too, too terrible but could be easier if made a little better.

Even brought it over to my parents house and my dad said "Why in the world did you buy that?" and "Who cares that much about corn-dogs?" that is until I made him some. : )

Enjoy!

To recap BIG Prosa few cons...

Con not full sized corn dogs BUT Pro easier to store small machine

Con instructions and 'recipes' a joke there are virtually none

Con small gap between plates and machine and plates not removable
