Lodge HHMT Max Temp Handle Mitt, BlackThis mitt is good at insulating handles from heat... one can hold the skillet comfortably without feeling the heat. I don't think this thing can resist as high temperatures as stated on the product description because mine has already scorched at the edge where it comes in contact with the pan and as a result the fabric is fraying badly. I have never left the mitt in place while cooking, I have only used it to move the pan from the stove to the sink or to lift the pan to serve meals from it so I guess that the black fabric covering the outside of the mitt is not very heat-resistant.

I got this and the Lodge 2 Piece Hot Handle Holder Set at the same time, and this product is a lot better.It's more substantial, thicker, and because it's thicker (although the same size) it fits the handle more snugly, therefore less slipping around.

It does tend to get warm if you leave the holder on the handle while cooking.I don't think that it will ever get hot enough to burn you, though.You should, at worst, feel a little discomfort, and you can just let go before it gets anywhere close to the burning point.I like to leave it on the iron skillets because it's so easy to just grip the iron handle without thinking about it.I didn't notice any searing of the material of this Mitt.

The problem is that if the holder gets wet, it becomes useless as a heat-resister.It doesn't happen often, but all it takes is a drop of water to burn you.

I would recommend the silicone based holders, like HotHandle™ Silicone Cookware Handle Holder that I also got at the same time that I got the Lodge mitt.And no, I'm not a sales rep for them.Even if they get wet, the water doesn't penetrate through the mitt, so you're safe.Actually, I wouldn't recommend this one It's sold by Target, not Amazon, and it's a little bit too long for most Lodge handles.

I really didn't know what to expect when I bought this product, but when I got it I liked it a lot.I can see where it might burn if left pushed all the way on the handle, but I just simply slide it back towards the end of the handle, leave it there, and when I need to move or lift the pan, just slide it back down all the way on.It works like a good quality pot holder, and is a bit non-skid so it tends to grip pretty good.It fits in the hand well, and works as designed.Convenient to use with cast iron since the heat travels up the handles well, and you always need a pot holder or rag to keep from burning your hands.This is a well made product that works as intended.I'm glad I bought it.

I purchased this product to use along with my new Lodge cast-iron skillet.During the last three weeks, I've used the mitt on exactly six occasions.Because the mitt heats up if left on the handle of the skillet, I've been careful to remove it after each use.Yet the mitt is already falling apart--there are numerous cracks in the fabric and the stuffing has become exposed, despite extremely light usage.

I do not recommend this product.

I received this as a Christmas gift (along with a cast iron skillet and lid). The mitt lasted less than a monthit scorched, cracked, and then frayed, even though it was never used at a higher temperature than listed. I have since replaced it with a silicon version I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond and it works much better.

Positive: The pan is great for the price. Not their fault: I forgot how heavy iron skillets can be.

I have read that iron cookware is a great way to add iron to your diet without taking a supplement. Honest! Plus I like the fact that I'm not dealing with non-stick coatings that aren't necessarily good for you. I read the reviews before purchasing the pan so I wasn't surprised when the cooking surface was a little bit bumpy unlike my grandmother's ancient skillet that is smooth on the bottom from a million years of use. My husband would prefer a pan that he can toss in the dishwasher but he supports my efforts to start living a healthier lifestyle. It's a good skillet and came nicely seasoned. It's a keeper.

As long time users of cast iron, we finally decided a second 10 inch skillet would be helpful. We purchased this skillet for 2 reasons: it lacked the "extra hand hold" opposite the skillet handle and other reviewers said it was superior to Lodge. This skillet is NOTHING like the cast iron we currently have. It cooks okay, but the surface of the skillet bottom is very rough, so the "quick wipe out" that we are accustomed to doing with our others is not possible with this one. Even with a lot of oil or lard, paper towels will snag on the surface and leave behind little fuzzy bits that I would prefer not to have with my next meal. The skillet does, however, heat uniformly and so cooking on it is acceptable.

It's important to realize that this grill pan won't heat up like your outdoor charcoal grill, retain heat like cast iron (le creuset or lodge), or even cook fish, chicken, and steak the same way as a gas grill. What this incredibly easy to use (both for cooking and cleaning) piece of kitchen ware is great for is finding that perfect balance for light grilling when you dont have the time or convenience to do it the old fashioned way.

I am a purist when it comes to certain cookware. Cast iron just does some things better. But cast iron isn't for everyone. It's heavy, doesn't 'clean' the way many people are comfortable with, and takes some adjustment to understand its slow cooking properties. This grill pan is great if you're looking to do the following:

1. Grill up some salmon or swordfish steaks without worrying about leaving a 'fishy' residue on that precious, seasoned grill you have

2. Tenderize and cook to near perfection some chicken you have

3. Grill vegetables with, or without olive oil (the wonders of non-stick make the pan virtually a no-fat cooking device. Think of it like a much, much higher quality non-electric george foreman grill)

What it's not so good with:

1. Strip steak

2. Hamburgers (fat tastes good, lets face it folks)

3. Slow cook BBQ (you need real charcoal or at least cast iron to cook these babies nice and slow when you don't have your own smoke house)

So bottom line:

If you're more of a meatier eater/cooker, stick with the original (and less expensive cast iron or outdoor grills). If you're into fish, veggies, and chicken, consider adding this to your arsenal of essential All-Clad supplies.

Actually, had to buy two because I had the misfortune of leaving our old one inside of the stove in our previous apartment!Well the new renters surely got a fabulous housewarming gift.This grill is easy to clean and wonderful to handle on two burners.We put one burner on medium for cooking and the other on low for keeping the finished food at the right temperature (handy when doing protein and veggies at same time).Also, if your oven is big enough, you can sear the meat on top of the stove and move it into a 450 preheated oven to panroast (the stainless handles make this a cinch).We've used Creuset as an alternative, and it's just not as easy to clean and maneuver.If you buy it on Amazon it's 99.95 plus free shipping (and whatever bonus is running--like today another $25.00 0ff with a small additional purchase in kitchenware).However, if you buy it at Williams Sonoma you can get it with shipping of 10-15 dollars but you do get garlic paste and stainless steel skewers).So you might want to see what works better for you.

This pan is EXACTLY what I was looking for.After buying two different brands of cast iron grill pans, I have finally found one that does the trick.

All of my pots and pans are All Clad, but I didn't want to spend the big bucks for an All Clad grill pan so I order two different cast iron pans and both of them were awful.Food sticking (even after much seasoning) and the pans were really heavy and cumbersome to use.

I just purchased this grill last week & don't know how I survived without it. It is absolutely wonderful. It fits perfectly over the 2 burners on my gas stove. I lightly seasoned with vegetable oil just before using (as recommended) and clean up has been a breeze. It easily holds 8 NY Strip steaks & could probably hold 10-12 burgers. If you like to grill inside, this is so much better than a George Foreman grill. I ordered mine from Williams Sonoma because for the same price listed here, you get free All Clad skewers (6) & a jar of roasted garlic paste marinade. Some might think it's a bit expensive, but it's something you'll only have to buy once. I felt just like Rachael Ray using mine! It's definitely a must have!

Continental CE23721 Small Electric GrillThis little skillet is not meant to replace something larger, but it's a great convenience and useful to take traveling. It took preparing two batches to make bacon and eggs for two, but they turned out perfectly, along with the fried potatoes that followed. I have even made complete meals fried a cup and a half of vegetables (they cook down), emptied them out and scrambled eggs, mixing together in a bowl when done. It's really a very versatile little pan for one or even two people. It would probably make good French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches, tho I have not tried them. It maintains a decently high heat so you can fry things well.

However, the handle is really not easy to remove. So I don't, which means some danger when it's on the counter with the cord hanging down. If you have kids, this pan is probably dangerous not only dangling parts if you don't want the effort of removing the handle, but it looks like a toy. You can't set a regular temperature, but you get used to using the tiny dial. I agree with the other reviewer that it would not work well with arthritis. The little glass lid works, but does not fit very well. Don't try to carry it with the lid on it it wobbles off. If the pan was hot, this would be an additional problem.

The non-stick coating has worked so far in terms of holding up, but it does stick a bit over the area that has the heating ring, and sometimes requires paying attention to keep from burning. Still, at the price, it's a very useful little tool for small, quick jobs like caramelizing a few onions for a dish that doesn't otherwise require frying, scrambling up an egg for a snack, reheating a serving of something that needs a birt of browning, and as a traveling companion. Despite its quirks, I love mine and would buy it again.



I am very satisfied with my grill.As others have said, the lid is not snugly fit, but then, I do not carry it around.It stays pretty much on counter when cooking.Thank you

I found that while the skillet does work, it is awkward to adjust temperature setting and the removable handle is not easy to work with.Anyone with arthritis in their hands and fingers would have a difficult time with this.And even with the handle removed, the skillet is not immersible. BergHOFF Earthchef Montane 14.25' Frying PanIf you are looking for non stick this pan may be for you. The ceramic coating is great, nothing sticks and clean up is easy. However there are a few things I wish were better. The bottom of the pan has a black almost sprayed on finsh. I use this pan on a gas stove and moving the pan along the cast iron grates causes the black finish to become chipped. Also the pan seems to be raised in the center. If you place liquids in the pan the liquid slows off to the sides.



As a lot of people are these days, I switched to this pan from my lovely All-Clad nonstick due to health reasons.No point in feeding my kids organic foods if they are being poisoned by Teflon chemicals.So...I was so hoping to love this pan like my All-Clad.I do a lot of high heat cooking.I needed a lid cause I like to brown and/or steam in my daily pan.I found a great lid for it Scanpan Classic Ceramic Titanium 14-Inch Stainless Cover that fit it perfectly.But...it has hot spots.It is higher in the middle so all the sauce runs to the edge and the middle of course burns.It doesn't retain the heat as well as All-Clad.It's not as good of nonstick so when the sauce thickens it sticks to the pan so my meat tends to turn out bland. I have to soak it to clean it.But it does not stick like regular stainless steel pans so I still use it everyday.I'm starting get used to the annoyance...but I still miss my All-Clad every time I use it.I got it super big cause I was hoping to do more of batch cooking.But since it doesn't retain heat as well, I end up cooking about the same amount of food on it as my previous 12 inch pan and spread it out more (and I have one of those super high heat gas stoves).So, either it's burning my food or my veggies are often swimming in the liquid.Yet, it's better than eating cancer causing chemical and it's better than stainless steel.

We originally bought a 10 and 14 inch skillet for the inlaws. when we got them it was obvious the 14 was to big for the in-laws stove so we kept it and ordered a 12 for them. I love the skillet and it holds up well to heat even though it is a no ptfe non-stick skillet. it cooks evenly but we can only use it on one burner of our stove because of how large it is. If you have a commercial stove and a big family, it is great. Otherwise get the 12 or 10 inch version

Tamago Pan #HM13Bought one of these to make the cutesy little rolled omelets (tamagoyaki) as seen in anime, and after much practice, they come out perfect. The pan is great, does exactly what it's supposed to do, just make sure to use adequate oil.

At first glance, this tamago pan looks great. It sucks! The wooden handle is loose, and will fall off after a few uses. Also, it looks like the surface is nonstick . . . it's not! The eggs I used stuck to this pan worse than a unseasoned cast iron skillet. I strongly advise not to purchase this product, as it is horribly put together. Even experienced tamago pan users will find difficulty with the wiggling handle and sticky cooking surface. It is everything it should not be. Don't buy!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. or rather, one of them.. but after I decided to give this pan a try (seeing how divided the reviews are) I am back to tell you how I just finished throwing it in the trash.

If you want to get this pan clean after cooking something on the messier side, you can expect to spend longer washing it than the amount of time you spent cooking whatever it took to cake the thing, heheh.

I'm definitely not a pro at cooking, so if you think you may have the perfect way to coat the pan for non-stick, perhaps it's not such a bad purchase. It's a very unique article for the kitchen and the design is visually appealing too. That's about all that I can say in the pros department.

As for the cons.. well, despite the small size, it was still too big to use a small burner. This wasn't really a con, because I knew the pan was long though small. The real issue is that even after using an adequate or even exceeding amount of cooking oil to prepare the pan, the result was always the same-my eggs and other ingredients remained caked on in a thin layer that is not removable during cooking.

My ingredients were eggs, bonito stock, salt, sugar, mirin and sake in the amounts appropriate for making a small enough omelette to fit in the pan. You can expect to cook about 3 large eggs comfortably but 4 will fit, though that's pushing it.

My once well-practiced Japanese-style omelettes (dashi maki tamago) became scrambled eggs.. They tasted great, but I did not buy this pan for scrambled eggs.. LOL?

I tried this pan 6 different times before deciding to toss it.

Because I live in the United States, a decently priced tamagoyaki pan is hard to come by, so I always have to borrow my friend's. Trying to get my own.. I feel that this was a very wasted investment. I hope to find another soon.

Choose wisely. You may just be able to salvage this one. I didn't bother to try it for other foods, honestly, but if you're going to cook something non-specific you probably don't need this unique pan to do so.

Well, this pan is NOT as nonstick as I desired.It's smallish, and I had eggs that stuck when I scrambled some in it the first time.I groaned.

That said, now I love it.I bought it for omelets but I'm USING it for hashbrowns and burgers and chopped sirloin steaks.It fits 2 burger patties in perfectly, which is something I need occasionally.It makes hashbrowns LIKE A DREAM Nice little square patties that are on par with Waffle House's and cute burgers that look and are sized like Wendy's.When you cook anything with more oil, like the hashbrowns or burgers, clean up is easy.

So, I'm giving it a 4, because I am so happy with it and I'm finding it quite useful, even if I still feel like I need a good Japanese omelet pan.

If you've bought one and aren't happy with it, try it with hashbrowns and you might feel better.

All-Clad Stainless 6-Quart Saute PanI love All Clad cookware & was in the market to add to my collection.Initially, I wanted to buy the 14" fry pan, a wonderful item.The store owner asked me how I would use the 14" fry pan & I told her I wanted to fry & saute in it. I also mentioned I'd try to use it to braise as well.Given the fact I needed a large pan to serve mulitple purposes, the owner recommended I consider purchasing this 6 qt. saute pan instead. The pan has a diameter as wide as the 14" fry pan, & can be used for frying, sauteing & braising.Additionally, the cover is included in the price of this 6 qt. saute pan, unlike the 14" fry pan, which doesn't come w/a cover.I'm aware of the differences between a fry vs saute vs braising pan, but not being a purist & also wanting to conserve on storage space & cost, I bought this 6 qt saute pan. The store owner was correct, I use this pan all the time & it works perfectly as a fry, saute or braise pan. Given it's an All Clad, it has 1st class performance for heating quickly & evenly, cooking perfectly & cleaning up in a flash.Not to mention its beauty & perfect constuction, along with a lifetime guarantee.Don't hesitate to buy this pan!!!

Although I am not a small man, when I came face to face with the 6-quart saute pan on a friend's huge Wolf stove, I felt small. Very small. And weak.While I can easily saute in my own medium-weight 10 inch saute pan, the All-Clad 6-Quart pan requires two hands just to move;it took a deep breath and concentration to actually saute (which means "to jump" in French, and refers to the way you shake the ingredients to cook them evenly). The 6-quart saute pan is so wide that even on the Wolf, it crowded surrounding burners. So don't plan on getting four of these and cooking for an army on a civilian stove; you'll be lucky if it doesn't obstruct all your burners if it's centered on one.

On the plus side, the beauty of a 6-quart 13.5" pan is that you get about 65% more surface area than with a 4 quart 10.5" pan because it's the square of the radius that determines the area and 13.5*13.5=182, whereas 10.5*10.5=110.The quantity that can be cooked at once is limited by surface area if you don't want to crowd veggies or meat, which steams them rather than browning them, resulting in unbrowned meat, soggy mushrooms, etc.

Like other All-Clad stainless, the 6 quart saute pan is not only gorgeous, it's engineered to withstand anything you and your kitchen are likely to throw at it.As Anthony Bourdain so aptly put it in "Kitchen Confidential", there should be no doubt as to which one will dent if your pan hits your head. Unlike All-Clad's impractical Master-Chef and Copper-Chef lines, the stainless ones can be scoured and tossed in the dishwasher without damage.Though do be careful of doing things like heating salt by itself, which can pit stainless.

In conclusion, if you have Popeye arms and a Donald Trump stove, and you cook in volume, this is for you. For the rest of us, the 10 1/2 inch 3 quart or 4 quart models will be more practical.We can always use more than one pan.

How do you pan fry 6 thick Rib Eye Steaks at the same time so as not to miss a minute of the Academy Awards? You do them in this 6 quart saute pan. That way your time away from your guests and the TV are kept to a minimum.

Fire the burner up to super high, pour in a bit of Peanut oil and wait till the smoke begins, throw in the steaks, put on the lid, brown for approx 3 minutes on each side and finish off in a hot oven for 15 minutes. De-glaze the pan with some good Pinot Noir, add butter, salt and pepper for a quick sauce.

It's a snap to pan fry in this manner in these pans because of the superior heat distribution: no hot or cold spots...even heat throughout.

Another great thing about the All-Clad Stainless line is that clean up is very easy: accomplished with some hot water, soap and a sponge.

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed in this product since I have other All-Clad pieces.It had a design flaw.The middle of the pan was much higher than the edges, so when you put oil in it to cook something, all the oil would run to the edges of the pan.I ordered three of these thinking it was just a fluke, but all of them had the same problem in varying degrees.

This was my first all-clad purchase. I was replacing a very large non-stick skillet from Le Creuset. This is a much better pan.

The good:

1. It's huge. I can cook 6 boneless chicken breast pieces at once.

2. It cleans easily. Even burnt on stuff comes off easily with a little Barkeeper's Friend.

3. It holds up well. I've had mine for about 1.5 years now, and it still looks basically new.

4. It can go into the oven

5. It comes with a lid, as saute pans generally do. But I didn't have a lid for my previous pan, so I appreciate it.

6. Did I mention it's huge? It's huge. Whatever you're trying to cook...it will fit.

7. For such a huge pan, it does a very good job of distributing heat and cooking evenly. I can't compare to the other all-clad lines, but this heats very well. My Le Creuset (cast iron interior) heated evenly too, but you had to preheat for a long time. This heats pretty evenly in just a couple of minutes. It's not flawless, but I can heat the whole huge pan with one big burner.

8. The "all-clad" construction heats up the sides as well as well the bottom, which wasn't true of some of the other stainless pans I looked at.

9. Mine has not warped

10. It handles misuse. I got distracted and ended up burning a bunch of olive oil in the pan: smoke alarms and the whole bit. While it did take some extra time to clean the pan, it did clean. And it cooks just like it always did. A similar mistake is what led to the demise of my Le Creuset pan.

The not so good:

1. It's heavy. Unless you're a body builder, this isn't a one-hand pot. (But that's just the nature of a pan this size)

2. It's large. I don't have a particularly fancy stove, just a regular gas stove. When I'm using this pan, I can comfortably get only one other pan on the stove, in the kitty-korner position. In a pinch I can get two additional pans on the stove. But it's impossible to use four burners while using this pan.

Biagetti Easy Ceramic Nonstick Saute Pan

Bialetti Aeternum Easy Saute Pan, 10-Inch, SilverI needed a good breakfast pan. I've decided to steer clear of teflon and aluminum pans due to health concerns, didn't get results I wanted with my lovely stainless steel ones when it came to breakfast (I'm not so pro that I can make my omelettes on them without them sticking just yet), and though I love my cast iron pans well, flipping pancakes in one is out of the question. I had that breakfast dilemma and this pan gave me a sense of relief. They are a breeze to cook on and the white interiors are a perk because I can monitor my food while its cooking so I can get it just right (my hash browns were never a more perfect golden color). Another plus is that they are very easy to clean and don't require any special seasoning or maintenance.

My recommendation about these are 1. Do not use HIGH heat. You ''can'' if you want to if you are frying some sausage links and stuff like that but for anything else like omelettes or potatoes, you'll get better results on these with the heat on MEDIUM or MED-HIGH. 2. Don't use metal spatulas or utensils. They WILL damage the surface of the ceramic. 3. Don't use a scouring pad to clean these, you can wipe most cooked on food with a soft sponge and if it's really baked on (take it easy on the heat next time) let it soak for a few minutes and it should wipe right off.



This is my second purchase....the pans are great....best price I have been able to find...not sure if this exact pan is being discontinued for an upgraded version...locally, bed bath and beyond is more for a red color version.Anyway, vendor filled order both times,no tax, and combined order on amazon to qualify for free shipping...

My wife has several Bialetti Aeternum sauce pans and based upon her experience with them, I ordered this sauce pan--the price was right!However, when it arrived she compaired it to her Bialatti Aeternum sauce pans and the quality is not the same.This pan is much lighter, the lip is not reinforced (thickened) and the non-stick surface does not extend over the top of the lip.The color of the ceramic coating on her pans is a yellow white and seems really thick--the coating on this pan is a blue white and doesn't seem as thick (possibly because the coating doesn't extend over the top of the lip).Additionally, her Aeternum sauce pans have the word "Aeternum" embossed on the bottom of each pan.The bottom of this pan has the word Bialetti painted on.Her Bialetti Aeternum pans came with a 5 year warranty, I have been unable to locate any warranty information on this Bialetti EASY sauce pan.

This review only compares this sauce pan with Aeternum sauce pans that we currently have.We did not use it and have returned it to Amazon.Therefore, I cannot comment on how well it works.You will have to make that determination based upon other reviews.

As advertised, this pan needs minimal oil to prevent sticking.It heats rapidly and evenly, handles well, and cleans easily.It is NOT the color I ordered.I chose silver and received PURPLE.Stands out form the other pots, but NOT what I wanted.

This is a good pan,cooks evenly and it heats up fast.My only gripe, is that the way they advertise this product it seems that you don't need oil or butter ,but in reality you do.Read the fine print on the inside of the Packaging.Other than that ,i like this pan,it's a good alternative to Teflon.

I gave it 3 stars for the nonstick surface.Nowhere in the product information did I find that they are not suitable for glass (ceramic) cook tops.The medallion on the bottom causes it to rock, but if you aren't doing any serious cooking on these small sizes you could probably live with it. I was told they were recommended by Cooks.I subscribe to Cooks and if I can find that issue I'll drop them a note. Because.....I keep a set of Chantal lids, and when I put one on (tried)it didn't fit because the skillet was out of round!Bad quality control.

these pans are great. they were voted number 1 on america's test kitchen so i gave them a try. i will never spend the big bucks on another nonstick frying pan again. they surpass even the ones i've spent 150.00 on. you wont regret a purchase from t-fal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I opted to purchase this set instead of the ($!@) more-expensive cobalt blue pans to replace those in a full set that I totally wore out through the years. I was afraid that the lower price was a clue that the quality would be inferior, but no-o-o-o! T-Fal, I love you. (And I don't care that you don't match the rest of my set.)

Swiss Diamond Cast-Aluminum Nonstick 8-Inch Fry Pan with LidOver the years, my wife and I have tried all sorts of cookware. We have a good set of Calphalon stainless-steel cookware, but we've never mastered the art of cooking sticky dishes such as eggs without a non-stick pan. We've tried every type of non-stick pan we've encountered. Some are non-stick for a short time only before the surface gets mucked up. Our best Teflon pans, such as those by Calphalon, seem to remain non-stick for a very long time with careful cleaning, but recently we've learned that when heated, Teflon (PFOA) cookware outgases chemicals that are definitely not good for you. (An advisory committee has recommended that the EPA classify PFOA as a possible carcinogen.)

Swiss Diamond is PFOA-free and fantastically non-stick. We've used our two skillets extensively to cook eggs and to brown meat, and they look and work like new. Nothing sticks. Omelets are easy to prepare. Cleanup is a breeze. The lids have vents that can be opened or closed, a useful feature. The manufacturer says you can use metal utensils, but we've stuck with plastic, so I can't say how they'll hold up to contact with metal. I can't recommend Swiss Diamond cookware too highly. It is the stuff I've been looking for for decades.

We searched locally for an 8 inch frying pan with a lid.It didn't seem to us that we were trying to find anything obscure yet, after looking in store after store, I finally decided to try Amazon.I was pleased to find both this one, as well as a more expensive one by Caphalon.I hemmed and hawed over whether I should get the more expensive pan, since I was was more familiar with the Caphalon name, but ultimately I bought this Swiss Diamond pan.

If you are indecisive like me, FEAR NOT.This pan is terrific and exceptionally well made.It's heavy not at all flimsy.It feels just as well made as Magnalite or Caphalon.It very much resembles cast iron in the way it feels, too.For a small pan, it's surprisingly thick and heavy.The handle is solid and it cooks food beautifully.I highly recommend this item.

I heard about Swiss Diamond over on the food forum & was in need of a small nonstick "egg" pan.

The person loved their s.d. so much that I thought I'd give one a try. I guess I've had it about 3 months & use it every day.It browns food well, cooks evenly, & is a breeze to clean.

I have a big drawer full of All-Clad....which I love.....but a little nonstick pan like this DOES have it's uses in my kitchen.

I have to admit that I've been treating my new baby carefully even tho they say you don't have to.We'll see how it lasts over the long haul.

I'm thinking about getting the whole set.It's about the same price as a pan & a half of the All-Clad.

PS.I often read criticism about the use of n.s. cookware but I've noticed most cooks I've seen on tv use them for certain things.......including Julia Child & Jacques Pepin.

I have been using this dandy little pan at least twice a day for over 9 months & still love it.I haven't experienced any flaking or chipping of the non-stick material but I don't use metal with it & hand wash.The clean-up is every easy.

I've wasted money and risked my health buying inexpensive teflon frying pans now that I've discovered Swiss Diamond pans, I can say never again!

Scramble eggs? rinse with water and scrape w/ silicone spatula!

Unless dish is very oily, just use hot water.

Frying eggs? Three eggs nickel size drop of oil Two eggs, dime size.

Buy the pan with the lid, you won't be sorry.To have the perfect tools for the pan, get a silicone spoon spatula.Treat yourself to an assortment of silicone spatulas, scrapers and spoon spatulas (look for one piece handle-blades no gunk inside blade)

I have been looking for non-stick frying pans that utilize cast aluminum. If you've ever cooked with cast aluminum, you'll agree with me that it's the only way to cook. On top of that, it's difficult to find frying pans with glass lids and plastic handles. Other items I've looked at expect you to cover the pan with a dinner plate while holding the handle with an oven mitt.
