Contempo Non-Stick Paella Pan with Lid

Contempo Non-Stick Paella Pan with LidWe've never made paella in this pan but use it all the time.Originally bought it to make potstickers but found that it is a great large skillet, perfect for pancakes and bacon. Have had the pan for over a year now and the non-stick coating is holding up great. The bottom center of the pan has warped a little bit.It is not a problem for us since we have a gas stove but may not be the best pan if you have a flat stovetop.

I like big frying pans. I bought an inexpensive Tramontina 14" pan a couple years ago and loved the extra size, but it didn't come with a lid and it was only about 1/8" thick so it quickly warped. Next I bought a much more expensive Calphalon 14" pan. It came with a great stainless steel lid, but the anodize interior coating was a real pain to cook with. Everything sticks to the anodize coating and it takes some serious scrubbing to get it clean.

I was excited to see a Circulon 14" pan at a reasonable price. I have a 12" nonstick Circulon fry pan that I have used for years and it's held up great. My Circulon cookware is very thick, the 12" fry pan is about a 1/4" thick and has never warped. I was expecting the same construction quality form this new 14" pan.

Unfortunately, this new 14" Circulon pan is very thin, about 1/8". I don't expect it to stay flat very long. I do like the nonstick interiorit is the type that feels a little bit gritty when you run your finger over it and I have noticed that this type of coating seems to hold up better than the ultra smooth, glossy coatings in other pans.

The lid is nice, clear glass, but it is slightly smaller in diameter than my older Calphalon and Tramontina pans, so not really interchangeable between the three.

My search for a really good 14" pan goes on.

Edit:

I've had this pan for a few months now and wanted to update my review. The good news is that it has not warped. Although it is very thin, it is holding up great. It has pretty much been my everyday pan, used for everything from eggs and bacon to fried pork chops. The nonstick coating is still like new and I have no problems with the pans construction or performance.

But, I still don't like the pan. I don't like the shallow sides, and I don't like the dainty little handles. I want a pan that's big, brawny, deep, and has a long, fat handle to match.

And I may have finally found my pan. My local Calphalon Outlet store just got a new shipment that included the Calphalon Unison 14 inch Frying Pan. It's big, heavy, deep, and has a great handle. Only thing missing is the lid. Fortunately, the lid form this Circulon pan does fit it just fine. The only quibble I have with the Calphalon Unison 14" pan is that the bottom is not perfectly flat. It makes no difference on my gas stove, but might be an issue for glass cooktops. The Calphalon Outlet store had a big discount on this pan (really big discount) and I wonder if the not-quite-flat bottom was the reason it was at the outlet store.

Although this Circulon product has sometimes been described as an "everyday pan" in truth it is a really fantastic Paella pan.I would not have considered buying a non-stick paella pan from anyone other than Circulon. The high/low grooves make it metal utensil safe and based on experience with other Circulon products the quality is top-notch and it should last nearly forever.Although it isn't likely I'll ever use this pan in the oven, it is oven-safe to 400 degrees F.My only complaint is that it is not dishwasher safe.Truth be told, it can be cleaned in the dishwasher without harming the non-stick coating, but it will eventually ruin the beautiful anodized finish (I learned this with my Circulon round grill pan).Circulon has introduced a line that is safe in the dishwasher but this pan is not from that line.As it is, the pan is very easily cleaned with a few swipes in warm soapy water.

This is my idea of a perfect paella pan.The more traditional carbon steel pans need a fair amount of care, they must be seasoned and re-seasoned after each use.Traditional paella pans have a slightly rounded bottom which is great on a gas burner for paella or on gas stoves. My stove is the very flat glass (ceramic?) top which needs to have a pan with a very flat base. When I make paella I always start with a little olive oil in the pan.My paellas don't stick to it and even the crusty bits come up easily. The includeded lid is a bonus as I like to cover my paellas as they rest a few minutes before serving.

I did see on reviewer who thought this pan was thin and seemed surprised it had not warped on her.The pan is perfect as it is with excellent heat distribution and with the Circulon quality it will not warp unless mis-used.Do I work for Circulon? No.I do own a number of Circulon pieces and have been happier with them than with any other brand of cookware (except for the not dishwasher safe part).

Great Pan and Great Value.

I got this for larger dishes that wouldn't fit in my 12 inch skillet. I was torn between this and several pans but chose this one because it had a lid. It doesn't really do what I bought it for because when I stir larger meals The contents of the pan usually spills on my stove. Very annoying

I LOOOOOOVE this pan it is totally nonstick & super easy to clean. Heats evenly & my favorite part is how large the cooking area is.

REVERSIBLE PRE-SEASONED CAST IRON

REVERSIBLE PRE-SEASONED CAST IRONI love this griddle. I set it on my stovetop over 2 burners and have very even heat distribution. The grooved side is great for steaks, burgers, and chicken, and the flat side makes perfect pancakes, eggs, etc.

Cast iron is a great surface to cook on. For many people they are hesitant to use cast iron because they believe food sticks too much. If the griddle is seasoned properly, and not scrubbed clean with a scouring pad and soap, food rarely sticks. To season the pan simply lightly oil the pan surfaces and bake for half an hour. When I make pancakes I do a quick re-seasoning by making sure the griddle is hot before I put any oil or food on it. Then, prior to making my first pancake, I spread a light coat of batter on the cooking surface and let it brown up good. I then scrape it off with my thinnest steel spatula. Now I'm ready to cook perfect pancakes that turn easily, without sticking. If you still have a sticking problem, try making smaller cakes--they're easier to handle.

Anyway, I highly recommend this product. I also use mine on camping trips and do not hesitate to throw it on top of hot coals. The thing is indestructible, and the more you use it, the better it gets.

I decided to check Target before shelling out $55 plus shipping for this griddle. Glad I did, because ChefMate makes the *exact* same one (complete with same handles and round spot on both sides) for $20.Great griddle, but overpriced here.

Emeril by All-Clad E9649064 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Vertical Poultry Roaster Cookware, Black

Emeril by All-Clad E9649064 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Vertical Poultry Roaster Cookware, BlackThis is a very well made pan.The surface is not as nicely finished as a Lodge product (number one in my book), it is manufactured in China. But the quality is decent and this pan will probably last forever. This in turn makes me wonder if I will regret this purchase.I've used it only once and to be truthful the "infusion" seemed to make no impact on the flavor of the chicken.Maybe I'm just at an age where most of my tastebuds are dead or perhaps I need to find some better recipes. For those who adore beer can chicken cooking this pan will probably be a big hit.

If you want to get a perfect finish on this pan rub it with a generous coat of shortening, warm it very slightly on the stovetop and then pop it into a 500 oven and turn the oven off.I always seal my cast iron just after baking homemade pizzas when the oven is super heated.Just don't put a cold pan into a hot oven. The surface will be glossy and perfect. You better have a good exhaust fan though, as the fumes are not too pleasant.

I love this pan!It makes the chicken brown nicely all the way around no soggy white spots on the back plus it gives the meat moisture you cannot achieve with just baking as usual.Being cast iron, it will last a lifetime (assuming you don't put it in the dishwasher or let it rust) and can be used on the grill as well as in the oven, under the broiler, and on the stove-top (not that I plan to do the broiler or stove-top.)The veges in the ring around the chicken are super delicious with the chicken drippings on them (probably not too healthy though.)I was surprised to see that the well in the middle was not as deep as the cone. The bottom of the well is only about 1/2 way down the cone. However, it is certainly deep enough to hold all the liquid you need to roast the chicken and not evaporate.

For a specialty pan, it was fairly expensive, but considering the durability and what it does to roast chicken (and veges) I'd say it is well worth every penny. You'll certianly never have to buy another one.If you can swing the purchase price, I would recommend you buy two, so you can roast two chickens at once.(Debone one and put it in the freezer for future eating in salads or soups.)

If you follow the instructions for care, you'll be happy with the pre-seasoning of the pan.

I have been cooking two chickens at a time in a similar pan for about 5 years now. I can roast two chickens@ 350 degrees in exactly 75 minutes every single time. They're perfect and mouthwatering. My pans are now rusting and will soon need to be replaced (my husband put them in the dishwasher, of all things). I searched the web for hours and discovered this model. It includes the well (for wine, beer, etc.) that is also a "mounting post" for the chicken, as well as a place to pour water to catch the grease and increase humidity in the oven (as recommended for my pans). Many poultry roasters do not have both features. Since I havesuccessfully roasted at least 50 or more chickens with both of these features in the past 5 years, I'm sticking with this formula and will purchase two of these pans so I can continue to cook two whole chickens at a time in my over. It's going to be $120 to replace them, so I'm waiting until replacing them is an absolute must. (In addition to putting wine or beer in the well, don't forget to rub down the inside and outside of each chicken with something similar to McCormick's Grill Mates' Zesty Herb Marinade or Garlic Herb & Wine Marinade--two of our favorite flavors. When you pull your chicken from the oven, you'll have one as tasty as Costco's rotisserie chickens. I stopped buying them, because mine were turning out just as good or better!)

Works great for chicken and veggies but also cooks ribs.I wrapped a rack of baby backs around it and put onions and veggies in the outer ring.It works great. The grease and excess BBQ sauce I slathered the ribs with was collected in the bottom and basted the veggies.

I saw this pan used on one of Emeril's shows and fell in love with the idea immediately. After several "Beer Can Chickens" I had more than my share of fall over's and messes in the oven and grill. This pan offered of course great stability, it is heavy cast iron. Like all the rest of Emeril's cast iron I thought it to be a bit over priced (compared to Lodge Cast Iron) but in the grand scheme of things, properly taken care of, the lifespan certainly out weights the cost. The well is deep and holds more than enough veggies for 4-6 people serving (I only do 3). I've used it too for just sautéing vegetables and nothing works better than cast iron. I can't wait to try it on the grill. All in all, great product.

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 11-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless-Steel 11-Inch Nonstick Fry PanI had always loved my cast iron cookware from this company:however they can not make non-stick cookware;I suggest you look elsewhere.6 months after I purchased my pan it began to delaminate. The coating started seperating from the cooking surface.Who wants pieces of non-stick coating in their scrambled eggs?

I called their warranty line. They don't staff it with enough people because you have to wait forever to get through and they throw you to voice mail if it's busy. When you get through to them, they will politely explain to you that they don't pay for you to ship the pan back, despite what it says on their web site. That's right!now I'm out an additional 20 bucks!

THANK YOU LE CRUESET for showing me the best side of corporate indifference.I could get better warranty service if I'd bought from WilliamsSonoma who stand by their products:however I wanted to buy local. Now I understand why my local kitchen store stopped stocking their stuff.Next time,I will buy a cheap pan at Target and if it last a year then I'm still ahead of the game.

Meanwhile,I will ask my gypsy friends to curse the Le Cruset executives who are apparently making tons of money by ripping off their customers.

I was skeptical of the value of this frying pan, but being a fan of the brand, I decided to plunk down my hard earned dollars and take a chance.Boy am I glad that I did! This is a thick pan that heats evenly and doesn't warp like so many of the thinner nonstick products. The handle is hollow and the overall weight of the pan is much lighter than Le Creuset's typical cast iron pans.I have cooked hashbrowns, eggs, pork, burgers, chicken, fried rice, etc. in this pan and it works well for everything.Clean-up is a breeze.Le Crueset says it is dishwasher safe (although it might discolor) but recommends hand washing. The instructions recommend seasoning the pan with vegetable oil before its first use.I did this and haven't had to use any non-stick spray for anything.Cooking meat in this pan surprised me.With the pan on a medium setting, I am able to brown the meat and seal in the flavor much like a cast iron pan. They also make a slightly deeper version of the pan which is great if you like to cook all-in-one stove top meals. The deeper version has a fitted lid that costs twenty dollars extra.

I've only had this pan for a little over a month, so this is not a review of the product's durability. I'll come back at six months and a year from now with updates to this. But so far this is a very nice pan. It heats evenly, has a great nonstick finish, and has helped improve my omelettes quite a bit. Prior to this, I was using a Cuisinart nonstick pan the hard-anodized version...not the Multiclad, which is better and more expensive than their more budget-friendly line. My original plan was to upgrade to the Multiclad, but I have a few pieces of Le Creuset enameled cast iron and have found them to be excellent pieces of cookware, so it seemed like a good idea to try out their stainless/nonstick pans. Up to this point, I'm impressed with the performance.

A quick note on durability. I've read reviews where folks complain about delamination on nonstick pans. I've also had this happen to me on a couple of pans a few years back. I'm not going to assume anything about how other people are using their pans, but my own personal experience tells me that nonstick pans require a bit more babying than regular stainless and cast iron:

1) Do not use with high heat.

2) Do not use metal utensils in the pan for stirring, cutting, etc...

3) Be careful about bumping, scraping, etc... especially on the edges, where the nonstick surface joins the base.

4) Washing by hand is generally preferred over the dishwasher.

5) Probably not a good idea to cook in the oven with these.

Again, I don't know how others are using their pans. But I can tell you that both times my nonsticks died on me, it was because of one or more of the reasons listed above. Just an observation. I'll try babying this Le Creuset just a bit and see how it holds up over time.

If my understanding is correct, this stainless line is made in China. However, I don't recall seeing the country of origin anywhere on the box or in the manual. It may be something that the company is not eager to advertise. I'm generally not a fan of products made in China. And no...this is not because I'm some nationalistic fearmonger waging a crusade against globalization. Rather, it's simply because my personal experience with Chinese products has often shown them to be poorly manufactured and riddled with quality control issues in many cases. That said, if this pan is indeed made there, then in my opinion it is a good example of a well-made Chinese product. The build, fit, and finish is high quality from what I can see.

Bottom line: a really nice stainless nonstick pan from the makers of some of the best cast iron cookware. I'll be back with durability reports as this pan ages.

Calphalon Professional Nonstick 12-Inch Round Grill Pan

Calphalon Professional Nonstick 12-Inch Round Grill PanI was using my George Foreman grill for almost everything, but decided that once in a while I didn't want to clean the grill pans and I would rather cook on the stove, so I ordered this Calphalon grill pan.

I have other Calphalon products and they hold up very well. The non stick finish makes it super easy to clean.I do not use any non stick spray oils in any of my pansjust olive oil, butter or canola since it is my understanding that the non stick sprays can ruin the finish.I also hand wash my pans.

So far, I am very pleased with this pan for the price and the durability.

I've had this grill pan for about 5 months now, and I use it regularly (a few times a week). It's awesome!

It's such a time saver, since I can grill right on the stove without having to start up the outdoor grill. This is especially true if I only need to grill up a few pieces of meat or make a quick grilled cheese sandwich or if there's a thunderstorm outside and I really want to make a burger...I heat up the pan, do what I need, and that's it. Coming from a guy who loves to BBQ and grill, the only thing you'll miss is (obviously) the smoky flavor (nothing a little liquid smoke can't fix), but you'll get everything else-the sear, the char, and the grill marks.

The easy cleaning is probably what won me over. 8 out of 10 times, I just let the pan cool naturally on the stove, and then come back later in the night to wipe clean with a paper towel and then rinse under warm water by hand/soft sponge with a little bit of dish soap. A handful of times when there's a lot of char and gunk on it when I'm done, I've let it cool down and fill it up with water to let it sit in water. That way, it softens up all the burnt pieces and makes for easier paper towel wiping & hand rinsing later on.

Highly recommended!

I can't imagine not having this pan.It is perfect for hamburgers and bacon because it keeps whatever you are cooking/grilling out of the fat. This pan is light enough that it heats up very quickly while still feeling sturdy.

We purchased this pan for its size and for the ridges in the bottom. Our explicit use is for cooking bacon and while we are sure it works for plenty of other things it works perfectly for our bacon mornings! It also works really well for omelets too but for us it was a no brainer to buy because the standard pans are just too small to cook any decent size portion of bacon.FYI, the ridges also help keep the whatever you are making from burning.Either way if you're looking for a good pan to cook up some bacon look no further. As an aside, the pan is very light and almost seems flimsy but our opinion is that it's just a light pan that does its job well.

Calphalon C1210P Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan

Calphalon C1210P Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe PanI have upgraded my rating after using the pan every day for a month.I am giving it five stars because it is a tremendous value.I was too critical in my initial review.

This is my first Calphalon pan. I purchased it primarily to use as an egg and breakfast fare pan. I wanted a good non-stick pan, because most of my other pans are stainless steel.

I consider it a very good buy for the price. It has a very attractive design and the interior non-stick cooking surface appears to be very durable. However, the pan is slightly heavy and slow to reach the proper temperature compared to stainless steel. The manufacturer's enclosed brochure says the slow warm-up is due to the non-stick surface (true of most non-stick pans). Once it arrives at the required temperature, it performs very well. This aluminum pan is the equivalent of a permanently seasoned cast iron griddle. It produces foolproof omelets and the food never sticks.I use it to warmup chicken breasts and make grilled sandwiches too.It is the most used pan in the house, because of my passion for eggs.

This product, like a few other Calphalon products I have examined, slipped past the quality control inspector. On my pan there is an interior area, smaller than a grain of rice, that was not sprayed with the non-stick coating. It is high enough on the pan where no one will ever cook on that spot, but it is there in plain sight. The lack of quality control may have something to do with the Calphalon pans being manufactured in third world countries no offense intended. This pan is made in China. You would probably not have any trouble forgiving the stray blemish.Especially, when you consider this pan's beauty, functionality, and price.

Here is my list of PROS and CONS for this purchase.

PROS:

Good price.

Excellent non-stick surface appears to be very durable too.

Excellent stain resistant exterior.

Cool & comfortable handle.

Attractive appearance.

Lifetime warranty.

CONS:

Slow to warm up, because of the non-stick surface.

Fairly heavy pan you won't flip anything without a spatula think griddle.

Quality control at Calphalon could be better.

The handle is beautiful, but the finish on the handle and rivets are not as refined as some of the more expensive cookware brands. However, it has no impact on the cooking.

Conclusion:Excellent pan for the price.

I picked up this Commercial Nonstick skillet along with several other pieces of Calphalon's open stock collection, and I have been impressed with every piece I've gotten. This is great for burgers as well as omeletes and pancakes.About the only "problem" with it is that I'm not accustomed quite yet to the high quality found in Calphalon, and I didn't expect the burgers to brown on a non-stick surface as quickly as they did, so I wound up with two rather rare burgers as a result of fearing that I would burn them. Now that I see how Calphalon's nonstick line cooks, I have had more success, and now I have beautifully cooked hamburgers every time.

This is nonstick, so you do have to treat it with kid gloves, but as long as you use nylon or wooden utensils, do not overheat the pan, and don't run it through the dishwasher, this pan should last you a lifetime.I'm so glad I bought this, because I know that Calphalon's line of Collector's Edition products are only available for a limited time each year.I'm glad I didn't miss out on this beauty before it was gone forever!

Buy Calphalon C1210P Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan Now

This Calphalon Commercial Nonstick "Collector's Edition" 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan is from the newest line of Calphalon's nonstick cookware. The "Commercial" nonstick finish on the inside of these pans is very durable as long as one uses wooden, nylon, or good plastic cooking utensils with them and keeps the heat below 400 degrees (medium-high). This 10-inch pan is the perfect size for making crepes, without any need for butter in the pan. The crepes cook quickly and evenly, so it is easy to prepare a lot of them for blintzes or crepes suzette. Also you can make buckwheat blinis or use it as a small griddle for silver dollar pancakes or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Since this pan has a beautiful stainless steel handle, it will stay cool to the touch. Calphalon recommends hand-washing of this pan. It will make a wonderful addition to your collection or a nice gift for a friend.

I have several Calphalon pots and pans that I've purchased over the years that have been just great. All of which were manufactured in Ohio.

This pan became useless after three months of gentle care using only nylon utensils made for non-stick pans. The non-stick coating on this pan lived up to its name. It does not stick to the pan's cooking surface, but instead peels off in big flakes.

This skillet, and two other Calphalon pans that I've purchased from Amazon in the last year were made in China, and are terrible as to quality, endurance, and finish. This skillet did a good job for a month or so, but then started slowly losing its non-stick surface.

The other two pans received from Amazon were of such poor quality right out of the box that I returned them the same day for a refund. No such luck with this pan.

The brand name Calphalon does not mean a quality product anymore if it was made in China.

I have some of the finest cookware and lots of it being a former chef, but this is by far the best little pan I have.

I use this one everyday. I can tell you that this pan is a little workhorse. Don't let the title fool you. This is more than a griddle/crepe pan. You can do Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Cornbread, Omelettes, Pancakes, Sausage & Peppers, Fry Pork Chops, Steaks: Any thing without a lot of sauce/gravy works perfectly. I've done stir fry, hamburgers, steak, hot dogs, everything -you name it. I reach for this pan time and time again. The clean-up is fabulous. Nothing sticks to it at all. You won't go wrong with this sweet little pan, if fact you'll be sorry you didn't buy two of them.

Norpro Nonstick Mini Waffle Pan

Norpro Nonstick Mini Waffle PanThis is NOT your regular waffle grill, but it piqued my interest. Prime the grill with a non-stick spray and pre-heat, pour your batter and flip when the top no longer looks wet and give it a good flattening with a turner to imprint the "waffle" on the other side.

It's a nicely constructed heavy weight grill for it's little size and it heated evenly even with the thick banana and chocolate chip batter I tried with it for the first run. Partly due to the thick batter, the waffles turned out to be like a waffle/pancake mix. It was a challenge to flip, but doable and I'm sure with practice it will become easier.

This little grill may not appeal to all as both sides will not come out as crisp and even as a regular waffle maker, but I like it and it's compact size.

The waffle creates with this pan are very thin, not at all like the ones from a twist over type of waffle pan

Lodge Logic L10SK3BS Boy Scouts of America Pre-Seasoned Skillet, 12-inchThis skillet is made with the typical Lodge quality and attention to detail. While I'm sure that it is functionaly identical to the regular 12-in skillet, the Boy Scout emblem on the bottom makes it stand out.Perfect for the campsite, back yard BBQ, or the kitchen.

It arrived with a broken handle. As you can see in the picture, the handle is a little samll for a heavy skillet like this one.But no problem, I packed it up, returned it, and a replacement was received considabily fast!(for super saver free shipping, Amazon probably lost money on this purchase for sending the heavy skillet 3 times (original, return, and replacement).Great service Amazon!

I had no experience using cast-iron cookware prior to this one but I consider myself and pretty good cook.I did a lot of reading and research on cast iron, and gave this a try.It works great! The pre-season coating worked as promised.I use it to prepare steak mostly and the result was nice.I am still experimenting and adjusting cook time as this piece works differently than any other cookware I had before, but I like what it can do so far.I have seen the same skillet (except for the boy scouts logo) selling cheaper at Walmart. But for something that heavy, I can understand the extra cost even just for shipping.I have not seen one with the boy scout logo anywhere and I think it looks a lot more handsome that the regular one.Combining the 2 factors, I think the extra few dollars was well worthed.

Ever since I have the skillet, I am constantly watching for good steak on sale from the local georcery so I can do more (rewarding) experiments.

This is a second one of my cast iron Lodge pans. I am very happy with it, as it proved invaluable in my kitchen. Thick cast iron provides even heat throughout the pan, without cold spots or hot spots. I don't have to use high heat to get amazing results. True, I do have to use both hands, but this is a minor inconvenience (and I get a workout). I suppose gradually I will replace all of my fancy non-stick aluminum pots and pans with those made in the USA by Lodge. They are not only "as good as", they are "better than", when it comes to cooking performance.

Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Ready Premium Cookware with Lid

Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Ready Premium Cookware SaucePan with Cover 3-QuartI bought this 6.5 Quart Saucepan to go along with an induction cooktop by the same company. To test it out though I tried it with cubed chicken breast on an electric stove, which in lesser quality pans usually causes hotspots and results in some chicken underdone, some overdone. I was impressed that the Duxtop pan heated evenly and the chicken was consistently cooked over the entire surface of the pan. When it came time to add a sauce and up the heat for reduction, it also performed well but I did need to watch the heat as not to have anything stick or burn, normal for a new pot though.

The handles stayed pretty cool and I did not need to use pot holders. This is a fairly heavy pan for the money about $27 as an Amazon Warehouse Deal and not sure I'd pay more than that considering the lid. The lid is VERY thin and does not sit exactly flush across the top of the pot; a little bend to it so it allows some steam to escape. Not a deal breaker for me. Attractive shiny finish is a plus looks great on the stove. Deglazed and cleaned up with very little effort.

Will update with induction cooking results.

Overall, so far, pleased with this purchase.

01/29/21 UPDATE: I have used this pan on the Duxtop Induction Cooktop to create an Asian stir fry with noodles. The pan heated quickly at the default setting which is 5; I raised the heat in increments to 10 and used peanut oil to help avoid smoking. It seared the chicken very quickly with barely any sticking. Some bits did begin to brown and coat the bottom of the pan. As I added four tablespoons of Thai fish sauce the brown bits quickly released and the pan deglazed very easily. The rice noodles did not stick until the very end when I allowed them to sit just a little too long while getting plates. Once the pan was empty I added a cup of water to it while it was still warm and the remaining noodles came loose easily. Cleanup was quick and only required a scrubbie sponge.

I bought this with duxtop cooktop because we are not sure if the cookware we already have can use on induction cooktop. To our surprise, the pan we received is a heavy duty stainless steel pan, the steel is much thicker than all the other cookwares we have. It works great on my induction cooktop and my electric burner. And I am pretty sure it will last forever.

Nicely made, even heating. Only negative is that the handle is too round in cross-section, making it hard to pour from the saucepan one-handed. Nevertheless a great value.

I love so much my Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Sauce pan! It's very well built, the quality is over my expectation frankly. I want a multiclad or allclad cookware for a long time, many friends owned this kind of cookware and can not stop raving about them. They are the permanent solution to get rid of Teflon cookware. But I think the all clad multi-ply stainless steel cook wares are expensive for me. Now, I feel I'm lucky to find my Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Sauce pan, I was suspicious about the quality, so just ordered one sauce pan to see if everything matched my expectation. I am looking forward to add more to my kitchen collection to replace my old cookware.

seemed like a good deal and the reviews were favorable.Pot actually looks and feels pretty good for the price. The lid is thin, poor quality metal that does not even fit the pot correctly. It also had dents and bends along the edge. The handle on the lid is not even centered.this is very cheap but so was the price.I'll just use a lid from another pot I already own.

Island Dogs 54677 Gun Egg Fryer, Silver

Island Dogs 54677 Gun Egg Fryer, SilverI got this as a gift for my brother that is into guns and eggs.He told me that the handle broke off of it the 3rd or 4th time he used it.other than that he loves it.I would recommend buying one but be careful.

I dont actually believe the title of this applies to the revolver shaped egg fryer, but its still pretty rad. The first thing that struck me when I saw it was the shape. It was clearly shaped like a gun, how sweet is that! I have been trying to think of ways to casually weaponize breakfast for sometime, and was delighted to find that this bad boy does the job. My eggs are so dangerous now, that I get lady babes visiting me just to have some of these bad ass gun shaped eggs i throw down breakfast steezy! Nothing goes better with my morning glass of Tuscan milk than eggs, and pancakes (I use that thing for pancakes too) shaped like guns. Often times, in the mornings I am reminded of how bad ass I am because of the gun shaped eggs I am eating. Every morning, before I go sells shoes and underwear at work, I think, "jesus I am dangerous and all because of my revolver fried eggs... ...and the three wolf moon shirt I wear on the daily." If you do your research you will find other gun shaped egg awesome makers too, I like the one with silencer.I cant wait to spend 8 dollars on this fantastic product...

As a rural South Texas bed and breakfast owner, I get a lot of liberal yahoos stopping in without a gun on their hip. When I ask 'em why they ain't packin', they usually say "I just don't believe people should have guns" or some other sissy boy mantra, I can't help but wonder how long we'll be free.

In the mornin' I make em some sunny side up eggs and tell 'em "Guess it's kill or be killed time, Streisand. NOW GET OUT!"

It does not work for eggs, but should work for pancakes or cookies. Eggs are too runny and if your pan is not perfectly flat, the egg just runs out from underneath the sharper.

Camp Chef 20IN Lumberjack Skillet Lid

Lumberjack Steel Skillet Lid in Black Seasoned FinishThis lid is not cast iron.It is made of a very light metal.I bought it along with the 20' inch cast iron skillet. When I found the skillet to be warped and sent it back, I had to pay shipping to send this back. So, not only was it a cheap item, I had to pay to get rid of it.Next time, I will be sure that my item is from a different company and a better quality.

I bought this lid to cover my Bayou Classics 20" cast iron skillet. It works, though not perfectly. It does cover the whole opening but just barely I'm sure Bayou would have had a tighter fit had they made one. It's really light slightly too light, but again I'm lucky that it exists. Stu

If I want to use it with my lumberjack pan I will first need to get a new handle. The screw will not secure to the handle.Cheaply made handle.I will buy a sturdier handle from a different manufacturer.
