Rachael Ray Hard Anodized II Nonstick Dishwasher Safe 6-Quart Covered Chef Pan, Orange

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized II Nonstick Dishwasher Safe 6-Quart Covered Chef Pan, OrangeI couldn't be more pleased with this piece of cookware. As with the other Rachael Ray products I have purchased for my kitchen, it is highly useful and cleanup is easy. It's deeper than my other pans that are similar which works out great for any meal.I would highly recommend this for any kitchen!!

This is my second piece of Rachael Ray cookware and it won't be my last! The first piece I got was a smaller 3 qt saute' pan which I love for scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, etc.I don't always like to cook with a tall 8qt or even 10qt stockpot and this 6qt Chef Pan was exactly what I have been looking for. It is a weighty piece and the shape is perfect for making chili, stews, etc.I even steamed some asparagus in it tonight.I LOVE the lid!It fits the pan perfectly no 'play' once it is on. I cooked a dish with pasta in it tonight and it cooked quicker than usual and I'll bet it was the tight fitting lid.

This is an easy pan to lift because of the extra handle and the silicone handles do not get hot. And, it's on the lid, too!!!! No more picking up a hot lid!No more grabbing a too-large kitchen towel to try and take off a steaming hot lid.

Oven safe up to 400 degrees.

Clean up?There isn't any!!!! :) I took paper towels to clean it out and several hours later washed it in dish detergent....I would never put this in the dishwasher...it would take up too much room for one thing this is a LARGE pan, and there is no need!Put a tad of Dawn in it, run some hot water grab a paper towel and the pan is clean.

I have been using hard anodized cookware from an online shopping channel and stainless steel cookware from another online shopping channel. My new favorite is Rachael Ray cookware. I'm serious this is REALLY good stuff! :)

We love this pan for its size and how easy it is to clean. We've only had it a few weeks but it's proven to be a worthy investment.Only thing is it's really really big.So it takes up a lot of the stove.Kind of difficult if you want to use other eyes on your stove-and ours is not a "small" range at all.Not a big deal but just a little FYI.We can use 2 out of 4 eyes using this pan, but since it can be used for everything it's not an issue.

The 12" Green Earth Wok by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick Coating (100% PTFE and PFOA Free)

The 12' Green Earth Wok by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick CoatingThe non-stick goes away very quickly after a few times of using. Don't understand why it gets so high rating and so many good reviews.

I bought this 3 months ago, and I don't use it often. It was great when I first use it and nothing sticks. But after 3 months, food begins to stick at the bottom, making it much harder to clean.

Having had my Green Earth Pan for several months, and loving it, I was delighted to get The Green Earth Wok by Ozeri.Boy, you know this is a quality product by the weight of it.I guessed it would have similar instructions to the frying pan, but read them just the same.

First off I washed the wok with a clean cloth.I then coated it with oil, which is preconditioning it.I do this with my Green Earth Pan too, at least once a month.

The first time I used it was to do a stir fry.I put a tablespoon of olive oil into the wok, turned the heat to 5, (medium) and let it heat up a little.I then added my onions so that they would go translucent, followed by the rest of my vegetable.I turned them every few minutes, but didn't need to watch them all the time.I then added my already cooked meat, and seasoning. The food was delicious, and all I had was a single pan to wash.

I waited for it to cool down, and then had warm soapy water, and a sponge.I wiped the interior, and nothing had stuck on it.I then carefully dried it.

My next creation was a Shepherd's pie, which is onions, ground chuck, and English OXO (beef cubes).I added a little water to the pan, and then cooked everything in the Wok.When this part of the Shepherd's pie was cooked, it just slid into the huge pie dish, and I added the mashed potato to the top, and browned it.

The Ozeri Green Earth Wok cooks food evenly, and it seems like half the normal time.I love that it has a shiny black natural coating, and is totally non-stick in my opinion.I guess that is does stick if someone doesn't read the instructions, has it on a too high a heat, or uses metal spoons in it.

It is also much healthier to cook in this wok as it is free of PTFE, PFOA, and other harmful chemicals.

When I have finished cooking, if Len isn't ready for his food, I can put the wok in the oven to keep the food warm.It is oven safe up to 180 degs C or 356 F.

Ozeri think so much of their product that it has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This is for their workmanship under normal use and service.Anyone not taking care of the product loses this warranty.

I have put the Green Earth Wok to so many uses, that I am now thinking about getting a lid for it.I don't need several of my small kitchen appliances, as this does so much.

I was sent The Green Earth Wok by Ozeri for my personal use. I was under no contract, or obligation to write a review, or to write a favorable one if I chose to write one.

Do NOT expect any warrenty or customer service from Ozeri/Amazon when the "non-stick" coating ceases to be non-stick as internet feedback will tell you happens.

You are buying expensive cookware from a company that does no business with Sears, Target, Macy's, Wal-Mart because they don't want to follow the Return policies of major retailers.

This is quite simply the best wok (the best PAN of any sort for that matter)I have ever used. The ceramic surface is amazing great heat conduction, awesome non-stick cooking, super easy clean up.I'm going to replace many of my traditional pans with additional Ozeri pans.

Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron 10 1/4 Inch Square Skillet Grills

Le Creuset Square Skillet Grill PanThe only reason why this doesn't get the last star, in my book, is because of its somewhat limited usefulness. However, if you live in an apartment or otherwise anywhere where grilling is impossible, this is the next best thing....like all other Le Creuset products this heats evenly and wonderfully and takes abuse.I got mine as part of a 6-piece set (along with a Dutch Oven, Baking Pan, and Casserole) and sorta at first saw this as a "filler" piece. However, to it's credit, this pan can do even easilly-burned items like tofu dogs and fake bacon WONDERFULLY, which shocked me--I was convinced that nothing could give a "grilled" effect to those items. I even got adventerous the first time I used it and grilled some apple rings.I panicked when some sugar seemed to be burnt on for good despite a good soaking, but after the pot had been dried and put away for 48 hours it flaked right off.Forget what you know about nonstick surfaces, btw, and banish those bad memories of cruddy, flaking Teflon from the 70's.Just treat this well (I only use wooden utensils on it) and it will treat you well.Follow the instructions and enjoy!Just be sure to use a potholder and realize that once this thing gets hot it STAYS hot for a LONG time.

Wow, I love this pan!I also live in an apartment, so this is a great substitute for outdoor grilling when you want a quick dinner. It's not as good as the outdoor charcoal grill, but this has some advantages. It'ssuper easy.I use this pan several times a week.I pre-heat the pan, brush a little canola oil to the ribs, and while it warms up to the right temperature, I prepare the food.I cut some veggies (can use zucchini, squash, small eggplant, onions, bell pepper, etc), on the bias, so there's more surface area, toss with olive oil, salt & pepper, and grill. You may have to do several rounds of it if you have lots of veggies. After cooking until just tender, toss with a little balsamic vinegar and olive oil.DELICIOUS!!Also, we've been grilling some great local wild salmon on this pan.It is unbelievable. It is very quick, so don't overcook.Season with salt and pepper, and anything you like. Just practice a couple times, experiment with the temperature and your technique, and you'll see how easy and tasty it is.If you can get some homegrown or organic produce, it's so much more tasty.Simple grilling complements good ingredients.

(1) Where is it written, who decreed that skillets should be round?(2) Why has it taken me so long to discover the advantages of a square fry pan?

The answers are: nowhere that I know of, and because my mother always used a round skillet. She would have loved this enameled cast iron beauty that leaves appetizing sear marks on meat a char effect without the mess. The ribbed base captures grease allowingfor healthier low fat cooking, and the surface isa satiny black enamel that cleans in a breeze.

It's compatible with all heating surfaces, and has an easy hold comfortable handle. We lightly applied vegetable oil to the ribs before our first use, and for several times thereafter.Since then there has been no need for the addition of oils.By heating the grill for a few minutes on medium heat (test with a drop of water and heat until water droplets sizzle) we've found the cooking surface primed for superior cooking.

This nifty item has such a plethora of uses it can be used in the oven (keep your oven glove at the ready) or even on a backyard barbecue.

Don't let the high price tag and the cast iron thing scare you away from this great product. It's not your mother's cast iron of stuck-on messes and rust in your food. It's very easy to season, and from there it works great. We've been able to cook everything from salmon, to buffalo, to pineapples with no sticking.

Unlike it's predecessor, the George Foreman grill, it cooks many kind of foods beautifully without drying it out or sticking. The key...temperature control. Since it works with your stove, you can control the amout of heat you need.

Also, having a wee kitchen, it's nice not to have another appliance taking up valuable counter space.

One of the best features is the lifetime warranty. And they mean it too. My friend had a Le Creuset teapot that rusted out and they sent her a replacement for free.

Sure it's pricey, but you get what you pay for with this pan.

I live in the city, and don't have access to a grill. This pan makes perfect steakhouse grill lines on your pan. Just heat it really, really hot -to the point of smoking -on your stove first. Then turn on your broiler to High. Throw on a steak and shove it under the broiler. Two minutes later, rotate the steak 45 degrees. Flip steak and repeat. Professional gourmet steakhouse steakI swear.

But this pan will get oil splatters on it that will turn black under high heat circumstances. Are you going to spend 3 hours scrubbing every nook and cranny with baking soda and a scotch brite? No! I won't either. So I live with the black oil stains, and take them as badges of honor for all of the previous delicious meals past.

However, I'm slightly OCD and the black spots do bug me. I recommend this pan highly, just get the black color. You won't see any stains, and you'll just love this thing.

For panini fans: Get the panini press which fits with this perfectly.

The perfect San Francisco panini: Get a French roll, slice down the middle and slather the insides with olive oil. Lay on a few slices of prosciutto, a few roasted red peppers packed in water or oil (from your deli or condiments section of the grocery store), and a few generous slices of mozzarella. Sprinkle sandwich with a little salt. Grill in pan on medium heat until the first side is golden. Flip sandwich. Adjust heat so that when the second side turns golden, the mozzarella is just starting to melt. Bite into heaven.

Berndes Tradition 9-1/2-Inch Glass Lid

Berndes Tradition 9-1/2-Inch Glass LidI actually bought this lid for use with another brand of cookware. It's perfect pyrex glass, stainless steel screw holding the knob on, and a brass screw-socket in the plastic knob to keep the knob from loosening. (But don't put a metal screw in the microwave...)

Berndes pans are European/centimeter sized, so this lid isn't really 9-1/2 inches, it's really 24 cm.I bought it for my Mauviel 6 quart stew-pan, and it also fits really well on my 9.5 inch (also really 24 centimeter) Sitram skillet.

Their lids have a plastic handle. And they melt, totally, if(foolishly) used in the microwave. And the whole thing then comes apart. Now I have to hope to find a replacement part. They are not constructed securely to begin with.....

Very high quality lid. I bought this to go with the Berndes non stick pan. It was delivered in a very timely manner and thankfully unbroken. Thank you Amazon for your fast free delivery, very fare price and no sales tax.

I have been using it for quite awhile and no problems. The non stick is holding up very well on the pan. A nice size lid/pan. Not too big or small for a single person cooker.

de Buyer 5510.28 11" Mineral Round Frypan

de Buyer 5510.28 11' Mineral Round FrypanVery good. The 11" (28cm) size is hard to find in the US and I was glad to find it.

I received the Bee Wax coated model. I boiled a few batches of water to totally immerse it and remove the wax (and wiped it with paper towel) before seasoning.

The bottom is about 8" which matches perfectly my professional (second-hand) induction cooker.

I can fry raw potato slices much quicker than with any other pans.

West Bend 6111 Heart Smart Indoor Grill, Black

West Bend 6111 Heart Smart Indoor Grill, BlackI have used this grill with great pleasure. It's large enough to hold enough food for 4 servings, plus the griddle comes in handy for toasting buns and such. I haven't had it smoke at all. It grills just like outdoors, including the grill marks. And I can have something grilled and on the table fast. No one has to go out on the deck to cook. It's all done on the countertop. I can't say enough good things about this grill. Cleanup is easy and fast, two of my favorite words in the kitchen. I did a lot of research and reading reviews before making this purchase. I believe I found the best of the indoor grills out there.

I returned the Delonghi BG24 to buy this as they are almost identical but this one is a much better price. As a matter of fact, they are so similar they are probably manufactured by the same company.

There are only 2 differences:

* this one includes a skillet area on the grill plate, so smaller grilling area but you have a side part to grill onions or bacon for your burgers... the drip pan, base and lid are exactly the same

* this one states the grill piece is dishwasher safe, though the grill piece on the BG24 is almost the same, they state it is not dishwasher safe probably is though

It probably uses a lot of electricity, and does not have a true BBQ taste but it works well.I scrub the gril with a teflon safe sponge while on the base with drip pan still in place and then stick it in the diswasher.I don't even put the drip pan in diswasher b/c it is so easy to clean my hand , especially when coated with water.

This is a pretty big unit I'd actually prefer something smaller as I live by myself in a small nyc apt.

This grill is wonderful. With the glass lid, you place water in the pan below the grill and it keep meats and vegetables moist. There is no smoking on any of the items that I have cook.Heat up time is quick and clean up is easy.It has been so hot lately to grill outside, this is the next best thing.Wonderful product and I would purchase it again.

I bought this grill used off Amazon. I had been looking for some way to grill inside away from the stove. As an apartment dweller, I haven't had a real outside 'grill' area in a long time and I missed the taste a grill adds to hamburgers and hot dogs, not to mention the ease of grilling a steak. So I bought this one.

The best points of this grill is that you can put everything except the plastic stand in the dishwasher! So clean up is outstanding! You plug it all in like an electric fry pan, set the tempurature and when the light go off the food goes on. You get the lovely grill marks, the spaces on the grill allow the 'fat' to fall through but aren't wide enough to loose a hotdog (as on an outside grill). I have cooked hot dogs, hamburgers, Chicken, steaks, bacon and eggs (there is a flat area on one side). So far it has been a joy. It held a whole cut up chicken at one time!

The only downs are storage, I am in a small apartment and I have had to dedicate a portion of my counter to this appliance, but I end up using it a lot more than I would if I had a place to put it away. And the lid is almost flat. When I grill anything with hieght, like say BBQ chicken, the lid rests on the meat at an angle. I have tried tenting with foil but you loose the ability to see the food grilling.

I haven't tried any other indoor grills, other than the george foreman stuff and I like this west bend so much more than any of those!

Want West Bend 6111 Heart Smart Indoor Grill, Black Discount?

After reading the many raving reviews, I was pumped up over the purchase of this grill. I'm pretty much a carnivore and eat a lot of meat. I recently bought a West Bend rotisserie oven and it works great, and I've been using it a lot, so I went with the West Bend brand again.

But I just returned the second unit (I returned the first one for an exchange) after a miserable experience of 50 minutes on High with a couple of brats, and they weren't very well done. Forget about ever searing a steak, or even fast cooking it at medium high. Maybe I got 2 defective units in a row, but I'm done with this West Bend 'grill'. Those that like a nice hot grill be forewarned.

Cuisinart 726-38H Chef's Classic Stainless 14-Inch Stir-Fry Pan with Helper Handle and Glass Cover

Cuisinart 726-38H Chef's Classic Stainless 14-Inch Stir-Fry Pan with Helper Handle and Glass CoverI have been looking for a stainless wok for sometime.I did not want a non stick finish as when heated too hot they produce fumes that can be toxic to pet birds.

I purchased this Cusinart Stainless 14 inch stir fry.It is a great pan.It is good looking, large so you can cook a lot of food in it.It is extremely easy to clean. It comes with a nice glass lid.It is also light weight.I own the set of Cuisnart Stainless Cookware that I bought last year on Amazon.I am very happy with the set. This wok pan is an excellent value, you simply will not find a good quality wok at this price.Buy It!!

I am aware that there is another review saying the same thing has happened, dated 2009. We bought this pan and really love it, and use it nearly daily for soups and curries, etc. We've had it for some months and have used it with the lid on, quite often. The other day, we had a chana masala dish simmering (medium-low) with the lid on, and the whole lid shattered. It sounded like a shotgun going off, or like a small transformer blowing. There was no glass in the food in fact, it may be a corning-type glass designed to take heat and to break with rounded edges, like windshields.

I have contacted Cuisinart and was told that we would have to pay shipping and handling. I find this outrageous and unnacceptable, and am pursuing the issue further.

What I want to hear is that Cuisinart is aware of the situation and concerned about possible user endangerment. Perhaps this is a rare event; perhaps the fact that there's no vent led to this situation. Maybe there's a flaw in the glass. Whatever the reason, it's been reported twice on Amazon, so leads me to believe that not only could it happen to others, it probably has done so. I do not know whether the previous reviewer told the company, but I would hate to think that two years (at least) have passed with no change to the design of this pot, if Cuisinart did know of the problem.

Cuisinart customer service was prompt and polite, so I have no complaints about that.

I had shopped around on the internet for a wok like this and this was the best price by far with free shipping too. The quality of this wok is great and we love cooking with it. I've been using woks made of cast iron, aluminums, Teflon-coated materials etc.Learned about some of those materials can react with food and formulate chemical reactions, or the synthetic coating can break down sooner or later. Realized while the family was happily gobbling the foods down, also took along those chemical elements into our bodies. Then I found Cuisinart 14" stainless steel wok when I shopped around for an idea wok. I've had this wok for over a month now. I'm practically impressed. It transfers heat very well, gives adequate heat to do crisp stir fry vegetable dishes. The 14" diameter gives plenty of space to cook for 4 people. I especially like how easy it is to clean. I can scrub it as hard as I want to with soapy water, and don't worry about take the synthetic coat off or the wok will become rusty later on.

Cuisinox - Elite Sauce Pan

Cuisinox Elite 3 Quart Covered SaucepanI own a number of All Clad pieces, and was planning to buy this size saucepan from All Clad, but in reading reviews of tri-clad cookware, I came across Cuisinox Elite reviews that seemed interesting. I decided to buy this pot and see how it stacked up. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It appears to have the quality of All Clad at a significantly lower price. It is well finished, the lid has a nice fit, and the pot is substantial.I just finished my first sauce in it, and I am even more impressed. It has great heat distribution, meaning that I was able to prepare a very thick, creamy sauce with no sticking to sides or bottom. I strongly prefer stainless to non-stick, for a number of reasons, and this is quality stainless. I believe it is equal to All Clad in overall finish and cooking qualities--and for a lot less money. I love my All Clad, but I am planning to buy my next piece of cookware from Cuisinox.

KitchenAid 15295 Hard-Base Nonstick System Fry Pan, 11-Inch/28cm

KitchenAid 15295 Hard-Base Nonstick System Fry Pan, 11-Inch/28cmPretty good. The pan is exactly what I was looking for.Only problem I had with it was that it had one small nick in the teflon coating near the handle of the pan.It was on the rim of the pan and not in the cooking area. But it still shouldn't have shipped with something like that.Otherwise, very happy.

As a previous reviewer stated, the pan did come with a nick on the top edge, which I felt was a bit sharp, so I used my steel tool sharpening utensil to smooth it down. Much more comfortable now feeling I won't get nicked using it. Otherwise, it is a very nice pan, deeper and larger than it appears. Cooked with it, worked very well. Cleaned up easily. Brylanehome Toaster Oven, Griddle & Coffee Maker Combo

Brylanehome Toaster Oven, Griddle & Coffee Maker ComboBought this to use in our RV.We tried it out while dry camping with a Honda 3000 generator and I must say it worked like a charm. My hubby broke in the coffee pot and I did as the picture showed and made biscuits for the first time on an RV trip while frying some smoked sausage on the top skillet section. All three worked well at the same time. However, with the top and the bottom elements on, biscuits cooked kind of fast on the top. When I used the top and the bottom, only one of the elements up top were on but when only using the top, both elements are on.Also, as the picture shows, I was able to fit 6 regular sized Grands biscuits and cooked the other two while we ate the first six. :)I'll be trying some 6" Tony's pizzas in it soon.

Our RV has a convection microwave oven but I have yet to get the hang of the convection process but using this all in one made clean up after breakfast much faster so I can get back to enjoying RVing. Also, in the RV it is an extreme space-saver.Overall, I like it and it will get much use on upcoming RV trips.

Cuisinox Elite 11 Quart Covered Stock Pot

Cuisinox Elite 11 Quart Covered Stock PotI was looking for a heavy pot to cook my marinara sauce in one that wouldn't scorch so easily on the bottom. I make a huge pot of marinara sauce twice a month and I was tired of scorching the bottom and trying to salvage unburnt sauce into another pot, which really never works because the scorched taste is still there. Maybe I am not attentive enough, but this happens regularly with all my other pots, Calphalon, Cuisinart, Farberware, etc. I can't use my Lodge cast iron because it is not big enough for the amount of sauce I want to make. Since All-Clad is so expensive, I decided to try Cuisinox. OMG! I love it! It is heavy, heavy, heavy really substantial and my sauce doesn't burn. Mind you, you cannot walk away for 20 minutes while the sauce boils, but with a reasonable amount of attention, this pot gets the job done. I then purchased a Cuisinox Elite 7.8 Quart Covered Dutch Oven, and this weekend, I cooked beef burgundy in it to perfection! Cuisinox is a Canadian company and they explained that their Elite line is thick 3-ply stainless steel on the bottom AND the sides of each pot, whereas their Gourmet line is only 3-ply on the bottom. So, stick with the Elite line and you will a heavy stainless still pot that rivals any other top of the line cookware.
