Nordic Ware Pro Cast Funny Face Treat Pan

Nordic Ware Pro Cast Funny Face Treat PanI'm just loving this pan!I just recently discover whoopie pies and my children just totally falling in love with this pan too.I recommend greasing the pan first before pouring in the batter.Cookies will just slided off the pan.

The sturdiness of the pan was excellent and the whoppie pies did not stick as long as you kept the pan sprayed but the images of the word and funny face did not look anything like picture I saw when I ordered. We had fun making them regardless.

Deni Electric Skillets

Deni 8260 12-by-12-Inch Electric Nonstick SkilletDon't buy the Deni 8255 skillet. It's junk! The temperature control kicks-on low and continues until it burns the food.It doesn't have a good non-stick surface and the cast aluminum is thin.Get the Presto 06850 16-inch Electric Skillet instead.I did and rated it 5-stars.The Deni is NOT worth buying.

Doesn't heat up.If you pre-heat to 375 for frying and add the food, it just sits there getting barely warm.

Light weight "tinny" construction.

What a disappointment!

I'm giving it a bit higher rating than 1 because the teflon was very good.It worked great for a about a month, then the temperature started going haywire.I should have returned it, but my life was too crazy then.I figured that I learned my lesson and will check out reviews from now on.

I have no idea what kind of quality control Deni has. I don't even know why it is allowed to do dishonest business without consequence!

I bought a Deni hot plate and that did not heat up. I would set it on the highest setting for 25-30 minutes and it could still not cook a simple egg!

Well, I bought this electric skillet (the 12x12 inch one) and lo and behold! It succeeds at being lukewarm. The shoddiest temperature control are found on Deni products. They DO NOT HEAT! If you want to keep cooked food warm, sure, buy this product. But to actually cook anything, look elsewhere! At least Deni is consistent in its low quality products! I can't even return it because it was a gift!

Nostalgia Electrics EQM-200 8-Inch Electric Quesadilla Maker

Nostalgia Electrics EQM-200 8-Inch Electric Quesadilla MakerThis was the only model that did not have a customer review when I was looking to a Quesadilla maker. But it appeared to have all that I wanted for a good price, and am glad I got it.I does a good job and makes a nice Quesadella from the first one.Big enough for one or two if shared. My only problem is that I tend to put too much between the tortilla's and will just have to learn to ease off.

First one came, both lights came on. Unit stayed cold.

Did a return, the new one came next day, works fine.

It gets hot and heats up quickly.

I'm not a fan on the latch, worry about breaking it, same for the hinges. There's less space in the pockets than you would think. The grease catch is about useless if you even remotely over fill the quesadilla.

That said, it's $25 and the quesadillas tasted great.

Worth it imo. If you can shop around and actually inspect the unit, maybe go with a different model. They all look the same on here, can't imagine they're really any better quality.

Very happy with this item. It is smaller than I expected so you have to get the smaller sized tortillas. Product works just like it claims and the quesadillas have been great. Only negative is that it is a little difficult to clean. You have to wait until it cools before cleaning and getting dried cheese out of the crevices can be challenging.

This was a Chanukah gift for my kids (sometime i get just one gift that applies to everyone which is sometimes risky, but in this case paid off).Anyway we all love it.They can make their own lunches or weekend snacks.Heck, they even make snacks for each other and us it's like cooking. I use it to make dinner.Just throw in some cheese, chop up the leftover meat.Serve with veggie toppings, sour cream & salsa dinner!EASY.It cooks evenly, cleans up easy and love the creases it makes to slice. The "machine" even looks cute sitting on the counter. We use it so often it's up there all the time.I've given 2 as gifts.

Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel Skillets

Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel Nonstick 12-Inch Open Skillet, OrangeI love this little frypan. It is nonstick, heavy, and the silicon handle does not heat up.Eggs cook well in it, and cleanup is easy. You will need to use tools that are made for cleaning a teflon coating. I love look of the color orange on my stainless stove. I'm going to get the next bigger size, too.

I just got this pan and so far am very pleased with it!It was inexpensive, it heats well and evenly, plus I love the orange! The reasons I chose it are the price, the style, and most importantly in addition to those is that it is oven safe to 400 degrees.I believe that if you go any less expensive they are not oven safe.Great buy!!!

Bought this pan in August really loved it but suddenly the finish is peeling off its totally ruined. I took good care of it, didn't use any metal on it and cleaned it with the proper pot cleaner as well. I'm hoping they will honor their warranty.

I bought this because my cookware is stainless steel and I wanted a non-stick pan for eggs.I bought mine at a discount retailer for roughly the same price as is being offered on Amazon, which I think is an excellent value.I love this little thing.I usually like to cook my eggs over easy, and it's a simple process with this pan.I add a little oil to the pan (Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1-Liter Tins (Pack of 2) is my brand of choice).Once the eggs are set on the bottom, they flip easily.Any time I've broken a yolk it's been because of my spatula work. And I really don't even need a spatula to transfer them to the plate when they're finished they'll slide right out.

If there's one issue, it's that the oil can be a bit hard to completely wash out of the coating of the pan, leaving behind that greasy look and feel.Simple enough to solve:I leave mine to sit soaking with a drop of detergent throughout the day and when I come home in the evening, it cleans up perfectly.

Berndes Coquere Aluminum Induction 10-Piece Cookware Set

Berndes Coquere Aluminum Induction 10-Piece Cookware SetThis is quality cookware. The problem is the user does not follow the manufacturer's recommendation on its use.Purchased this cookware for induction cooking for my wife.Unfortunately, she used metal utensils to mix and stir the food in the cookware. The nonstick material has chipped off where the utensils having scratched the cookware. Also the glass lids for the pots and pans have screwed on caps that trap water when you wash the lids.I think these lids could stand some R&D/improvement.

When I bought my new induction cooktop, I knew that all my great Berndes SignoCast nonstick cookware would not work on it.Not to worry! The Berndes Coquere line is designed for use on induction.I ordered the 10-piece set. Now that I have been using it for about a month, I can say that I am very happy with its heft and its overall feel (the handles are different than the SignoCast)it is quite comparable to the SignoCast in that regard. I am especially pleased with the way it (and the induction cooktop) cooks. The large 11" saute pan is a really convenient size and shape. The only problem is that the saucepans and the stock pot (dutch oven) in the set are on the small side.Be sure you are aware of their capacities when you order.I also got a veggie wok (directly from Berndes as it was not available on Amazon) and it was just that a considerably smaller wok than the full size Swiss Diamond nonstick I had to abandon for the sake of induction. All in all the set was a great purchase for a terrific Amazon price. It is great to know that I didn't have to give up a product I had been so happy with for so many years.

I purchased this set for my new induction stove.

The pans do work well and the non-stick so far has held up.

But that's the extent of the good I can say. I ordered one set that had several defects, scratches due to improper factory packing and all 3 skillets had loose rivets on the handles allowing them to move/rattle. I tried repeatedly to contact Berndes customer service to see if there was an easy way to repair, but the NEVER responded. Neither emails to Germany nor messages and emails to the USA website were answered even once.

I attempted to register them as instructed in the package, but the website didn't allow me to complete the process, so they still are not covered.

Needless to say, I was forced to return them to Amazon and ordered another set. The second set had 1 skillet with a loose handle and minor scratches on the small skillet so I kept them as I have had trouble locating a good set of cookware that is induction compatible.

I wish I could recommend them as I do like cooking with them. I just hope I never need any warranty help. You are taking a gamble on receiving a complete set without defects.

The set is really nice if you have a non-induction cooktop, but I hate it for my indiction cooktop.

They put only a little bit of metal on the bottom so the induction burner stays on... Gives new definition to SLOW COOKING.Makes the induction cooktop much less efficient than my old electric cook top.

I will go back to my stainless steel set despite the lack of non-stick coating.

Basic Essentials 3-Piece Fry Pan Set

Basic Essentials 3-Piece Fry Pan SetI bought these pans on a whim. Amazon was offering a discount that can only be applied to kitchen products so I chose to use it on these. Final cost to me: 19.99.

I haven't had a good reason to use the smallest 6 inch pan yet because I find its smallness somewhat encumbering, but the 8and 10-inch pans are really working out quite well for me.

Cast iron retains and distributes heat really wellso cast iron cookware can be a better alternative to non-stick cookware, and this set was not a disappointment. The recommended heat setting is "medium", and you need to hand-wash and dry them right away to lessen the risk of rust.

I received this 3-piece cast iron pan set as a birthday gift recently, and I couldn't be happier. I use the smallest pan for scrambled eggs and they come out fluffy and exciting. The others are also great for sautéing vegetables such as zucchini, brussels sprouts, etc and perfect for steak. I cooked a strip cut to perfection with this set. It is easy to clean and not recommended to ever use soap. Simply pour a drop of oil and an ample pile of salt into the pan and wipe with a paper towel. The salt acts as a safe grit to get any gunk out of the pan and the oil dissolves the salt before any rough abrasion happens and also lubricates the pan. Wipe until no brown appears on the paper towel when swiped. Empty the salt and use a rag or towel to wipe oil lightly on the pan. This will keep the pan healthy for years and provide a slick coat. Great product.

I don't like the sizes of theses pans when they say that the smallest one is small they mean it you can only fit 1 egg in it it's not practicle.I just don't like the over all feel of these pans and I love castiron pans but theses seem a little to gritty for me. Not good quality

Takoyaki Pan w/ Handle 12 Molds #TBT1

Takoyaki Pan w/ Handle 12 Molds #TBT1I was really surprised at how heavy the pan was. I am a little worried about the wooden handle though. The handle screws into the pan, but to me it doesn't seem very sturdy. We'll see how it holds up after a few months.

As expected, it only came with the pan. There appeared to be a recipe on the back but it's all in Japanese which I don't read. I found my recipe online instead. The first few batches didn't turn out very well due to errors on my part, but soon they were looking similar to the ones I had in restaurants.

Overall it's a good product.

This pan does have a screw-on handle, but I had no problems with it loosening once it was tightened on (by hand). The pan itself is made from heavy cast iron, but with a smooth finish, so with the proper amount of oil the takoyaki won't stick. The only instructions are in Japanese, but a quick search on the internet will yield plenty of recipes and directions. So far we have made about three batches, and on average, only 1 in 12 balls didn't turn out... and this was our first time ever making takoyaki!

A good buy for 'chefs' like me who prefer not to deep fry and save energy not using the oven.Perfect size, not overwhelmingly heavy and is ready to use.I smeared oil to it, put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 400d and it was ready to use on my stove top.I also love the fact that the handle is made out of wood and not iron.

Frieling Frypan

Sitram 11-Inch Stainless Steel Non Stick Open FrypanThis pan is excellent.I use it primarily to cook eggs, pancakes, quesadillas, and anything else that might stick to regular pans.So far, nothing sticks to it!

One of the best features of this pan is the handle, which is the same round stay-cool handle found on other Sitram cookware. The handle is easier to hold, because it is larger than the ones you would find on Calphalon or All-Clad cookware, which I have also used.

One of the things that makes cleaing a breeze is the way the handle is connected to the pan.As with all Sitram cookware, the handle is not riveted to the pan. With Calphalon and All-Clad cookware, food can get stuck in between and around the rivets. This is helpful when cleaning, because there are no rivets.I'm not sure if Sitram's method of affixing the handle to the pan is as strong as the riveted method, but so far, I haven't had a problem.

The previous reviewer, Hal Lewis, makes a good point about the pan being "induction ready."I use a gas stove, so I haven't run into this issue. However, Sitram's website clearly states that this pan is not induction ready.

Lastly, I have to point out that this pan is not made in France like most of Sitram's other cookware. However, I have not had an issue with its build quality. The pan performs very well.I own a several pieces of Sitram's Cybernox line, which are all made in France, and this pan is very similar in its construction.

Over all, I highly recommend this product.

The Amazon description of this says it is suitable for "any cooking surface," without any restrictions, and the Sitram Web site specifically says "induction ready." So to be sure I e-mailed Sitram, and they assured me that it was indeed induction ready. Well, it is not. Aluminum and stainless steel, without the ferromagnetic material needed to work on an induction cooktop. Amazon did not explicitly misrepresent it, but Sitram did. If that doesn't matter to you, it looks like a fine pan. If it does matter, be warned not to believe what you read.

Buy Frieling Frypan Now

I was under the impression that Sitram welded their handles. This skillet has riveted handles which makes it hard to clean. Not to mention my whisk and spoons catch on the rivets when I scrape around the edge of the pan. I've never understood why anyone would want riveted handles. The welded handles on my existing cookware has lasted many years and are much easier to keep clean.

Evriholder Silicone Pot Handle Holder, Colors may vary

Evriholder Silicone Pot Handle Holder, Colors may varyThese arrived promptly. They make it easier to grip my cast iron pots and pans, (Lodge). They are a good reminder that the pan handle IS hot if I remove it from the stove, (or oven), and leave it on.These may be too long for most of my cast iron pots, but they don't affect the grip at all.I have problems with gripping and holding things that are heavy bad hands. And these help me maintain my grip.

The nice thing is that if the pot handle holder or the pan handle does get wet it will not scald my hand the way a combo cloth only, or a cloth and silicone pot holder does, plus it is easy to wipe dry on the outside.

Picking up a cast iron skillet, and trying to twist my wrist to pour out of it is slightly difficult with the pot handle holder on BUT it is MORE difficult using a regular pot holder, and this pot handle holder makes it easier in that I don't have to struggle with my grip plus trying to keep a pot holder wrapped around the handle. So at least half the battle is eliminated with this Pot Handle Holder.I can concentrate more on trying to maneuverer the pan and keeping a good grip on it rather than making sure a regular pot holder doesn't open up and burn me.I suspect this issue is due to my bad hands, and the fact my hands are rather small. For small hands, this Pot Handle Holder beats ANY regular pot holder by leaps and bounds.

I like how it snuggles right up against the pan enabling me to get a closer grip there for picking up the heavy pots and pans.I found out if I put the pot holder handle with the hole down, (it has a hole on the edge for hanging up on a hook, and also it is where the label is connected when it arrives), it snuggles very close to the pot, protecting my fingers from accidentally touching the side of the pan while gripping the handle.

I chose the color red to remind me the pan handles are hot, plus it makes it easy to find.

The inside of this item has ribs, which help grip the handle, (and peel garlic, see last paragraph below). If you leave the handle holder on the pot, yes it will become uncomfortably hot, the same if I put a pan in the oven with this holder on the handle.Luckily the grip is easy to slide on and off of the Lodge cast iron pan handles. It is also useful to hold the pan handle while stirring and frying. If they get too hot for comfort, I pull it off, and let it cool down 30 seconds or so when I pull them off the pan, they start cooling down immediately.Very nice.I like the ease with which I can slide the Pot Handle Holder on and off my Lodge cast iron pan handles due to the generous width of this pot handle holder.

Best of all, I love the price. And I love how it can fit all my other pots and pans' handles,(Kenmore line).

This particular pot handle holder also has another unique use I discovered.I can use it to peel garlic!Have you seen those garlic peelers that they sell that are rather expensive for just being a tube of silicon/plastic?You put in your garlic, then you roll it around on the counter top with the palm of your hand putting a slight pressure on the garlic inside as you roll a few back and forth rolls, and the garlic is peeled! The garlic skin is easy to remove out of the Pot Handle Holder because the holder is an even width from the opening all the way through to the end.Pretty nifty!I've been wanting to order one of those garlic, but now I don't need one. This pot handle holder works perfectly for peeling garlic.: )

I already own several Silicone based pot holders.None of them conduct heat as well as this one.In this case, as its stated goal is to not conduct heat, I would count this as a failure.

Its not without use, however you cannot leave the pot holder on the pan for any period exceeding a minute without it becoming excessively warm.

Not at all protective! It could burn you in just a few seconds! I used this Pot Handle Holder on an iron skillet that was only being heated to 350 degrees. I put the holder on, then immediately removed the skillet to place it on the stovetop not more than 10 feet away and it was already hot enough to feel very uncomfortable. My thumb was actually very pink from the excessive heat, but did not thankfully blister.

Doesn't fit any of my pot handles tight, but it works okay if you're careful. Also, if you try to use it on cast iron skillets, to gets too hot to pick up the pan. And I slipped it on the pan right before I wanted to move it, so it didn't have more than a minute to get that hot. So much for the high temp. it's supposed to be good up to.

This product is very big and awkward. It slips over handle but when you go to pick it up it allows the pan to slip and not turn it.It feels very insecure in my hand.I think it would work better for a cast iron pan or something with a big and thick handle.

All-Clad d5 Brushed Stainless Steel Fry Pan

All-Clad Brushed Stainless D5 8-Inch Fry PanGot this pan for Christmas and have been loving it ever since. It was my first stainless steel pan so I made sure I knew a few things before I used it.

Always pre-heat the pan before adding the oil. Then add the oil and let it come to temperature, then add food.

I've cooked scallops using oil (clarified butter is better in terms of carmelization, but I didn't have any at the time) and the first one I went to flip stuck, and then I realized that the pan is so good, that when the food is properly browned, it lifts off the pan and allows me to turn it without sticking. Turned 14 other scallops with no problems. This pan basically told me when the scallops were cooked perfectly.

I seared filets using oil before putting them in the oven, and once again, nothing stuck and was easy to clean. The next night I cooked Parmesan crusted chicken breasts using clarified butter, no sticking. Seared two chicken breasts in oil tonight, once again, no sticking.

I also fried two eggs using butter in the pan. The trick there is to use low heat (learned that from Fernand Point) and you should be ok. But honestly, I'd use a nonstick if it was available because it just makes life a little easier. Parts of the egg will slightly stick to the pan so you just need to move them every minute or so, but the whites can tear if you aren't careful and then you are left with a fried egg that has the whites separated from the yolk. I haven't tried oil so that may fix that problem, but eggs fried in oil is unappetizing to me. So if possible, just use a nonstick man. But, it is possible to fry eggs in an All Cladd stainless steel pan (I actually did them over easy) and clean up was, once again, no problem.

Basically, if you keep to a few rules and make sure the pan is at proper heat, you'll never have an issue with food sticking. Clean up has also been as easy as cleaning a nonstick pan (besides that 1 scallop that I messed up, that took a little scrubbing).

Last few things it is solidly built, heats evenly, and everything else is as advertised. The brushed stainless steel is great because it is more forgiving when you wash it. Stainless steel that isn't brushed will show every dried water mark, hairline scratch, and everything else. It was an aesthetic choice, but important to me nonetheless as the frying pan gets a lot of use. If you are back and forth between the d5 and the copper core, while never cooking with the copper core, from what I gathered in my research, copper has to have a minimum thickness to have any effect, and the thickness of the All Clad copper core is not enough to make a difference. But like I said, that is just what I've read, which for me, was enough to not ask for (xmas gift) the more expensive one.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions or concerns.

great construction, truly pro version, very nice rolled lip, heats evenly at low temps, I most definitely would buy again
