Vollrath EZ4010 Aluminum Wear-Ever Ever-Smooth Fry Pan with Cool Handle, CeramiGuard II Finish, 10-
Circulon 14-in. Nonstick Symmetry Stir Fry Pan, Chocolate
Handle feels solid, its metal with a rubber grip that stays cool.Non-stick surface has not scratched yet, in 3 months of usage.I find the same in most Circulon products, that is what lead me to this. The dark anodized outside also looks sharp.
Usage:
I use this to stir fry and steam.Wow, it is great!I use a wooden spatula, it has not scratched the surface, unlike this other non-stick pan that I have. The conductive metal also provides great flame control.Cleanup is very easy.
Cons:
No lid (this is the major reason for -1 star), and it's big, its not easily washed in a small sink.
Final comments:
I was tempted to buy an iron wok for the "wok hey", but putting oil in this thing and heating that up also seems to work well. Also, I don't have to season this thing like an iron wok, and it is a lot easier to handle.I pick it up with 1 hand and put the stir fry on a plate. It is also a lot easier for my girlfriend.I am tempted to buy a second for backup, I like it so much..Of course I did NOT stirfry a crab in this thing, would have ruined it.
I loved it for the first few months I was using it, and was using it everyday. But the coating starts to come off and have to shop for a new pan now

The material is very durable and nonstick is great, except that this particular wok feels so heavy, maybe because of the long handle. I prefer thesame size wok with the 2 shorter handles, which is also easier to clean too, because the short handles don't stick out of the sink!Read Best Reviews of Circulon 14-in. For three years I have used the Circulon elite hard-anodized 14-inch nonstick stir-fry pan as my main stove-top cooking pan.Not only is it a great high temperature stir fry pan, it also is perfect for omelettes, soups, stews, sautéing. Both small and large cooking tasks can be done in this single pan. Nothing sticks and mine shows no signs of wear after almost daily use for three years.I typically use a 800'F silicone spatula (Cuisinart) which effortlessly moves veggies around and lifts omelettes without hurting the pan surface. Ihave previously used both steel and nonstick woks and this is by far the best.It cleans up in a twinkling. I use the 14" glass cover that came with a stock pot and with a domed cover that came with one of my defunct woks. This is a great purchase price for the only indispensable pan in my collection.Want Circulon 14-in. Having been fortunate enough to have had two pieces Circulon cookware in the past, I was chomping at the bit to own a large wok with the same qualities.
Finally, I bought this wok and...wow!It's huge, heats evenly and exceeds my expectations! Cooking with this wok is a joy. It's large enough to stir fry copious amounts of meat and vegetables without losing anything over the side. I find my stove is left cleaner cooking with this wok than any other pan I own. And food gets cooked evenly no matter where it is in the cooking space. The sides get as hot as the bottom, exactly what a wok is supposed to do.
To get the best life from this wok DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER.I ruined my large Circulon skillet by tossing it in the dishwasher over and over and it eventually lost the coating and rusted. Clean this by hand ONLY and dry it off. Don't use any scouring pads or powders and oil it lightly once it's dry. It will last many years. My other Circulon piece is over 6 years old and it looks like new because I've refused to wash it any other way. Also, NEVER use any cooking sprays with Circulon. I'm sure that contributed to my other large pan's short life.
My only problem with this wok is storage, (did I say it's HUGE?) but that's my own fault for not having a gourmet kitchen.
Emeril by T-fal TG8000002 XL Griller with Two Independent Temperature Controls Removable Nonstick D
I got a great deal from Amazon and it was listed as used but one would never have known it.This item were received in record time. I like the price, the quality and the the way it grills with very little smoke, also it grills just like a regular outside gas grill and I will purchase from this seller again."This was given to a co-worker as a wedding gift from her Amazon wedding registry. The co-worker has told me often how much she loves the T-fal Griller. She said that she hsd used it 3 times in less than a week since receiving it.I used the grill the day I received it, in perfect condition and very well packed! The grill heats up very fast, and it grilled my food to perfection, including grill marks... Cleanup is a breeze, just wiped with a sponge.I highly recommend this product! Word of caution: Be careful moving the grill right after you turn it off...the outside (sides) gets VERY hot!
I bought another one for my son...he loves it too!
Bought this for my parents, they moved and was used to a Jenn-Air in their prior home. They said it works well, hardly any smoke, easy cleanup.
Ecolution Elements Eco-Friendly 8 Piece Cookware Sets
BARELY a 2 star review. Looks nice, non-stick coating is excellent, the issue is with the general construction. Sub-par rivets and handles are poorly designed and sure to fail during regular use. Our Ecolution 10" pan is only 3 months old and the handle is already starting to spin, and there is no way to tighten it. Fine for a cheap set to give to a student, or someone furnishing their first kitchen, but this is low end stuff hiding behind a fake eco-friendly name/label. It is NOT eco-friendly if you have to throw it away 6 months later.

Do not buy this product if you have a gas stove. St handle started smoldering & melting the first time I used it. There is no warning on the package whatsoever. highly Disappointed.Read Best Reviews of Ecolution Elements Eco-Friendly 8 Piece Cookware Sets Here
I brought these pots and pans because they are PFOA free. Since the non-stick coating seems very durable, I'm very happy with that. However, the outer green coating stains and scratches very easily (as another reviewer pointed out). It probably does not affect the functionality, but those scratches and stains are very noticeable and I find them very ugly. Since I'm happy with other Ecolution cookware, I would just avoid these green pots and pans for aesthetic reasons.****Update****
There is another probelm I would like to point out. The handle on the Ecolution frying pans gets loose very easily. I have to tighten the screw almost every other time I use the frying pans. It happens to both of the frying pans from the 8 piece set and also to another Ecolution frying pan I bought separately. So, I have to say it's a design flaw.

I was so excited to recieve these until I used them! These are nice starters only! They are too thin, and the bottom started to peel the 1st time I used them. They will have to do for now, but I hate that I will have to replace them soon! Good short term, not long term!Calphalon Simply Cast Enamel 10" Fry Pan - Blue

Lodge Logic L5WS3 Pre-Seasoned Wonder Skillet, 5-inch
This little skillet is the best investment I have made in years. It is just large enough for two people. Since my husband and I are retired it is the perfect skillet for corn bread for two or for a large "biscuit" that would be equal to about four regular sized biscuits. I have used cast iron skillets all my life and have many sizes but this one gets used more than any skillet in my kitchen. I would highly recommend this product.

This is my 2nd lodge logic product (first being a 12" skillet) and I love it. It just the right size for bread and eggs and forpan frying small quantities. The only minor hassle I see is during cleanup when food in the corners does not come off easily.Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press
This is a real low-tech old school way of cooking that proves over and over again why its still so popular.
I have one of these and may end up with another. After checking a previous review, someone obviously doesn't understand function as opposed to just looking good. The only thing he rated highly was a cookbook...
I only wish this came in a size that would properly fit a 12" frying pan for when I'm cooking breakfast for a crowd.
No complaints and I know how to clean cast iron.

When you grow up with flat bacon, nothing else is good enough. So I made the plunge and bought this press for the sole purpose of cooking flat bacon in my cast-iron cookware. That makes this an expensive uni-tasker for me (which, along with the screws, is why I only gave it 4 stars), but I still think it was a good purchase. The construction of the press seems high-quality. It is indeed heavy, but I have no concerns about the handle coming off or anything like that. You do need to assemble it, requiring a flathead screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or pliers, but it isn't difficult. The screwheads sit in an indentation on the bottom of the press and are exposed to the food/cooking surface. The hygiene implications of that might be a problem for some, but those people would probably not like cast-iron anyway. However, the screw indentations are deep enough so that the screws aren't capable of scratching the cooking surface. Cleanup means wiping with some warm water and using a stiff bristle brush if necessary. Dry off and coat with a thin layer of oil.
Use is quite simple. I can't imagine using the press on steaks or burgers since that would press all the juice (not necessarily fat) out of them and make them dry, but it's perfect for bacon. With extened use the wire handle will get warm, but never necessitated the use of mitts or gloves. One thing I noticed while using the press is that you will want to use a pan at least somewhat larger than the press. When I used the press with my cast-iron pan with a 7" bottom, the fat from the bacon had nowhere to go and would end up rising up and over the sides of the press, pooling on top of it.
Overall, it's a well constructed press with the only real downside being the exposed screws on the bottom. The handle stays cool and my bacon stays flat. A bit of a luxury, but worth it for me. Also, if you are going to use this for bacon, do yourself a favor and save the bacon grease to cook with or to season other cast iron vessels with later.

The press functions well enough, but as other reviews have mentioned the handle is shotty. It's held on with bolts which get gunked-up with grease and crud. I have to disassemble the handle (with tools) to clean the press thoroughly. The coiled handle doesn't stay cool enough to touch anyway, so why not use a one-piece design like the Lodge panini press? One good bonus this press offers is I can use it as a lid for the Lodge 6.5" skillet, which doesn't have an available lid.Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 11-Inch Square Griddle
So far, the non-stick finish is holding up real well (although we have only used it less than a month to be honest)..
What surprised me was how evenly it heats (figured the corners would be colder) and how light weight it is.
We have done the burgers and pancakes on it with out an issue, as well as toasted rolls, french toast, bacon, sautéed peppers and onions, fried eggs etc... and have not had a bit of problem so far.
We did learn a few years ago that non-stick surfaces last longer if you take the extra time to hand wash and dry them, and have done so with this pan too.So far, it still looks like the day Santa dropped it off.
I will say that my wife would like it a bit better if it had a cushioned grip, but so far, that isn't a deal breaker.
Hope this helps some...

T-fal Simply Delicioso Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Hard Enamel Caldero with Glass Lid Cookware
I am not sure if this all writing is understandable therefore the bottomline is:
This product is superb for frying, one potting, gratinating and baking and the 2nd generation teflon surface makes it much more durable than its predecessor.I bought this product because I liked the color and also loved the glass lid. This pan works so wonderfully, it's the right size for so many dishes! I love the fact that you can see what's cooking without removing the lid and they were very smart with the design putting a hole in there to release the steam. Very clever indeed! Would definitely recommend this to all my friends.

We had a T-fal fry pan with the 2 short handles that we used all the time. We liked that it was easier to store than a traditional long handled pan. After it finally wore out we tried to find another without any luck.We then came across this Caldero. While its not really a fry pan, it actually has worked out better as its more versatile. We are also going to be getting the larger version as well. This pan is perfect for a variety of things.I am surprised at how often I reach for it.The only negative, if you want to call it that, is that it's lighter and thinner than my other pans.Considering it's size, I really can't call it a real negative for me.Very pleased.Awesome! Love it! GREAT investment! T-Fal is by far the BEST cooking pots and pans that were ever made! I refuse to cook with anything else. Surface cleans effortlessly no matter what was in it or how long it sat!

Have used the grill many times and it works great.Very little smoke. The challenge is cleaning the unit without ruining the grill.Foods have a tendency to stick and even with a sponge and much elbow grease it is very difficult to keep perfectly clean.I just used a portable steamer to clean it and that did the trick.

I got this as a shower gift a few weeks ago.It works great! The heat is even, cleaning is easy, and no smoke. The package said using sauces could cause smoke, but we never had a problem. My only advice is don't cook meat on the bone on this grill. It took forever to cook a few chicken legs, and they were still raw in the center. If if had a lid to hold the heat in maybe it would have worked a little better.I'm going to stick to burgers, shrimp, veggies, and boneless chicken. Those all turn out great.Want Hamilton Beach 31605 HealthSmart Indoor Grill Discount?
Alright, for those that says clean up is a breeze, notice how most of those reviewers have a dishwasher. But for those folks without one, this item is by no means a "breeze" to clean. The item is simply too large to fit in a regular kitchen sink (or at least the one I have). So soaking it is out of the question. The nonstick coating does absolutely nothing. If you try to grill anything with a sauce or marinate, be prepared to spend hours trying to scrap off gunks congealed sauce residue. And because of the nonstick coating you cannot use a metal scrubber. And if you think about it, Teflon doesn't recommend the use of their pans over high heat, for the teflon coating would melt and wear out.So why would anyone have a teflon coated grill, where the process of grilling probably necessitates the highest temperature out of all cooking methods?
I've learned to work around with it.Such as covering it with a disposable aluminum pan while it preheats so it heats up faster. And placing foil in the drip tray so clean up is easier. But the size and grate-cleaning problem persist.

This particular KitchenAid skillet was purchased as a replacement for my KitchenAid Gourmet Reserve 10-1/2" non-stick skillet.Although the 10-1/2" skillet has not come to its life expectancy as yet, the KitchenAid Gourmet Aluminum Non-Stick 12-1/2" skillet is serving as a supplementary utensil in the kitchen. While the 12-1/2" skillet is advantageous because of the wide pan and its capacity, the disadvantage is that no glass cover that would fit the skillet snugly was available. This poses a grease-spatter hazard if cooking is done on over an open flame. The grease-spatter hazard may be reduced by employing a large wire mesh spatter shield over the skillet.(I believe amazon.com also sells these, or you may find one inexpensively at your local discount retailers).
Please note that the KitchenAid Gourmet Aluminum Non-Stick skillets now offered on amazon.com are not the Kitchen Gourmet Reserve skillets that were once offered. The KitchenAid Gourmet skillets have been redesigned to include rubber handle grip insulation, whereas the Gourmet Reserve only were solid metal handles. It may be possible to search on other internet websites for the Gourmet Reserve skillets, but the redesigned skillets are just as well-constructed, and are conservatively priced for your kitchen needs.
The KitchenAid Gourmet Aluminum Non-Stick 12-1/2" Skillet received 4 stars only because of the unavailability of the associated glass cover. Had a glass cover been available, this item would have received a rating of an outstanding 5 stars.

Lodge Elements SC90SET 8-Piece Cookware Set, Silver
Even as I was unpacking the box in which the set was shipped, I was impressed by the weight of the various pots. This gave me a hint of the quality construction of the set, an that impression was reinforced by a closer inspection of the three glass lids that are included. The lids are solidily constructed and each of them fits snugly into place, their weight ensuring a solid seal with the pot or pan they are designed to fit.
My wife and I first tried the larger of the sauce pans and the first thing we noticed was that the pan's weight seemed to be focused on its bottom. This means that stirring whatever is inside the sauce pans does not result in the pan spinning or turning on the stovetop's burner (a particular problem with the new "slick surfaced" electric stove tops). In preparation of this same meal, we used the deep skillet to cook several chicken breasts and were pleased to find that there are no "hot spots" on the skillet's base, meaning that all the pieces were cooked evenly and nothing was scorched or burned.
My wife, who is a bit of an expert on the handling and care of cast iron skillets, used the one from this set to make one of her traditional cornbreads and was pleased at the way it cooked again, there did not appear to be any hot spots in the skillet that would cause something to cook unevenly. The cornbread was as near perfectly done as any she has ever produced, in fact.
Clean-up of the pieces was what we expected; nothing remarkable in either direction.
Main plusses noted by my wife, especially, include: the steadying second handle on the deep skillet, the extra weight centered on the sauce pan bottoms, the see through pot lids, the graduated measurement markings on the insides of the pots, and the overall quality construction of the set. This is our first exposure to Lodge cookware, but we are suitably impressed, and would most certainly purchase this brand in the future.I could not WAIT for this set to arrive! I love cast iron, and I have been researching every cookware set I come across to try to make a decission. Part of me didn't like the prospect of comparing a new cast iron to my generational one that is well loved and well aged. This newcomer exceeded expectations. It came from the manufacturer pre-seasoned, and had instructions to wash and oil it before first use, and to re-oil it after every wash. I followed directions (Im good at that) :) and cooked my first meal in my brand new cast iron. My food came out perfectly done, evenly cooked, and didn't stick at all (I expected the worst)!
Department stores charge too much for too little, and my own indecission didn't help the issue. When I found a set that had a cast iron skillet IN it, I knew I had found the right one!
I did contact Lodge to ask some questions first. All of their cast iron is produced here in the USA, however, the stainless steel is from China. It is also not 18/10, I think they told me it was 18/8? I cannot find the email. That delayed my decission a bit...I feel like in this economy, we should be supporting our own country. However, because the cast iron IS US made which did in the end have enough pull (paired with the other reviews, and a drop in list price on Amazon) to sway my decission.
The set arrived very promptly. I have already begun using it, and I am very pleased with how it performs so far. The pans and lids all fit together well, and unlike many other sets, all of the pans are a convenient, and useable every day sizes. The largest pot lid fits the cast iron skillet well. All of the pieces have a good solid feel to them, and a comforting weight. Total win.

()These pots and pans are very sturdy and well crafted. They heat up quickly (water boiled in something like five minutes! My old pot I had to wait close to twenty!). The cast iron skillet comes preseasoned, which is nice. Yes, it does have 8 pieces, technically, but 3 of those are lids. The sizes are pretty well spaced, though I tend to like smaller pots for things like sauces. I also cook for one quite often, and using big pots is just not convenient.
The only con is that the handles are also metal and tend to get a little too warm.

They are heavy and seem ok BUT there was really nothing special about them.Got them in a Gold sale, with extra off, so I think they were worth the sale price.T-fal Signature Nonstick Expert Interior Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Dishwasher Safe 12.5-Inch Fry
2. Old model had a metal disc in the middle, to help diffuse the heat more evenly. Problem was that after a while, due to heat expansion/contraction, the center disc went up, and the botttom was looking like a little hill. All the oil was flowing out, downslope, towards the perimeter, so one needed to put a lot of oil to cover the bottom. The new model does not have this disc, and it does not have the problem either.
3. Old model was a bit bigger, and heavier, and this is noticeable, but not too bad.
4. The new model has a center red spot that is supposed to brighten up once the oil is hot enough. IT NEVER CHANGES COLOR, NOT EVEN AT THE END OF THE COOKING SESSION. FEATURE DOES NOT WORK. This is the only reason why I docked product 1 star, but it is not a biggie for me.I was looking for a perfect saute pan and this one is excellent!! Note-follow the directions-only use with low and medium heat--high heat will damage finish quickly ( which is probably how I ruined other ones)
Why is it that all of your pans, no matter when you bought them, seem to all die at once?Leaving you, of course, only with the small size 8 and 10-inch pans in which to cook large meals for hungry boys?
That being the case, I set out to find a replacement for my much beloved set of Tfal frying pans.I have Kitchenaid as well but the sides of them are so fragile and easily dented, that it's akin to cooking with aluminum foil. This pan, however, is just outstanding. There's a disk in the center that tells you when the pan is perfectly heated for cooking.Pretty cool feature, particularly if you're attempting to teach those hungry boys how to cook something for themselves.I have no problem whatsoever fitting whatever dish I like into this pan, the sides are somewhat shallow, so I can't always fix one of those "all in the pan" meals, but that's what chicken fryers are for, right?
Anyway, this guy is just awesome for everyday use. The rubber handle makes gripping very easy and quite frankly, if it's not purple in my house, then it has to be red or navy blue. So, the color on this pan is just awesome!
Great, great pan, have been using TFal for 25 years.Highly, highly recommend!I really love this fry pan. Everything is first class. The last one I had lasted about 5 years so I bought this one. No complaints. The old one is in with my camp gear and works just great. I'll buy another one in a couple years.
Works great!Love the ease of handling and the way it cooks so well.Cleans up with great ease! Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
