I love this pan! Did a lot of research to replace my 5 year old Calphalon 12" "non-stick" pan. The Berndes brand in general was very highly recommended, and I like that the Pearl finish does not contain some of the usual harmful materials in non-stick surfaces. I can't believe how great this pan is. Eggs don't stick; nothing sticks -which means clean-up takes 2 seconds.
My older PTFE (Teflon) coated pan was wearing out, as the coating gets damaged over time, so I wanted a non-stick replacement pan.
My new Berndes ceramic coated pan is amazing! It's more non-stick than PTFE coated pans and more durable. I'm very happy with it. And as an extra bonus, it does all this without using PTFE.

My son gave me both the 12" and the 8" Emeril frying pans.I use the small one for crepes.They have been perfect pans, and they are in constant use.I do not put them in the dishwasher, but nothing sticks to them, and it's not necessary.I use wooden or plastic utensils with them, but there is not a single scratch in either pan, after 2 or 3 years.The finish is very nice.They wash easily with just a sponge or a dish rag.The weight is sturdy, but not too heavy.They are really the two nicest pans I have had and do have.I just ordered 2 more this morning, since they are on sale, and I want my kids to have them.I don't know why people seem to have problems with them.They're great!

If you want a non-stick fry pan that lasts, from a company that stands behind their LIFETIME non-stick guarantee, you don't want this pan or anything from Emeril. I had the Emeril 12" nonstick fry pan for about 2 years. I followed ALL of the care instructions to the letter, but it became a gummy mess that everything stuck to. I returned it for a new pan under their lifetime guarantee, and was surprised when they returned my old pan suggesting that I hadn't followed their care instructions. I even called a manager to no avail. This pan was babied. If you get anything non-stick, get a Calphalon. I also had an 8-year old Calphalon non-stick fry pan that I returned at the same time as the Emeril. Calphalon sent me a new pan with a sample of their suggested cleaning product. The Calphalon lasted four times as long as the Emeril, and Calphalon stood behind their lifetime warranty. I threw the Emeril in the trash and went out and bought another Calphalon.

I really couldn't believe I was going to get an authentic Emerilware from All-Clad pan, figured there had to be a catch somewhere, I own All-Clad Stainless steel, a set my husband got for me one year and love it but still needed a nonstick pan. As you may know, All-clad is very pricey just for one item. Low and behold I found this, of course on Amazon.com. I bought two, just in case one "broke down" after use, at least I would have a new one to fall back on until I found something I liked. Afer all, I couldn't beat the price. Well low and behold I now own two fabulous pcs. of non-stick cookware. Highly recomend, you won't be dissapointed. And remember, as some of my friends and family seem to forget, DO NOT PUT NONSTICK IN THE DISHWASHER!! Wash by hand and they will look like new forever...

I'm not big on buying things because they have celebrities' names on them, but this pan came into my house through no fault of my own. My boyfriend bought it because he wanted an inexpensive pan with a smooth non-stick surface for making eggs. We had basically no expectations and were prepared to throw it away and buy another one in 6 months.Boy, was I surprised!
I have come to love this pan so much it has come between me and my beloved 8-inch cast iron skillet, which USED to be the pan I used for everything. While the cast iron skillet browns a little better, you just can't beat the ease of use of the Emeril skillet. I use it so often I got tired of it always being dirty, and I actually went out and deliberately bought a second one.It's my go-to pan not just for eggs, but for a single serving of just about anything.
In my cooking lifetime, I've become resigned to spending hours trying to scrub leftover cooking oil off non-stick pans, only to have a permanent layer gradually build up, which impairs the non-stick quality over time. No matter how I scrub with soap and hot water, when I rinse, there's still a visible oil sheen. With this Emeril pan, that struggle is over.It releases both food and grease like nobody's business, and you almost don't need soap to get itclean! Almost.
I've also been highly impressed by the durability. I've been using pan #1 for at least a year now, I think, and despite near-constant use, it doesn't have a single scratch on it, nor any discoloration on the interior (there is some on the bottom but who cares).It continues to release food and grease as beautifully as the day itcame into my house.
The only downside I've observed is that the handle is not as heat-resistant as I'd like. It's usually not a problem, but occasionally I have to hand off a hot skillet to my cooking partner, and I found out the hard way that the lower part of the handle actually gets too hot to easily touch. You have to keep your hand out at the end. Or use a hot mitt, of course. Considering I also cook with cast iron, which does not come with fancy features like heat-resistant handles, I'm not fazed by this, but I was still surprised.
I've been very surprised by the bad reviews for this line which say the durability is terrible or even only so-so, as that has not been my experience at all. So far it has proven to be the most durable of any non-stick pan I've ever bought. Can you honestly say you've ever had a non-stick pan last a solid year, with frequent use and washing, with absolutely NO degradation in performance? I couldn't until now. I note that another review stated the quality of the sets is noticeably less than the individual pans, and I wonder if that's the reason for the bad reviews.

There's not much to the Lid Maid just a long plastic box with a divider running down the middle, which slides on a track.For us, however, it was a godsend.I installed the lid organizer alongside a Rubbermaid slide-out plastic bin.Miraculously, I managed to squeeze all but the largest lids into the organizer.Now, instead of digging through a pile of containers looking for the right size and a lid to match, then frantically shoving everything back in and trying to close the door before the avalanche began, we just pull out the container bin, select one, and then pull out the Lid Maid to find its lid.Truly a beautiful thing.The construction isn't super-sturdy, but it does the job.Installation was simple just a couple of screws.We've been using it for most of a year and haven't had any trouble with the sliding mechanism, nor does it show signs of wear.
I returned this lid rack after discovering that it was too deep for my old school custom cabinets. Seemed like it would work good though for normal depth cabinets. Make sure you verify the depth before you buy!

This looks simple & convenient but it was a nightmare to install & it still doesn't work properly.The instructions are vague & installing the unit in a bottom cupboard took almost an hour (installing in an upper cabinet makes the contents hard to see & retrieve).For us, the unit's capacity (4 lids) and the shipping cost (about 50% of the price) made this purchase a waste of time & money.Want Lid Maid Pot/Pan Lid Organizer Discount?
Before I bought this product, I measured my cabinet interior.The measurements indicated that the product would fit.It was easy to install and is just as pictured in my base cabinet so I can organize my pot lids and have space for my pots.

After ardently searching for a replacement electric skillet (used to have Farberware),I had tried the Cucino Pro.I had found that the thermostat was not precise.Having sent that one back, I tried Precise Heat.Their skillet was beautiful but was not dishwasher safe (as I was used to) even though the ads had stated that it was.I returned that product.FINALLY, we stumbled on this Delfino/Toastess Electric skillet.It is the same size and shape as my old Farberware AND comes with the glass lid.The thermostat is precise and I am loving it.
We had so much trouble locating a replacement for my tried and true Farberware, and this oneeven has the glass lid (something that I had wanted) that I plan to order a second skillet.

Pan heats evenly and no non stick coating to flake off. This is by far the best electric skillet I have ever owned (and I've had a few). I have had this pan for a few months now and it is well worth the money!*Update**
I've used this everyday for almost a year now and I still think it is amazing. I've also put the feet and the lid through the dishwasher but never the skillet.

I can honestly say this is a first for me. I have ordered dozens of products if not hundreds over the years from Amazon. I ordered this product due to the excellent reviews here on Amazon. When it arrived, I cooked with it...a little disappointed at how the food stuck but I have been using a non-stick pan and figured I would get used to the stainless steel. It heated up evenly and cooked well. However whilst I was cleaning it afterwards I noticed a rough area on the black plastic housing of the slot that the thermostat plugs into. Upon closer inspection, it is obvious that it had cracked and someone had attempted to glue it back together. This was sold as new and I am amazed that the company would attempt something so low. It can't have been a customer who returned it because it looked brand new in the packaging and had not been used. Anyway, Amazon were professional as usual and immediately offered me a refund or replacement. On this occasion I chose a refund because I do not have a level of confidence with this company after trying this on.
