Very happy with this purchase!This is the best square griddle pan that I've owned.Cooks evenly, washes up beautifully in the dishwasher, and has a very nice weight to it.Heavy enough to keep it flat on the stove, but not too heavy like a cast iron.Does french toast and grilled sandwiches perfectly, no need to keep doing quarter and half turns to make sure your bread is browning evenly, flip it once and perfect.I would highly recommend this product!

Very nice pan, but the handle is so heavy that it causes the pan to tilt on the stove making cooking uneven.

I am very pleased with the quality (heft), value and performance of this Cuisinart griddle.I use no cooking spray and eggs, for example, remain totally stick free.The 11 inch size is adequate for a 2 3 person breakfast, but larger families might want a larger surface.Cuisinart, in their product literature stands by the dishwasher safe claim, however they hedge this by noting that dishwasher soaps with lemon should be avoided.This doesn't seem very practical as typically these dishwasher soaps are scented, and I think most folks perfer this.The issue is not enough to knock off a "star" on rating as the griddle never has food stuck to it, and it is thus easy to just quickly wipe down and store away.

Presto 09983 Replacement Charcoal Filters for Cool Touch Deep Fryer - Pk/3

When I ordered the Presto Professional Cool Daddy electric deep fryer, this is the filter that is recommended for this fryer.When you get them, THEY ARE SHAPED WRONG!The Presto deep fryer I bought uses a rectangle filter with rounded corners. The filters they sent are crescent shaped...like a half moon.The filters come from a different seller than the fryer (kind of stupid). I contacted the private seller and they said these are the filters that go to my model# deep fryer. I sent them back and was refunded. Now I am not sure where to get the right ones. I may have to get in touch with Presto, the maker of the deep fryer. If you order this deep fryer, DO NOT order the filters they offer separately.

THEY DO NOT FIT AND YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

This P's me off.I ordered a presto fry daddy through Amazon and the recommended filters were these.I wrapped up everything for a gift and when I opened these, they are for an earlier version of the fryer and do not fit.

Be carefulAmazon will not help you on the return saying that it is the sellers problem.

Nordic Ware Zoo Friends Pancake Pan

What can I say, my grandson loves these pancakes!They are hard to flip though, so I use 2 pans at a time.Once they are ready to flip over from the animal shape, I flip them onto a flat square griddle to cook the other side.Much easier, and after all you really only need to see one side of the pancake to see the animal face.

My daughter and I love to make fun shaped pancakes and this makes it so easy.A small spatula would be a good addition to this item.

I used this pan for the first time this morning and it made really cute little pancakes. Even my two year-old liked them! My advice for flipping them is to use two wooden skewers. Use one to get under and lift up the bottom of the pancake and the other to stabilize the pancake as you flip it. Worked great for me!

This pan is so fun for kids. We had a monkey-themed birthday party for my son,and the banana pancakes were so cute with a monkey face on them. You will become a very accurate pancake flipper with multiple uses of this pan. It cleans easily, but be sure to use a non-stick spray.I highly recommend it!

Our 3 youngest grandchildren loved eating pancakes make on this pan.They made the animal sounds and asked for them by animal name.Too cute.The pancakes are a little tricky to turn over but worth the effort.I make these by lightly spraying the pan, putting it on the stove top burner and letting it heat up a little before putting the batter in the circles.It does not take much batter.We have made the pancakes ahead of time and simple put a batch in a zip lock bag and froze them.

GE WB31K10217 Griddle Assembly for Range

We purchased this griddle as a replacement for our worn out, original, 7 year old GE stove top. The original griddle was peeling up and flaking off, sometimes into our food. We purchased this one from Amazon for about 75% of the price that GE wanted.

When we received this replacement, we noticed a difference in color and only a slight difference in texture. Some of that had to do with the previous griddle's usage. The replacement's color is more gray than black, which is no big deal for us, because it's not so gray that it looks out of place against the other black stove top pieces.

Overall, this is a high quality griddle and has been a great replacement. We've had it for several months now and use it about 3 times a week. We have no complaints. Everything cooks great on it and we haven't noticed any flaws at all.

Bought a new GE stove and loved this availability as it reduces the additional equipment needed, fits perfect in the center and easy to clean up, if you get astove that can handle this add on, do it!

I have had this thing on my wishlist forever.It was only $20, but for some reason, I never pulled the trigger on getting it.My birthday rolled around, and being that you don't get presents at my age, I thought I'd finally get this for myself.I know, that's lame, right?"Yay it's my birthday, now I can finally get that PAN COVER I've always wanted!".But well, that's how it went down.I'm sure there's some psychological reasoning behind that I bet people buy more crap on or near their birthdays.Anyhow this shipped to me fairly quickly.The pan cover was wrapped up super-tight in bubble wrap; nothing was going to damage this en-route.I have a 12" Calphalon pan with no top which I've ALWAYS needed.I have the 10" pan too, and it has it's cover, but I always end up using the bigger one ALL the time and always wish I had the darn cover.I was using tinfoil whenever a recipe called for simmer something with the cover on.Lame.Well, this thing fit my pan just perfectly and it matches my 10" pan with cover so now I'm all set.I mean, it's a glass cover for a pan what exactly more is there to say other than "it fits"???I hope you have enjoyed reading this and have a nice day!

After reading some of these reviews I was worried it wouldn't fit my Calphalon contemporary non-stick 12" frypan (code 1392 etched on the pan's bottom). However it fits fine, good seal, nice to have glass. What's not to like?

I ordered both this and the 10" lid. Both of them fit my "Contemporary" non-stick set. I noticed complaints from other reviewers. If you have the "Unison" or other style non-stick these may not fit. If you go to the Calphalon website you will see that the "Unison" pan lids are sold in a two-piece set, but you have to buy the individual lids for the "Contemporary" style. Know your pan styles before you buy, because these lids fit my pans perfectly.

Cuisinox Elite 11 Quart Covered Stock Pot

I was looking for a heavy pot to cook my marinara sauce in one that wouldn't scorch so easily on the bottom. I make a huge pot of marinara sauce twice a month and I was tired of scorching the bottom and trying to salvage unburnt sauce into another pot, which really never works because the scorched taste is still there. Maybe I am not attentive enough, but this happens regularly with all my other pots, Calphalon, Cuisinart, Farberware, etc. I can't use my Lodge cast iron because it is not big enough for the amount of sauce I want to make. Since All-Clad is so expensive, I decided to try Cuisinox. OMG! I love it! It is heavy, heavy, heavy really substantial and my sauce doesn't burn. Mind you, you cannot walk away for 20 minutes while the sauce boils, but with a reasonable amount of attention, this pot gets the job done. I then purchased a Cuisinox Elite 7.8 Quart Covered Dutch Oven, and this weekend, I cooked beef burgundy in it to perfection! Cuisinox is a Canadian company and they explained that their Elite line is thick 3-ply stainless steel on the bottom AND the sides of each pot, whereas their Gourmet line is only 3-ply on the bottom. So, stick with the Elite line and you will a heavy stainless still pot that rivals any other top of the line cookware.

Bialetti Aeternum 2-Quart Covered Sauce Pan

The Bialetti Aeternum series is amazing! The coating is ceramic, which is non-stick and rinses out perfectly clean. The pan is great for browning things; it also seems to distribute the heat evenly, resulting in perfectly cooked food every time. If only they made a 3-quart sauce pan!

It could actually be an elegant piece of engineering, but in person it looks like a pair of chinese-knockoff-$5-sunglasses.

Cons:

1. The finish does wear off on the inside,and chips on the edges.

2. It got slightly mishapen during shipping.

3. The metallic finish looks cheap. It is cheap, plastic coated metallic paint. It ruins what would basically be an elegant design. Really not classy, gross in fact. To be clear, I keep this hidden from view with guests around.

4. The handle is made of cheap bakelite plastic. If you heat it up, it will begin to smoke it will smell like, burnt plastic and death.

Pro

1. Stuff really does not stick to the sides. And I guess it is not toxic.

2. having a white backdrop to your cooking is interesting.

3. there are no Rivets connecting the handle to the inside of the cooking.

3. There are few other options on the market.

Bialetti, please put a bit more effort into using higher quality materials for the handle, edges and finishes.

I have been searching for and researching ceramic cookware for months. I came across these and, even though there are vey few reviews, I decided to give them a try. I got the 2qt saucepan, the 10 1/4" frying pan and the 8" frying pan. So far they are all wonderful! The heat is very evenly distributed. I have used the saucepan to brown ground turkey & onions, for spaghetti sauce, heating up vegetables, and other things, and so far everything cleans up easily. I am very happy with the Bialetti Aeturnum pans! I just wish they had a few more sizes!

Pot works well, but lots of small chips are missing on the inside texture after 1 month.The places it chips is usually right over a metal imperfection.Like an air pocket in the metal.

I know it isn't chipping as I wash it because I do it by hand only so that means some sort of ceramic chips are making it into my food..

Kinda scary...

Other than that, it's been OK the last 2 months since I bought it..But I am really turned off about ceramic chips in my kids meals

When I first bought this in Oct 2011 I was so thrilled.The ceramic coating is way easy to clean.I love the red, which spices up my kitchen.

Unfortunately, the coating has started to chip badly around the top, and even on the bottom now I've discovered a chip within the past week.

I don't abuse my pans.I use nylon or wood cooking utensils.I wash by hand.

It's really too bad that it's started to chip like this.I was going to buy a cast iron pan (there are two brands here on Amazon) but was not pleased with the reviews.I use this pan almost every day for soup at lunchtime and veggies at dinner.It has to be sturdy but light enough for me to handle.

Well, the time limit has expired for return, so today I bought a nice stainless steel pan to replace this pan.Wish it could have lasted longer.:(

Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 12-Inch Covered Fry Pan with Helper Handle

My mother has owned this pan ever since I can remember, and she used it three or four times each week for at least 10 years, from the time I was aware of such things until the time I moved out. She still uses it 15 years later. I truly believe she has never replaced it in all that time. I have since purchased a set for myself including the frying pan, and it is a very durable product. Best and most even heating of any pans I've owned. It's got a very comfortable weight balance and I don't have to worry about the handle getting hot. I like the classic version without the teflon because you never have to worry about scraping the coating off.

I love Farberware Classic and I want to complete my set and never have to worry about buying new pans again.

Farberware classic is great -an inexpensive yet equally functional alternative to the very expensive pots & pans.Note: recently Farberware reduced its quality, in that older Farberware pots & pans had their thick aluminum base completely encased within a stainless steel shell.The newer pots & pans have the aluminum base attached to the bottom, but not encased within a stainless steel bottom.So, their quality is less than it was; most people who "grew up with Farberware" may not realize this.Farberware used to hold the patent on the technique of having the aluminum base CURVE up the side of the pan -they no longer do this, and are the same as many other manufacturers.Also note: if you are buying a 12" pan, this is a HUGE pan, since it has a squareish cross-section.I found it to be so absolutely huge -you could fry a dozen onions in this monster -that I simply never use it.The 10" and 8" sizes may be what you're looking for!

How many products do you know when you buy it that it will last 30 or 40 years? This is one of them. My mom has had hers for 35 years, I've had mine for 5. It's simply the best pan out there. It cooks evenly, it goes in the dishwasher, the handles stay cool, and you don't have to use plastic spatulas. The only problem that somebody might have is that it is not nonstick. For that reason my wife usually uses a Calphalon nonstick professional pan, even though it can't be cleaned in the dishwasher and you have to treat it carefully. So if you must have nonstick, buy something else. But if you want a large, beatiful, indestructible pan that will last longer than you will, buy this pan!

This is a great pan for preparing meals. I generally have trouble with a pan being able to hold all of the ingredients, but this one is definitely up to the task. Although it's not stick-proof, most of my cooking involves sauces or olive oil (usually both), resulting in relatively easy cleanup. Keep in mind that it's very heavy (12 inces of stainless steel), but it doesn't warp, tip over, or get knocked off the counter.
