Cuisinox Electra Induction 11 Inch Non-stick Crepe panI like this pan in that it is very easy to make crapes because no sides.Just trying to move the batter around by rotating the pan does not work well.You have to usethe wood T-Shaped Crape Spreader too.It works on an induction element so that is why I purchased it.What I don't like about it is that it is very slippery on the element and hard to hold and turn the crape at the same time.It's going to take practice I can see.It's a nice size.I also use it for heating up tortillas or making melted cheese sandwiches.It works well as a grill.

The most annoying thing about this pan is that the diameter of the surface that contacts the stove is only about 9" so that the outer 1" ring of the cooking surface does not get as hot as the center of the pan. Is that what a "Crepe Pan" is supposed to do? If so I got the wrong pan. I bought it as my one teflon coated pan to use on my induction cook top so I could make eggs and a pancakes thinking it would act like a griddle.

The teflon scratched almost the first day and I don't remember any reason why it should have, although it hasn't scratched any more over the next ten or so times I've used it.

This was a gift for my daughter-in-law, who loves it!She uses it almost every day, and after 3 months, neither shows any wear--the problem with earlier coated(shudder)Teflon cookware. If they begin to scratch and lose coating, I will change our review. So far, these are performing beautifully.

Received this duo of nonstick skillets about 2 weeks ago and use them at every opportunity.They live up my expectations 100% and they are worth every cent. I was super excited to get these pans for my wedding. The joy was soon out lived by paint chipping off and looking terrible. The non stick is ok but i expected a higher quality coming from Rachael Ray. I loved that they were orange and wanted to have them hanging in my kitchen when not in use. Now im just embarassed to say that i have them.

Would not want anyone to buy this!!!!

I have the whole set of Rachel Ray pots and pans. They cook evenly and are very easy to clean. Only drawbacks are you can't put them in the dishwasher and the insulated handles still can get pretty warm on the bigger pots. For the price these pots and pans are a great bargain! I would definitley recommend them to anyone who would like a nice basic pots and pans set without spending a fortune.

Bialetti 10-Inch Aeternum Easy Saute Pan, BlueI've been using this regularly for about a month now and I have to say that it's pretty fantastic.It's great looking (I got the blue) and nothing sticks to it.I still give it a quick spritz of non-stick spray but that's more habit than necessity. It really is a great value and a well made, durable product.

I thought this pan would be perfect for eggs and breakfast stuff. Seemed great for the first couple of months, but then slowly I started noticing little pinhole pits in the ceramic coating. I have been nothing but extremely and overly "delicate" with this. Always washed separately to ensure nothing banged into the ceramic coating. I use nothing but bamboo and silicone utensils to cook so there should be no reason for this pitting. I think I'll stick to classic indestructible stainless steel and cast iron. I'm about done with all these "cookware fads" of disposable cookware.

I had non stick pans that were losing their coating which made me nervous.Were we eating that coating?I did a lot of research and this pan was very highly recommended.It exceeded my expectations.It cooks great and cleans up like a dream.I love it.

I have had this pan for well over one year.

**When I need to sear, I use a stainless or cast iron pan.**

It STAYS on my stovetop, almost all of the time (cleaned).

I use it everyday.

I use no more than Medium Heat ever.

I do not overheat while preheating.

I use a VERY light coating of oil, or residual oil from previous cooking.

I wipe it clean with a paper towel when possible (usually).

If needed, I wipe it with a sponge under tap water.

If xtra crusty, I soak before sponging (rare!)

I NEVER use any sort of scrubbing surface.

I only occasionally use soap.

With the above care, this go-to pan looks and cooks as if brand-new.

Lodge Signature SS12GR Grill Pan, Black, 12-inchI have been drooling over the Lodge Signature series since they were first introduced. I have a cupboard full of Lodge (very well used) and couldn't justify the price until my son direly needed a grill pan. Sooo I gave him my Lodge Logic grill pan (a fine pan in it's own right) and treated myself to this beauty.

I am astounded at the beauty, heft and quality of this pan. The pictures don't do it justice. Superbly crafted in the USA (HOORAY!!!!!), pre-seasoned, with gorgeous, well balanced stainless handles and the date 1896 stamped into the helper handle. The Lodge insignia in stainless is just below the main handle.

Couldn't wait to try it so off to the store for a treat fresh cut 1 1/2" thick prime filets. Rinsed this black beauty in hot water, dried it and right on the stove. Fired it up HOT, sprayed it with canola oil and put those bad boy filets, rolled in crushed pepper, in the pan. Meanwhile, I had a batch of Alton Brown's Bakers going in the oven, a Caesar salad chilling, a demi-glace made and gorgonzola at the ready and my Lodge Fajita pans heating in a 350 degree oven. 5 minutes and a flip, 3 more minutes, drizzle with demi-glace and crumbled gorgonazola and under a lid for about 45 seconds and then on to the hot fajita pans along with the bakers.

HEAVEN!!!! Those filets were better than any I've ever been served in restaurants melt in your mouth tender, juicy, seared to perfection. Serving on the hot fajita pans kept them hot until the very last bite.

The quality of this cast iron pan is just amazing perfect heat distribution and the stay cool stainless handle is a real bonus. (Note: the helper handle does get hot because of it's length) Cleanup was a breeze after dinner I poured hot water in the pan, heated it and then swirled a nylon brush around and through the grooves. Clean as a whistle. Rinsed it, dried it, put it back on the stove for a minute to get rid of any moisture and then wiped it down with a very thin coat of food grade beeswax and mineral oil made for chopping blocks (from Wooden Wonderson eBay). This product helps keep your cast iron seasoned without the rancid smell of oil.

After this experience, I will be buying the other Lodge Signature pans. There are pans and then there are PANS. This falls into the latter category. What a pleasure to use such a beautiful piece that is also exceptionally well crafted, balanced and designed. I haven't had the heart to put it away in a cupboard it's too gorgeous to hide and I'll be using it often.

Hats off to Lodge for an excellent product and applause to Amazon for selling it with the free shipping. This pan will last more than a lifetime. Worth it's weight in gold and now that I've used it, worth every single penny in price. I hope Lodge will add more pans to the Signature line!

Lodge is one of the few cookware products still made in the U.S.Their cookware is widely recommended by experts.A standard skillet like this will run in the mid to high $30's, and I've seen plenty of seconds for $15+ at Marshall's, etc.But those handles will get hot and need a holder.This product goes one big one better, since it has the great looking (and design award winning) stainless steel stay-cool handle (note that the long handle will stay cool about 1 1/2"+ away from the skillet, but the short loop will still need a holder).Pre-seasoning helps a lot.I am dissappointed, though, that Amazon is selling this for $107 delivered when there are several other online sources selling it for $10+ or so less, delivered (Chef's Catalog, a vendor here, sells it for $99 with free delivery).

This Lodge grill pan is great.It comes pre-seasoned and is very heavy.You will find yourself using both handles to pick it up.It makes good steaks.DO NOT use soap or abrasives when washing this pan it will ruin the seasoning.I got a Lodge Set of 2 Durable Polycarbonate Pan Scrapers,Red and Black and just wash it in hot water.I also bought the Lodge 12 Inch Tempered Glass Lid and it fits just fine.

I am not going to go into detail of all the pros and cons of this pan. I think they are well listed by the other reviewers however, if you are looking for this pan and wondering why the price has jumped drastically, it is because Lodge has temporarily discontinued the "L" Series (enameled cast iron) and the "Signature" Series (cast iron with stainless accents). You will not find these again till they re-introduce them with new look and design tentatively late 2013. So if you love the signature series buy them while you can or wait till they come back. I personally dont recommend the "L" series over the "Color" series which is not being discontinued but if you really wanted an "L" series get it while you can.

Excellent product. I use it for steaks and chops. Get the pan really hot so the meat get a good char and finish it in the oven. Easy to clean with just hot water if you do it before it cools down completely. Heavy so it requires to hands but it is worth it.

Easy for a lazy college student like me to clean up after when I finally get up the nerve to cook non canned foods. Very affordable, easy to use, and easy to clean.

It's a very cheap piece of cookware, and it is kind of non-stick.I used it one time with a bamboo steamer, meaning that I had to place water in the bottom to boil, and afterwards I noticed that the bottom of the pan was a bit rusted.The metal screw on the lid also rusted.

I figured it would be fine if I just used it to steam things then, and the second time I steamed something the entire bottom of the pan rusted, and my food and bamboo steamer came out smelling very funny.

If you are very careful with it, or don't cook much at all, it might be worth it, but otherwise I would invest in something a little less flimsy.

I am so dissapointed with this piece. If you cook meat, it is very easily get stick. I think the stick layer is too thin so that it does not work very well.

The very first time I tried to use it, the non-stick material melted. Yes. I mean MELTED. It was just lucky I noticed before I ate anything or I'd be at the hospital having my stomach pumped. Don't watse your money. Look elsewhere.

Unlike others, I found the nonstick coating to be effective at keeping things from sticking. However, it got peeled off in spots on the very first use, and that is with using only a wooden spatula to cook and a soft sponge to clean. Also the center of the wok is flat and very small, and the side slope up at a high angle from the center, so really food only gets cooked in the 5"-diameter center area. It is not really a hemisphere like traditional woks are, which acts to spread out the heat in a gradient from the center and allows for easier stirring as you fry. (It's called stir-fry for a reason).

I've bought a lot of the cheaper ones and they fall apart, or rust.I haven't used this one much, but the feet are a great idea and I love the large size. No plastic here to melt, break, or fall apart.Could be used in the oven.

This pan works very well. I'd hate to pay more than this (and you certainly can when you are looking for induction compatible cookware) for a non-stick. No matter how well made, the non-stick will wear off in a few years.

The pan seemed well-made.It comes with elaborate instructions, e.g., "don't cook on higher than medium" and "don't use non-stick sprays," which we arefollowing (to the extent we can remember them all), but still certain foods stick, like scrambled eggs -the main thing most people buy a pan like this to cook, I'm guessing.We're still working on how to use this best, but do like that it is supposedly better for our family.The stuck on eggs come off ok if you are gentle about it.But people expecting a perfect non-stick experience may be disappointed.

Updating this, this pan should only be purchased by people who don't cook eggs for breakfast, and who like to spend a lot of time cleaning and trying to safely scrape pans with soft implements. I was given a circulon pan by a sympathetic family member who didn't want to see me hit somebody with this pan in a fit of rage.The circulon pan, also with care instructions, works beautifully.

This is a great pan. My friend bought me this set awhile back and it has been perfect. My son recently bought his first house so I went searching online to find the same set years later. I found it only from one vendor on Amazon, so I snatched it quickly! This pan didn't come with the set so I purchased it separately because I knew it would come in handy. Make sure to buy the 8inch pan as well, that is the one we use the most for eggs, grilled cheese, pancakes, etc.

The pan worked good for a year, then it turned into a dud.

I use this for eggs 4-5 times a week.Initially it performed as described.The eggs slowly started to stick.I smoked some oil in the pan once, that pretty much killed the nonstick.It never seen to work the same when I used the dishwasher on it.The non-stick just doesn't like the heat.

I'd advise staying away.I won't be buying another.

Update: The pan is covered by a lifetime warranty.I got mine replaced, but don't expect it to last any longer than the first one.Info:

I purchased this because of the high rating Consumer Reports gave it.What a disappointment!Even scrambled eggs stick and brown on bottom too quickly.I followed the instructions that were enclosed which obviously did not help.I definitely would not recommend this and found it was a waste of my money.I am disappointed that Consumer Reports gave it the rating that they did.

Swiss Diamond Nonstick 5.8-Quart Cast-Aluminum Covered Deep Sauté PanOver the years we have gone through several nonstick pans, which seem to wear out quickly and not be able to withstand much heat at all. We very much like the Swiss Diamond Saute Pan, which is nonstick at any setting of the stove we use with it, even high heat. The relatively high sides and 12" diameter make it big enough to cook a large amount at one time, good for leftovers. The glass lid is also very good, with a setting in the knob which allows us to vary the amount of steam escaping. The handle is quite fine and does not get hot in use, something we were initially concerned with for a metal handle.



This pan seems to be as indestructible as a non-stick pan can be. This is my second Swiss Diamond pan, and so far I am impressed. I have only had the other pan for about 6 months and so far so good. Finding non-stick pans that hold up to both high heat and to abrasion has been a hard task. So far I like the Swiss Diamond pans and as long as they continue to hold up I will slowly replace the rest of my pans with them.

I have several other pieces of Swiss Diamond cookware, recently adding this one.I love the pan, but I hate the metal handle on this pan.It is similar in shape to the black handles, but not quite.It is slippery to hold, so your grip is not as firm as with the black handle.This is of concern because this pan is heavy empty and MUCH heavier when full.The handle is too long (longer than the black handles) and it doesn't match the collar on the pan (which looks strange), nor my other Swiss Diamond pans, as this is the ONLY one with a different handle.I wanted this pan for the size, so I guess I will keep it, but I'd like to see the black handle on it, not the metal.

Pedrini 6-Inch Non Stick Aluminum Fry Egg Pan, RedI bought a Pedrini frying pan, and after just 3 weeks the non-stick coating on the inside of the pan started to peel off. This while only using a wooden spoon with it. Cheap China crap. Don't buy. "Made In China" label conveniently hidden under a tag on the bottom of the pan that can't be seen unless you rip it off.

This pan its a great size for making eggs for one.I love omelets and this pan makes it easy.The problem

I have is the smell.I have used this pan at least 10 times.Washed it both by hand and in the dishwasher.

It has a terrible smell when I cook.I cant figure out why or when its coming from.the food does not smell

but the kitchen is bad.It does seem to be getting better.
