This was an inexpensive wok to begin with, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that after about 10 uses the finish is wearing off.I use plastic utensils maybe wooden ones would preserve the finish longer.The 12" diameter is fine, but it needs to be a couple inches deeper.
i love this thing, Its just what i needed for my kitchen. I love makinf fried rice now. If i had a chinese chef i would have him teach me everything he knows just so i could use this more.
