For 5 bucks what a steal... I love it when people talk down on cast iron "IT STICKS" ! nope its YOU. SEASON YOUR PAN WITH BACON GREASE THEN THROW IT IN THE OVEN 350 FOR 30 MINS. THEN COOK MORE BACON IN IT !!!! YUP YUP . If your food sticks yourtemp is to low when you throw food in it .2nd you need more oil.not a five star due to black coating chip off at the handle .not a big deal for 5 bucks !i made german pancake had even browning not burning the pancake slide right out.

came with rough finish on cooking side. had to sand it down so food would not stick. after curing it is ok

I have to say, I did not expect the high quality on such a low priced item. It was so low priced, I ordered 2 (the first was a gift.) This is a heavy, well balanced, high quality cast iron skillet. The order arrived via standard delivery in a much shorter time than I expected. My recipient will be thrilled at christmas, and mine has already been used. I will look for Tiger Chef's products again!
