Love my Oster Electric Skillet.It does everything it says it does and more.I made Beef Stew the first time I used it. just set the temp and let it rip!. did not have to stand over and watch. I highly recommend it.

At first I was unhappy with it.I was not using the lid when cooking with it.After reading comments from other users of this product, I tried it again, using the lid when cooking with it.The difference was like "night and day."It works great, I am very happy with it.I would recommend this to anyone, just make sure you use the lid when cooking with it.It often times, is larger than what I need, so I just ordered another one, a smaller one.I stayed with same company, same type.I will have two of them, one for cooking small quantities, the other when I want to cook large quantities.

I am very pleased to have ordered this item.It is a welcome addition to my kitchen appliances.This item is rated 5 stars because for me it is more than I expected.It heats up very quickly, cooks wonderfully, large enough to cook more than one item at a time in the shortest amount of cooking time.If you have to lower the cooking temperature, it lowers fantastically. IT'S GREAT.

This skillet has a fabulous nonstick finish and the red color is great. However, I am now having to shop for a replacement skillet due to the fact that the heating element randomly shuts off during cooking. It is very inconsistent, and food will go from sizzling to cool in a matter of minutes. This problem began within 2 months of purchase.
