This wok is one of the greatest pans i have ever bought.I have owned 3 other woks(or wok like pans). This one has the best action to it.i gave 9 out of 10 because on occasion i do lose a vegi while flipping it into the air.The smoothness of the pan makes cleaning so easy. The only issue i found so far, after about a year of use, is that the handle at the base is cracking from the heat.I plan to simply buy a new handle which is only about 10 bucks, the pan itself still looks new though. The handle grip is perfect though.Overall I am very happy with this product.
Ease to Clean : 10 out of 10
Ease to Use: 9 out of 10
wok itself: 10 out of 10
wok Handle: 7 out of 10for over 40 years I prepare oriental food. This meansWOK. I had woks, cannot count how many.Of course the chinese woks are excellent if you take good care of them. Season them etc. In the last years I used a cast iron wok.
The food turned out greatbut it was so heavy. When I saw the Berndes Fry Pan I thought it might make a great wok, but I was very sceptical. So I sent the company Berndes an email inquiring about the material they use. I was so worried that the nonstick surface would peal.I immediately received a very profession and friendly answer. They assured me I can use very high heat, They did not recommend to use it as a deep fryer. Now I have the pan for a couple of weeks. I can cook all my asian meals in it, it is absolutely non stick, has a flat botton, important for electric stove, is very light weight and easy to clean. I am so happy I bought it and will buy more products from this company. It's a sturdy but not overly heavy pan. It is a bit deeper than most pan so oil doesn't fly out everywhere. I used it for 4 years, daily, and finally had to give it away when I move. Now looking for the same again, the best pan I have ever owned, period!
