Precise Heat Large Steam Control Skillet

This product is an excellent choice for steaming large fish filets and anything else one might have in mind. If there is any "down side" to this steamer it is the size which could be a storage issue if kitchen storage space is limited.

The quality of the steamer is excellent with an exterior mirror like finish which cleans up with ease and does not leave water spots.

The gauge of steel used is sturdy yet not heavy.The bottom is thick unlike less expensive steamers.I have made pasta and soups without the steamer tray with excellent results.The handles do not heat up and may not be used in the oven.The top plastic knob on the lid has a simple to use steam release valve which works very well should you wish to control the amount of steam being used.

Make sure when using this steamer you have set aside a 'landing zone' on the kitchen counter to set the top.Please remember, this steamer is 14 inches in diameter not counting those friendly helper handles.
