Sizzle-Q SQ180 Universal Griddle for BBQ Grills, Stainless
easy to clean
very sturdy
doesn't slide on the grill
drip tray is useful for diverting sauces and juices
verticle sides keep food and sauces from falling into the grill
Even though it would be nice if there were handles that would make it easier to transport, I would highly recommend this product.

This griddle came exactly as advertised. Heats up super fast on grill. I have even set it on top of my turkey fryer with success.I have cooked everything from tater tots to fish, steak, burgers, eggs, veggies.I have not had any problems with sticking. I usually toss on some oil or butter. Puts a great sear crust on burgers and steaks. While griddle is hot hit it with some water and scrape off food into drip trough in front. I usually put some wet paper towel in trough as well to help absorb grease. You do need to hit it with a grill stone every now and then if you dont like the darkening of surface ( I dont mind it, a seasoned griddle requires less oil and cooks better IMO ).I DEF reconmmend this for those who are sick and tired of flare ups!Read Best Reviews of Sizzle-Q SQ180 Universal Griddle for BBQ Grills, Stainless Here
this thing is Awesome. If you like grilled foods ie. diner type burgers ,breakfast, pancakes etc.,this is for you.I use it for everything but burgers are its' specialty.
I use it outside only due to the splatter but it heats fast and cooks fast too.
One thing, keep it clean and it will give you many years...

I love this griddle. When I read all the reviews on how hard it was to clean I almost did not buy it but did so I could try it myself and I am glad I did. After my husband cooked on the griddle and it was stuck with burnt sauce I took out my Mr Clean white bar and every thing came off right away. I clean everything with the Mr Clean white bars that you buy anywhere so I figured I would try it on the griddle and it works perfect. NO MESS...this griddle cooks food better than anything we have cooked on...love it...Stansport Cast Iron 6 Quart Chicken Fryer
This product is advertised as being a 6 quart fryer but it only holds 3 quarts. Totally false labeling/advertising. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known it only held 3 qts. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!I took a chance on this, but as the other reviewer noted, this is a 3 quart fryer, not 6 quart.Aside from the size, the pan and lid I received were terrible. Both were badly cast (lid edge uneven, metal thicker in some spots than others), there was a gouge in the inside bottom of the pot and a divot in the lid, plus cardboard and gunge stuck to the outside of the lid and pan.Worst of all, was the exceedingly poor quality of the interior finish and the "pre-seasoning".As far as I can tell, this pot was coated in tallow or some other sort of wax, to give the illusion of a smoother interior finish and was NOT properly pre-seasoned OR finished inside I couldn't even begin to remove the wax (I tried) and there is no way I would want to ingest it.And despite the weird coating, there was still some rust on the inside of the pot.Additionally there were tons of little metal particles inside the pan.I tried wiping them out but the interior of the pan seems to be deeply coated with them. There is just no way that this could possibly be safe to cook in.This pan was made in China, clearly with little to no quality control.I also suspect the metal used is some sort of weird alloy and not proper cast iron (or the worst quality cast iron ever) just didn't look right and weight didn't seem right and seemed brittle.I had originally rejected buying a Lodge chicken fryer because I thought the interior finish on it was too rough, but the Lodge was a thousand times better than this piece of garbage.Returned.

Received the skillet. A little surprised that they recommended veg. oil to temper as I always used lard, but I did it their way. It turned out wonderfully. The temper was excellent, the size was excellent and the chicken turned out perfectly, as did the fries, beans, donuts and corn bread subsequently made in it. Just like the old pots we used to get & have, and I expect to be able to give this to my daughter as Mom gave hers. Highest recommend.Read Best Reviews of Stansport Cast Iron 6 Quart Chicken Fryer Here
I bought two of these to use as smoke generators in large smokers.Works well for the purpose to hold wood chunks over the burner.
Very heavy pans that might be too heavy for regular use on a stove, especially with the lid on when loaded with chicken. Not seasoned (bare cast iron), so will need seasoning before use.Nice size for frying lid fits my lodge pan .Cast iron is the way to go would buy again very pleased
World Cuisine Black Steel Frying Pans
I bought these in different sizes for my vacation home. I have the Mauviel and DeBuyer french ones at home. I can't find the french ones in the smaller sizes anywhere anymore. The french ones have thicker gauge steel and the rivets for the handles aren't sticking out as much. I have those for over ten years and don't remember anymore how expensive those were, but they were expensive. These are somewhat less expensive though not inexpensive either. Since I have gas at home and electric at my cottage, cooking is different just because of that and I can't really compare them. All in all I am happy with this purchase, these aren't bad pans. I gave them 3 stars because the french ones are probably a star up at 4 and due to the high price I wouldn't want to give them 5 either. At the end this is just a piece of plain steel. In that regards, the review complaining about rust, well, this is a steel plan, you need to keep it oiled, no automatic dishwasher, actually you probably don't want to wash them with soap even by hand, the soap removes the oil film on the surface. just rinse them out and wipe them clean and dry and if you do soap it because it is really messy, you have to dry it up on the heated stove. If you do that they will develop that none stick surface seasoning and last forever my french ones have done so and these have started already to do so too.

I purchased both an 8" and 10" black steel pan but they sent me a heavy duty carbon steel pan for the 8" pan, which I have no problem with. The bigger the pan, the heavier it gets and more difficult to toss food but if you are a man it shouldn't be a problem. I used it for quick, high heat stir-fry, pan fry and searing meat and it worked well.
If you have never use or season carbon steel pan before make sure you educate yourself first. I learned the hard way and had to scour, scour and scour to remove the bad seasoning and redo the seasoning. The idea of seasoning is to add layer/s of carbon onto the surface of the pan to protect it from rust and achieve that nonstick characteristic. With good professional cooking skills and knowledge, even without the nonstick seasoning on you can still cook up a variety of dishes with 'sticky' ingredients such as eggs, fish, meat, potatoes and etc.
The only setback is that it takes daily maintenance with daily use at the beginning. Make sure the pan is cleaned correctly with hot water, nonabrasive material and NO DISH DETERGENT. Try not to cook anything acidic such a tomatoes, citrus fruits juice or vinegar or you will have to do the seasoning over again. That is exactly what I mean when I mention think twice before you commit. It takes discipline to care for your pan. My wife complained that I cared for the pan more than her. LOL!
I like the design and look of french style pans and it lasts a long time. Its a good investment if you are willing to commit to maintaining the condition of the pan.

Decent quality carbon steel fry pans--what restaurants use. A little bit thin (1.5ml ?), but they heat up fast and then cool quickly when removed from the heat--BIG pluses in the restaurant world. Thin steel fry pans like this often warp, also common in restaurant kitchens, so be aware of that. They season well and work just fine. If you want something thicker and more upscale for the home kitchen, consider deBuyer's Mineral pans...

I did not expect much from the pan when purchased but it was not expensive and I wanted to give it a try. I did not want to use the regular non-stick cookware anymore. It takes a little skill to learn how to use it but it does what it says season it well and after each cleaning and it will give you non-stick results. Must dry it after washing because it does rust.
Especially good for eggs! Just wipe after use and ready to go again. I use butter to cook my eggs but I am sure PAM will work just as well.
I gave it only 4 stars because it tends to lean a little toward the heavier handle.

6 Mini Doughnut Maker
This machine makes baking so fast and simple. Easy to bake without heating up the entire house and the clean up is even easier! I would suggest investing in a piping tip. I just used a ziploc bag and then cut a hole but I think having a piping tip would make it cleaner. The machine does exactly what it says, 3-5 minutes and the little delicious goodness is done. This device is fantastic. Where else can I make a tasty and eye-catching treat to share with friends and family in 5 minutes or less? And minimal cleanup!!I did not encounter any problem with the bottoms being dark and the tops light--this can be solved by: 1) making sure enough batter is in each mold; and 2) just before light comes on to signal "ready," open lid and quickly flip doughnuts w/ a toothpick or wood skewer and bake another minute. Mine have come out perfectly each time. I'm not crazy about the recipes that came with the Babycakes Donut Maker--found better ones online with more flavor. BTW, I have bought 3 more as gifts...

Gourmet Chef Stainless Steel Fry Pans with Lid
I think I am going to order a couple more for Thanks Giving, two for myself, one for mom, and one for grandma. They'd love it.
I recently broke the glass lid on a still perfectly good 11 inch frying pan. When I went to the local stores here, I found I couldn't locate a lid without a pan.And as it turns out, you can't find all that many pans that come with lids to begin with. For some reason a lot of frying pans are sold as is, without an cover.Which to me is like selling someone a car without any doors on it.But sometimes you seem to run into that catch 22 situation with certain items. When I came here to Amazon, I not only couldn't find an 11 inch glass lid, but the ones I did find that were a little bigger or smaller were easily $20 or more.Moving up to a new pan with lid easily doubled that amount. When I came across this stainless steel set, I realized that this just may be the best bargain around for a new lid, with a bonus pan along with it.As for the pan itself, it doesn't disappoint. Its a good solid stainless steel with a nice handle, and a perfectly fitting quality lid. It's not the best lid or pan one could own, but certainly a bargain for the price for both.Although I agree with some of the other reviewers here that state that they received a tapered edged pan rather than the one picture, ( I did as well ), it worked put perfectly for me since my other pan is a straight edged one.The lid fits them both just right, and I have a new pan to go with the old one. This pan with lid is not only a quality set for the price, but also ships for free when bundled at the time of this writing.Whether you are in the market for a new lid at this size, or a decent quality set at a great price, I recommend this Gourmet Chef model.Believe me when I tell you they are hard to find even just for one piece alone at this price...

A perfectly good steel pan at the price except the handle broke while cooking. Amazon replaced it but then sent conflicting messages. The first said throw the old one out, your replacement is free. OK, done. Then I started getting messages to return the old one or I would be charged for two pans. My emails to Amazon were not answered. Finally I found a number for a real human who apparently saw the contradictory emails and let me off the hook. A lot of hassle from Amazon for nothing.

Heavy Large Cast Iron Reversible Stovetop Griddle
Since it lacks that grease channel that most other griddles have, you gain that in usable cooking surface. You don't need a lot of grease to keep foods from sticking to cast iron, particularly the griddle side. Also, other griddles have a slight slope to them for that grease to drain toward the grease well . . . which means, lopsided pancakes.
The grill side is also more evenly spaced than other griddles and makes for great panini sandwiches.
The preseasoning was acceptable, but all cast iron gets better with age and more seasoning. All in all, a great griddle/grill and great price. I use it almost daily.Only regrets are that it's not a little bigger to fit better over electric burners and that it's not an American made product.
Quality of product is very poor.Hoping that after seasoning and using over time I will have a decent griddle. This is the only griddle that actually fits on my gas stove. The size is perfect.
Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 14-inch Carbon Steel Wok with Bamboo Handles
I looked at woks at stores and found that most of them were poorly made.At one box store there was one for about $20.It looked okay, but upon inspection, the metal was thin and the handles were not made well.
I also went to a cooking store only to find poor quality too.The wok I looked at was about $39.Very thin material.
I will agree with one cooking expert who said not to buy an expensive wok.You can spend up to $100 on one, but you don't need one that expensive. In fact, a good carbon steel wok with decent thickness should cost you about $20 to $30.I got mine for a little over $22.
This wok is about the thickest one you can buy on the market. 1.8mm.I think Helen Chen sells another one that is 2mm thick too. The thickness of this one is just perfect.Compared to others I looked at, this one doesn't flex when you pick it up.
As far as seasoning the wok. Use a gas stove. An electric stove doesn't get hot enough.I initially used my electric stove, but was not satisfied with the glaze, so I got my white gas Coleman camping stove out.It worked just perfect! The electric stove works fine for cooking though.
If you have an electric stove, like I do, and need to season your wok, go to a friend's home that has a gas stove, or use a camping stove like I did.Open all the windows, it does get quite smokey and the smoke will set off the smoke alarm.
In conclusion, I recommend this wok.If you like stir fry like I do, you will be very satisfied with your purchase.
Thanks for reading my review.I bought this wok based on the good reviews and attractive design. I've had it for 6 months now and the bamboo helper handle has dried out and fallen apart in pieces literally. Lesson learned I would recommend buying the plastic handle woks instead of these glued bamboo handles especially if you use high heat for stir frying.
It's not worth the shipping for warranty and have it rejected to say that it's been abused due to using high heat, which is how you are suppose to cook with a wok anyway. Additionally, I don't want to bother going through trouble of re-seasoning a new wok again.
The exposed helper handle is actually composed of two L-shaped metal pieces with a gap in-between them instead of one solid U-shaped handle. so it loosely rotates a little and is rendered useless without the bamboo wrapped around it bad design I'd say. For now, I've made a fix by wrapping a makeshift pipe around those two metal pieces to serve as a handle.
I would never buy wooden handle cookware, especially glued bamboo types, again.

I purchased a wok for my sister for Christmass. I purchased a non-stick coated wok. After receiving the wok my sister went on the net to see reviews of several woks. She decided not to keep the wok I bought because of cancer reports due to TEFLON coatings. After reviewing many woks on AMAZON, I decided on the wok by Helen Chen. After receiving it both of us were very satisfied with the quality of the product. Being the first wok we ever seasoned, we got it wright on the second try. It works great on a flat top electric stove.

Was a little bit worried about the fact that this wok needed to be seasoned, but it was easy and now works great. All the other pans have pretty much stayed in the cupboard, and this one stays on the burner. This is the cheapest pan that I own, and my favorite. Don't need to worry about scratching it, don't need to worry about denting it. After seasoning it is slicker than my teflon pan. Great value.
Want Helen Chen's Asian Kitchen 14-inch Carbon Steel Wok with Bamboo Handles Discount?
I am an Asian housewife and I do my share of stir fry cooking several times a week. I have several carbon steel woks already but I was looking for a less heavy one, so I bought the Helen Chen's wok.It is lighter, but everything else about this wok has been a disappointment.Despite a careful seasoning process I did before I used this wok for real cooking, the wok turned brown and black in its first mission, and it rusts so easily, I have to rush into cleaning it, drying it, and hanging it right after the food is out of this wok. Carbon steel woks do rust, but shouldn't be in such a lightening speed, my other woks made in Japan or Taiwan are so much better. What makes it worse is, even if I clean and dry the wok in time, the next time before I cook with it,I'll be sure to find new rust, so I have to clean it again before using it.If this is not bad enough, there is further news. The helper handler broke into three pieces within 2 weeks. Because it was broken, I got to look inside how it was built, and that just tells me why this wok has so many problems --because it was made cheaply.Underneath the bamboo handler, there is supposed to be an iron piece that really hold the wok, guess what, that piece of iron is not really in one piece ! I saw two fractured iron stick there, they are not even connected to each other !So I was actually using the bamboo to hold the wok, yet the bamboo is made of four pieces that were glued together. No wonder it didn't last forever.
It was such a disappointment, if I could have given it a zero star, I would. This wok is certainly not up to the duty of high temperature stir fry dishes. The price is low, but its performance is much lower. Not worth the money.
Emeril Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pans
All Clad, the parent company of the Emeril line, confirmed that the bonus sets (like 8 and 12 inch pans--ASIN B00284B9QK, model E920S264) are of lesser quality with standard handles.Promotional offers are decidedly not of the same quality as the regular line.
Another promotional offer of theirs is the 10-piece set (ASIN B00284B9KQ, model E920SA64).All Clad confirmed that the quality of this set is inferior to the hollow-core handles offered on the more expensive individual pans sold.
Since all items have the same title and product description, there isn't a way for Amazon.com to see the difference.
Buyer beware; when you purchase a set or pair at a seeming bargain price, it's because you're buying inferior quality. If you seek the hollow core handles good for gripping, spend the extra on the individual pot or pan.Leave the sets alone.
My son gave me both the 12" and the 8" Emeril frying pans.I use the small one for crepes. They have been perfect pans, and they are in constant use.I do not put them in the dishwasher, but nothing sticks to them, and it's not necessary.I use wooden or plastic utensils with them, but there is not a single scratch in either pan, after 2 or 3 years. The finish is very nice. They wash easily with just a sponge or a dish rag.The weight is sturdy, but not too heavy. They are really the two nicest pans I have had and do have.I just ordered 2 more this morning, since they are on sale, and I want my kids to have them.I don't know why people seem to have problems with them. They're great!

Emeril Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch and 12-Inch Fry Pan Set
If you want a non-stick fry pan that lasts, from a company that stands behind their LIFETIME non-stick guarantee, you don't want this pan or anything from Emeril. I had the Emeril 12" nonstick fry pan for about 2 years. I followed ALL of the care instructions to the letter, but it became a gummy mess that everything stuck to. I returned it for a new pan under their lifetime guarantee, and was surprised when they returned my old pan suggesting that I hadn't followed their care instructions. I even called a manager to no avail. This pan was babied. If you get anything non-stick, get a Calphalon. I also had an 8-year old Calphalon non-stick fry pan that I returned at the same time as the Emeril. Calphalon sent me a new pan with a sample of their suggested cleaning product. The Calphalon lasted four times as long as the Emeril, and Calphalon stood behind their lifetime warranty. I threw the Emeril in the trash and went out and bought another Calphalon.

I'm not big on buying things because they have celebrities' names on them, but this pan came into my house through no fault of my own. My boyfriend bought it because he wanted an inexpensive pan with a smooth non-stick surface for making eggs. We had basically no expectations and were prepared to throw it away and buy another one in 6 months.Boy, was I surprised!
I have come to love this pan so much it has come between me and my beloved 8-inch cast iron skillet, which USED to be the pan I used for everything. While the cast iron skillet browns a little better, you just can't beat the ease of use of the Emeril skillet. I use it so often I got tired of it always being dirty, and I actually went out and deliberately bought a second one. It's my go-to pan not just for eggs, but for a single serving of just about anything.
In my cooking lifetime, I've become resigned to spending hours trying to scrub leftover cooking oil off non-stick pans, only to have a permanent layer gradually build up, which impairs the non-stick quality over time. No matter how I scrub with soap and hot water, when I rinse, there's still a visible oil sheen. With this Emeril pan, that struggle is over.It releases both food and grease like nobody's business, and you almost don't need soap to get itclean! Almost.
I've also been highly impressed by the durability. I've been using pan #1 for at least a year now, I think, and despite near-constant use, it doesn't have a single scratch on it, nor any discoloration on the interior (there is some on the bottom but who cares). It continues to release food and grease as beautifully as the day itcame into my house.
The only downside I've observed is that the handle is not as heat-resistant as I'd like. It's usually not a problem, but occasionally I have to hand off a hot skillet to my cooking partner, and I found out the hard way that the lower part of the handle actually gets too hot to easily touch. You have to keep your hand out at the end. Or use a hot mitt, of course. Considering I also cook with cast iron, which does not come with fancy features like heat-resistant handles, I'm not fazed by this, but I was still surprised.
I've been very surprised by the bad reviews for this line which say the durability is terrible or even only so-so, as that has not been my experience at all. So far it has proven to be the most durable of any non-stick pan I've ever bought. Can you honestly say you've ever had a non-stick pan last a solid year, with frequent use and washing, with absolutely NO degradation in performance? I couldn't until now. I note that another review stated the quality of the sets is noticeably less than the individual pans, and I wonder if that's the reason for the bad reviews.
WearEver Admiration Nonstick Fry Pan / Saute Pan Dishwasher Safe Cookware, Gray
Although I've been very, very careful, my cook top is horribly scratched after only three weeks of use. Sadly, I'll have to look for another 10" saute pan to replace this one.Have used a 10" WearEver Saute Pan for several years with complete satisfaction. Took the information from the bottom of the pan, did a computer search for an identical pan. Elected to order two of the pans from Amazon from among the many sources found in the search results indicating the same pan description. The pans came in, with the same markings as my old pan. That is the only thing similar. Old pan is heavy guage quality pan with a non-slip handle (simply a jam-up pan). What I received was lightweight junk with cheap handles, etal. (What else can I say but "JUNK"!) I don't have any idea why Amazon, much less WearEver would use such deceptive marketing tactics just to sell a cheap saute pan. Don't think I will consider WearEver anymore and I will have to give a considerable amount of thought before ordering anything else from Amazon! Only reason I gave this product a 1-star rating, they do not offer a -5!

After reading the previous reviews of Cuisinox I purchased a 2.8 liter pot. Much as I love cooking with it I find I do not use it because the handle is so narrow, it is impossible to pick up and pour with one hand. The narrow handle twists in your hand because of the weight with any contents. Even my husband (a big boy) found it very difficult. It means it takes two people to pour from the pot One to hold both sides of the pot and the other to controlthe contents being poured. For this reason,I would not purchase any more. Otherwise I like the pot.Read Best Reviews of Cuisinox Elite 10 piece Cookware Set Here
Once upon a time, we really believed in Cuisinox. The company does not honour their warranty. We have a Cuisinox Elite 30 cm diam. deep skillet with Excalibur® which is rusting and the company will not replace it.
The pan was not abused in any way but the coating on the pan is worn in places and is beginning to rust.
All we wanted was for them to replace it.My pans warped and luckily the store I bought them from had them replaced under warranty. I bought 4 originally and two went back.I was told it was because I was placing cold water in hot pans, which I've never done. However, the second set of pans warped also. They also do not heat evenly.I blamed my very expensive induction stove for a very long time, until a day came about that I used one of the pans and was getting hot spots just cooking bacon and everything was sticking.I switched to my cheap Canadian Tire brand and funny thing...my bacon cooked evenly and nothing was sticking.I can even cook crepes better in my cheap CT pan and this I know because I have two pans going at the same time!In my opinion...they are a waste of money and I am extremely disappointed.

This versatile little pan is well worth its price and I highly recommend it :)Enjoy!

Worked right out of the box. Heats fast and even. It is a bit small, two eggs at best, but well worth it to me

Seems really small. Arrived damaged.I will try to purchase an invertor and buy a regular 120 volt fry pan. Not good if you have a lot of food to cook at one time. Great for one person.I also bought this for my OTR driver and he loves it.... but the only complaint was food does stick to it but he puts water in it plugs itback in to heat up and food comes right off. So this product does take a little bit more work to clean up afterward. Now he can have eggs, rice, hot sandwiches instead of cold ones. He said it is well worth the money. Next time you see a truck driver .... Thank him! :)
Mauviel M'steel Frying Pan, 11-Inch
If you're looking to spend near to all-clad money on a pan that takes a ton of effort to get ready to use, is finicky in its care (no soap), looks like hell, and requires using large amounts of fat to achieve nonstickiness, this is the pan for you.
I had a hard time seasoning it but it is such a good pan. Now it is nonstick. Cleans very easily.

I didn't buy this product from Amazon, but from another seller. However, I did feel compelled to review it here. Contrary to the other review, the process for seasoning this pan was quite simple. The key is to follow the directions on the card that is attached to the pan. The pan is coated with beeswax, so it must be removed. Beeswax melts at about 145 degrees so if your tap does not allow the water to get that high, it is best to do what I did: boil some water on the stove, drain it into your stopped kitchen sink, let it soak for about 5 min, pull it out, and wipe it off. Be careful though because the pan will be boiling hot. After that, put peanut oil in the pan, wipe it on the sides a little, heat it to about 400 degrees, let it cool, wipe it out with a paper towel.Repeat the oiling, heating, cooling, and wiping one more time, and then the pan is ready to go.
As I said above, this pan gets hot quickly. It's made of carbon steel like a wok, and is designed to get hot quickly for great sears. This pan has performed beyond my expectations when I have used it, and it keeps getting better non-stick properties as I have used it; just like an iron skillet does. I can understand why some restaurants use these pans. They are really good.

I purchased the 12.5" version of this pan from Amazon and I am completely satisfied. Easy to clean off beeswax (water from kettle and paper towels)and easy to season (as described from Mauviel).Since then the pan is amazingly non-stick and a joy to use. This pan is a great find, a great buy and will last a lifetime!I just got an 8-inch Mauviel M'steel for Christmas and am already on Amazon looking for a couple 11-inchers. I decided to leave a review because of the bad one I saw from 10/2012. I followed the manufacturer's instructions for removing the beeswax (a couple passes under scalding water from my tap, paper towels) and seasoning (heat flavorless oil, cool, wipe x2) and am loving this little fry pan. 5 stars!
