Paula Deen Non-Stick Stainless Steel Skillets

Paula Deen Signature Stainless Steel Nonstick 10-Inch SkilletI recently purchased this skillet and was surprised to find that each time it gets hot (just past medium) the bottom of the pan warps. It rocks badly on my glass top stove. Then when it cools, it goes back to flat.More annoying than anything as things seem to cook just fine.

This is the best 12 in skillet on the market. The copper bottom spreads the heat evenly.Everthing made in this turned out perfect.I've tried many other 12" skillets on the market and this is by far better than all.ShopKo in town lists the cost a $80.00....bought it at $40.00 on sale. You won't go wrong with it.If the copper did seperate...save your receipt for a new one. Also bought the 10" skillet...just as good as the 12".The non-stick surface seems to be very durable.

This is a superb skillet. The non-stick cooking area is extremely smooth, which makes it a joy to cook with and very easy to clean. The copper bottom distributes heat evenly to the entire cooking surface. It is rather deep for a 10 inch skillet which makes grease splatter less bothersome.I now own 2 Paula Deen skillets, this one and a 12 inch as well. They are my two favorite skillets. They are well made and have enough weight that keeps them in place on the stove. The handle does not transmit heat and has a good grip for texture and shape.I will keep an eye out for other Paula Deen signature cookware, these are the best skillets in my kitchen.

I have this skillet. It's the only one I will use now, I have 3 other 12" skillets in the cabinet. It's non-stick surface is awesome. The copper bottom spreads the heat evenly throughout the pan. My son has used this skillet and wants one for himself. I wonder if he'd like it for his B-day?

Purchased one of these for the wifey for X-mas two years ago.Daughter completely trashed the teflon surface with a metal utensil.OK,I understand that this is a user problem and not a product failure.Purshased another LAST Christmas to replace.Wife loved this pan.Easy to use, even heating from the thicker "copper" bottom, easy cleanup, etc....We now have absolutely NO metal utensils available to use in any of our cooking pans now.Found that the teflon surface was VERY soft anyway and can even be seriously damaged by PLASTIC utensils! The wife started complaining about the darned thing warping like heck when heat was applied to the pan.Starting out with eggs for omelettes, the pan starts fine, but then you get a CIRCLE instead of a flat "crepe" to try to turn into an omelette!!I measured the now PERMANENT 1/8" 3/16" warpage with a straightedge on a cold pan that now grows to 1/4" when the pan heats up.This is NOT, repeat NOT!! the type of quality I would expect for the price I paid and will probably NEVER purchase a Paula Deen cooking utensil ever again.Same exact problems with the Paula Deen cookware set that she got along with this pan last X-mas.
