This unit is very fast at arriving at cooking tempature and seems to hold cooking tempature well. However the induction heating area is quite small and only fits a 8" pan or pot. So it's impossible to cook bacon or even a large steak.
Good for bacon and eggs, etc.So, good, but not perfect. I do like the size and portability of it.
