Ok, it is not exactly an 8 inch pan. As other reviewers have mentioned. But, so solid and heavy. Made me order another larger back Silgaran pan. Too bad Amazon does not carry more of them and the matching lids. Maybe not as no-stick as some pans but it always does clean up nicely. Cannot imagine it not lasting forever.
I bought this pan due to the Silit brand. I thought it would be a non-stick pan. It's actually a fully-stick pan, that means every kind of food sticks to this pan from day 1. I kept trying to use it with less or more oil and it still sticks like crazy. Would never buy this brand again. Not sure what they did wrong with the make of it even though the shiny coating which I believe is ceramic is fine.
