In the first Indiana Jones film, Marian whacks a bad guy on the head with a frying pan and he goes down hard (I think he died)...meet that frying pan.Its painted like a sexy Lamborghini and is NOT light. The ceramic coating is NOT Teflon and won't flake off when you decide to boil water in it.I've fried eggs with a littlebutter (this isn't really non-stick), fried fish sticks, and made Chinese noodles ...all with no problems...and cleaned up the pan with water and a sponge.The only thing that stuck a little (left a "ghost print" which eventually scrubbed off) were Chinese steamed dumplings.I've got this and the 11 inch serving pan and am contemplating the 8 inch model.I live in Germany, so the price isn't so insane!Keep your eyes peeled for Silit Silargan cookware like this...I can't imagine you'll be disappointed! (My first review!)
