Martha Stewart Collection Hard Anodized Fry Pan, 12"

Martha Stewart Collection Hard Anodized Fry Pan, 12"After 1 year of use I am seeing chipping of the anodized surface exposing the aluminum around the edge of the pan.I am also seeing what appear to be scratches on the cooking surface. I have always hand washed & dried this pan and have rarely used metal utensils while cooking with this pan.

As other manufacturers have suggested I do use some sort of oil or butter when cooking with it as I do not believe this is advertised as non-stick. At this point I am concerend with the anodized layer leaching into the food.
