Well insulated handle remains cool. The moisture condenses in the dome and does not leak on the sides. It is German made.

I had purchased a silit and a wmf braiser neither one had a lid and since they are both the same size I did a little investigation and found that you can use this model for those products.Works great...I would highly recommend!
