Cuisinart GG30-20 GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 11-Inch Square Grill Pan

Cuisinart GG30-20 GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 11-Inch Square Grill PanSince my old outdoor grill was recently retired, & this is not the time of the year to purchase a new one, I decided to buy this pan instead. I have to say that it does as good a job at grilling meat as my gas barbeque did. It grills vegetables & fish perfectly. Overall, I am very pleased with this item & would highly recommend it.

The pan is really non stick and is easy to clean. The way the handle is constructed it does not get as hot as other handles. Delighted to have it since we got rid of our outdoor grill! May try the other pans in the same series.

Cuisinart GreenGourmet Eco-Friendly 11-Inch Square Grill Pan

I've had this grill pan for about one month. It is light weight making it easy to handle and absolutely nothing sticks. I used it for steak, porkchops, grilled cheese sandwich, and even eggs. I have other types of non-stick pans but none hold a candle to this non-stick. If it will wear well, you have a real winner. I do wish you offered a smaller version such as 8" or 9" square grill pan. I would definately

buy a pan of that size for cooking for one or two people.

Absolutely 5 STARS.

I read all the reviews on this eco friendly Cuisinart 11" grill pan and decided to purchase it. First I will say, it is a very good looking pan.I have only used it three times so far so maybe in 6 months I will have a different opinion but it is everything the manufacture claims.I have an electric smooth top stove so I was worried that it might not work for me as it isn't entirely flat on the bottom. It has grooves.Much to my surprise this pan fits perfectly on my cooktop. The handle stays cool and it grills very nicely leaving nice grill marks.Clean up is probably the best part as it cleans up beautifully without any effort. After reading other reviews, I decided not to grill on high and only have put it up to medium and medium high at the maximum. I also let it completely cool down before washing it by hand in warm soapy water with a sponge or paper towel. This pan looksbrand new like it has never been used. I also took care in having the pan in drawer where it does not touch other pans as it could chip the ceramic material if other pans are stacked on top of it.I am hoping this pan continues to hold up after months of use.If it does, I will say this material that the pan is made of is the BEST INVENTION EVER.The pan is also relatively inexpensive. At less than $50, you can't go wrong.

After 4 months of use, this pan is holding up very well.Grills nicely, easy clean up, and nothing sticks. Eco friendly too. Go for it.You won't regret it.

After 7 months of use, I see that the cleanup of this pan is taking a lot more effort. It is still the best grill pan I have used on my smooth top range but you can see where the finsh is wearing off some as the middle of the pan is becoming lighter in color than the rest of the pan.I have never overheated the pan nor have I used anything abrasive on it.

Yes. It's a grill pan as advertised, and a pretty good one at that. My wife and I have a set of the GreenGormet EcoFriendly cookware, and purchased the grill pan to match. The grill pan uses the same ceramic non-stick surface and is actually fairly non-stick compared to some of the competitors aluminum cookware (Calphalon). My only gripe is that when I grill something to burn those nice parallel marks on the food, the burnt food matter is really tough to remove from the surface of the pan. Don't get me wrong, with some other pans that job would be nearly impossible. Of course, nothing compares to Teflon but who wants cancer?

I would recommend to a friend or buy another.

Calphalon One Infused-Anodized 10-Inch Stir Fry Pan

Calphalon One Infused-Anodized 10-Inch Stir Fry PanIf you are reading this review, then you are probably considering a good pan for Asian stir-fry.Before I start, let's make one thing clear: This pan is NOT non-stick.If you are looking for a pure nonstick fry pan, stop now and look elsewhere.I am going to write about pros and cons about this pan, and let you be the judge.Today, we have so many choices: non-stick, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and now this Infused-Anodized Aluminum.I bought this pan during the promotion period when it was sold at $40.

Non-stick woks simply won't do for proper stir-fry.They are good for beginners or people who need to avoid oil, but you can never achieve proper stir-frying with them because they cannot handle the high heat required in stir-frying.No creditable Chinese restaurant will use a non-stick wok.

You cannot get more authentic Asian stir-fry cooking than a well-seasoned carbon steel wok and they are inexpensive (~$18).This 12 inch Carbon Steel Wok w/ Helper Handle (flat bottom) is my main wok.A well-seasoned carbon steel wok is naturally non-stick and can handle very high temperature. That being said, these woks must be seasoned before its first use and they need to be occasionally seasoned after. They can be mildly difficult to maintain and take a certain level of skill and experience to use.

I have not personally used a cast iron wok, but certainly have experience with cast iron skillets and cast iron dutch ovens.A cast iron wok also requires seasoning. It has great heat capacity. However, cast iron cookware are heavy and brittle, heats up slowly, and can literally crack. You will have great difficulty to toss the foods in the air with a cast-iron wok.

Stainless steel woks can handle high temperature and they are practically indestructible. They have great corrosion resistance and do not require seasoning -nor can they be seasoned. However, meats tend to stick to the cooking surface which prevents proper stir-frying.

Some reviewers had the expectation that the Calphalon One Infused cookware will function like a non-stick cookware and were disappointed when they found out otherwise. This line of cookware is simply stick-resistant, not non-stick.Meats will stick to this cookware, but simply less than stainless steel.Maybe the word "stick-resistant" is confusing, and Calphalon is largely responsible for this confusion.Anyway, here is my summary for this stir fry pan:

1) High temperature compatible. It can tolerate much higher heat than typical non-stick cookware.I have repeatedly heated it to the point of oil smoking out of the pan and the pan is fine.

2) Stick-resistant.It is slightly more stick-resistant than stainless steel, but nothing like non-stick.Foods will stick, especially meats.Stuck foods will release themselves as they start to caramelize and brown. In light of this, the Infused-Anodized technology is a more suitable for saute than for Asian stir-fry.This can be a good thing for people who care for taste over ease because this browning process is what gives cooked food a wonderful favor.

3) No cookware seasoning is required, unlike carbon steel and cast iron. You can boil water, cook acidic foods in this cookware without worrying about (1) the seasoning surface (patina) wears off or worse -(2) rusting.

4) Relatively easy to clean. It is much easier to clean than stainless steel cookware, but tougher than non-stick.Immersing the pan in warm soapy water for 10 minutes will be sufficient to remove most of the food residues. However, instead of simply wash away all the stuck meat bits, you can deglaze the bits to make a nice sauce. This way, you are cleaning and making sauce at the same time.:)For tough stains, use Bar Keepers Friend Cookware Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZ which is recommended by Calphalon.

5) It is somewhat damage resistant and it is advertised that metal utensils can be used.I found this to be false. It is tougher than non-stick, but not nearly as tough as stainless steel.I have used stainless steel utensils and they produce dents and scratches on this cookware, though the nonstick surface seems to be intact thus far.I strongly advise against using any metal utensil on this.

Hopefully this review can help you to decide if this Calphalon Infused-Anodized pan right for you.It is not a perfect stir-fry pan and I personally prefer a carbon-steel wok, but this Calphalon wok does have some nice features. If I have to summarize this pan, I would say it feels like a cross between a stainless steel pan and a nonstick pan -includes advantages and disadvantages from both.

Update (May 15, 2012):In case, I wasn't clear before.I prefer carbon steel woks over this.I no longer own this Calphalon One Infused stir fry pan.It is an ok wok, but a carbon steel wok is better as long as you are willing to season the carbon steel wok.Currently, this wok is being sold for >$100.I definitely would not recommend this cookware at this price point.

I like this pan--a lot. The product description is accurate:the pan is a HYBRID, neither stick nor nonstick. Based on the reviews of some others in this forum re: infused anodized pans, I braced myself for a sticky mess at the first stirfry. But to my surprise and delight the food glided off the pan's surface. Maybe it's because I keep surfaces clean (as recommended by the manufacturer)? Or that I always add a fine film of olive oil? Or that I cook on medium heat?

Despite its "stir fry pan" description, the pan's high sides make it suitable for cooking anything that fits within the flat bottom base and that you don't want splattering your stove top. I have cooked stirfries as well as pork chops, steak, tofu, and veggies. The pan is especially nice for browning--something I could never achieve (or achieve well) with a nonstick. Any food that does stick cleans away with a sponge if you soak the pan briefly in water.

I highly recommend this pan and plan to purchase other Calphalon cookware.

Concur with the other reviewers for the most part. The price is hard to beat, and the cooking properties sold me on the line enough to buy the higher-priced 1.5qt saucepan.

My only gripe is specific to this stir-fry pan: the flat bottom is small, so given the shape of the sides and the long, heavy handle, the pan does not sit flat on a ceramic cooktop.I get around this by just propping it up, but it is a serious flaw, particularly since they explicitly claim it's well suited for ceramic cooktops.

Read Best Reviews of Calphalon One Infused-Anodized 10-Inch Stir Fry Pan Here

I wanted a smaller wok because the typical sizes are just unreasonably unwieldy when cooking a small stir-fry for two people. That said, I was a little shocked at how small it was when I first took it out of the box. However, I've found, during use, that this is the perfect size when cooking for two people.Especially if you need access to the other heating elements for side dishes.I think I'd now like a smaller spatula though to allow for easier cornering!

Update:If they still sell this product, after 5 years of use it is still going strong and I've come to realize that sealing the surface simply amounts to a bit more patience in allowing the oil and pan to heat up nicely (i.e. shimmery, finger-like oil patterns on the sides, but not smoky).

Want Calphalon One Infused-Anodized 10-Inch Stir Fry Pan Discount?

I bought my first Calphalon One INFUSED pan over 15 years ago, the Wok, and became a loyal believer then and there. I have used the Wok on both gas and electric ranges and have always had even heat and easy stir fry. I have had many a shrimp or Hunan Fire Oil residue burn to the bottom, but have never had a bit of trouble washing the remains off. All I do is fill it with hot sudzy water, leave it sit for an hour or so, and take a plasitc scrub brush to whisk it all away. I bought the Calphalon One INFUSED Anodized 9-inch chef's skillet and the Calphalon One Non-stick 11-inch grill skillet early this year.I can report the same consistent and dependable cooking and clean-up results for the 9-inch skillet but the grill skillet is a bit more stubborn. This could be due to the rippled grill skillet bottom.I bought the last two items on Amazon and got very good sale prices, but I would pay full price for any of the Calphalon One INFUSED Anodized cookware items. They are first class. The Calphalon One Non-stick Anodized coated cookware is a definite step down. I have read owner reviews that complained about the product not living up to its reputation or price. If they were comparing to the INFUSED cookware, I can understand their disappointment.

CucinaPro 1654 Stainless Steel Electric Skillet 16 Inch - Non-Stick Interior

CucinaPro 1654 Stainless Steel Electric Skillet 16 Inch - Non-Stick InteriorWe had an older Waring electric skillet that was losing it's non-stick coating and needed replacement. This thing is in a whole different category. Much larger and does a much better job of maintaining a constant temperature. The construction is very high quality. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I cook simple meals since it is just the two of us and I use this pan several times a week.I debated between the 14 inch and 16 inch pan and decided on the 16 inch.It is large.Probably more than the two of us need but it really doesn't matter. It cleans up with a wipe of a towel and it has even heating.

My husband and I received the 16 inch skillet as a wedding gift 8 years ago. We hadn't registered for it and thought that it was too large to store and wouldn't be used very often. We were wrong. This is one of the appliances that we would never give up. It still cooks evenly and the non-stick is still perfect. It is large enough to make full breakfast for our family of four. I am confident that it will hold up for years to come and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality skillet.

PRO: If you need a large size skillet and want one of the highest quality this is the one to get. It's bright stainless finish and see-thru lid will impress everyone who see's it. I needed to replace a very old 12" skillet and wanted one a little larger. This CucinaPro 1654 is just what I was looking for. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

CON: A little on the heavy side. To me this is a minor thing.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Cookware Universal Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 6

Cuisinart CRUH-6 Chef's Classic Cookware Universal Pot Rack Hooks, Brushed Stainless, Set of 6One of the great things about Amazon is the abundance of consumer product reviews. One of the poor things about Amazon is the frequent scant product descriptions. I place a lot of value on what the reviews state, which often add the missing details.

These are versatile hooks that can attach to a flat bar or wire style rack since the rack attachment end is tapered to an opening of 1/2 inch. The hook end opening is one inch. They are 5 inches in length. The product description does not state what the material is; it merely suggests stainless steel.

The ones I recently received are polished stainless steel and are 0.2" in diameter. The quality is excellent.

The Cuisinart Universal Pot Rack Hooks are a very well made product. I use them on a "wire" type rack (similar to the middle picture on the product link) and they fit nicely.

I also value good product descriptions, and find most lacking in detail.Customer reviews are often helpful in filling in these details. The following information would have been helpful to me:

Cuisinart Model # CRUH-6

#7 wire guage

Stainless Steel

5 inches in length

Pot hook end opening is 1 inch wide at top, 1 inch deep, 1/2 inch at bottom, 45 degree left twist

Hanger end opening is 1/2 inch at top, 1 3/4 inch deep and 1/4 inch at bottom

Both ends are finished with a round over

Buy Cuisinart Chef's Classic Cookware Universal Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 6 Now

As advertised, these hooks can hang just about any pot , skillet or utensil.I purchased a chrome "bakers rack" and wanted to hang some pots and pans on it.These guys do a good job at that task, a ten inch cast iron skillet is no problem for one of these bad boys. The smaller hook fits just as easily over one of the thin rods in the shelf or thicker rod about the perimeter.

I first thought them to be pricey for just a bent metal rod.

when you hang these hooks you will notice that the hook part is purposely angled at about a 30 degree angle, so when you hang stuff on the hooks, the stuff is angled too, and not knocking into and bumping against the other stuff on hooks, kind of like parking at an angle in order to maximize on limited real estate.

you can't tell from the picture, but this product has a brown plastic coating over part of the hook which detracts aesthetically from our pot rack.

Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch French Skillet

Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch French SkilletI use this mostly for eggs. The pan is heavy, well made, well balanced, truly non-stick. My Circulon egg pan doesn't even compare...seems flimsy next to this one.

Eventually, I hope to replace all of my Circulon with the Analon Advanced.

This entire line of pans is superb. The 8" skillet is solid, heavy without being too heavy. The handle is very comfortable, and the silicone provides for a good grip.No need to use high heat with these pans. The inside and the exterior have a very effective non-stick surface, so the pan is so easy to clean. There is nothing more in a pan that anyone could want. The quality cannot be beat, in my opinion.

Buy Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch French Skillet Now

This is the only pan I use now. I'm working on the theory that if I need a 10", that's too much food for me. It cooks 2X 3oz.-5oz. just fine. I've discovered that when I heat sandwiches, I can pretty much turn the heat off after flipping the sandwich one time. There is so much residual heat that it keeps right on cooking! This past summer, in order to keep kitchen heat down, I would run the pan under cool water for a couple of seconds after using. I've done this many times now and I don't think I'm shocking the pan all appears to be working at the 110% quality mark. Even the handle is super comfortable... The only way this pan might earn another, or bonus, star would be if it came out and cooked the food for me.

After some serious research I purchased one of these hard-anodized non-stick French pans for my restaurant to test it out. 2 weeks later, I purchased more for a total of 6 pans. They are incredible! Even heating, very sturdy and cleans up with a wipe, even on the outside of the pan. I never submit reviews...but this pan was so exceptional for its quality/price/value ratio, I felt I needed to step up and tell others. I use my pans constantly. No seasoning needed; I wash my pans by hand (although they are dishwasher safe).

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Paella Pan

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Paella PanThis is a great stainless pan, good quality, great price, very fast shipping! My only problem is that in the measurements it says it is a 16" pan, and no where does it specify that the measurement is from handle to handle. While it doesn't hurt my feelings to have a nice Paella pan, I purchased it to be a lid to my 15" cast iron skillet and sadly it won't work for that.

This pan is great. I have used it twice in the grill and still in mint condition. Is for 2-4 people. I will get a larger size later on for anytime we have more guests!

Thought I was getting a heavy duty Grill resistant Paella pan.Paid 40 dollars for a 15 dollar flat bottomed wok. No rolled edge, so it potentially could cut me when washing, because it's sharp. Warped when I put it on the stove top so the bottom became rounded and it wobbled as it cooked. Not sure why, but the stainless steel stunk after I cooked on it, and still stunk after I washed it.Not impressed with the quality.Looks like a chinese cheap wok with a flat bottom.Won't be using it on the grill anytime soon. Sorry Sorry Mr. Reichland, not going to be buying the brand anytime soon again.

Farberware Millennium Nonstick Aluminum 12-Inch Skillet, Red

Farberware Millennium Nonstick Aluminum 12-Inch Skillet, RedI tried several expensive pans, thinking, "You get what you pay for." Obviously, that isn't always true. Some pans costing several times what this one cost did not last a year, even when given gentle treatment. So far, this pan has worked perfectly, and it has held up like new. When the finish gets messed up as all Teflon does it will not be a major expense to replace it.

I love this skillet! I wish it had a lid included, but that is the only thing I would change. Clean up on this is a breeze. It is just the right weight so it is not too heavy and not flimsy by any means. The red color is a nice slash of color. I also really like the handle on this. Very comfortable to hold onto. I highly recommend this for people who cook a lot but don't need or want to spend a fortune on high end cookware.

We thought this was a nice frying pan for the price and we enjoyed the fact that its surface was, as claimed, nearly impervious to the (careful) use of metal utensils. In fact after using it for 3-4 months the surface still looked almost new. Then suddenly, for no apparent reason (such as leaving the pan on the stove empty) the pan went pop and suddenly a circle about 9 inches in diameter in the middle of the pan was no longer making contact with our ceramic cooktop. While useful for standby purposes, it is not the go-to non-stick frying pan we had been enjoying up until then. So, onto the next lower-priced frying pan. This one will have a thicker bottom.

Swiss Diamond Nonstick 11" x 17" Cast Aluminum Double-Burner Griddle

Swiss Diamond Nonstick 11' x 17' Cast Aluminum Double-Burner GriddleI have looked for a double burner griddle for a long time.I researched many of the other brands, Le Creuset, All Clad, Caphalon to name a few.I needed one to work on my glass top electric bridge element.I took a chance on this one, although very expensive, I doubt I will be throwing it out any time soon.I cooked for a crowd at Christmas and made, bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, grill cheese, paninis and more.Loved it. Only used a medium to med high temp. Cooked great, cleaned up great. Did not warp and stayed very flat. I even used it as a cookie sheet and baked scones, sausage balls, cookies...I dont always go for the most expensive stuff, but this is worth the money. Perhaps if you have a gas stove you could use another brand, but for those with smooth glass top electric with a bridge element, this is the one.

Oh btw, I did not see any black stuff when I washed.Wash by hand with soapy warm water. No complaints about clean up. And didnt really need too much effort to clean.Just a wet towel would have sufficed but I like to use dish soap.

This is a non-stick PFOC free griddle you don't need to season it in fact, you really can't.My pancakes were golden. My bacon crisp. My eggs came off without any scraping.Wiped the surface clean.Super.

Earth Pan 12 Skillet

Earth Pan Nonstick Cookware 12-Inch Skillet, Terra CottaEarth pans are the best pans I have ever used and even better is that they are a natural product that does not out gas into your food. I have been using Earth Pans for several months now and will never go back to other non-stick pans. I recommend using wooden or silicone utensils as with all nonstick pans. Most of the time I wash my pans in the dishwasher with no problem.

If you care about what you take into your body and you want non-stick thesepans are the way to go and the cost is affordable as well.

The skillet non stick coating works well.Clean up is simple. The skillet is however very thin on the bottom and without any sort of heat insulator/spreader.The very thin skillet transfers heat from the burner in localized areas of the skillet instead of heating the entire bottom. Tough to cook food without burning it.Reminds me of a cheap thin non stick skillet from a dollar store.Would not purchase again.

I bought this cookware because of the less hazardous, POFA, PTFE-free nonstick coating and the Terra Cotta color. Unlike some, I've had no problems with anything sticking in four weeks of use. I wash this pan by hand. I use it on a gas stove with a metal type grill. I've noticed the enamel Terra Cotta coating starting to chip off. I would have thought this enamel would not flake off just by placing the pan on the gas stove grating. I'm planing on returning this pan if Amazon take it back.

Stansport Gourmet Castware Fry Pans

Stansport Gourmet Castware 10 1/2 Inch Fry Pan, RedIt is easy to clean and cooks evenly and quickly. It is a heavy and very attractive pan. I would diffently recommend this product.

the size is larger than one can imagine, heavy solid, takes two hands and arms to lift it so this is not for the weak. It arrived with the box slightly opened, but th einner box from the factory was intact. Th lid had a few chips won't affect usage but looks defective from the start. I have a induction cermatic top stove and I have not tried to use it as of yet will have to season this first and give it a go. Kinda concerned because the bottom is not completely flat and has a ridge on bottom edge of pan, will this affect heating and cooking? I won't know until I use it on the stove. Futura Non-Stick Deep-Fry Pan(Kadhai) 2.0 Litre with Glass Lid and Flat BottomI have used this Kadhai for the last couple of weeks now and am fairly happy with its performance but think it is a bit on the expensive side. There are other comparable branded products available that are cheaper.

Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 8 & 10 Inch Fry Pan Set

Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 8 & 10 Inch Fry Pan SetI received Calphalon's Contemporary Nonstick line for my wedding 6+ years ago, and while I loved the style, I ended not liking the non-stick surface because they started peeling after just a couple of years (note that I do cook every day, so they were heavily used). When it came time to replace my pots and pans, I decided to go with the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless line because 1. I love the look, and 2. I can keep my previous lids.Calphalon Contemporary Stainless does not disappoint. The pans are well-built, have a nice weight and balance to them, cook evenly, are a cinch to clean, and are so so puuuurty.Used properly (heat before adding oil/food) they are great, my eggs release easily, my frittatas cook evenly, my potatoes brown gorgeously, and that makes me a happy camper. The glass lids are a bonus b/c they let you see your food while cooking.I would suggest some Bar Keeper's Friend to accompany these beauties to keep them looking new.I have other Calphalon Contemporary Stainless items in addition to these two pans and love them all.

I purchased these pans last week from a Calphalon outlet. Since then I have used them to make omelets. Not a single one has stuck to the pan! All you have to do is heat the pan BEFORE adding oil or butter. It never fails! This is just as good or better than any nonstick pan I have encountered! And now I have a pan that can actually get a great sear on a steak. In my opinion, these pans are worth more than the price! If for some reason, these pans do not hold up, I will come back and edit this review.

My first skillet (although when I was a kid we had cast irons skillets). The first thing I tried were eggs.I admit, I was a little scared to try it after reading on other stainless steel pan reviews about the sticking issue. And then there was the fact this is a lower quality compared to some out there (but it's what I could afford!) My eggs just slid out as wonderful as can be! If anyone is hesitating using stainless because of the perceived sticking issue...go ahead and give it a try.If I can do it, anyone can!

Very sturdy well made pans. They cook evenly and are easy to clean, the handle is comfortable and strong. These are great pans, if you want a quality frying pan that won't burn your food, will cook evenly and that is safe to use, buy these.

The only think that bothers me about them is that mine don't do so well in the dishwasher, it could just be my water or maybe the dishwasher is too powerful, but they come out with the bottoms looking discolored, sort of gold tinted. I have a new high end dishwasher so it's not a cleaning issue. We have very hard water but the water softener takes all the hardness out so I'm not sure what is causing the problem.

Other than that, the pans are beautiful!
